The Stewie 1 Quiet Fire, the first women’s signature basketball shoe in more than ten years, will be unveiled on Friday, September 16, by PUMA Hoops in partnership with WNBA MVP and Olympic gold medalist Breanna Stewart. The performance-driven shoe’s Quiet Fire colorway, a dramatic juxtaposition of neon yellow and contrasting black, captures Stewart’s fierce-yet-humble attitude on and off the court. Unparalleled style is ensured by matching clothing that incorporates retro influences and contemporary interpretations on traditional b-ball cuts.

Stewie 1 ends the industry’s lengthy drought of more than ten years and emphasizes the point of our long-overdue collaboration. The performance-driven shoe’s Quiet Fire colorway, a dramatic juxtaposition of neon yellow and contrasting black, captures Stewart’s fierce-yet-humble attitude on and off the court. The upper, which takes inspiration from the North Star, depicts the forward’s tremendous talent and pays homage to her high school team, while a subtle tonal flame design symbolizes this duality. The Stewie 1 is unequaled on all counts thanks to its revolutionary technology, which includes NITRO foam.

On September 16, the Stewie 1 Quiet Fire will be offered at DICK’S Sporting Goods, PUMA.com, the PUMA NYC Flagship Store, and a few other select stores across the world. In October, coordinating clothing items will become available. Retail prices for the Stewie 1 range from $35 to $140.

Nike Introduced New Innovation Platform for Apparel ‘Nike Forward’

Nike has introduced Nike Forward, a new innovation platform that will prioritize revolutionizing apparel creation.

Nike has introduced Nike Forward, a new innovation platform that will prioritize revolutionizing apparel creation. Climate change has been cited as a barrier to the sport by athletes all over the world, and Nike is tackling this issue head-on with Nike Forward, the brand’s most important clothing innovation since Dri-Fit.

By hacking punch-needle machines to produce luxury, environmentally conscious goods, Forward revolutionizes the textile manufacturing industry. The first-generation Forward material considerably reduces the carbon footprint compared to standard knit fleece used by Nike, redefining how we think about fleece. On average, the carbon footprint of the new platform is reduced by 75%.

“Nike Forward feels different because it is different. It is not a traditional knit or woven, but a completely new material that drastically reduces its carbon footprint,” says Carmen Zolman, VP Innovation Apparel Design, NIKE, Inc.

The grey hoodie, a classic silhouette, makes its Nike Forward debut. As part of its commitment to sustainability, the hoodie forgoes decorations and colors in favor of raw cut pockets and waterless production.

“It’s game-changing platforms, like Nike Forward, that accelerate a culture of innovation at Nike to help protect the planet and the future of sport,” says Janett Nichol, VP of Apparel Innovation, NIKE, Inc.

Diddy Joins Kanye And Swizz Beatz In Adidas Boycott, Vows To Never Wear Adidas Again

diddy balencia

Over the last week, Kanye has been vocal about his frustrations with Adidas, calling out the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Adidas, Daniel Cherry III, on IG along with the footwear giant’s executive board. Kanye also claimed that Adidas had tried to offer him $1 billion for Yeezy and even issued an ultimatum to Adidas saying that unless they abided by his terms, he would end his partnership with the brand today, September 6.

Following his string of posts on IG, many came in support of Ye, even Swizz Beatz who called Adidas copying Ye’s designs “DEAD WRONG.”

“I usually mind my business but this is DEAD WRONG! If we let them do this to @kanyewest it will happen to us also! This man created this groundbreaking innovation and it should be respected as a creative ! YE is only asking for his work to be respected and not stolen that’s not crazy to me !! We not buying these !!!!!!!!!!!! @adidas you’re supposed to be original do the correct thing please !!!”

Recently, Diddy has joined the two in their Adidas boycott. He went on to post the text exchange between him and Kanye where he asked Ye if he could send him something that he could post on social media in support of Ye. In the caption of the post, Diddy vowed never to wear Adidas shoes until they made things right with Ye.

“Since the era of Run-DMC, @Adidas has always used Hip Hop to build its brand and make billions off of our culture,” Diddy said. “BUT WE ARE MORE THAN JUST CONSUMERS NOW, WE’RE THE OWNERS. @KanyeWest and @Yeezy are the reason Adidas is relevant to culture. WE KNOW OUR VALUE! I’m done wearing Adidas products until they make this right!! We have to support each other!! Everybody repost this please!!”

In a post on his IG yesterday, Kanye posted a message that seemed as if he had either left Adidas or the company finally gave into his demands. The message read “I could hear the joy in my teams voices today. Adidas don’t want no more smoke. The movie credits are rolling. This war wasn’t about money. It was about control of our families, of our business, of our story. I gave them the opportunity to settle this quietly. Now it’s time for Gap : )”

Is Kanye Leaving Adidas?

kanye west adidas

Kanye has been with Adidas since 2013. Since his partnership, Yeezy has become one of the biggest sneaker brands in the world. However, as of late, Kanye has not been happy with Adidas for stealing his ideas and not appointing him to the board despite generating over a billion dollars in revenue for the company. Kanye’s recent IG posts have many wondering if he will leave Adidas and bring his Yeezy ideas to another sneaker company.

Over the last week, Kanye has been more active on IG, airing out his grievances with Adidas executives, most notably Daniel Cherry III, the newly appointed Senior Vice President at Adidas. He also took the time to post headshots of all Adidas executives on his IG. Not only were the executives called out, but Ye also called out the lawyer who Adidas hired to allegedly change his Adidas contract.

Under the post, Kanye told Adidas that it is going to cost “billions” to keep him and threatened to leave Adidas by Tuesday, September 6.

“I have no chill It’s going to cost you billions to keep me It’s goin to cost you billions to let me go adidas” Ye wrote. Y”ou stole my fucking designs amongst other things I’ll give you to Tuesday I’m not waiting 7 months to leave like the breach letter I sent you refers to It’s up now I’m going to make things unbearable And I promise I’ve only been playing nice i know eeeeeeeverythning I promise The fake shoes yall sold behind my back in China Eeeeeverything.”

West’s attack on Adidas has many of his devout fans siding with him and pushing for his exit from Adidas. One Yeezy fan page had posted “@kanyewest Ye we need the list of unapproved YEEZY’s we the REAL YEEZY ARMY & we ain’t buying colorways designed by [clowns].”

Ye reposted the message on his Instagram, with a caption that explained that Adidas had tried to buy Yeezy from him for a billion dollars.

“The fact adi felt they could color my shoes and name them without my approval is really wild But I promise everyone adidas is not as wild as me,” Ye wrote. “I really really care about building something that changes the world and something I can leave to my kids They tried to buy me out for 1 billion dollars My royalties next year are 500 million dollars alone Daniel Cherry Pop makes 2 million a year Yeezy’s are 68 percent of adidas on line sales You guys thought cause DCP Daniel Cherry Pop went to Warden that he could politely give me a billion dollars to hand everything I built over.”

Kanye West Proclaims Adidas CEO ‘Dead’ In Mock Newspaper After Brand Friction

kanye west adidas

Kanye West, never the one to shy away from a public feud, adds Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted to his long list of enemies.

The design executive and artist posted a mock New York Times headline to his social media, reading “Kasper Rorsted Also Dead At 60″ and captioned the photo “God Loves Us.”

The post, a nod to a similar attack he shared about Kim Kardashian’s ex Pete Davidson, has since been removed.

Hostility has been rising between Ye, 45, and Adidas for some time, after the company launched “Yeezy Day” without his approval, letting fans get previously-released versions of his shoes. He’s also publicly accused the sportswear brand of stealing design ideas from him for their “Adilette” slides.

Just a day earlier West went on the attack against clothing company GAP, saying the brand kept him out of meetings and also stole designs from him.

Even though his contract is up in 2026, last week Adidas announced Kasper was leaving the company in 2023. He started with the brand in 2016, according to CNBC.

With Drop I, YG, best known for his contagious, Mustard-produced, party-ready songs and candid accounts of life in Compton, proudly revives the 4Hunnid brand. Similar to how the Compton culture influences his music, way of life, and daily morality, so is the 4Hunnid brand. The 4Hunnid line, featuring T-shirt 4H GANGSTA SS logos that represent the “real street definition” of a gangster, is ingrained in YG’s DNA.

Instead of capturing the spirit of streetwear, the 4Hunnid collection honestly reinvents it. The goods are entirely cut, stitched, and built in Los Angeles, California, with prices ranging from $60 to $180. The line combines individually customized and modern boxy fits and is made of high-quality, heavy-weight fabrications. The BLOCK RUNNER, a classic wardrobe item from Los Angeles, is recreated in the collection using only 100% genuine leather and a flame-shaped emblem sewn onto the side panels.
