A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Vory Connect On “No 808s”

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is only a few months removed from his last body of work, Me  Vs. Myself. The highly-anticipated project arrived towards the end fo 2022 following a bit of a delay. Though he announced the project months before its release, the initial October release date was pushed back. Boogie explained that he didn’t want to compete with Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, which undoubtedly had a grip on the final weeks of 2022.

However, Me Vs. Myself continues to ring off. The rapper’s project boasts appearances from Roddy Ricch, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, G Herbo, and others, as well as singles like “Ballin.” He later shared the deluxe edition which boasted “Needed That” with the late PNB Rock. Even with the release of a 23-song project, A Boogie still has more heat in the stash. Of course, with it being Valentine’s Day, he’s back with a timely record in collaboration with Vory.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie – “No 808s” Ft. Vory

It’s that time of year when Kanye’s 808’s & Heartbreaks truly feels fitting, and it appears the groundbreaking album left Boogie with some inspiration. This week, the rapper unveiled his latest single, “No 808s” ft. Vory, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Tyler James, Chuck Taylor, and JoeFromYo hold down the moody production as A Boogie and Vory’s melodic talents deliver an emotionally potent banger.

Beyond the title itself, the effects of Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreaks seep through the record. While it’s hard to deny that the project opened the gates for an artist like A Boogie’s mellifluous delivery, the spacey, minimalist production feels like it was taken out of a page from Ye’s book. Still, A Boogie and Vory turn the production into something of their own and create a memorable anthem for this Valentine’s Day. Peep A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s new collab with Vory above.

Bouba Savage Collides with Lil Uzi Vert On New Single “Win A Lot”

Lil Uzi Vert extends his co-sign to budding teenage drill star Bouba Savage for an immediate highlight off of his new project, It’s Amazing.

Over the years, Lil Uzi Vert hasn’t shied away from showing love to the younger generation coming up behind him. This time, he shows love to the viral drill sensation Bouba Savage for “Win A Lot.” The song sits at #2 on the tracklist of It’s Amazing, and perfectly allows Savage’s versatility to shine.

Savage leans closer to Uzi’s intergalactic realm on this one as Eddie Serafica and Zypitano hold down the production. The rapper details his aspirations and motivations to get to the bag throughout his verse while the infectious melodies on the hook create instant replay value. Uzi’s feature, while not mind-blowing, complements Savage’s creative direction on this one.

Bouba Savage’s new project, It’s Amazing dropped off on Thursday morning, via Highbridge The Label. The 12-song project boasts previous records like “Bag I Know,” and “Ain’t Care,” while artists like Icewear Vezzo, B-Lovee, Sha Ek, and more appear on the tracklist.

Teenage Drill Sensation Bouba Savage Releases His Debut Project “It’s Amazing”

Bouba Savage is making a major statement with the release of his debut project, It’s Amazing.

Following a string of viral releases, Bouba Savage came through with It’s Amazing this week. Marking his debut project, the 12-song effort is a concise and strong effort that further showcases his range and versatility. He’ll dive into the sample-based drill sound with aggression, then peels pack the gritty delivery for a more melodic sound. It’s Amazing boasts several previously released singles such as “Baby Goat,” “Bag I Know,” and “Ain’t Care.”

His new project also delivers a string of excellent collaborations. Lil Uzi Vert joins forces with Bouba on the bubbly, “Win A Lot”; Icewear Vezzo assists on disco-drill banger “Made It Off Rapping.” Then, there are a number of appearances from some of NYC’s drill artists like Sha EK, B-Lovee, and CJ Goon.

Overall, It’s Amazing is a promising effort that showcases the bright future ahead of Bouba Savage. Last year, the rapper inked a deal with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Highbridge Tha Label, who released It’s Amazing. Evidently, Highbridge currently has one of the most promising new artists to emerge out of New York City in recent times. It’s quite clear by the cover art itself, which immortalizes the infamous moment at Yams Day when A$AP Rocky threw Bouba Savage off of the stage. Considering how young Bouba is, as well, he’s undoubtedly only beginning to get his feet wet.

Hopefully, this isn’t the last we hear from Bouba Savage this year. Press play on his new project below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts on his new effort.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Delivers On His New Album “Me Vs. Myself”

After much anticipation, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is back with the release of his new album, Me Vs. Myself. The Bronx-bred rapper returns after a nearly two year but the results were definitely worth waiting for.

Me Vs. Myself consists of 22 songs in total with several heavy-weight appearances. The previously released singles such as “B.R.O” ft Roddy Ricch, “Take Shots” ft. Tory Lanez, “Ballin” and the Kodak Black-assisted “Water (Drowning Pt. 2)” appear on the tracklist. Additionally, the project boasts features from G Herbo and H.E.R. Lil Durk also appears twice on the project on “24 Hours” and “Damn Homie.” Frequent collaborator and Highbridge The Label artist Don Q features on “Chanelly.”

A Boogie teased as A Boogie Vs. Artist shortly after his last studio album, leading to the release of 2021’s B4 AVA. However, the rapper kept a low profile since until he announced the release date in September. Unfortunately for fans, the album was further delayed after Drake and 21 Savage pushed back the release of Her Loss.

“Sorry but album dropping in December now, Drake was dropping the same day and I’m not with that,” he wrote. Evidently, it was a good choice, considering Drake and 21 Savage topped the Billboard 200 with the highest numbers for a hip-hop album in 2022.

Though A Boogie hasn’t dropped an album since 2020’s Artist 2.0, he’s dished out numerous features, many of them alongside the budding drill stars from New York. However, he also expanded beyond New York City with collabs alongside David Guetta, Kawhi Leonard, and more.

With the release of his new album, we’re excited to see what A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie gets up to in the new year. Check out Me Vs. Myself below and sound off with your thoughts on the project in the comments. Was it worth the wait? Let us know.
