McDonald’s Shared Some Bizarre ‘Menu Hacks’ And Fans Are Blaming Saweetie

Saweetie’s McDonald’s Meal is long-gone, but that isn’t stopping fans from continuing to associate the two brands after the fast-food giant shared a list of odd “menu hacks” on Twitter. The “Best Friend” rapper’s appetite for unusual snacks has become near-legendary after her social media posts pairing such odd combinations as ranch and spaghetti and devouring impressively amalgamated burgers stuffed like turduckens with fries and other accouterments. So, it makes sense that upon seeing mutant menu items like Hash Brown McMuffins and whatever the heck a “Surf+Turf” burger is, fans would immediately start in with the Saweetie jokes.

“Honestly this is what I expected the Saweetie meal to be,” cracked more than one account upon seeing the new graphic. Another snarked that “McDonald’s took all of Saweetie’s pitches during her one day as CEO.” Even Saweetie’s own stan accounts couldn’t resist getting in on the fun. “Saweetie inspired meals,” wrote @IcyGrlUpdates, adding a signature snowflake emoji.

Truthfully, it’s probably not a bad thing that Saweetie is the first person people think of when they see odd food combinations… That’s called “brand saturation.” If weird food is going to be part of your identity, I say own it. After all, there are way worse things to be known for. Besides, with Saweetie’s debut album Pretty B*tch Music still somewhere over the horizon, she’ll need people talking about her as much as possible to ensure her success continues.

People Are Confused Why Lizzo Posted A Video Of Her Sucking A Mystery Man’s Fingers

There’s no doubt Lizzo’s new favorite social media app is TikTok. The singer posts nearly every day, sharing clips of her cooking, dancing, or getting ready for the red carpet. But on certain occasions, Lizzo shares some hilariously raunchy content, like the time she twerked as Dora The Explorer. But earlier this week, a suggestive video had people very confused.

The video in question shows Lizzo sucking a mystery man’s fingers before he slowly starts choking her. She keeps a smile on her face the entire time as one of Baby Tate’s tracks plays in the background. “I haven’t watched euphoria yet this week— how was it?” she captioned the video, referencing the notoriously scandalous HBO Max show.

@lizzo

I was scared to post this 🥺🥺🥺 but i just wanted u to know— if the ones u love support you. Thats all you need! I love yall ❤

Most of the top comments underneath the out-of-context video are about Chris Evans, who Lizzo has a huge celebrity crush on. It all started with the singer drunkenly slide into Evans’ DMs one night to shoot her shot. Evans was okay with the message, saying “No shame in a drunk DM,” and “god knows I’ve done worse on this app lol.” Since then, Lizzo has joked she’s pregnant with Evans’ baby and asked her fans to come up with names. But now that she shared this racy video, fans are concerned she is leaving Evans in the dust. “What would Chris think,” one user wrote. “Who’s hands are those? Cause they definitely aren’t Chris’s,” another said — to which Lizzo cheekily replied: “Don’t tell him.”

Kanye West Is Reportedly Planning A Fashion Show Using Homeless People As Models

Kanye West is reportedly putting his interest in fashion to philanthropic use, according to TMZ, which reports that the part-time designer plans to use his next fashion show to help the homeless. Ye has partnered with LA-based streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week on a collaboration with the goal of donating 100 percent of the proceeds to causes helping the city’s homeless population, which ballooned during the pandemic as a result of lost jobs, evictions, and foreclosures stemming from lockdown measures and lost profits throughout the private sector.

Yeezy and SRFW are also planning a literal fashion show to display the clothing and they want to employ actual homeless Skid Row residents as models and to work in the brand’s factory helping to produce the clothing itself.

Skid Row Fashion Week was founded by David Sabastian, an LA rapper/hypebeast/designer (you can check out his UPROXX Sessions performance at that link) who says he met Kanye at a recording session for the upcoming Donda sequel in the LA Arts District earlier this month. After some conversations, they decided to collaborate in the hopes of offering some assistance to those in need. According to TMZ, the collaboration will drop on February 22. Migos’ ‘Culture’ Disappears From Streaming On Its Fifth Anniversary

While progressive Atlanta trap trio Migos had plenty of hits in their early career — the biggest being “Versace” thanks to its remix from Drake — it was their 2017 album Culture that turned them into a national phenomenon. It was the band’s first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and launched their chart-topping singleBad And Boujee” with Lil Uzi Vert, making Migos a household name. Today is its fifth anniversary, but fans looking to give it a nostalgic spin the commemorate the occasion are out of luck as the album has mysteriously disappeared from streaming platforms.

Neither the band nor their label, Quality Control Music, have offered any explanations for the takedown. In fact, the social media for both only contain posts celebrating the Culture sequel, Culture II, on its fourth anniversary. Meanwhile, fans on Twitter have been posting screenshots of the greyed-out song titles in their playlists and saved albums folders, wondering where the album went — and whether there will be some sort of update in the near future.

So far, Culture appears to be the only album affected, with longtime favorites like Young Rich N*ggas, YRN 2, and both Culture follow-ups remaining intact. It also appears that whatever is happening here hasn’t affected the album on Tidal, so perhaps it’s just temporary. Meanwhile, Quavo’s promotional post for his own new single releasing tonight has been bombarded with requests from fans to bring back Culture. Whether or not Quavo has the pull to make it happen remains to be seen. Stay tuned.

Nicki Minaj Announces Her First Single Of 2022 And It Features Lil Baby

Nicki Minaj fans hoped the rapper would deliver a new album in 2021. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, though she did drop some new music over the year. That included re-releasing her mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty with three additional tracks, such as “Seeing Green” with Drake and Lil Wayne. She also remixed BIA’s viral hit song “Whole Lotta Money” and delivered a collaboration with Polo G, among other artists. Now it seems Nicki is ready to share new music as per her latest announcement.

Minaj hopped on Twitter to share the release date of her first single of the year: On February 4, she’ll drop a collaboration with Lil Baby. While she did not reveal the title, she did share an image from what appears to be the song’s music video. “DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM,” she wrote alongside the image. “BABY X BARBIE,” she wrote, adding, “PINK FRIDAY” and its release date along with a number of emojis.

The announcement comes after Nicki Minaj appeared on murals around the country for Rap Cavier’s campaign “Rap Mount Rushmore,” which also featured Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. As for Lil Baby, the song arrives after he and Future joined Rvssian for their collaboration “M&M.”

Yella Beezy Is Proud To ‘Talk My Sh*t’ In His Flashy New Video

Yella Beezy had a pretty successful 2021. The rapper kicked things off with “Star,” his single with Houston upstart Erica Banks. Later he collaborated with Wale and Maxo Kream for the former’s single “Down South,” which appeared on Wale’s album Folarin II. Now he’s kicking off the new year with his new single “Talk My Sh*t.”

It arrives with a lavish video that captures Yella Beezy’s exuberant demeanor. He fills a mansion with a cast of women wearing nothing but bikinis while he stands tall to lay off a collection of boastful lines. “These n****s got the motherf*ckin’ nerve, I’d think before you cross, stay on the motherf*ckin’ curb,” he raps at one point. “Got the trap, tell them come and get your ass served.”

While Beezy has been doing well musically lately, he’s also found himself in legal trouble. Back in November, he was arrested and charged with felony sexual assault, felony abandoned endangered child, and misdemeanor unlawful carrying a weapon. This came after he was arrested in February over that same year on a weapons charge.

A Travis Scott Petition Has Nearly 70,000 Signatures In Favor Of Him Performing At Coachella In 2023

Coachella’s 2022 festival is set to kick off in less than three months, with Kanye West, Billie Eilish, and Harry Styles serving as headliners. It’ll be the festival’s first iteration since 2019, after they were forced to cancel the ones set for 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. When first announced in 2020, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against The Machine were announced as the headliners. It was originally believed that the trio would headline his year’s show, but Frank’s set was postponed until 2023 while Scott and Rage Against The Machine were dropped from the lineup.

Many Travis Scott supporters are upset that he won’t be there, which most likely came as a result of the tragedy at his 2021 Astroworld Festival. So they’ve taken matters into their own hands. A petition calling for the rapper’s appearance at Coachella next year currently has nearly 70,000 signatures, with the goal of obtaining at least 75,000. It also calls for Kanye West to help deliver a Scott performance at Coachella.

“Book Travis for 2023 or have Ye bring him out!” a statement on the petition reads. “After Coachella unfairly removed Travis Scott for Harry Styles, they need to do the right thing and rebook him immediately.” It continues, “Coachella switched Travis and Frank for Harry Styles and Billie Eilish? What kind of message does that send? Fans are demanding refunds and selling their tickets. Coachella needs to fix this asap.” The statement concludes, “We all know Astroworld tragedy wasn’t Travis fault. Let him get back to performing on the biggest stages!”

It should be noted that Coachella did not intentionally switch either Frank Ocean for either Harry Styles or Billie Eilish. Back in August, months before either the two were announced as headliners, Coachella’s co-founder said Frank would miss the 2022 festival because he was unavailable for the rescheduled dates. Frank will instead perform in 2023.
