Nicki didn’t make any promises right away, but she did hint that another major artist could also appear on the track.

“No, I just can’t drink [Celsius],” Doja Cat remarked. “I have a really cr*zy Celsius story, I almost got into a beef because of Celsius. I blame this on Celsius, it’s not me! So I was singing a song and doing the voice of somebody else. Like, I filmed myself doing the song in a cr*zy voice, and it was my really bad impression of that person. People took it super wrong. They thought I was trying to cause drama and issues, when really I was just being a f***ing a**hole.” Folks eventually connected the dots and assumed that she could have been referring to a years-ago incident with Cardi B.

Last weekend, a man was arrested in Santa Monica for assaulting a stranger in a park with a tent pole. The man told officials that he was Nia Long’s 23-year-old son, Massai Dorsey II. That was later proven to be false. His name is actually Tamir Rasool Morris, and he has no connection to Long or her son.

It’s unclear why he attempted to pose as Dorsey, but it’s possible that he thought being related to a celebrity would lessen his consequences. Unfortunately for him, that was also proven to be false. On top of assault with a deadly weapon, he was booked for false impersonation. Reportedly, he was able to provide authorities with Dorsey’s correct birthday, but was off by two years. They later took his fingerprints, which revealed his true identity.

Man Poses As Nia Long’s Son During Arrest

Authorities think he managed to get Dorsey’s information from social media, and emphasize that Nia Long’s real son wasn’t at all involved. At the moment, the impersonator is behind bars. As for Long, the mother of two recently reflected on the year she’s had, revealing her biggest regret of 2023. According to her, it was losing out on an opportunity to see Usher perform at his iconic Las Vegas My Way residency. Luckily for her, he plans to make a return in the new year.

“My only regret this year is missing @Usher in Vegas (sad eyes emoji),” she Tweeted last week. Usher responded, telling her, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Vegas on 2/11 (winky face emoji).” While some fans thought he was hinting at an extension of his residency, the date he provided coincides with the Super Bowl. Moreover, a party promoter recently took to Facebook with an indignant post detailing how the Memphis rapper apparently… well, finessed him. Furthermore, he claimed that he paid 2tymes $40,000 for a club appearance, even including receipts of the original payments. However, when it was time for the gathering, allegedly Finesse’s brother was the one who took the stage instead, scamming the promoters and fooling fans. While everyone’s got to make money somehow, it’s always quite harsh when it comes at the expense of others, especially fans.

In fact, a video also surfaced online of Finesse2tymes and the promoter arguing after the incident, with the rapper apparently accusing the promoter of clout chasing. Still, with the “evidence” he provided and other videos of the performance, it’s not looking good for the “Out Of State” MC. While he recently made headlines more for his relationship antics, this could definitely come back to bite him one day. Despite these revelations, we also don’t know 2tymes’ side of the story, so it’s still well within the rumor mill.

Finesse2tymes Allegedly Finessed A Promoter By Sending His Brother Instead

Unfortunately, this isn’t the worst performance-related incident that Finesse2tymes had to face. During a joint concert with GloRilla, a deadly crowd stampede resulted in three deaths and various other injuries. The tragic incident solicited concerned reactions from both MCs in the aftermath. What’s more is that it might also result in legal action from the family of one of the deceased concertgoers. Brandy Miller’s sister Michelle stated to TMZ that they plan to get the right attorney to seek justice for the avoidable tragedy.

“I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf,” GloRilla tweeted in the days after. “Praying everybody is ok. I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show. My fans mean the world to me. Praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected.” On his end, TMZ spoke to Finesse directly. “As far as the situation in New York, condolences to the family and the people who was injured,” he stated. “That’s what I wanted to say.
