Draymond Green Shades Jordan Poole In TikTok

Safe to say that Draymond Green and Jordan Poole aren’t the best of friends. The two famously got into a fight in a preseason Warriors practice in 2022. That incident has been attributed to causing the Warriors’ failure by both Green and head coach Steve Kerr.

However, Green and Poole may have played their last game together. Green is set to become a free agent on June 30. While he is widely expected to re-sign with the Warriors, there is the potential for him to take his elite defense elsewhere in the league. Meanwhile, Poole was recently traded to the Wizards for Chris Paul. Despite this, Green may have shaded Poole in a recent TikTok. The video was recorded while Green was attending The Match golf event in Nevada.

Green Picks Kuzma Over Pool In Roster Builder Challenge

In a TikTok for Bleacher Report, Green jumped on the “roster builder challenge”. Essentially, you have to create an NBA roster using one player from five randomly-selected teams. The video started simply enough, with Green choosing Cavs PG Darius Garland and Utah F Lauri Markkanen. Then came the Wizards as Green’s third team. “Who still on Washington’s team?” Green said with a laugh before taking F Kyle Kuzma. Additionally, Green rounded out his team with Damian Lillard (Blazers) and Bam Adebayo (Heat). When asked how they would do, Green argued that “they should win. But they don’t have me, Steph, or Klay. This is an Eastern Conference team. They lose in the Finals to the Warriors.”

Perhaps the bigger story here is the lowkey indication that Green is more than likely headed back to the Warriors. But of course, you can’t talk about the Wizards without mentioning their newest addition. Green took Kuzma over Jordan Poole, the newest Wizard excluding draft picks. But is this really shade? Or is it just an objective assessment? Kuzma had a line of 21.2/7.2/3.7 in 64 games. Poole went 20.4/2.7/4.5 in 82 games. While Green couldn’t predict the next team, taking Poole would also mean losing out on Lillard. So while there’s definitely maybe a little bit of shade, it also just shows Green’s good basketball IQ.

SOURCE SPORTS: Steph Curry and Klay Thompson Say They Believe Chris Paul Will Elevate the Warriors

Chris Paul Traded to Golden State Warriors in Swap for Jordan Poole & Picks

When the 2023-24 NBA season kicks off, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors will have a new teammate in former foe Chris Paul. The Dubs’s longtime superstar duo will face off in The Match against the NFL superstar tandem of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes and spoke to The Athletic about it, but started with some CP3 talk.

In case you missed it, less than a week after being traded to the Washington Wizards, Chris Paul is now a member of the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have landed Paul in a deal that sends Jordan Poole, a 2030 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick to DC.

Reflecting on the new deal, both Curry and Thompson state the transition will be easy.

“Any time you get to play with a player who is one of the best of your generation it’s an honor,” Thompson said. “It’s a little weird because we’ve had so many battles in the past with Chris, and he’s led so many teams that nearly knocked us off or did knock us off all the way back in 2014.

“I think he’s just going to add such a calming presence and leadership component that we need.”

Curry added, “The business is crazy. We all know that. If you asked us six months ago if this was something that could happen, the answer probably would’ve been no just based on where we were. Then you get to the summer and are trying to find ways to get better and put yourself in a position to chase another championship. Every team that CP has been on gets better. That’s the most consistent thing about him, and who he is and what he brings to the team. Everybody’s going to talk about the age.”

Chris Paul, recently traded from the Phoenix Suns, said the deal surprised him. In addition, he is placing blame on both new Suns owner Mat Ishbia and Detroit Pistons legend and Ishbia’s advisor, Isiah Thomas. Paul, Landry Shamet, and picks were sent to the Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal.

Paul is currently on a book tour and spoke with The New York Times about the trade.

“It’s just — it’s tough,” Paul said. “Seriously, it is part of the business, and what you realize is that no one owes you anything. No matter how you are with them or what you do, you realize that in this business, nobody owes you anything, as it should be.

“But when it comes through and my son texts me, I realize that, you know, Mat and Isiah, I guess, just wanted to go in a different direction.”

Well, now CP3 is headed in a new direction.

Draymond Green Agrees With Kerr About Effect Of Poole Fight

There were a lot of reasons the Warriors struggled this season. They played poorly on the road and were one of the worst teams in transition. However, Steve Kerr also pointed to a lack of trust that spread through the team after Draymond Green and Jordan Poole fought in an October practice.

“There’s no hiding from it — the incident with Draymond and Jordan at the beginning of the year played a role in that,” Kerr said. “It’s hard for that not to impact a team….Anytime some trust is lost, then it makes the process much more difficult, and there was some trust lost.” However, Kerr also said that the team was not a contender without Green, who is facing a player option year.

Green Owns Up To Letting Team Down

Speaking with Stephen A. Smith during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Green reflected on how he lost his standing with the team after the fight with Poole. “We’re not playing right now because when you speak about the fouling, when you think about all of the slippage that we had as a team on the road, not being able to come together,” Green said. However, he continued, taking personal responsibility. “None of those things happen if that doesn’t happen, because the voice that I am and the departments that I lead this team in, there was a ton of slippage due to me sitting back, me not saying anything, me trying to allow that situation to play itself out and give it time to heal.”

He also revealed that it wasn’t until February that he felt comfortable enough to lead the team again. “If that slippage has been going on that long, you are who you are at that point. You’ve built those habits. You’ve built bad habits. That is who you are now. So to try to correct them then. It’s like, ‘OK, you may get a little better.’ We did. We ended up in the second round of the playoffs but not at a championship level.” What do you think about Draymond’s comments? Do you think he will return to the Warriors next year? Steve Kerr Says Warriors Failure Stemmed for Green-Poole Fight

The Golden State Warriors crashed out of the playoffs with a blowout loss to the Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals. It capped a disappointing season for the Warriors, who went from reigning champions to a struggling six-seed.

After their elimination, head coach Steve Kerr admitted that they were not a “championship team” this season. There are a lot of things that went wrong for the Warriors. These include a dismal record on the road and some of the worst transition efficiency in the league. Despite these on-court factors, Kerr has pointed to something else to explain the Warriors’ slump.

Kerr Says Trust Was Never “Rebuilt” After Practice Fight

In October 2022, it was reported that during a Warriors practice, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole had gotten into a physical altercation. Green spent a week away from the team. But more importantly, according to Kerr, it caused the team to lose trust in one another. “Anytime some trust is lost, then it makes the process much more difficult, and there was some trust lost.” Kerr, speaking at his exit interview, continued. “That’s as blunt as I can be. We have to get back to what has made us really successful, which is a really trusting environment and a group that relies on one another and makes each other better.”

However, he went on to specifically call out the Green-Poole fight as the inciting incident. “There’s no hiding from it — the incident with Draymond and Jordan at the beginning of the year played a role in that,” Kerr said. “It’s hard for that not to impact a team.” However, Kerr stated that he is eager to rebuild that trust and move forward with both players on the team. “Look, if Draymond is not back, we’re not a championship contender,” Kerr said. “We know that. He’s that important to winning and to who we are. I absolutely want him back.” 2023/24 is a player option year for Green, meaning that his future with the Warriors lies solely with him.

Jordan Poole Media Session Led To Tense Vibe In Warriors Locker Room

Jordan Poole is one of those players who has been wildly inconsistent throughout the season. Although he got a massive $140 million deal last summer, he hasn’t necessarily lived up to it. Overall, this inconsistent play has continued throughout the playoffs. He was not great against Sacramento, and he has been even worse against the Lakers. Now, the Lakers have a 3-1 series lead which does not bode well for the Warriors’ title hopes. At this point, fans just want to know what is going on with Poole.

Additionally, Jordan Poole has been part of a lot of drama with the Warriors. It all started with the Draymond Green punch that many believe still lingers in the locker room. Poole and Green clearly do not like each other, and the tension extends to the court. After last night’s game, Poole was asked to answer for his play. According to Kerith Burke of NBC Sports, this led to a tense scene in the Warriors locker room. Simply put, every player on the team wanted to know what he had to say for himself.

Jordan Poole Didn’t Have Much To Say

“It’s my shot. I don’t know. If I knew, I would tell you,” Jordan Poole reportedly said. “Well, my work ethic doesn’t change. My routine doesn’t change. Maybe opportunity changes, but you can only control what you can control.” Overall, it is clear that Poole is about as clueless as to what as going on as we are. Although he has the talent to take a game over, he just seems to be in a slump. Perhaps the whole issue with Draymond Green is still lingering, causing division. Whatever it may be, the Warriors need it to come to an end, and fast.

Game 5 of the series is set to go down in San Francisco on Wednesday. If the Warriors lose, their season is over. However, if they win, they get to fight another day. Needless to say, there is a lot riding on this one. Let us know who you think will win, in the comments section below. Stephen A. Smith Has A Question For Jordan Poole

Stephen A. Smith is someone who prides himself on “telling it like it is.” Overall, not everyone is down with the type of commentary he provides. However, he has mostly kept the lights on at ESPN over the years, which has to mean something. He knows how to push buttons and he also knows how to get ratings. At the end of the day, what he does is an art form, and you can’t deny his genius. Moreover, with the NBA Playoffs in full swing, Stephen A. has been able to get off a barrage of hot takes.

Although, not every take is a hot one. Sometimes, the First Take host is just looking to hold players accountable. The latest person to get that kind of treatment from Smith is none other than Jordan Poole. The Golden State Warriors star has not been great throughout the playoffs. In fact, during Game 4, Poole came off the bench and played 10 minutes. However, he didn’t score a single point. This subsequently prompted Smith to take to Twitter, where he had a question for Poole.

Stephen A. Just Wants To Know Something

“Jordan Poole, last time I checked he gets a check,” Stephen A. began. “Last time I checked he wears a Golden State uniform just like the rest of the team. Last time I checked he’s on the team bus, he gets into the team hotels, gets that per diem, he gets those meals, he got a salary, $140 million contract. He got his bag. Where the hell he been?” This is a very good question to ask, and we’re sure Warriors fans are feeling the same thing right now. Jordan Poole was supposed to be a stud for them. Instead, he has been a dud.

At this point, the Warriors are going to need to dig deep if they want to get out of this hole. They need to win three-straight games, which is no easy task. Although, if any team can do it, it would probably be them. Let us know what you think of the Jordan Poole situation, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

Ice Spice Posts Pics From Private Jet

Ice Spice posed for pictures on a private jet for her latest Instagram post shared on Saturday. In doing so, she showed off bags of Chanel clothes, her snacks for the flight, and more. While it’s unclear where Ice Spice was traveling to, she was recently spending time in Italy following her appearance at the 2023 Met Gala in New York City. She also shared photos from her trip to Florence, earlier this week.

“The only royalty we care about today,” one fan commented on Ice Spice’s new picture. “Poole bought this,” another joked, referencing the rumors that she’s been dating Jordan Poole.

Ice Spice appeared alone in the pictures, although The Golden State Warriors star is reported to have spent $500,000 on a date with the “Munch” rapper. In response to the rumors, fellow New York rapper Cam’ron slammed Poole on his show, It Is What It Is. “Jordan Poole, you spent $500,000 on an Ice Spice date,” he began. “You’re a munch and you’re playing like a fucking munch. This is not you from last year, bro. Go back to Milwaukee and figure it the fuck out and get back in the playoffs ’cause you look crazy. ‘Cause I had your back last year! You got n****s out here talking ’bout, ‘What was all that Jordan Poole you was poppin’?’ You fuckin’ a munch. Nah, he’s a munch, ’cause I had his back.”

He added: “What happens is this: When you start dating the Ice Spices and the people, they say, ‘Boo watching, boo watching, let me get all crazy,’” Cam’ron said. “She don’t give a fuck, she from the Bronx, bro. Fordham Road, have you been to Fordham Road? Jordan Poole, next time you go to New York, go around Fordham Road, Concourse, Highbridge, South Bronx. You gone see what you spent $500,000 on and be like, ‘Yo, I was wilding.’”

Cam’ron And Mase Went In On Jordan Poole Over A Rumor He Spent Over $500K On A Date With Ice Spice, Calling Him A ‘Munch’ And More

Whoever had the idea to give Cam’ron and Mase a sports talk show deserves a massive raise, but they also have a problem on their hands. On one hand, the show works because of the hosts’ tendencies to spiral into chaotic side discussions that make use of their charismatic, Harlem-bred personalities. On the other, sometimes they need to be reined in to keep them from veering into problematic territory — but doing so would stifle their capacity for creating viral moments like this one.

Make no mistake; this is very borderline problematic. In the latest episode of It Is What It Is, Cam basically blames Jordan Poole’s poor performance in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs on a woman, Ice Spice — specifically, on Jordan Poole supposedly spending half a million dollars taking Ice Spice out (how?!???). But then, Mase calls Jordan Poole a “Munch” (from Ice’s breakout single and also the unofficial nickname for her loyal fans) and the whole thing becomes very funny.

“You’re a Munch, and you’re playing like a f*ckin’ Munch!” Cam declares. “This is not you from last year, bro. Go back to Milwaukee and figure it the f*ck out.” Cam explains why he’s so mad at Poole; after having the streaky shooter’s back for years, he feels let down by Poole’s questionable decision-making throughout the playoffs. However, there’s no evidence that Poole even knows Isis (Ice Spice’s real name), and the rumors come from notoriously unreliable gossip sites like Media Takeout.

Also, for what it’s worth,
