Teenage Drill Sensation Bouba Savage Releases His Debut Project “It’s Amazing”

Bouba Savage is making a major statement with the release of his debut project, It’s Amazing.

Following a string of viral releases, Bouba Savage came through with It’s Amazing this week. Marking his debut project, the 12-song effort is a concise and strong effort that further showcases his range and versatility. He’ll dive into the sample-based drill sound with aggression, then peels pack the gritty delivery for a more melodic sound. It’s Amazing boasts several previously released singles such as “Baby Goat,” “Bag I Know,” and “Ain’t Care.”

His new project also delivers a string of excellent collaborations. Lil Uzi Vert joins forces with Bouba on the bubbly, “Win A Lot”; Icewear Vezzo assists on disco-drill banger “Made It Off Rapping.” Then, there are a number of appearances from some of NYC’s drill artists like Sha EK, B-Lovee, and CJ Goon.

Overall, It’s Amazing is a promising effort that showcases the bright future ahead of Bouba Savage. Last year, the rapper inked a deal with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Highbridge Tha Label, who released It’s Amazing. Evidently, Highbridge currently has one of the most promising new artists to emerge out of New York City in recent times. It’s quite clear by the cover art itself, which immortalizes the infamous moment at Yams Day when A$AP Rocky threw Bouba Savage off of the stage. Considering how young Bouba is, as well, he’s undoubtedly only beginning to get his feet wet.

Hopefully, this isn’t the last we hear from Bouba Savage this year. Press play on his new project below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts on his new effort.

Gloss Up Releases “Before The Gloss Up”

Memphis is running things, once again, partially due to the group of women who’ve been dishing out heat. Gloss Up has been among those who’ve continued to show out with each opportunity. Following the success of songs like “Don’t Play With Me” and her stand-out verse on HitKidd’s “Shabooya,” the Quality Control rapper is ready to make her mark on the rap game.

Today, she unveiled her new body of work, Before The Gloss Up. Her debut project on Quality Control boasts 13 songs in total with a healthy mix of collaborations and solo tracks that showcase her strengths. Of course, her best friend GloRilla appears on the previously released single, “BestFrenn.” Additionally, the song, “Eenie Meeny Miny Moe” with K Carbon, Aleza, and Slimeroni also appears on the tracklist. Icewear Vezzo also appears on the project for the icy banger, “From Cross Da Way.”

In addition to the release of Before The Gloss Up, the Memphis rapper dropped some bars on Sway’s, which you could check out below.

Gloss Up is truly showing out as one of the leading ladies in the new generation of rappers. Alongside GloRilla, the two have helped shine a bigger spotlight on the women coming out of Memphis these days.

During her appearance on HNHH’s On The Club Up, Gloss discussed how the success of her crew, including GloRilla, has pushed her even further.

“Now [Memphis] influenced me a lot, like, they giving me a lot of faith to keep going,” she said. “‘Cause it’s like, we the first girls that’s out of Memphis that’s actually doing something. For a long time, it’s been the dudes getting it on, so now it’s like, the girls getting recognition. It’s cool cause everybody supporting us right now, and I like it.”

Ever since she was selected as part of the 2021 XXL Freshman class, Quality Control Music rapper Lakeyah’s profile has been steadily rising. In addition, Lakeyah flexes alongside one of the more exciting newcomers in the game today, Icewear Vezzo, as well as R&B standard bearer Lucky Daye.

Yella Beezy Drops New Mixtape ‘Bad Azz Yella Boy’

Yella Beezy Reportedly Got Locked Up After Cops Found 5 Firearms

Before he makes his highly-anticipated Asylum Records album debut, high-profile Dallas recording artist Yella Beezy releases his first project in three years with new mixtape, Bad Azz Yella Boy, which is accompanied by the new music video for the album-cut, “DFMW”. Released Friday (August 5) on all digital streaming platforms via Profit Music Group, the new project comes on the heels of the “That’s On Me” hitmaker being cleared of all charges in several high-profile cases and signing a new deal with Asylum Records in late-2021 after leaving L.A. Reid’s Hitco Records.

Bad Azz Yella Boy includes 16 new songs that features guest appearances by newly-signed Quality Control recording artist Icewear Vezzo (“Out The Jar”) and up-and-coming act Mozz (“Problems”). On the production side, the project features multi-platinum producer, Murda Beatz (Migos, Travis Scott). From the cover to the sound, Yella’s latest release heavily sampled the nostalgic No Limit and Cash Money era.

“It’s like a reboot of how Cash Money and No Limit… their covers used to be,” Beezy tells iHeartRadio. “It was kinda inspired by that. I always wanted to do a cover like that. Since this is just a mixtape, I was like this is the perfect timing.”

The new mixtape is reset for the artist and fans who fell in love with him and his flashy trash talk-but-can back it up at any given moment ways in 2017 with his breakout mixtape, Broke Nights Rich Days. The return of that signature southern charm and grit that saw him collaborate with several of the biggest names in music, like Lil Baby (“Up One”), Gunna (“On Fleek”), and Chris Brown (“Restroom Occupied”)

He continued: “Yella Boy is just talking his s**t on there,” Beezy says. “So I feel like, this tape right here, I’m really talking a lot of s**t on there.”

In “DFWM,” Yella Beezy stars as ruthless no nonsense hustler who has to teach a rival crew a lesson for trying to stiff him on a deal. Things get ugly quickly while he raps about dealing with haters and unsavory characters when he is simply getting to the money and minding his own business. The visual delivers more nostalgia with Beezy and crew rolling around in a cherry-red 1985 BMW. Watch it above.

Bad Azz Yella Boy follows his 2019 mixtape, Baccend Beezy, that features Too Short, Chris Brown, Young Thug, and NLE Choppa. Beezy’s forthcoming album, currently untitled, coming soon on Asylum Records.
