Krayzie Bone Reportedly In Critical Condition After Coughing Up Blood

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony member Krayzie is reportedly “fighting for his life” in hospital. Krayzie, whose legal name is Anthony Henderson, was admitted to hospital on Friday after coughing up large amounts of blood. A CAT revealed that there was a leaking artery in one of Henderson’s lungs. However, despite emergency surgery, doctors were unable to staunch the bleeding. Henderson suffers from sarcoidosis, a rare inflammatory disease that causes the organs to become covered in lumpy nodes called granuloma. At the time of writing, Henderson has been sedated and is unable to breathe unassisted. His fellow Bone, Bizzy, simply wrote “Pray 4 Kay” on his Instagram story. Krayzie turned 50 in June.

It’s a tragic turn of events after such a promising year for the Bone Thugs. They had a street named after them in their hometown of Cleveland as part of the ongoing Hip Hop 50 celebrations. “With Hip-Hop, I’ve been blessed to be here. To be here at the beginning, to watch and see every phase that it’s went through, I’m excited to see what the next 50 years is going to bring. Hip-Hop is definitely here to stay as a music genre, but it’s still so young. I just want to see Hip-Hop mature and be more kind and respectful to the artists that carry this genre. I want to see a balance between artists and corporations. It’s still young, but it needs to mature a lot. We need to realize and understand how to treat all legends like other genres of music,” Krayzie told AllHipHop.

Krayzie Bone Sees The Funny Side Of Stolen Street Sign

Back in August, someone stole the aforementioned street sign the group had been honored with in Cleveland. “That’s Cleveland. They put up three signs up—one at both ends of the street and one in the middle of the street. I guess someone stole the one in the middle, thinking it wouldn’t be noticed, but left the other two. It’s all good though, no worries. All love,” Krayzie told AllHipHop at the time.

A month before that, Krayzie had hinted at the Bone Thugs appearing on Tiny Desk, NPR’s long-running concert series. “I’m working on that,” Krayzie told a fan on X, formerly Twitter when asked about linking up with the prestigious news organization. Krayzie’s hospitalization remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

Coco Jones And Justin Timberlake Grapple With Mixed Emotions On Their ‘ICU Remix’

Last fall, multihyphenate Coco Jones released “ICU,” which proved to be a breakthrough song for her. On the song, she grapples with the idea of leaving a man whom she loves, as she feels she can no longer live with him. Painting painfully relatable imagery through her music, Jones is caught between a rock and a hard place, struggling with the idea of having to let go of someone she loves.

All of these emotions become even more complex on the new remix of the R&B hit, on which Justin Timberlake adds a new verse.

“Since you’ve been gone, everything been a mess / You’ve got a hold on this thing in my chest, babe / But I won’t settle for anything less but you / You know that our chemistry make up the set / So let’s make up, put it to the bed / In the morning, we wake up and do it again,” he sings on his verse.

Fans of Jones, the singer and Bel Air actress, have often praised her ability to craft timeless songs, delivering fresh-sounding vocals on instrument-driven tracks. With the addition of Timberlake, the song maintains a special je ne sais quoi similar to that of early aughts pop-R&B.

You can listen to “ICU (Remix)” above.

Coco Jones Announced A Remix For ‘ICU’ And Left A Riddle For The Guest Artist Which Fans May Have Solved

Coco Jones is having one hell of a year. It started with the deluxe release of her EP, What I Didn’t Tell You, a project that originally arrived to close 2022. Months later, Jones would go on to win the Best New Artist award at the 2023 BET Awards, an honor that solidified the hard work and journey she endured in her music career over the years. Next up will be the What I Didn’t Tell You Tour which kicks off next month, but before that, Jones has a surprise for her fans.

The singer hopped on Twitter to announce that a remix of “ICU” with a special guest would arrive on Friday, July 14. Instead of revealing the guest artist, Jones shared three images as a clue for who the remix would feature. The first was a crying emoji over a hand-drawn river, the second was a screengrab from The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, and the third was a montage of various boy bands like *NSYNC, 5ive, Boyzone, and Boyz II Men.

With all the clues at hand, many users concluded that the guest artist on the song is none other than Justin Timberlake. The “Cry Me A River” singer (hint #1) was an actor on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993-1994 and he was also a member of *NSYNC from 1995 to 2002.

Jones has yet to confirm that Timberlake is the guest artist on the “ICU” remix, but fans were quick to share their reaction to the possibility of it happening. You can check those out below.

Madonna Goes Back Home After Hospitalization Over Bacterial Infection

Madonna’s recent hospitalization over the weekend left many fans worried and shocked, although all was well at the end of the day. Moreover, reports from TMZ now indicate that the pop star returned home and is in recovery following her stint in the intensive care unit (ICU) over a “serious bacterial infection.” Not only that, but reports on Thursday (June 29) from the BBC and CNN cited a source claiming that she is “in the clear.” However, this news left many fans wondering whether this will affect her upcoming tour, scheduled to begin this July. Furthermore, her longtime manager Guy Oseary shared a message on Wednesday (June 28) informing fans of the situation.

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU,” he wrote. “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

As such, it seems like the tour will be put on hold and timed more fittingly around the star’s recovering health. What’s more is that Madonna is probably very excited for it, considering that there’s new music to play as well. For example, the 64-year-old recently released her collab with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti for “The Idol” soundtrack, “Popular.” It’s a synth-led, groovy, and pretty catchy pop anthem that is rocking stadiums when Abel Tesfaye plays it. To see one of pop music’s most enduring and influential figures interpret it would surely be exciting for audiences anywhere.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd actually expressed an interest in working with her more. “The thing is, I’ve always wanted to work with her,” he said of the “visionary.” “I’ve always wanted to write and produce a Madonna album… Well, co-produce with her, of course. I just want to come into her world and create a classic Madonna album. That was always my dream. So this can be… hopefully, this is the appetizer for that.” For more news and the latest updates on the superstar, log back into HNHH.

Flo Rida’s Young Son Reportedly In ICU Following Five-Story Fall

Flo Rida and his family are currently in the midst of a challenging time. According to Daily Voice, his 6-year-old son fell from a five-story building earlier this month. Subsequently, Zohar Dillard was placed in the Intensive Care Unit. However, Dillard remains in the hospital with some very serious injuries. These injuries include collapsed lungs, a shattered pelvis, internal bleeding, a liver laceration, and metatarsal fractures. All of these injuries are very serious and require quite a bit of time for repair and recovery.

Following this bad fall, Dillard’s mom Alexis Adams is now suing the building’s management. This complex is located in Jersey City where Adams currently resides. As she explains in her lawsuit, those in charge of the building were “negligent and careless and did not install size guards on the window.” Overall, she believes this negligence is what caused the horrific fall. Moreover, Dillard has autism and hydrocephalus which means he is already in need of extra care.

Alexis Adams Speaks Out

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare,” Adams said. “My heart is broken into a million pieces. It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma knowing that this could’ve been avoided.” At the time of writing this, it has not been made clear how much money Adams is seeking in the lawsuit. As for Flo Rida, he appears to not be involved. Years ago, he was ordered to pay $9,000 per month for child support. Additionally, he called Zohar a “devil child.”

Needless to say, this is not a good situation for anyone involved. It is always incredibly sad when a child is subjected to this kind of devastating injury. Moreover, we hope that Zohar is able to get all the help he needs during this extremely difficult time. This is currently a developing story, so be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates.

Coco Jones Is Collecting Dues And Living Her Best Life

Coco Jones is finally blossoming into the multi-talented star she should have been a decade ago. Cut from the Disney cloth that also produced fan favorites like Raven Symone, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Zendaya, Jones was destined for that same success. For her, however, Disney quickly went from the stepping stone it should’ve been and was for the aforementioned names, to a roadblock that eventually detoured her from achieving her dreams. Promised TV shows and movies were nixed and a record deal arrived and departed all while attempting to make the Tennessee-raised actress and singer something she wasn’t. They say good things come to those who wait, but for Coco Jones, her wait was actually an example of the entertainment industry’s mistreatment of dark-skin women.

The bright side is that the lows that Jones spent years hoping she would finally be able to climb out of are finally behind her. She stars in Bel-Air, Peacock’s reimagined version of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, as Hilary, a role she thrived in from the show’s start in February 2022. A month after the season one premiere, Jones signed a record deal with High Standardz and Def Jam Recordings, and in November of that year, she released her major label debut EP What I Didn’t Tell You which is highlighted by standout records like “Caliber” and “ICU.” It shouldn’t have taken this long for Jones to be granted her moment, and though she’ll certainly agree, she’s found her silver lining through it all. “I think what helped me to overall just take a breath and let things be is understanding that my journey has never worked out in the specific ways that I wanted it to — always better,” she tells me over a Zoom call. “Better in ways that I would have never known to pray for.”

Some of these ways include the opportunities to work with some of the industry’s most gifted names. She collaborated with Babyface on “Simple” from his Girls Night Out album and Teyana Taylor, under the moniker Spike Tey, directed Jones’ sultry and enticing video for “Caliber.” Despite these bright moments, Jones describes the flowers she’s received from the industry over the past year as “bittersweet,” and it’s for a reason you can’t really blame her for. “It’s kind of hard to describe,” she admits. “One part of me kind of feels like, ‘Oh wow, this is amazing.’ But then the other part of me is like, ‘Yeah, but I’ve been doing this. I tried to wake y’all up literally years ago!’” Still, whether it be Babyface, Teyana Taylor, or Janet Jackson, Jones is appreciative of the love they’ve shown her as there was once a time that it didn’t come her way from them and others. “She posted my whole performance of her song, ‘I Get Lonely,’ and that was crazy,” Jones said about Jackson. “That’s a legend. That’s somebody that I learned from.”

Coco Jones has been waking up the entertainment world for a little over two years now. In the fall of 2020, she took to YouTube to detail the negative experiences, much of which were in relation to colorism, that she had in the industry in response to a fan who asked, “What happened to Coco Jones?” Since then, she’s been honest about the trials and tribulations she faced in her career, re-introducing them to her God-given gifts that now have people diving into an open verse TikTok challenge to “ICU,” and highlighting the other pieces of the puzzle that make Coco, Coco. Slowly but surely, they finally acknowledged the alarm she’s been ringing. What I Didn’t Tell You spent its first week at No. 1 on Apple Music’s US R&B/Soul Chart, an accomplishment that Jones manifested prior to the EP’s release. “I was literally crying because I had edited a picture to make it look like it was my album that went No. 1, and I put that on my vision board,” she says. “So to see that in real life… like all I had to do a screenshot it.” It was a reaffirming moment for Jones, who admits to sometimes putting a ceiling on her aspirations to cushion an anticipated fall from an industry that’s knocked her down too many times. “Because I’ve had so many rejections, I get scared to have big expectations sometimes. So even seeing that [it’s like], Courtney, you really need to tap back into the nine-year-old you who was like, I’m literally going to take over the world.” In her words, this takeover could very well include a Coco Jones theme park, Coco Jones french fries, and/or the Coco Jones chicken nuggets she joked about during over conversation. “Whatever it’s going to be, it will be.”

The next instance of Coco Jones continuously waking up her past doubters begins next month as season two of Bel-Air returns on February 23. The actress is expectedly tight-lipped about what we can expect for season two, but she confirms love is in the air for her character Hilary. “You can expect Hillary to be in love. Her and Jazz are definitely boo’d up, and without spoiling too much, someone from her past comes into play and shakes things up.” The similarities between Jones and her character Hilary are hard to ignore. Just like Jones, Hilary possesses the Gen-Z quality that makes us equipped to never settle for less than what we think if rightfully ours. “If I didn’t really love what I was doing, I would have given up [one of] the first 17 times I wanted to give up,” she notes. “I think for me, it was more like what if I go back home and start a completely different life and one day regret it? What if I was literally almost there? Now, I actually am almost to the place where I’ve always seen myself since I was nine years old.”

When I ask Jones what advice she’d give a young Black girl who was to ever find herself in a period of doubt like she was once in, she recalled something she was told during a conversation she had with SZA. “It was something about having this delusion, about how things are just going to work out,” she says. “Just live in your own world, where these things that you want for yourself will happen.” Jones continues, “Move and speak and think as if this is your world, and you can have anything […] and maybe sometimes it’s gonna look delusional, because the timeline is taking longer, and people on the outside who live in fear are like, ‘Girl maybe it’s time to give it on up and cash in your chips,’ but they don’t live in your world. They live in theirs.” To SZA’s point, there’s a moment where this delusion becomes something real and attainable. So after collaborating with Teyana Taylor and the legendary Babyface, it’s no surprise that Coco Jones is aiming higher and wider. She hopes to one day make records with Brandy, Bad Bunny, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, gospel artists like Cece Winans, and even country artists. She also aspires to have a career that can be most compared to Rihanna’s. The world is Coco Jones’ and she’s coming after everything she’s owed and then some.

Boldy James In Stable Condition After Car Crash

Boldy James is in stable condition after he crashed in the Detroit metropolitan area on Monday (January 9th). Moreover, news of his accident broke on Saturday via a press release, which has circulated on social media. As such, many fans and outlets poured out their sympathies for the Detroit MC, who sought to dominate 2022. He wrapped up a fantastic year with December’s Be That As It May, a collaborative project with Italian producer Cuns.

“On Monday, January 9th, Boldy James was involved in a serious two-car accident in the Detroit metropolitan area,” the statement read. “I can confirm that Boldy arrived at the hospital in critical condition, suffering from broken vertebrae in his neck and orthopedic injuries.” After undergoing an arduous neck surgery, medics removed him from intensive care in a stable condition.

“Boldy and his family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses that are taking care of him,” it continued, “and also to the communities’ emergency medical personnel and first responders.”

While the 40-year-old MC hasn’t spoken on the accident, it’s heartening to hear the bad news didn’t get worse. In fact, it’s odd to think that while he received treatment, fans were excited about his upcoming physical-only EP. Also, it’s another collaboration with Real Bad Man, with whom he dropped Killing Nothing back in May.

Moreover, he released five producer collaborations from December 2021 to December 2022, a feat of a run. It all began with Super Tecmo Bo, his third team-up with The Alchemist. Throughout that 12-month timespan, James delivered some of the year’s best verses most cohesive sonic pallets on any 2022 album. Still, he makes it all look so easy with a calm and collected flow and mindset. We hope he has the support he needs as he recovers.

What are you looking forward to from Boldy James after he recovers from his car accident? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below and join us in wishing Bo a speedy recovery. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from one of the game’s best current MCs.
