Ben Affleck Launches His Music Career In A Super Bowl Ad For Dunkin – To The Dismay Of J-Lo, Fat Joe, And Jack Harlow

Ben Affleck is trying his hand at being a pop star. The Air actor has let the “bored man in the world” headline get to him. To get his feet wet in the industry, Affleck didn’t have to travel far, given that his wife is pop music star Jennifer Lopez.

But as his “voice of reason,” Jack Harlow attempts to stop him from crashing Lopez’s studio session. However, as the Dunkin Super Bowl LVIII commercial shows, Affleck is too far gone. As Affleck interrupts what appears to be Lopez’s time in the office, working on This Is Me…Now, he’s met with hilarious stares of disapproval from Fat Joe, Matt Damon, and more. But Tom Brady approves.

Ultimately, the bulldozing didn’t work out in his favor, but Affleck isn’t going to give up without a fight.

So far, Lopez has shared two records from the forthcoming project, including the title track and “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Latto. Although Affleck hasn’t made an appearance on either, there are still eleven tracks to come from the body of work. Who knows, maybe Affleck made the final cut.

Jack Harlow Serves As Ben Affleck’s ‘Voice Of Reason’ In Their Dunkin’ Super Bowl Commercial Teaser

Super Bowl LVIII is this Sunday (February 11). You will have to tune into the big game to catch Usher’s highly-anticipated halftime performance. But as far as advertisers are concerned, they have no problem spoiling their forthcoming commercials. So far, the public has been treated to Ice Spice’s upcoming cameo. Yesterday (February 8), Dunkin previewed their ad slot starring “Lovin’ On Me” rapper Jack Harlow and Ben Affleck.

In the teaser, Affleck, a longtime Dunkin’ lover, battles with his late-night craves. As Affleck and Harlow sit in their car in what appears to be a Dunkin’ parking lot, the two verbally spar about right and wrong. The actor needs to be pulled in from the temptations. Unfortunately, Harlow isn’t there to be the “voice of reason,” at least not in what Affleck needs. Instead, Harlow pushes Affleck closer to his Dunkin’ fix. You will have to tune into the Super Bowl to see how the dilemma ends for Affleck.

This isn’t Affleck’s first time appearing in a Dunkin’ campaign. The Air actor also made a cameo in Ice Spice’s commercial for her limited signature drink, his wife, and singer Jennifer Lopez’s drive-thru segment with the company.

Jennifer Lopez Debuted A New Song, ‘This Is Me…Now,’ In A Rosy Pink ‘SNL’ Performance

In her second performance of the night, Jennifer Lopez debuted new music on the Saturday Night Live stage. Ahead of her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, Lopez premiered the album’s title track.

The song, which serves as the opener on This Is Me…Now, is downtempo ballad, on which, Lopez basks in the joy of her rekindled love with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

“You met me halfway / Growing pains, broke some chains in every chapter / Now we know what it takes for our ever after / Took some lefts, now we’re right here where we are,” sings Lopez in the song’s opening verse.

Having made a loving reconnection, Lopez realizes that Affleck has helped her love herself even more.

“This is me now / And I took my time / Lot of winters summers baby / And I healed my heart / But I love who I am lately / This is me now,” sings Lopez on the song’s chorus.

While on stage, Lopez was dressed in pink roses, symbolizing a blissful new chapter — a brand new era of love and happiness, with the person she never stopped thinking about.

Ayo Edebiri Seemingly Addressed Her Resurfaced Comments About Jennifer Lopez During A Game Show Sketch On ‘SNL’

In the modern day of technology, many of us have learned the hard lesson that past posts and comments can come back to haunt us. Such was the case for Ayo Edebiri on tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live.

During a sketch, Edebiri, along with SNL cast members Andrew Dismuskes and Chloe Fineman, play contestants competing on a game show called Why Did I Say That?, hosted by Kenan Thompson. During the game show, Thompson retrieved past comments left on people’s posts by the contestants. The comments range from sexually objectifying to threatening death. The rules of the game entailed each contestant explaining why they left such comments on the posts.

After being forced to revisit those comments, Edebiri’s character decided she had enough.

“We get it,” Edebiri said. “It’s wrong to leave mean comments, or post comments just for clout, or run your mouth on a podcast, and you don’t consider the impact because you’re 24 and stupid. But I think I speak for everyone when I say from now on, we’re gonna be a lot more thoughtful about what we post online.”

Perhaps Edebiri’s character is referring to a guest appearance she made on Laci Mosley’s Scam Goddess podcast back in 2020, during which, Edebiri alluded to rumors that Jennifer Lopez — who was tonight’s musical guest — uses ghost singers on her track.

“She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” Edebiri said at the time. “I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.”

Though tonight, it seemed that Lopez and Edebiri were both in good spirits. Perhaps they’ve put their differences aside?

You can watch the sketch above.

Jennifer Lopez, Latto, And Redman Threw The Ultimate Wedding Bash During Their ‘Can’t Get Enough’ Performance On ‘SNL’

Tonight (February 3) Jennifer Lopez made her fifth appearance on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. The performance arrives ahead of her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, which will be accompanied by a film, streaming on Prime Video. And with her performance of the album’s lead single, “Can’t Get Enough,” Lopez gave us a taste of what to expect, by showing off her theatrics.

While on stage, Lopez moved effortlessly to the festive beat. Joined by dancers matching her energy, Lopez continued to ride the high ahead of This Is Me…Now, which was largely inspired by her rekindled romance with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

Dressed in black and white, Lopez and her dancers were celebrating the ultimate wedding bash. Midway through the performance, she was joined by rapper Latto, who contributed a verse to the song’s remix, which was released last month. While Latto’s surprise appearance was rather short, she didn’t once miss a beat.

Toward the end of the performance, rapper Redman made a surprise appearance, adding yet another new verse to “Can’t Get Enough.”

Old Clips Of Ayo Edebiri Dissing Jennifer Lopez Resurfaced As The Two Are Set To Appear On ‘SNL’ Together

The good news: Not only is Ayo Edebiri hosting SNL for the first time, but the musical guest is no less than Jennifer Lopez. The bad: They might have had to talk about Edebiri insulting Lopez a few years back. Ahead of this week’s episode, an old clip of the now-Emmy-winner and former Thunderbolts cast member dissing the Grammy nominee resurfaced, and they’re not great.

Per Page Six, Edebiri appeared on the podcast Scam Goddess back in 2020. It was two years before The Bear made her a big star, and she clearly felt comfortable running her mouth about Lopez, even disseminating a conspiracy theory.

“She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” Edebiri said at the time, referring to a rumor that Lopez uses ghost singers. “I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.”

Edebiri went on. “A lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, ‘J. Lo didn’t have time to make it to the studio,’ like, ‘J. Lo was busy,’” she said. “It’s like, ‘Doing what?’

She concluded that Lopez’s musical career is “one long scam.”

Neither Edebiri nor Lopez have addressed the comments. In the SNL promo, which you can watch above, they seem extra chummy.

“I’m really excited, I love your show,” Lopez told Edebiri, presumably referring to The Bear.

Edebiri replied, “I love your everything.”

Perhaps the two have buried the hatchet. One hopes, because otherwise things could get awkward.

Latto & Jennifer Lopez Collab Doesn’t Fly With All Listeners, Rap Diva Responds

Self-proclaimed “girls girl” Latto continues to expand her impressive resume of musical collaborators. For her latest release, the Atlanta-based artist jumped on the remix of Jennifer Lopez’s “Can’t Get Enough,” dropping off a red-hot visual to accompany the sensual song. “Call the doctor, I don’t see nobody but you / Do I still love you? Baby, is the sky blue? / Spoil a b**ch down and he faithful to me too,” Latto raps on her verse, making it clear that she accepts nothing short of the best in love and beyond.

As People reports, the “Put It On Da Floor” hitmaker was clearly excited to work with someone as legendary as Lopez. Between her discography, film credits, and endeavours in the fashion/beauty world, there’s little that the blonde beauty hasn’t done. While Latto is happy to now have joint songs with J. Lo, Cardi B, and Mariah Carey already under her belt, social media users are expressing discontent with the newly released remix.

Latto Gives Haters a Piece of Her Mind

“Love Latto to death, but who is making these decisions? 🫤,” a listener not feeling the “Can’t Get Enough (Remix)” asked on Twitter/X. When she saw the post, the 25-year-old didn’t take long to clap back. “Girl, I [got a] call that THEE Jennifer Lopez wanted to do a song [with] me? I made the decision, just like [you] would too. [The f**k] is [you] talm ’bout?” Latto wrote without missing a beat.

Latto’s internet critics aren’t the only ones she’s squaring up against this winter. According to a celebrity makeup artist, she and fellow femcee Coi Leray came to blows not long ago, with the 777 hitmaker coming out on top. The rumours have yet to be confirmed by either party, but you can still catch up on the gossip at the link below. For more music/pop culture news, tap back in with HNHH later.
