Lil Durk Reportedly Breaks His Silence On Arrest In New Prison Phone Call

Last month, Lil Durk was arrested in Florida and hit with charges of murder-for-hire conspiracy and more. The Chicago rapper remains in custody, and earlier this week, he was transported to a prison in Los Angeles. He pleaded not guilty to his charges and is being held without bond until his trial, which is tentatively scheduled for January 7, 2025. According to ABC7, however, it’s “expected to be postponed.”

Fortunately, it sounds like Lil Durk is doing well despite the circumstances. Recently, one of his associates @900bruhbruh reportedly shared audio of their phone call with him from behind bars. In it, he asks Durk if he needs anything, and is seemingly told that he’s doing fine. He also reportedly denied being in protective custody, adding that he was being treated fairly well by the other inmates. His associate showed his support and called for Durk’s release.

Lil Durk Seems To Be Doing Well Behind Bars

“Just got off the phone with my brudda @lildurk he in good spirits staying positive and fighting to get back home to his kids and family,” 900bruhbruh captioned the post. “We not glorifying negativity, we’re more than just street guys. that’s actually a understatement we’re men of honor & code no matter our financial status..bro hit the Mainline with the rest of our kind…NO PC #FREESMURK #FREETRIGGAROME.” Fans are glad to hear Durk is reportedly in good spirits, and are petitioning for his freedom.

Durk’s arrest took place shortly after five alleged OTF affiliates were taken into custody. Authorities believe they were allegedly hired to carry out the murder of Quando Rondo in retaliation for King Von’s 2020 death. In 2022, Quando and his cousin Lul Pab were targets of a shooting at a Los Angeles gas station. Quando was able to walk away unscathed, but Lul Pab tragically succumbed to his injuries. Prosecutors accuse Durk of “rapping about his revenge” in an indictment unveiled earlier this month.

Blueface Gleefully Watches A Woman Twerk For Him In Leaked Prison Call

Blueface is trying his best to stay positive behind bars, and he was all smiles during a recent call with a female friend that leaked online seemingly thanks to a social media post. In the call itself, the woman twerks for him as he laughs and smiles at the sights, putting up gang signs. We can’t hear anything that they said to each other, as the specific clip below doesn’t have audio available. Still, it seems like this made the California rapper lose his video call privileges at jail… At least, according to his mother Karlissa Saffold. She hopped on her Instagram live to address the situation.

“I was mad I couldn’t cuss him out on FaceTime,” Blueface’s mother shared online. “‘Cause my homeboy at work up at that jail said that he was already doing some… Never mind. He was acting freaky on the FaceTime. He lost the FaceTime privileges already.” Elsewhere, though, Karlissa Saffold is trying to stay more positive and engage in more forgiveness. She recently apologized to Chrisean Rock for criticizing her for celebrating her son with Blue’s birthday on Jaidyn Alexis’ birthday, as well.

Blueface Allegedly Loses Video Call Privileges Due To Twerk Session

“After a long night of thought prayer and soul searching you guys are very right,” Blueface’s mother expressed on social media. “She should be able to post and enjoy her child every day of the year especially after missing his first birthday. I really don’t know what got into me. Happy birthday to them both and may God bless them with many more [kiss emoji].” We’ll see whether or not this healing and reconciliation continues into the future. After all, this whole saga is as volatile as it is rapid, so we can never count another flare-up out of the question.

Meanwhile, Blueface recently moved to another prison, and we’re sure we will get more updates on his status and happenings as he continues to serve his sentence. Chrisean Rock Gives Heartfelt Message To Fans During Jail Call: Watch

Chrisean Rock has had a difficult 2024. The rapper was arrested after attending a court hearing for Blueface in June, and subsequently jailed. Rock was originally given four years parole for drug charges in Oklahoma, but a 2023 altercation with James Wright led to a warrant being issued. The rapper is facing eight years in prison if she’s convicted. That being said, Chrisean Rock is keeping a positive outlook. The rapper recently made a jail call in which she addressed her fans directly. She vows to be a “better Rock” moving forward.

Chrisean Rock seemed to be in good spirits during the start of the call. She told her fans not to be sad, and assured them that everything was going to work out. The rapper admitted that she was frightened by the ordeal at first, but is now viewing it as an opportunity to improve. “I’m using this time to heal,” she asserted. “Healing from a lot of sh*t. A lot of stuff I be telling y’all, but I don’t be telling y’all everything.” Chrisean Rock then vowed to be a better version of herself whenever she does get out. “I’ma be out and I’ma be better,” she explained. “I can’t wait to drop my song for y’all. I can’t wait to be a better Rock.”

Chrisean Rock Vows To Improve During Her Jail Stay

Wack 100 spoke on Chrisean Rock’s arrest back in June. The music executive claimed that he was optimistic about her chances of being freed. “The judge might give her a little time: months, couple of months, whatever they do,” Wack 100 posited. “Either way, we’ll see her before Christmas. We’ll see her before the summer’s up. She’ll be alright. She’s in the same situation Blueface is in.”

Chrisean Rock is similarly adamant about doing what’s necessary in order to return to her child. During an Instagram Live in March, the rapper reflected on her legal troubles and her fear of not being present to raise her son. “Right now I gotta play it cautious because I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing,” the rapper noted. “I just don’t plan on that at all. So, I’m doing every way possible to get that figured out without even trying to serve time. And it’s working out for me. So, I’ma work on my little situations and stuff.”

“Given that the vocals were recorded through a jail phone, the sound quality is actually impressive. Tory Lanez really made it work under those conditions,” one X user notes. “Tory Lanez really got some cr*zy quality on this song. You dead can’t even tell he did this over a prison phone,” another says. Lanez did appear confident in his ability to emulate the same quality he was achieving when he was out when he announced the project earlier this week. Nonetheless, fans are amazed.

“After about 20-something to 30-something f*ck-ups and mistakes, me and my engineer have finally figured out how to record music over the jail phone and still keep the quality as professional as I had it on the street,” he declared at the time. “It’s over. I done cracked the f*cking code, man. This means that not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. Blueface and Chrisean Rock have certainly had their issues since getting together. Overall, their relationship has been filled with turmoil. However, they continue to end up with one another, which has always left the fans concerned. When Chrisean Rock had her child with Blue, the two were not on good terms. For the most part, Chrisean kept her child from Blueface and the rest of his family. That all changed when Blue went to jail. Since that time, the two have reconciled and are seemingly back together.

Recently, we reported that the two were having some issues. Much of it had to do with Chrisean going out for her birthday. Blueface was upset, claiming that she should have been home with the child. Blueface Calls Chrisean Rock His “Wife” While She Refers To Him As “Daddy” On Jail Call, Karlissa Saffold Dumbfounded

It has been about almost two months since Blueface’s most recent arrest. Multiple reports said that it was a byproduct of Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock causing a stir. Them not being able to come forward about the things they did got their man put in jail. Those were the paraphrased words of the California rapper’s mother, Karlissa Saffold. She has always had the staunch opinion that none of them deserve to be with her son. Her stance continues to grow stronger, after Blueface’s recent jail call.

In the audio clips below, Blueface requests that a close friend of his to call Chrisean Rock. However, he does not refer to her as that. He asks to speak to his “wife.” In the ensuing audio Rock continuously addresses him as “daddy” throughout Blueface’s jail call and how much she was waiting for his phone call. This eventually got around quick enough for Karlissa to react with another “I told you so” tone.

In the final clip, she calls out her son for calling her “wife” when he “won’t even the let the baby call you daddy.” Additionally, Karlissa says that Blueface should take ownership of the child and then “maybe we will believe some of this s***.” In the end, she says that is just “another promotion for the circus” and that it is “a hot f*****g mess.” Fans were in agreeance but still have trepidations about how many times she has been right. Young Thug Allegedly Tells Lil Durk & Lil Baby To Respond To Gunna On “Business Is Business” In Leaked Call

While Gunna attempts to save face in the rap game, Young Thug seemingly confirmed his feelings towards his former friend. With the release of Business Is Business this morning, YouTuber Ceddy Nash released alleged audio of Young Thug on the phone with Lil Baby and Lil Durk. In the two separate calls, a voice identified as Thug’s tells both of them to save any responses they have for Gunna for his new album. However, it should be noted that neither Baby or Durk appear on the final tracklist for Business Is Business.

The first call that surfaced was the one addressing Lil Baby, who he refers to as Wham. “Yo, aye Wham, if you thinkin’ about responding to the little sh*t that buddy put out, I want you to respond on my album. I’m droppin’ this spontaneous album on the same day he drops his album. I’m going to name this sh*t Business Is Business,” Thug allegedly says on the call. You could hardly hear Lil Baby but this call seemingly confirms the Thugger’s true feelings towards his former co-defendant. At the same time, Baby faced accusations of shading Gunna on a new song snippet that surfaced earlier this week.

Young Thug Calls Lil Durk & Lil Baby

In another call that surfaced afterward, Thug allegedly calls up Lil Durk to inform him to save any disses towards Gunna for his new album. “Aye Durk, I’m dropping this surprise album on the same day buddy drops his album. That shit coming up soon. I need a verse from you. If you feel like you want to reply to what that n***a sayin’ of something, man, don’t do it. Drop it on my album. I’m droppin’ an album the same day that f*ck n***a drop. Send your verse in. I want you and Wham on the same song,” Thug says. 

Although Business Is Business didn’t actually drop on the same day as Gunna’s A Gift & A Curse, Young Thug did launch the countdown for the project last Friday (June 16). Fans didn’t necessarily know if it was an album or a single but he received loads of support throughout the industry from artists like 21 Savage and Drake. Even Gunna reposted the countdown to his Instagram Story. However, it’s clear that whatever love he has for Thug is a one-way street.

Business Is Business

Lil Durk and Lil Baby do not appear on the project, although it’s possible the collaboration could be reserved for a deluxe edition, if anything. However, Business Is Business is stacked with features. Drake, 21 Savage, and Travis Scott appear multiple times while Future, Lil GotIt, Lil Uzi Vert, and Nate Ruess also appear across the tracklist.
