Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, is giving up on getting the Bad Boy mogul out of the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after his appeal failed, last week. In a court filing obtained by AllHipHop, the attorney explained that, at this point, there’s nothing left that can be done until further notice. He had previously requested that his client at least be moved to Essex County after being unable to get him out on bail. The rapper’s legal team had described the conditions at MDC Brooklyn as “horrific.”
“Following the September 18, 2024 court appearance, the court ordered a status update from counsel concerning any request related to the location of Mr. Combs’ detention,” his lawyer Marc Agnifilo wrote. “At this point, there is no request from counsel that the court take any action.”
Authorities arrested Diddy, last week, sharing a 14-page federal indictment against him. “For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” the indictment read. “To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.” He’s since pleaded not guilty and has denied all of the allegations.
At the Brooklyn jail, Diddy is currently on suicide watch, although Agnifilo has clarified that the move is standard procedure for new, high-profile inmates. R. Kelly, Jeffrey Epstein, and more celebrities have stayed there in the past. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.
It’s no secret that Diddy’s in a tough spot right now. Earlier this week, the Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in New York City following months of damning allegations and lawsuits. He’s since been hit with multiple charges and could face a maximum of life in prison if convicted. Today, it was reported that the mogul has been placed on suicide watch, though his lawyer Marc Agnifilo insists that it’s simply part of the facility’s protocol.
In fact, Agnifilo described Diddy as “strong, healthy, confident and focused on his defense” today. Now, however, sources who recently spoke with TMZ have revealed what his main concern is. According to them, it’s his seven kids, Quincy, Justin, King, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie, and Love. He’s reportedly desperate for an opportunity to speak to them amid the difficult circumstances, which haven’t been easy for anyone involved.
The source also adds that Diddy’s loved ones are leaning on each other and their faith at this time. For now, it remains unclear when he could have an opportunity to finally talk to his children. He’s reportedly on a strict schedule at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Earlier this week, his request for pre-trial release was also denied for a second time.
“The government has proven the defendant is a danger,” U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter said of the ruling. “The bail package is insufficient even on risk of flight.” What do you think of Diddy allegedly being desperate to speak to his children amid his legal battle? Earlier this week, PEOPLE reported that Diddy has been placed on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn following his arrest. The sources the outlet spoke with described the mogul as “in shock,” and claimed that “his mental state is unclear.” Now, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo has confirmed this with TMZ. According to him, however, this doesn’t mean that Diddy is suicidal.
Agnifilo says the suicide watch was “issued by MDC officials,” and that it’s a standard procedure for “new, high-profile inmates.” He adds that he spent six hours at the facility yesterday with Diddy, who appeared in relatively good spirits.
Diddy’s Lawyer Claims Suicide Watch Is Standard Procedure At MDC
He’s “not at all suicidal,” Aginifilo claims, and is instead “strong, healthy, confident and focused on his defense.” This is certainly good news, as it looks like Diddy has a long battle ahead of him. He’s been charged with “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.” If convicted, he faces a minimum sentence of 15 years, and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
He appeared in court for an appeal hearing earlier this week where he was denied bail for the second time. “The government has proven the defendant is a danger,” U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter said at the time. “The bail package is insufficient even on risk of flight.” Regardless, Aginifilo appears confident. “He’s going to clear his name and we’re going to stand by his side as he does,” he told reporters this week, per CNN. “We believe in him wholeheartedly.” What do you think of Diddy’s lawyer claiming that he’s “not at all suicidal” despite being on suicide watch? Diddy is currently in one of the most dangerous and “horrific” detention centers in the United States. After his first bail package was denied –it includes selling his and his mother’s Miami homes, as well as being under a watchful eye at all times– he was admitted into the MDC in Brooklyn. The Metropolitan Detention Center is constantly dealing with some sort of issues, with some being graver than others. According to Yahoo! News, they include “rampant violence, dreadful conditions, severe staffing shortages and the widespread smuggling of drugs and other contraband, some of it facilitated by employees”. At the same time, they say they’ve been subject to nearly perpetual lockdowns and have been barred from leaving their cells for visits, calls, showers or exercise.
Additionally, “perpetual lockdowns” are a commonality, as well as not being allowed to leave their cells for “visits, calls, showers or exercise”. However, easily the most harrowing is the number of suicides and general deaths at the MDC. Cameron Lindsay, a former warden from the detention center, tells TMZ that all of the former, especially the latter, are things Diddy should be extremely wary of. Lindsay says that other inmates see killing certain criminals as a “badge of honor”. The music mogul fits into that mold based on status alone, but also due to the scarring allegations.
Warden Details What Diddy Will Expect At The MDC In Brooklyn
Its why Diddy is currently being housed in the Special Housing Unit of the MDC. It’s a sector that keeps people like Diddy away from general prison mates. Lindsay also reveals that he won’t have a lot of access overall. That means one hour of rec time, three shows per week, three 1,800 calorie meals of varying freshness, and more. Furthermore, family and friends will have less time to see Diddy in comparison to his legal team. There’s also a commissary with available goods such as food, clothing, and some technology. Overall, the embattled star is going to have rough living conditions, to say the least.
What are your thoughts on this former warden detailing how much Diddy’s life is at risk at the MDC? Do you think he will avoid prison time with his latest bail package? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Diddy. Although she wants to be respected as an artist, Chrisean Rock may be more well-known for her relationship with Blueface and court cases. She emerged on Blueface’s reality show, which pitted young women against one another in the boxing ring. Chrisean’s tenacity and disturbing dedication to Blueface set her apart, and soon, she was known across social media platforms after losing a tooth during a match. Rock’s hot-headed attitude, willingness to fight anyone who stood in her way, and adoration for Blueface captivated audiences and online commentators. Soon, Blueface put her in the studio, and she had a viral hit on her hands with “Vibe.”
The track helped establish Chrisean as an artist as she performed at small events nationwide. However, her introductory moments in the spotlight were shadowed by ongoing controversies, including public displays of domestic abuse, arrests, fights with relatives, explosive social media moments, allegations of partying during her pregnancy, and now, a jail sentence and extradition. In her college years, Chrisean Rock was a young lady full of promise who some believed would pursue a sports career. Obviously, her life’s path headed in another direction once connecting with Blueface, and she’s facing several legal issues that could set her back even further.
Chrisean’s Courthouse Arrest
As Blueface faced a court case of his own that resulted in a four-year sentence, Chrisean wanted to support the father of her 11-month-old son. In June 2024, Blueface was in court for his probation violation charges related to a Las Vegas shooting, and Chrisean was at the San Fernando Valley courthouse to be by his side. However, she found herself in cuffs after authorities arrested her concerning a fugitive warrant related to a case out of Oklahoma and an assault case involving Tamar Braxton’s associate, James Wright.
Meanwhile, Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, called Rock’s arrest a “low blow” and “bad timing.” She also publicly reached out to Kim Kardashian on social media, hoping that the mogul would use her legal connections to help with the case. “That wasn’t the time,” Saffold told TMZ of Rock’s arrest. “She had her kid and she was there supporting my son, so I don’t agree with it.”
The Assault Case
About the assault charge, an altercation occurred in November 2023 when Wright and Rock engaged in a scuffle following a performance in Los Angeles at the Novo. Wright later sued Rock, accusing her of repeatedly striking him so hard that her rings, compared to brass knuckles, broke two teeth and cut his face. According to Vibe, Le Troy Davis from Braxton’s entourage said the rapper showed up to the Novo “drunk, with 1,000 people, smelling like weed.” Rock gave birth to her son, Chrisean Malone Jr., in September 2023, months before the incident.
Braxton was performing at the Novo, where Rock made an appearance. According to reports, the Baddies star became upset after she wasn’t allowed to take to the stage to perform one of her songs. Things became heated backstage, where Rock and Wright engaged in a war of words. However, things became physical, and Wright was left with injuries. He would expound on the night in a video. “Everybody wanna tell stories and tell they versions… I was an innocent bystander,” Wright shared, per Vibe. “You know, you still gotta keep joy and stuff… I don’t know what be wrong with people.” He added, “Y’all should see my f*cking face.”
Further, Tamar Braxton also commented on the altercation. She said she looked at Rock like a younger sister who she wanted to help, particularly because they were both from Maryland. Braxton also confirmed that Rock assaulted Wright after the rapper was upset she was invited to the stage to dance but not to perform. Initially, Rock blamed “false narratives” for the controversy, but a judge thought otherwise. She entered a plea of no contest and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and one year of probation. The reality star also must stay 100 yards from the Novo and Wright. Because she and Blueface were in jail at the same time, their son was put in the care of friends and relatives. Upon her release, she was extradited to Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Case
In Fall of 2020, Blueface and Chrisean Rock were back in the headlines following a strange report about her driving cross country. According to the California rapper and his team, his girlfriend allegedly broke into his home, stole his car, and attempted to drive back to her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. Yet, she was stopped by police in Oklahoma, where she was said to have been found with drugs in the vehicle. Blue’s manager, Wack 100, issued a scathing reaction to the news and offered insight into the shocking incident.
“This Bozo deserves all that she has coming to her !” Wack wrote on social media. “Broke in the house again stole thousands stole the G Waggon as we found out not knowing it was her 1700 miles away got caught. I have no remorse for this BOZO. Now I gotta go get the car out the impound and pay another 5,000 for a transport service to bring it back ! If it was you how would you see it !!! And it looks like she was moving work from the charges ! Smh.”
Then, in 2023, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections shared a wanted flyer online of Rock. It showed she was charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, as well as a failure to display the tax stamp for said drugs. “The charges are for Fugitive from Justice warrant out of Oklahoma,” a police representative stated in an email to Complex. “If they will be extradited it would all depend on the agency who they have a warrant from. I cannot confirm if and when they will be extradited.”
Rock was officially transferred to Oklahoma earlier this month to face a new fight that could land her years behind bars. Back in March 2024, Rock made it clear that she was aware of her warrant, but she didn’t want to turn herself in. With a baby in tow, the first-time mother had concerns about what would happen to her little boy if she was detained. Wack 100 speculated that Rock would eventually be given a lengthy sentence, but he doesn’t expect her to “do some years.” Wack added, “Either way, we’ll see her before Christmas. We’ll see her before the summer’s up. She’ll be alright … She’s in the same situation Blueface is in.”
A Life Full Of Promise As A Track Star
Before her explosive entrance into the entertainment industry, Chrisean was a star on the field. She attended Southern California’s Santa Monica College, where she was hailed as one of the top track stars on the team. These skills even landed her segments on television shows and news programs, highlighting her accomplishments and potential. Her story resonated with many because of her rough upbringing in Baltimore, where she was one of 12 siblings trying to make their way with a father in prison and a mother who struggled with drug addiction.
According to FOX 45 Baltimore, Chrisean became homeless at just nine years old and found shelter with friends and family. She would rotate through these homes every few days, emphasizing the instability of her childhood. However, she found solace in track, connecting with her friends and coaches who acted as her community. “As a young, Black, beautiful woman, I am a survivor,” Chrisean said in 2020. “Since I didn’t have the childhood I should’ve had, then I can have the future that I deserve.”
Isaiah Chance, Sean Gathright, and Alicia Andrews, the three suspects who are facing murder charges for the killing of Foolio, will remain behind bars after a judge denied their attempts at getting out on bond. Prosecutors say the group remains “a danger to the community.” Foolio was shot and killed on June 23 at a hotel parking lot in Tampa, Florida. He had been celebrating his 26th birthday.
“Each of the three defendants played a role in the ambush and brutal murder of Charles Jones,” State Attorney Suzy Lopez said in a statement. “The evidence of this coordinated attack is overwhelming, and our community is safer when they are behind bars. Our prosecutors will continue to build a strong case on the road to a trial that will allow us to bring justice to the victims and their families.”
Chance, Gathright, and Andrews aren’t the only suspects police have arrested in connection to the killing. They also later arrested 30-year-old Rashad Murphy and have a warrant out for 27-year-old Davion Murphy. Authorities have requested that anyone with pertinent information that could help the ongoing investigation come forward. The Tampa Police Department can be reached at 813-231-6130 or Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay at 800-873-TIPS.
Police Make A Fourth Arrest
Prior to his death, Foolio had been staying at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. Several gunmen ambushed him while he was trying to get a room at a nearby Holiday Inn soon afterward. He had posted several times on social media about being in Tampa. Police previously released security camera footage from the attack that quickly went viral on social media for how detailed and clearly it presented the situation. DJ Akademiks described it as the “clearest Surveillance footage I’ve ever seen” in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Be on the lookout for further updates on Foolio on HotNewHipHop.
Chrisean Rock is someone who is consistently in the news. However, it has been a good while since we have heard from her directly. Overall, this is due to the fact that just like her partner Blueface, she is in jail. It is believed that Rock is in jail on drug charges. Moreover, it was reported last weekend that Chrisean could be facing a sentence of 8 years in prison. This would be a lot, and many are wondering what will happen to her child.
The Chrisean and Blueface situation has been a sad one. This has been especially true for months now. However, no one really knows what can be done. After all, they did it to themselves. Well, last night, there was yet another update in the Chrisean Rock situation. This is because a mugshot of the reality star started to make its way online. You can check out this mugshot, in the Instagram post below.
“Im not really with the jail stuff but Her and Blueface really got left back in 2023 and the world is a better place because of it. Argue with the wall,” Soheem Perry wrote on Instagram. “She really could be in the Olympics now. such a talented track star. This is reminder to chose who yall mess with carefully,” said another Neighborhood Talk commenter. Needless to say, people are split on all of this. Some say it was deserved, and others are simply saddened by wasted potential.

A new post on social media has fans buzzing about Pooh Shiesty prison status. Prior to his arrest, Shiesty, real name Lontrell Williams, Jr. was a rising star out of Memphis. He frequently collaborated with Gucci Mane, signing to Gucci’s 1017 Records in 2020. The rapper was found guilty of federal conspiracy in January 2022, following two arrests the year prior in connection to a pair of shootings in Southern Florida. Florida judge Michael K. Moore sentenced him to five years and two months in prison in April of that year.
Rumors briefly went around that Pooh Shiesty was released earlier than expected. The rumors followed a recent Instagram story from his official page. The post in question appeared on the incarcerated rapper’s page on July 30. It simply read, “It ain’t shit to do a hit Im back B*tch!!” with no added context. This caused fans to briefly speculate on the meaning of the post. Some thought that the rapper’s release date from prison had been moved up since he was posting on social media again.
That post was followed by another one, which read, “B*tch ain’t out yet,” contradicting the first one. Fans joked that Pooh Shiesty could be referring to anything when using the word “hit,” from crime to another big song. The post was ambiguous enough to be left up to interpretation. When Shiesty was first charged in 2022, a prison sentence of up to eight years was presented. However, he received less time than receiving additional credit for the time he’d already spent in jail.
Pooh Shiesty is nearly two and a half years into that sentence. If he were to serve the full term, he would not be eligible for release until July 2027 at the latest. The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast interviewed Shiesty from jail in November 2023. They mentioned hearing that he may “be coming out sooner than later.” Shiesty was hopeful. He could potentially receive credit for good behavior, which means that he could be released as early as Fall 2025. During that interview, he also said that he wrote six albums worth of material. Based on his latest posts, he could get the opportunity to share that music soon.
Earlier this week, Blueface was scheduled to appear in court to learn his fate. Unfortunately, however, it looks like the “Thotiana” rapper has to wait a bit longer. According to The Shade Room, his court appearance was delayed, and will now take place on August 6. While this isn’t too far away, the news is certainly disappointing for both him and his fans, as he’s been behind bars for several months. Reportedly, he’ll remain at a California jail for the time being.
Blueface first turned himself in back in January for an alleged probation violation and was later hit with a warrant in Vegas. Earlier this month, he was handed a sentence in that case, which saw him accused of another probation violation. He was sentenced to probation for up to three years, with a suspended prison sentence of two to five years. It was previously reported that the presiding judge is recovering from surgery, which is why his latest hearing got pushed back.
Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold has been hopeful about her son’s return, even telling TMZ recently that she was already planning a welcome home party. The delay might have thrown a wrench in the Aunt-Tea Podcast host’s plans, though she’ll likely be able to celebrate sooner rather than later.
Amid all of this, the mother of Blueface’s youngest child Chrisean Rock is also incarcerated. At the time of writing, it remains unclear when exactly she’ll be released. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail last month and awaited extradition to Oklahoma, where she has a warrant. What do you think of Blueface’s court hearing getting delayed this week? Are you looking forward to the rapper’s possible release? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
