YG & Donald Trump’s Feud Has Been Reignited As The Rapper Dropped New Merch Starring The Former President’s Mugshot

Rapper YG’s long-standing feud with Donald Trump has been reignited, at least on one side. The former president’s has done a lot of fundraising in the last few days, and YG is looking to latch on to that lingering momentum by exploiting the craze surrounding Trump’s mugshot.

YG’s label has uploaded a series of t-shirts (in black and white) featuring the image along with the caption, “F*cked.” The item listed on the shop as the “FDT T-SHIRT” goes for $35 per tee. The shirt’s titling is a callback to his 2016 song “FDT,” an acronym for F*ck Donald Trump.

In the song, YG makes it clear that he was not in favor of Trump’s presidential ambitions, rapping, “I’m ’bout to turn Black Panther / Don’t let Donald Trump win, that n**** cancer / He too rich, he ain’t got the answers / He can’t make decisions for this country, he gon’ crash us / No, we can’t be a slave for him / He got me appreciating Obama way more / Hey Donald, and everyone that follows / You gave us your reason to be President, but we hate yours / F*ck Donald Trump.”

During some of YG’s live performances, he’s continued to voice his disdain for Trump. At one point, he even invited Stormy Daniels to join him on stage.

YG’s official FDT t-shirt is on sale now. Find more information here.

The latest green flame “BLOCK RUNNER” from multi-platinum performer, businessman, and philanthropist YG’s The Flame footwear is now available. “Please do not look like a bum, walk like a bum, or talk like a bum while wearing these. If you’re somebody who hasn’t had pleasure in a long time, put these shoes on and step out. I promise you by the end of the night, pleasure will be served.”

– YG

The “BLOCK RUNNER” launched 4Hunnid’s The Flame line extension into footwear in March 2021 with an inverted colorway pattern. It was sold out online within the first seven minutes of going on sale. In a nod to YG’s hometown NBA teams, the brand most recently released sneakers inspired by the Lakers and Clippers. Being from LA, YG wanted to create a sneaker that reflected the West Coast aesthetic. The low-cut shoe has an upper made of 100 percent real leather and a flame-shaped emblem that is attached to the side panels of a bespoke sole. The same Compton culture, everyday values, and way of life that inform YG’s music also greatly affect the 4Hunnid brand.

You can see the new sneaker below.

YG & Kamaiyah Finally Squash Their Beef During Oakland Concert

YG and Kamaiyah had the West Coast on lock during the mid-2010s. The Oakland rapper inked a deal with 4Hunnid, which ultimately landed her on the hook of “Why You Always Hatin” alongside Drake and many other hits. Unfortunately, things took a turn and Kamaiyah expressed her frustrations with YG and the label.

Finally, they’ve ended their feud. Last night, YG performed in Oakland – Kamaiyah’s hometown – during the Red Cup tour. Though many fans wouldn’t have expected her to appear on stage, YG brought her out. From there, he made it clear that he has nothing but love for Kamaiyah.

“I swear to God, I don’t know what they know, I don’t know what they heard about — on the blogs they read, I don’t know nothing,” YG said. “But I love you. Come give me a hug.” Kamaiyah embraced YG, and replied, “I love you too. From the Bay to L.A., goddamn it!” Afterward, they leaped into their record, “Fuck It Up” and the crowd undoubtedly ate it up.

“They asked if I would come to Oakland, etc., and I was going home to get my hair braided for Grammy weekend, so it worked out,” she explained to The Shade Room. From there, the two joined forces on stage for the first time in years. Not only was it a major moment for Oakland but for rap fans across the world.

She added that YG apologized during the performance while reiterating that they’re family. “We’re like brother and sister, have the same management, etc. We were just going thru a public family quarrel because we severed business ties, that’s all, lol,” she added. After the show, she said she returned to YG’s imprint on her Instagram Story. She later clarified that she was just joking, though apparently, there have been discussions.

During an interview with Uproxx in 2020, Kamaiyah explained that she wanted an apology from YG. “There was some things said that until you rectify and apologize, I feel like, ‘What’s the point in me having a conversation?’” she said. “‘Cause then, I’m pacifying your actions. And me being a woman and a queen that stand on my word I felt like you gotta be a man and stand on yours and apologize for some off the things that was said and done.”

Recently, YG hosted a VIP private dinner at the Warehouse Downtown in Los Angeles, California, to kick off the revival of the 4Hunnid brand. Zack Bia, Guapdad4000, Chiquis, Boo Johnson, Coco Jones, and Emily Tosta were just a handful of the attendees.

With Drop I, YG, best known for his contagious, Mustard-produced, party-ready songs and candid accounts of life in Compton, proudly revives the 4Hunnid brand. Similar to how the Compton culture influences his music, way of life, and daily morality, so is the 4Hunnid brand. The 4Hunnid line, featuring T-shirt 4H GANGSTA SS logos that represent the “real street definition” of a gangster, is ingrained in YG’s DNA.

Instead of capturing the spirit of streetwear, the 4Hunnid collection honestly reinvents it. The goods are entirely cut, stitched, and built in Los Angeles, California, with prices ranging from $60 to $180. The line combines individually customized and modern boxy fits and is made of high-quality, heavy-weight fabrications. The BLOCK RUNNER, a classic wardrobe item from Los Angeles, is recreated in the collection using only 100% genuine leather and a flame-shaped emblem sewn onto the side panels.

You can check out the pieces and event photos below. The collection is available at 4Hunnid.com.
