AT&T is set to celebrate Black culture and community at this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture, marking its 30th anniversary from July 4-7 in New Orleans, LA. For this milestone event, AT&T will offer an array of experiences through music, mentorship, panel discussions, and immersive activations.
The AT&T Dream in Black connected stage, located within the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, will feature a dynamic lineup of performances that pay tribute to the music shaping the last three decades of Black artistry. Headlining the stage will be Mýa, Jadakiss, and Jeremih, among other influential artists and entertainers.
“I’m looking forward to headlining the AT&T Dream in Black connected stage as we gear up to celebrate thirty years of ESSENCE Festival,” said Mýa, singer and songwriter. “I know I’ll cherish this performance because it gives me the opportunity to connect with my fans and take them through my journey as an artist as we reflect on the last three decades of art and culture within the Black community.”
“I always look to honor and celebrate Black culture through my music, which is why I’m excited to headline the AT&T Dream in Black connected stage at ESSENCE Festival,” said Jeremih, R&B artist. “Connecting with my fans while they experience the culture and community that is ESSENCE marks a significant moment for me.”
“I’m excited to join ESSENCE once again at the AT&T Dream in Black connected stage,” said Jadakiss, hip hop artist. “The city’s got the vibe, the soul, and the stories of Black culture all around us. It’s about celebrating where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. This performance is a shout-out to our roots, a celebration of our strength, and a step toward community and connection.”
AT&T’s involvement in the ESSENCE Festival of Culture embodies a celebratory experience honoring the festival’s 30-year impact, with a focus on connection, technology, and artistry. The AT&T Dream in Black connected stage will be the heart of this celebration, showcasing performances that reflect the rich history and evolution of Black music.
“At AT&T, our purpose is to build a vibrant and sustainable business that connects ALL people to greater possibility,” said AT&T in a statement. “We believe that inclusivity fuels creativity, drives innovation, and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve.
