Ciara Updates Fans On Her Weight Loss Goals

Ciara has a particular goal in mind after giving birth to her fourth child: losing some weight, specifically a mission to drop 70 pounds. Of course, this isn’t necessary for her beauty or image, nor should weight be the standard of acceptance or self-worth for anyone, but if you have a goal in mind that you want to achieve for your own satisfaction and personal fulfillment, then who’s to stop you from chasing it? Moreover, the singer gave us an Instagram photo dump on Thursday (April 25), in which she included a snap of a scale that seemed to indicate her weight: 181.4 pounds. Furthermore, this falls in line with a previous post in which she wanted to hold herself to this standard and outlined this goal with her followers.

“Trying to lose 70lbs post baby, prepare for a show and tour while breastfeeding, and running my businesses…” Ciara captioned a post from about two weeks ago. “Shout out to all my mammas out there gettin in, I see you! ToughSh$t. #MambaMentality.” However, we don’t know if this 180-pound weight reflects her weight when she posted this, when she posted the photo dump, or both. As such, maybe the Texas native is farther along on this journey than we know. Either way, the family is undergoing a lot of exciting changes right now, so we’re sure she’s got her head up in any case.

Elsewhere, another superstar recently reflected on a brief, since-resolved, but nonetheless spicy beef that she had with Ciara all the way back in 2011. “Do you miss being on the Internet, like, really on the Internet?” Interview Magazine editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg asked Rihanna, for whom Ottenberg used to be a stylist. “Like, ‘Good luck booking that stage you speak of’ Internet? Because you were so good at it,” Ottenberg remarked, referencing the small spat between the musicians in which the Goodies star claimed she ignored her backstage at an event. “The troll in me, she had a time,” RiRi responded. “Unfortunately, you can’t take anything back from the Internet, so I will always have the reminders, but the best troll in me is the silent troll.”

50 Cent is not letting up. The rapper has been the propagator of the phrase “No Diddy” on social media, as a means of clowning disgraced mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. He’s used it on during interviews and IG captions, but the phrase reached new levels of attention on April 24 when Gucci Mane dropped the song “TakeDat.” Gucci goes at the Bad Boy founder for four minutes straight by saying “No Diddy” after every line, and 50 absolutely loved it. He was such a fan of Gucci’s diss, in fact, that he reposted it on his own Instagram profile with an endorsement.

“Oh sh*t,” 50 wrote in the caption. “Wop took dat hit. This 🥷🏾Diddy POPPED.” Nobody has been more openly critical of Diddy than 50, especially once the criminal allegations started to roll in. He posted pics from the raid on Diddy’s house in March, and even found time to praise a woman holding a “No Diddy” sign during a ceremony in Shreveport. The “21 Questions” rapper added insult to injury by talking to Diddy directly in the caption. “That’s what you get f*cking wit me,” he added. Fans flocked to the comment section, suggesting that 50 hop on the “TakeDat” remix.

50 Cent and Gucci Mane have historically been on the same. 50 supported the Atlanta legend when he dropped a diss track against Jeezy titled “Rumors” in 2022. The track had a bar referencing the “ghost of Pookie,” and 50 hopped on Instagram Live to rap along while doing his best Gucci Mane impression. 50 had previously had beef with Young Jeezy himself, so there was no love lost between rivals. 50 and Gucci, who have often been compared to one another, also collaborated on the 2013 song “Recently.”

The G-Unit mogul is continuing his anti-Diddy campaign behind the scenes. In December, he announced plans to release a documentary focusing on Diddy’s various sexual crimes. “The Diddy documentary is in development through G-Unit Film and Television with 50 serving as executive producer,” a rep said. The proceeds from the documentary will be donated to victims of sexual assault and rape. A release date has not yet been announced.

Usher Claims His Son Stole His Phone To DM PinkPantheress

Usher has a reputation for being a smooth talker. He’s built an entire career on it, from his music to his effortless dance moves onstage. The R&B icon learned that he isn’t the only one in the family who has game, however. He took to Instagram on April 24 to reveal that his son, Naviyd, snatched his phone so that he could slide in the DMs of his current favorite artist: PinkPantheress. The revelation would have been funny on its own, but Usher decided to document the entire incident with screenshots and quotes.

Usher recounted his confusion upon realizing he had a DM interaction with someone he didn’t know. “So, a week or so ago my son, Naviyd, stole my phone so he could dm his favorite artist @pinkpantheress,” he wrote. “Now I just so happened to check my DMs earlier this past week and saw a message exchange from someone with a Powerpuff girl as their profile pic. So I’m like the hell is this.” The R&B singer then realized what had happened when he clicked on the pic. “I open it and I’m like oh this boy done DMd this girl from my damn phone,” he added.

You can scroll through Naviyd’s entire DM conversation below. The highlight is undoubtedly the message where Naviyd, 15, claims to have exposed his dad to Pantheress’ music. “I put him onto masterpieces,” he wrote with a salute emoji.

Usher’s Son Eventually Met PinkPantheress

Usher reached out to PinkPantheress to apologize, but the pop star took it in stride. “Don’t apologize,” she responded. “Happy to have this interaction. I’d love to host y’all at the next show.” Usher pretended that he was going to prevent his son from going to the show “because he did the MOST just to connect with her on my account,” but he relented. Naviyd even got a chance to meet PinkPantheress and take photos with her backstage. The DM long shot worked out!

Usher and PinkPantheress have not officially collaborated on a song, but they’ve been the recipient of several viral mashups on TikTok. The most popular mashup combines Usher’s “Burn” with Pantheress’ single “Just for Me.” Usher has also praised the current generation of R&B stars. “I’m very happy that there’s a new installation of R&B artists who care to be authentic to what they are creating, inspired by artists of the past,” he told Billboard. “Everybody who has ever said to me that R&B is dead sounds crazy.”

Snoop Dogg Learns French In New Teaser For he Paris Olympics

Seemingly everyone loves Snoop Dogg and that doesn’t include just the United States. The rap superstar is so beloved worldwide that he plays a role in a promo for the upcoming Olympics in Paris. He shared the video to Instagram alongside NBC, who will air the competition, a their streaming service Peacock. With the Olympics just a few months away Snoop has to brush up on his French but luckily he has the perfect teacher.

The video is titled “French Lessons With Cordoba” the name of Snoop’s granddaughter. In the adorable promo video she teaches her world famous grandparent a few simple French lessons. The video takes place on an adorable set littered with pink decorations and mini tea party tools. He learns the names of different foods, landmarks, and greetings before turning it around on Cordoba and testing her knowledge. “Paris @nbcolympics is only a few months away yall!! 🇫🇷 So I called my granddaughter Cordoba to help me learn a few words” the caption of the video reads. Much of the recent discussion surrounding Snoop Dogg spawned from Drake’s new Kendrick Lamar diss track “Taylor Made.” On the song he used AI generated vocals of both Snoop and even more controversially of Tupac. After fans digested the new disses that he threw out at Kendrick, they started to process the use of artificially assembled voices of real rappers. Fans of the Griselda trio of Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, and Benny The Butcher hardly ever have to wait long for new music. Already this year, Benny The Butcher dropped his highly anticipated new studio album Everybody Can’t Go. The project was originally intended to drop last year but ended up being delayed until late January. That came just a few weeks after Westside Gunn and Conway dropped Hall & Nash 2, their second collaborative album with producer The Alchemist.

Now fans already know when they’re getting the next taste of Griselda and they won’t have to wait long. Conway The Machine took to Instagram to announce that his next album “SFK” was dropping soon. In fact, it’s just a few weeks away with a scheduled release date of May 10. He also shared the artwork for the album, a pretty simple and crude drawing of an angry face. In the new clips, DaBaby claims that a “well known” and “lyrical” rapper recently gave him a call. He claims that the rapper in question had observed the spike in popularity from Kendrick and J. Cole’s beef and wanted to start a staged beef to capitalize. As one of the hosts mentions, they would be friends in private but beefing in public.

Travis Scott Performs At The New Mercedes-Benz Showcase

Earlier this week, Mercedes Benz held a special event for the unveiling of a new car. The newest in their G-class series continues an investment into the world of electric cars and made a variety of bold promises about its game-changing potential. In order to get as much attention as possible on the announcement, they had a special guest along to perform during the event. Travis Scott was in attendance to unpack some of his UTOPIA songs for those in the crowd.

In a series of videos making the rounds online, Scott injects plenty of life and energy into the show. He surprised everyone in attendance by stepping out of the car already parked on stage. Though he made use of the entire stage for the performance he did eventually return to the car and sit on it during a later song. Scott has kept busy ever since he returned from an extended hiatus following the Astroworld festival tragedy. Travis Scott recently released some new music for his fans but it probably didn’t get the reaction he was expecting. He shared a new remix of “FE!N” which appeared on UTOPIA and originally featured Playboi Carti. The new remix version instead features Chase B and fans weren’t vibing with the change.
