Diddy’s Pictures Removed From Iconic Hollywood Drive-In As Allegations Continue To Pour In

Diddy’s pictures at Mel’s Drive-In Hollywood, which proudly displays photos of numerous celebrity visitors, have been removed in the wake of his recent arrest. As confirmed by TMZ, the iconic Los Angeles restaurant has taken down the two photos that featured the Bad Boy mogul. “We see everything going on in the news with Diddy and it’s not okay,” the manager told the outlet.

Authorities arrested Diddy in New York City, last month, charging him with allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s already pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes but remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial. Additionally, several alleged victims have come forward with lawsuits against him. Attorney Tony Buzbee has claimed to know over 120 alleged victims of Diddy who plan to take legal action.

In a statement provided to Rolling Stone, one of Diddy’s lawyers, Erica Wolff, previously denied the numerous allegations. “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” she wrote. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

On Monday, one alleged victim identified as Jane Doe accused Diddy of raping her at a Manhattan hotel in 2004. With so many sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking lawsuits and accusations against Diddy, people are thinking a lot about his reputation. More specifically, they are considering his massive influence, financial stake, and ubiquity in the entertainment sphere, a presence that these allegations are shifting quite dramatically. Moreover, folks are reacting to Sean Combs’ legacy change in real time, although some initiatives to de-platform him in the wake of these alleged crimes seem more futile than others. For example, an alleged representative for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce reportedly spoke to TMZ about one particularly visible and popular accolade of his: his Walk of Fame star.

If you’re unfamiliar, Diddy had previously gotten a spot on the iconic Hollywood attraction in 2008, all for a career that was then-unencumbered by these accusations. However, the Chamber has reportedly not discussed removing his star yet, and this spokesperson doesn’t have much hope for the chances of doing so. They explained that, while the Chamber has permission to nominate honorees, craft and place the stars with help from the city, and carry out the Walk of Fame installation ceremony, it doesn’t have the authority to physically remove stars from the block. As such, it looks like this will permanently celebrate Puff Daddy even as public favor wanes and wanes.

Meanwhile, celebrities and large media figures like 50 Cent are taking the offensive when it comes to this Diddy situation. Some of them have been unfiltered and staunch in their condemnation of his alleged actions. Dr. Dre is facing backlash on social media for his alleged abusive past, following the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Despite the celebratory ceremony, some fans weren’t happy with paying tribute to a man responsible for such controversial actions.

The director asked him to take his clothes off, and it was all extremely bizarre. Lawrence notes that this director was fairly prominent and that it was for a big role. Overall, this is extremely harrowing to listen to, and you have to appreciate his bravery for telling the story.

And if I did x, y, and z, I would be the next Marvel character. I didn’t do that and my agency fired me because I left this director’s room.”

Queen Latifah took a moment to speak on pay inequality for Black actresses in Hollywood while hosting the NAACP Image Awards at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on Saturday night. In doing so, she shared support for Taraji P. Henson, who previously admitted she had considered retirement due to the income disparity.

“It’s no secret we are facing some seriously pivotal issues,” Queen Latifah said during her monologue. “Everyone is talking about inflation. You know what’s not feeling inflation?” The camera then cut to Henson who remarked: “Equal pay for Black actresses.” Latifah added: “Everybody else in this hall room stand up for all of us Black actresses who have been representing for us. Support us. Join us. Because it’s you who stand next to us every day. We know this and we want to say thank you.”

Method Man has revealed his desire to play Reggie Jackson in a biopic. “I want to do a biop[ic] of Reggie Jackson. Because when I lived in the Bronx, he was king, Mr. October, man. I mean, he had a hell of a life, hell of a career. I watched the documentary about him ’cause I already knew the kind of person he was, but watching that documentary — it opened up a whole new mentality for me. When we look at baseball players, we like, ‘You white’ — it’s just our assumption or ignorance or whatever. But that man was so much about his people. Not just about his people but equal opportunities for Black players in a game that’s older than all of us — him included — where we weren’t even invited to the table, let alone felt like we deserved a seat,” Method Man said.

However, he also revealed that he hates the “politics” of working in Hollywood. “That Hollywood machine is—I love the work,” he said. “Let’s just say that. Let’s get that out of the way. It’s just the politics I don’t like. The taking meetings and things of that nature. I don’t like it. It’s just not something I like to do. I had to show them that I was actually serious about it because I mean, the first name they hear is Method Man. They don’t hear Clifford Smith. I had to strip back the layers of Method Man. I had to embrace it because Method Man got me in the door. But then once I got in there, I had to show them that I was willing to do the work. I’m good at the work and give me the f-cking job. Give me the f-cking job. But you should never go into an audition wanting the job. You should go to the audition to showcase your translation of a scene to play,” he noted.

Your agent, I hope you got rid of that n-gga,” Method Man said.

However, Method Man revealed that most actors who try to portray 2Pac don’t hit the mark. “For somebody to really embody 2Pac, nothing against my boy [Demetrius] Shipp, the brother didn’t really have a lot to work with. I heard they didn’t get a blessing from 2Pac’s mom as well. He had a lot of obstacles in his way so we cannot blame him for that performance. The Hollywood Walk of Fame will be honoring Dr. Dre with a star next to his long-time collaborator, Snoop Dogg. Snoop and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine will both give speeches at the ceremony. Big Boy will serve as emcee.

Dr. Dre’s star will serve as a lasting symbol of his immense talent and enduring legacy in the world of music. What is special regarding the location chosen for Dr. Dre’s star is that it will be next to the star of his longtime friend Snoop Dogg!”

Dre and Snoop have collaborated for decades at this point. Outside of music, they even teamed up for a new line of canned alcoholic drinks named Gin & Juice, earlier this year. The name is a reference to their iconic song by the same name from 1994. “Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dr. Dre said. “There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”

Chris Brown Furious After Damaging Lamborghini In Hollywood Fender-Bender

Chris Brown got into a minor accident in his Lamborghini while leaving The Nice Guy in Hollywood after a night out, this weekend. TMZ reports that the fender-bender left his ride with “some major scuff marks.” In pictures from the scene, he appeared quite frustrated over the incident.

The next morning, paparazzi caught Brown getting upset about the accident again while assessing the damage with a group of people. The exact extent of the damage remains unclear, but one photo shows the front bumper dented, amongst other scrapes.

The accident in Hollywood comes after Brown recently took to his Instagram Story to announce a deluxe version of his album, 11:11, and deride mainstream success. “11:11 deluxe album will contain 13 new songs. So all together 35 songs Drops 4/11 be 35 this year,” he began in one post. From there, he added: “I DONT WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES. I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE. YOUR FAVE AINT GOT SH*T ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AINT FINNA TAP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW.” Prior to the post, he claimed the NBA uninvited him from the Celebrity All-Star Game due to backlash from sponsors.

The deluxe version of 11:11 is dropping on April 11. Brown worked with Bryson Tiller, Joyner Lucas, Tee Grizzley, and Davido on the new music.
