Lil Nas X’s “J Christ” Receives Church Of Satan’s Stamp Of Approval

Lil Nas X may not have won over Christians with his new single “J Christ,” but it looks like he at least got a stamp of approval from the Church of Satan. Amid the onslaught of backlash the hitmaker has received for his new religious era, TMZ chatted with the leader of the organization, magister David Harris. According to him, the track and its accompanying music video are nothing short of “fantastic.”

Harris also says that despite Lil Nas X comparing himself to Jesus in the song, his trajectory lines up pretty well with the church’s belief in “lesser” magic, or influence on others. He also clarified a few misconceptions about the Church of Satan, claiming that instead of actually worshipping the devil, it encourages its members to simply be themselves.

Lil Nas X Wins Over Satanists With New Single

While magister David Harris appears to be a fan, many others have made their disapproval known following the release. Conservatives have accused the performer of mocking Christianity, disrespecting God, and of course, being a Satanist. Obviously, this latest development probably won’t help with the accusations. Lil Nas X insists they’re not true, however, firing back on Twitter last week.

“I’ve crossed satan up and broke his ankles, snapped his neck and literally killed him, made a song referencing the return of jesus, and somehow yall still think im a satanist,” the artist responded to a user accusing him of being a Satanist. “I can not win lmaooo.” Regardless, it doesn’t look like he’s letting the backlash get him down, and says that he currently has an entire gospel album in the works. What do you think of the Church of Satan showing love to Lil Nas X’s new single? What about the backlash he’s been receiving as of late? Are you a fan of the track? Jess Hilarious Clowns Kai Cenat For Lil Nas X “J Christ” Criticism

Lil Nas X has been met with an outpouring of backlash in recent weeks, with countless critics taking aim at the hitmaker amid his new “Christian Era.” He’s been using religious imagery, unveiled a single called “J CHRIST,” and even announced fake plans to attend a Christian University. Critics are accusing him of disrespecting religion, with some going so far as to dub him a “Satanist.”

Despite the tremendous amount of heat coming his way, Lil Nas X maintains that his intention isn’t to disrespect anyone. Regardless, disgruntled fans and peers continue to voice their opinions, with streamer Kai Cenat even chiming in recently.

Jess Hilarious Sides With Kai Cenat Amid Lil Nas X Controversy

During a recent stream, he put Lil Nas X on blast, claiming that he’s “mocking” God. He made his disapproval extremely apparent, claiming to “hate” the performer and telling him to “eat [his] whole d*ck.” While some thought his reaction was a bit much, others agreed with him, including Jess Hilarious. The comedian took to her Instagram Story recently to let Cenat know she’s on his side, sharing an article about his extreme response to Lil Nas X’s single. She couldn’t help but clown the 22-year-old a little in her caption, however.

“I’m witchu KAI,” she declared. “But you can’t tell a gay n***a to eat ya d*ck bro.” Clearly, Jess isn’t a fan of Lil Nas X’s latest pivot either, but thinks the internet personality should choose his words a bit more wisely next time. What do you think of all the pushback Lil Nas X is getting for his new single? What about Jess Hilarious agreeing with Kai Cenat’s take on it? Boosie BadAzz Calls Out Lil Nas X Over New Single, “J Christ”

Boosie BadAzz called out Lil Nas X on Twitter, Friday, for the rapper’s controversial new single, “J Christ.” In doing so, Boosie labeled the music video for the song “disrespectful.” The piece features various biblical scenes including a crucifixion and more. At one point, Nas crosses up Satan on a basketball court.

“THIS ‘Whatever’ IS SO DISRESPECTFUL ITS SAD SMH,” Boosie captioned the post. Nas previously addressed the backlash to his Chirstian turn in a post on social media in November. “Y’all see everything i do as a gimmick,” he wrote at the time. “When in reality im just an artist expressing myself in different ways. whether im a cowboy, gay, satanic, or now christian y’all find a problem! y’all don’t police nobody else art like mine. y’all hate me because im fun cute and petite.”

That’s what you gotta accept,” he said while filming himself in a restaurant. “I done been in a car that, whole car got shot up. Bullets all through the side of my window, by my face. Didn’t get touched. A whole car shot up, and not one bullet touched me. Twice, matter of fact.” Check out Boosie’s message for Lil Nas X below.

Lil Nas X Grows Frustrated Amid Satanist Accusations: “I Can Not Win”

Lil Nas X has certainly kicked off his latest career pivot with a bang, but unfortunately, not everybody is here for his “Christian era.” The hitmaker recently unveiled his new track “J CHRIST” following a few weeks of teasing and a tremendous amount of backlash. He first announced his “return to God” earlier this month, also suggesting that the “music industry tried to make [him] satanic.”

Famously, the Georgia-born performer gave the devil a lap dance in the music video for his 2021 hit, “Montero.” After that, he sparked controversy by releasing a pair of “Satan Shoes.” The shoes, which each contained a drop of human blood, were released later that year. Needless to say, his current journey took fans and critics alike by surprise, and they’ve made their opinions known.

Lil Nas X Responds To Criticism

He’s since been accused of mocking Christianity, “disrespecting God himself,” and even being a Satanist. The chatter has left him fed up, as he feels that there’s nothing he can do to change critics’ minds. He recently took to Twitter to air his frustrations, responding to a user comparing him to Andrew Tate. “Men like Tate are shunned and silenced,” they wrote, “While boys like Lil Nas X are celebrated as IDOLS. The spotlight is reserved for SATANISTS who’ve sold their souls for money.”

“I’ve crossed satan up and broke his ankles, snapped his neck and literally killed him, made a song referencing the return of jesus, and somehow yall still think im a satanist,” the artist responded, “I can not win lmaooo.” Spotify even recently threw a bit of shade his way, calling his new single “mid.” He didn’t hesitate to clap back, however, replying with the viral clip of a Nevada judge being attacked by an inmate.

Lil Nas X Is Going “Vi-iral” With “J CHRIST” Single & Music Video

Lil Nas X, whether you love him or despise him, knows how to stir up chatter. In addition to that, he is someone you can bet the house on to create a worldwide banger. He accomplished both of those things with his latest single, “J CHRIST.” This track comes off the heels of tons of controversy.

From Kai Cenat calling him out during a recent live stream, to Nas X forging a former Liberty University President’s signature, he has everyone up in arms. The reasoning for this “Christian awakening” was because of some comments he made last year. On his social media accounts, he has been hyping up this as a dedication to Jesus Christ. “MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!”

Listen To “J CHRIST” By Lil Nas X

There is a slight reference to the man above. “Back-back-back up out the gravesite / B****, I’m back like J Christ.” But, that is as far as Nas X takes it with gospel inspiration. However, there is an underlying theme about Jesus rising from the dead after he died on the cross. He is essentially comparing his return to music in that way. Nas X felt like he was “blackballed” throughout 2023 for speaking on his holy journey. The music video is racking up the views, which is no surprise. In its first 10 hours, the song has been played over 1.3 million times.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “J CHRIST,” by Lil Nas X? Is this the best single he has ever put out, why or why not? When do you think he will come out with his next album? How do you feel about the visuals that accompany the track? What is the best aspect of the song? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Lil Nas X Got Wind Of Spotify’s Sassy Response To His ‘J Christ’ Single, And His Clapback Was Biblical

Even Lil Nas X’s commitment to his “Christian era” couldn’t wash him of his former troll ways. But his recent online post might’ve been justified. As the rapper claims to be studying theology (but probably isn’t), he’s already begun to implement one Christ-like principle, and streaming giant Spotify learned this the hard way.

On January 12, the platform took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to shade Lil Nas X’s new single, “J Christ.” “LNX is back with more mid-music [shrugging emoji],” read the note about the track. Well, Lil Nas X got wind of the diss and decided to embody the Biblical lesson, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Lil Nas X leapt into troll mode without missing a beat, replying to their message with one of his own. Using the viral clip from when an inmate attacked a Nevada judge, Lil Nas X wrote: “Me at the Spotify headquarters tomorrow.”

Some of his followers pointed out that the online exchange was probably something both Spotify and Nas were in on (the streaming platform typically doesn’t launch unsolicited social media attacks on popular artists), and it was likely just part of the single rollout. “Lol, people thinking this Spotify tweet wasn’t planned [crying laughing emoji],” wrote one user.

Others (like most people on the internet) just sat back and enjoyed the messy interaction. Given Lil Nas X’s history of outrage marketing, whether it was staged or not, this is all a win in his eyes.

Lil Nas X Unveils Solo Directorial Debut with “J CHRIST”

Lil Nas X Stretched on Cross on Artwork for New Single 'J Christ'

Multi-platinum artist Lil Nas X has officially marked the dawn of his next era with the release of his first single in two years, “J CHRIST,” out today via Columbia Records.

Co-written by Lil Nas X himself alongside Omer Fedi, Mike Levy (Gesaffelstein), and Blake Slatkin, the song showcases a blend of creativity with production by Fedi, Gesaffelstein, and Lil Nas X.

Accompanying the single is the release of the official video, which not only serves as Lil Nas X’s solo directorial debut but follows a story he crafted. The “J CHRIST” visual is a gleefully subversive journey, featuring Lil Nas X conquering both heaven’s gates and hell’s fires. The video was shot in Mexico City.

As he asserts his faith and sails through a flooded rapture, Lil Nas X proudly declares his chosen direction: “THIS WAY.” The artist is forging a new path, expressing his spirituality uniquely, and signaling a fresh beginning in his musical journey. DAY ZERO of this next chapter has arrived, showcasing Lil Nas X’s evolution and commitment to authenticity in his artistry.

Lil Nas X Makes A Divine, Miraculous Comeback In His New Video For ‘J Christ’

At long last, Lil Nas X is back. With his first new solo single in two years, the rapper, pop star, and provocateur is entering his “Christian era” with his new single, “J Christ.”

On his new single, Lil Nas X declares that while he’s been away for a minute, he’s loud and proud this era, not minimizing himself for anybody.

B*tch, I’m back like J Christ / I’m finna get the gays hyped / I’m finna take it yea high / Back up out the gravesite / B*tch, I’m back like J Christ,” he raps on one of the song’s verses.

In the song’s accompanying video, Lil Nas X is joined by several A-list lookalikes, including counterparts of Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and more. He delivers a killer dance routine choreographed by Sean Bankhead as he makes an exit from hell, plays a heavenly basketball game, slays on the Met Gala carpet, and makes an epic resurgence.

Toward the end of the video, a screen reads “Day Zero: A New Beginning,” which looks like it may be the name of the upcoming album.

We’ll probably have to wait a bit for more album details, but in the meantime, the video makes for an epic reintroduction to our favorite troll.

Will Lil Nas X Study Biblical Studies At Liberty University?

Sin Lil Nas X usually talks with his tongue in his cheek, it might be hard for some to understand when the rapper is joking and when he’s being genuine. For instance, yesterday (January 9), he shared what appeared to be a letter from Liberty University, accepting him into their Biblical Studies program. But, is that actually true?

Will Lil Nas X study Biblical Studies at Liberty University?

It doesn’t look likely, no.

Since that tweet was shared on X (formerly Twitter), a community note about who signed the supposed letter has been added, which reads, “This is an altered image. Jerry Falwell, the former president of Liberty University, passed away in 2007. The current President of Liberty University is Dondi E. Costin.” The note also links to an official page from Liberty that confirms Falwell’s passing.

Furthermore, Jerry Falwell Jr., who took over as the university’s president after his father’s passing, addressed Nas’s tweet, writing on X, “This is the real Jerry Falwell, Pres of Liberty University 2007-2020, and that is my signature. I know this is a joke but I wouldn’t have hesitated to sign that letter for you to enroll. Don’t believe all the lies that have been told the last 3 yrs! No judgment at LU, only grace!”

So, the letter was fabricated, and Nas likely won’t be studying at Liberty University any time soon.

Lil Nas X Got Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, And Kanye West (Impersonators, That Is) For His ‘J Christ’ Video, A New Teaser Shows

Lil Nas X has been active in the lead-up to his new single “J Christ,” whether he’s maybe (but maybe not) enrolling in a Biblical studies program, showing off some genuine gospel music, or re-creating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. His “J Christ” video is set to drop this Friday, but ahead of then, he has again indulged in attention-grabbing antics with a new video teaser.

The 20-second video shows a long line of people in white robes, walking through a field, which looks like the iconic Windows XP wallpaper, and up a literal stairway to Heaven. In that line are a bunch of celebrity impersonators, of Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, and Barack Obama, as well as a couple who aren’t quite as perfect a visual match but who appear to represent Ed Sheeran and Oprah Winfrey.

Ever since he first burst onto the scene with “Old Town Road,” Nas has proven that he’s a viral marketing master, and this whole “J Christ” rollout is just another shining example of that.

In response to backlash over his crucifixion image, Nas wrote, “the crazy thing is nowhere in the picture is a mockery of jesus. Jesus’s image is used throughout history in people’s art all over the world. I’m not making fun of sh*t. yall just gotta stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born. stfu.”
