Drake Pays For Fan’s Flight Back To Japan, Announces “For All The Dogs” Delay

It’s been a mixed day of stories for Drake fans. First up is a heartwarming story out of Dallas. During the It’s All a Blur concert in the city, Drake spotted a fan holding a up a sign that claimed they had flown all the way from Japan to see the tour. “You came here from Japan for the show? You know what … we flyin’ you home first class back to Japan. We love y’all. I’ve never been to Japan, but you came to me. So that’s love. That’s what life is about. You got to show love,” Drake told the fan.

The story was relayed to the rest of the world by awe-struck fans on Twitter. “There was a couple that flew to my show from Japan. Drake saw their sign and is flying them home first class. He said he’s never been to Japan and it meant a lot that they spent their hard earned money to fly across the world for him,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. However, the other recent Drake story will be less exciting for fans.

Drake Delays For All The Dogs Until October

According to an Instagram post from Drizzy himself, fans will have to wait a while longer for For All The Dogs. “Okay my dilemma I am faced with is I either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show. I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date we will be spinning back for sure. For All The Dogs October 6th. It’s only right…,” Drake wrote on Instagram. October 6 is the date of his first show in Toronto, the third-from-last show of the tour.

Unfortunately, that means that 21 Savage will not be present for the launch concert, or the next-day concert. Due to visa issues, Savage is not allowed to leave the United States. This means he has been unable to attend the various Canadian shows on the tour. It’s All a Blur ends in Columbus on October 9. Are you willing to wait until October 6 for For All The Dogs? How are you feeling about the album in general? Let us know in the comments below.

Drake Links Up With Corinna Kopf

Drake is coming to the end of his It’s All a Blur tour. However, there is still plenty of time for him to post up with celebrities of various levels of fame. A recent Instagram post shows that one of the latest famous faces to do this is content creator Corinna Kopf. Kopf was originally part of Tana Mongeau’s crew but has found her own niche, primarily on Instagram. She has 7 million followers on the platform. She also has over 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube. However, she has not uploaded to the platform in over three years.

Obviously, she has still has enough pull to go backstage to hang out with Drake. However, she is far from the most famous face that he has linked up with on the tour. Many people in the comments of the reposted images of her story highlight this. More than a few commenters are questioning just exactly who Corinna Kopf is and how she is able to snag a backstage photo with Drake.

Odell Beckham Jr. Clarifies 2016 Drake Comments

Someone else talking about Drake is his close friend, Odell Beckham Jr. “Well, I think people have a misunderstanding of that. He was actually on tour and I was living there. Everyone was like, ‘Oh, they’re roommates!’ That wasn’t really it,” Beckham Jr. told GQ this week. Previously, the Ravens receiver had spoken on living at Drake’s Calabasas mansion during the 2016 offseason.

However, Beckham Jr. did speak on his long-standing friendship with Drake and how he spent some time linking up with the rapper around Europe. “I actually stayed in London [once] for two or three months with Von Miller. This was back when Drake was on tour, so our home base was London for a little bit of time. It was our offseason, so we went to Norway, Stockholm, Amsterdam, but London was the home base. That was my favorite hotel, actually. The Rosewood, they always take care of me.”

Derrick Rose Caught Playing Chess At Drake Concert

It appears that Derrick Rose isn’t much of a fan. While the newly acquired Memphis Grizzlies player was in attendance at the It’s All a Blur stop in Glendale, Rose wasn’t all that interested in the music. Footage from Instagram and shared elsewhere online shows Rose playing chess on his phone for the duration of the concert. The video was posted by Rose’s wife Alaina and includes the caption “When I make my husband come outside” followed by several crying face emojis.

The video is still circulating. However, we will likely get a reaction from Drake and others in the next couple of hours. Meanwhile, the It’s All a Blur tour is slowly but surely coming to an end. The next stop is in Denver on September 8. Furthermore, at the time of writing, the tour is set to run through the rest of the month and into October. The final tour stop will be a scheduled concert in Columbus. Originally, the tour was meant to end in Drake’s hometown of Toronto.

Drake Names His Favorite Rapper To Perform With

While Rose might not appreciate Drake, Drake certainly appreciates Rick Ross. He revealed that Ross was his favorite rapper to perform with during a recent show in Vegas. “I was shooting a music video with my favorite rapper to rap with,” Drake began while performing in Vegas. By the way, I got a lot of respect for a lot of rappers. But I got one guy, he’s my favorite to rap with on any song. His name is Rick Ross. That’s my brother. And we were in the Palms Hotel overlooking Vegas and I was saying I wonder if I’m ever going to be big enough to play these huge arenas that I was looking down on. And hey, here we are.”

Over the years, Drake and Ross have collabed on 14 songs. The first of these was the 2009 DJ Khaled track “Fed Up”, on which both Drake and Ross featured. A year later, Ross featured Drake on “Aston Martin Music”. Most of their collabs have been Drake features on Ross-led songs. However, Ross also have a few features on Drake tracks as well. 2019’s “Money in the Grave” peaked at #7. Their only collab to chart higher than that is 2021’s “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”, which hit #3.

Drake Rounded Up All The Bras That Have Been Thrown At Him On Tour (Of Which There Are Many) For An Impressive Photo

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Drake and 21 Savage’s It’s All A Blur tour hasn’t been the music, the production, or anything performance-related like that, but the bras. A lot of brassieres have been thrown Drake’s way during the trek, and now he’s rounded them all up for a fun photo.

In the photo shared earlier today (September 6), Drake smiles with his arm spread wide. Behind him is a grid of bras, presumably all the ones that have been thrown at him on tour. Doing some quick math based on what can be seen in the photo, it appears Drake is posing with at least 600 bras.

Drake captioned the post, “Remember when we both forgot who the f*ck I was in unison…that wavelength was def a foolish one.”

On his Instagram Story, Drake also shared a video of a couple of workers unloading all the bras from the bin onto the floor, in preparation for the photo.

Some of the bras Drake has received have left him notably impressed. After seeing one, he exclaimed, “36G?! Locate this woman immediately.” In response to another bra, he said, “This is your mother’s bra that you brought to the show? Where is your mama at? You gotta send her my love. And by the way, you gotta send her my love, and you gotta tell her to get Instagram ASAP.”

Drake Smiles Like A Kid In A Candy Shop Amidst His Army Of Colorful Bras

Drake has been enjoying himself quite a bit on tour with 21 Savage. The It’s All A Blur tour has taken him throughout all of North America and then some. Although the tour still isn’t over, there is no doubt that the artist has had some amazing experiences thus far. Moreover, he has been keeping especially busy as he looks to prep for the release of For All The Dogs. Needless to say, it is a very good time for Drizzy, who will likely end up with the number-one album once he drops.

If you have been paying attention to this tour, then you know that Drake has been making a big deal about receiving bras from fans. Typically, he will read out the sizes of the bras on stage. Subsequently, this has led to a competition amongst his female fans. Overall, it has been wild to witness, and there is no doubt that he has amassed a huge collection. In fact, Drake flexed that collection on Instagram early this morning.

With many more dates on the horizon, it is clear that the collection is just going to keep on growing. The Canadian megastar captioned the post: “Remember when we both forgot who the fuck I was in unison…that wavelength was def a foolish one.”

In terms of his new album For All The Dogs, a recent social media post seems to hint at a September 22nd release date. However, there is no telling if that will stick. Here Are All The Special Closing Songs From Drake’s ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’

Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour is wrapping up soon, as he enters the final third of the tour this month. Over the course of the past two months, which have reportedly been super lucrative for the Toronto native, he’s embraced a string of running gags like receiving a bra onstage on a near-nightly basis, having hilarious and heartfelt interactions with fans, and bringing out guest stars like J. Cole and Travis Scott.

Another tradition, per the fan account WordOnRd, has been Drake ending the show on a different song each night. The results have been varied; while they’ve been fan favorites, there are also plenty he hasn’t played in years, so there’s now a running joke that he never remembers the lyrics. Like most jokes about Drake, he isn’t taking it too seriously, joining in making fun of himself on August 23 in LA. Here are all the special closing songs so far:

In Philadelphia on August 1, he performed “Teenage Fever” from his 2017 mixtape More Life.

https://twitter.com/WordOnRd/status/1686475768296038400?s=20 (“Teenage Fever” was Philly 8/1)

In Milwaukee on August 4, he gave fans a rendition of the Nothing Was The Same favorite “Connect.”

In Inglewood on August 12, he played “Come Thru” from Nothing Was The Same.

Drake Reveals Who His Favorite Rapper To Perform With Is

Drake has collabed with a lot of people. It’s only inevitable given how long and storied his career is at this point. However, who is this favorite rapper to perform alongside? Drake answered that question during a recent show on the It’s All a Blur tour. “I was shooting a music video with my favorite rapper to rap with,” Drake began while performing in Vegas. By the way, I got a lot of respect for a lot of rappers. But I got one guy, he’s my favorite to rap with on any song. His name is Rick Ross. That’s my brother. Drake Album Hype Grows

Speaking on collabing with Drake, one person is very excited for his upcoming album, For All The Dogs. During a live stream, Nicki begged Drake to drop For All The Dogs, the album on which she has a feature. “Drake, I’m not going to tell you one more time. The Barbz want the album! He can be Champagne Papi, I don’t care, Papi, The Barbz want the album.”

Fans were disappointed when the new project didn’t drop late last month. In fact, backlash was significant enough that Drizzy had to address during his current tour. “I know everybody’s upset because I didn’t drop my album last night,” he told the crowd. “I didn’t say it was dropping last night,” he reminded fans. “So don’t be mad at me. I just said it was coming soon.” No release date for the album has been announced yet. Furthermore, few details have been revealed about Minaj’s track on the album. Additionally, Drake has said that the album will be a return to “old Drake”.

Drake Gifts Fan A Chanel Bag During Vegas Show

After a brief stop in Canada, the It’s All a Blur tour has returned to the United States. As the tour enters its final full month, Drake kicked things off in Sin City. While more highlights of the night are likely to emerge, especially if any bras made it onto the stage. However, the current concert clip doing the rounds shows an act of kindness from the Canadian rapper.

During the concert, Drake paused to gift a fan standing near the stage a gold-colored Chanel bag. It’s unclear what led up to this interaction, which was originally posted to TikTok by the user “laurennoelmiller”. It’s unclear if Miller is the woman receiving the bag in the video. Regardless, it’s a moment that that fan is not going to forget for a long time.

More Drake Shenanigans From It’s All A Blur

Of course, as with every tour stop, there have been plenty of Drake antics as of late. On the more positive end of the spectrum, Drizzy gave away concert tickets from a scavenger hunt on his official website. Fans were encouraged to explore various pages of the website to find parts of a code that led to a chance to win free tickets for the tour. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is seriously ready for For All The Dogs to come out. Minaj reportedly has a feature on the album. According to Drake, the album will be out soon, though he declined to give an actual release date.

However, not all of the viral moments have been as positive. While not directly related to the tour, a snippet from For All The Dogs was released online. In it, Drake can be heard saying “I should probably be in there with Thug and them” on the partially leaked track. The snippet got some pushback from fans, who disliked Drake’s fairly clean persona and career privilege being compared to the very real criminal charges being faced by Young Thug and company in the YSL trial.
