Jessica White Turns to In-Vitro Fertilization on Her Journey to Motherhood

Model and reality star Jessica White, 40, is determined to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother. White revealed that she is undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to have a baby on her own–without a partner, following a miscarriage with her ex, Nick Cannon.

In an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” White revealed, “The hormones are running rampant. I’m having hot flashes, I’m crying all the time. I’m mad about the wind blowing. It’s working!” White shared, describing her experience as a real-life “pin cushion” due to the numerous shots required for the treatment. “We’re going to go in next month and retrieve all the eggs,” she continued. “You get tired of being picked … and having to stab yourself in the stomach. It’s crazy but it’s worth it.”

White turned to IVF after discovering a sizable uterine fibroid and a 10-centimeter cyst that prevented her from successfully carrying a fetus to term. “I had six miscarriages,” she explained, noting that her fertility issues extended beyond the miscarriage with Cannon that she publicly spoke about in 2021. “No baby could actually survive in my womb in the first place,” she reflected. “It is a very lonely and isolating experience.”

Now, with her medical issues addressed and a supportive team of doctors, White is optimistic about starting a family. “I just keep thinking about those sweet two little babies that I’ll be implanting in my womb in the next couple of months,” she said, having already found a sperm donor. “I have my baby’s daddy … and I’m stuck on that being the one.”

White’s relationship with Cannon, a father of 12, ended partly due to his public announcement of having a baby with Brittany Bell. “She was aware that I had just had a miscarriage, two weeks prior to her news coming out, because he told me that he told her. And I was living at his house, she knew that as well,” White recalled. “But I found out on Instagram along with the rest of the world.”

White noted that she and Cannon “were about to start in vitro” when she discovered Bell was expecting her second child with Cannon in June 2020. “So, when I came out, people thought I was this homewrecker. No, there was a real life going on. I was bullied for months with that whole situation,” she said.

Despite their breakup, White still holds affection for Cannon. “I love Nick still. I’ll always love him. Nick and I grew up together, so that’s not something that will ever fade,” she said. “Whether children came here or not, his DNA is still implanted inside of me. It’s a part of my brain fragment now. It just didn’t work out, but the love will never be lost.”

As she embarks on this new chapter, White remains hopeful and resilient, looking forward to the possibility of motherhood through IVF.

The model says she can see better now that her astigmatism has been corrected—she loves her new eye color and promises to share the full details on her eye surgery soon.

My healing is almost complete since I did my eye surgery on Monday. I’m in love with my outcome. 1st I can see much better now that my stigmatism has been taken care of. 2nd I love my new eye color.

On June 13, in a since-deleted Instagram post, White chronicled the alleged toxic state of her relationship with Nick Cannon. This would mark the second time the model would speak up about her time with the media mogul. In 2021, she admitted to finding out about his baby with Brittany Bell, along with the rest of the world, while they were a couple. Worse yet, the announcement came just a few weeks after White’s miscarriage.

During an exclusive interview with Page Six, White revealed several alleged instances of emotional abuse marked her relationship. “I went through an emotionally abusive relationship, and everybody goes through it,” she said. “I am just the first person in Hollywood to talk about it, and not try to make a pretty picture of it.” Although the pair were officially together from 2015 until 2020, White claimed they’d been an on-and-off couple for much longer.

White has since joked that she should have saved the massive details for a book and “got paid for it.” Regardless, she has insisted she’s never going back to Nick Cannon. “I am having so much fun without him, and I am better without him,” she said. White added that she doesn’t need “all that energy and all that s**t.” She is now on a journey of self-love and acceptance, and she’s admitted she’s quite excited to try her hand at love again and have a baby “with the right man.”

Jessica White has accused Nick Cannon of being “emotionally abusive” during their relationship. The model discussed her time dating Cannon during a new interview with Page Six. Cannon and White officially dated from 2015 to 2020, although she mentioned to the outlet that they were together for eight years.

“I went through an emotionally abusive relationship, and everybody goes through it,” she told Page Six. “I am just the first person in Hollywood to talk about it, and not try to make a pretty picture of it, I don’t want to be perfect.”

The interview comes after White posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram page directed at her ex. At the time, she wrote: “I wanted it to work, prayed every day that you’d see me and love me the way that I loved you. Maybe you did but just kept it from me during the relationship. I walked away with more questions than anything, I don’t know till this day really why current things had to happen.”

When Page Six asked for a follow-up on the statement, White admitted she regrets posting it. “I should have saved it for the f–king book,” she remarked. “I probably regret that [because] I should have saved it for the f–king book, and got paid for it.” She further confirmed, “I am writing a book,” but noted that her chapter on Cannon, “would be very short… I think if you put it in a book, he would be half a chapter. A half a chapter is still too long.”

White also added that she’ll never get back together with Cannon. “I am not ever going back and that’s the facts,” she said. “I am having so much fun without him, and I am better without him, and I don’t need all that energy and all that s–t, I am done.”

Now the Victoria’s Secret model is reaching out to her longtime lover via Instagram after he stopped communicating with her for making their relationship her storyline on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

Tried to reach out to you but here’s my book @nickcannon I know you’re upset about the show but after eight years I can’t stand when things catch you off guard and I feel like you deserve way more respect as a man even though I may be more respectful than you ever gave me With public announcements. . Lol I have loved and I gave eight ride or die years to you With my head high and heart praying you’d see me the way I deserved. I wanted it to work, prayed every day that you’d see me and love me the way that I loved you. Maybe you did but just kept it from me during the relationship. I walked away with more questions than anything, I don’t know till this day really why current things had to happen. I wanted the world to know I didn’t always feel good like Nc was proud to have me as a partner and I’m so happy I can say that now and still know how awesome I am. I’m proud I can say the truth and how I’m healthy emotionally and wouldn’t change my insane insecurities that I prayed off my life. I had many hurts and pain way before nick. I never felt love that was safe even as a kid so no nick you didn’t cause that pain I had it long before us but I put it off on you unfairly without seeing that my healing needed to be deeper past us. I mean you added to it but my fear of not being loved wasn’t broken by you I’d like to publicly say that. I felt like you always put the other women on a pedestal and i was beyond unstable about that. I have to say these things because I’m going to move on from public shame tht has been over my life since I was at the top of my game in fashion. I know the truth now about just how much healing I needed and God has taken my hurt I’m not ashamed by being beautiful and successful and not being loved with care throughout my life because theres big big love coming to me that will fill up my memories with joy. God will get the glory out of my broken past not shame nor sadness. the truth is NC and I were both beautifully broken when we were children and didn’t know how to love each other. Instead we hurt each other.
