Taylor Swift To Be Parodied At Gridiron Dinner

Taylor Swift is among the prominent figures who will be parodied at tonight’s Gridiron Club and Foundation Dinner. Swift will be the subject of one of the event’s signature musical skits. Furthermore, President Joe Biden will be making his first appearance in office at the event. For the first time since 1898, foreign heads of state will be in attendance. Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will both be in attendance.

The Gridiron Dinner is one of the few remaining white-tie events. It’s a celebration of journalism, politics, and the relationship between the two fields. Similar to the White House Correspondents Dinner, the President is expected to attend and make self-deprecating remarks. Biden is expected to speak at 10:05pm EST. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff will also be in attendance.

Taylor Swift “Won Over” The Chiefs With Homemade Pop-Tarts, Andy Reid Claims

Elsewhere, Swift “won over” the Chiefs’ O-Line with homemade Pop-Tarts, head coach Andy Reid has claimed at the NFL Combine. “She likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts. She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one,” Reid told Mike Florio and Chris Simms. Swift is an avid baker, dating as far back as a viral Tumblr cookie recipe a decade ago. “”We’re having pregame meal and Taylor is so nice, she comes in by herself and she’s so cool. She made her homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for pregame meal. I’m a juicer right now trying to be vegan and gluten-free, but I absolutely had to sample some of that cinnamon roll on game day,” former NFL QB Bernie Kosar told a radio show in December 2023.

Back at the Combine, Reid also spoke on his relationship with Swift, whom he first met during his tenure with the Eagles. “I knew her dad and her mom — good, solid people. I met her when she was young. And she’s so grounded for who she is. I mentioned somewhere that since the queen passed away, she might be the most famous woman in the world, but she handles it,” Reid said.

Boosie Badazz Slams Kanye West For Claiming He “Invented” The Past 20 Years Of Music

Kanye West continues to make headlines for his countless controversial remarks, and his recent interview with Big Boy has only added fuel to the fire. At one point in the conversation, for example, Ye claimed to be the sole person behind the past two decades of music. Needless to say, viewers have their doubts.

I invented every style of music of the past 20 years, I created the genre. I created Weeknd’s genre. Trav, Drake, everybody. I’mma go ahead and say with all love, Future and Thug also because the auto-tune album, 808s,” he said. “Everybody thinks about Trav, Weeknd, and Drake but no one thinks about Future and Thug also. The auto-tune album. Now everyone, they added whatever it was to it. But here’s a new genre. It’s called making your own money genre. This music is called, like, take that middle man out.”

Boosie Badazz Says “Nobody Listens To Kanye In The Projects”

Ye’s claim has prompted countless fans, critics, and peers alike to chime into the debate. Most recently, Boosie Badazz hopped on Instagram to share his take. Boosie’s calling cap on Ye’s bold claim, as according to him, people where he’s from simply cannot relate. “NOT ALL GENRES NOT EVERY STYLE,” Boosie wrote. “NOT BOOSIE MUSIC. YOU CAN’T RELATE TO NOTHING I RAP ABOUT R YOUR MUSIC. NOBODY LISTENS TO KANYE IN THE PROJECTS R THE TRENCHES IM, A GON HEAD N SAY IT ‘ MY PEOPLE DO NOT RELATE TO YOU.’”

Clearly, Boosie strongly disagrees with Ye, and it looks like he’s not the only one. Earlier today, Kid Cudi also seemingly responded to the Chicago MC’s claim, dropping a screenshot of a Wikipedia article that lists him as an inspiration for 808s & Heartbreaks. What do you think of Kanye West claiming to have invented every style of music of the past 20 years? What about Boosie’s response? T.I. Teases Modern Trap Rappers In Stand-Up Comedy Set

T.I. wants to make it clear that he can be a funny guy too, and not just one of the pillars of trap music and Southern rap as a whole. Moreover, he recently appeared on BET’s revived series Comic View, and one particular clip from his stand-up set is gaining a lot of traction on social media. The Atlanta legend is well-known for his perspectives on contemporary hip-hop happenings, such as Killer Mike’s recent Grammys arrest. As such, it’s no surprise that he has some comical and light takes on trap music today, ones that a lot of folks seem to have resonated with.

“Listen, the first generation of trap music, people like me, Jeezy, Yo Gotti, you know what I’m saying?” T.I. remarked during his time onstage. “We were rapping about things we had done, got away with, and moved on. You hear me? You listen to [this] new age trap music? Oh, they are talking about s**t they finna do tomorrow, you feel what I’m saying?” The crowd erupted with laughter during these comments, and it was very interesting to see what elements of today’s hip-hop he finds funny.

T.I. Jokes About Today’s Trap Rappers: Watch

Not only that, but this adds to T.I.’s recent comments on the younger generation of rap artists on Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Podcast. “This generation reminds me of every other generation,” he expressed. “You got some people who are exceptionally dope, and some people who are just alright. You know what I mean? But it’s a lot more of it to choose from now. I feel that, actually, what they’ve done with music is equivalent to if they were to open up the doors of the arena and say, ‘Anybody think you can play basketball? Come on out the stands out here to the floor. Here you go, a jersey, man. Get in the game.’”

Elsewhere, the 43-year-old discussed the possibility of getting an ownership stake in a sports team one day. “So many of my contemporaries like Nelly, you know, he got a piece of Charlotte, and Usher’s got a piece of Cleveland,” he began. “You know, people be asking me, ‘Would I ever do it?’ And I don’t think I would, you know? Because I just can’t see me taking so much of my money, investing it in something, and I can’t do what the f**k I wanna do. I just can’t imagine that. I’m gonna put my money into something where I can dictate, and I can determine, the way it’s gonna go.” For more news and updates on T.I., keep checking in with HNHH.

Kenny Mason Finally Delivers New LP “9”

Kenny Mason is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia that has always been an intriguing name since he got started in 2016. For most listeners though, he did not really start getting some notoriety until about 2020. That is when he put out his first full project Angelic Hoodrat. Then, in 2022, the multi-talent put out his longest tape to date, RUFFS, with 16 tracks. However, he has not really come close to dropping something that large since. That trend of shorter LPs continues for Kenny Mason on his latest offering 9.

This is somewhat of a continuation of Mason’s previous number titles, 6 and 3, with the latter being an EP. For this third multiple of three record, he is showcasing his abilities to make digestible and dark trap cuts. However, to add to his appeal, Kenny sprinkles in some tracks such as “LUMINOUS” were he rides a smooth and elegant boom-bap instrumental. On top of this solid output, he has some other exciting things happening.

Dr. Dre Calls Eminem The Best Rapper Of All Time, Fans Debate

Dr. Dre was the most recent special guest on the SiriusXM show This Life of Mine… with James Corden, and they spoke about a lot of interesting and compelling topics. Of course, one of the main points throughout was the legendary career that he has amassed and created up until this point in the realms of music and business. When it comes to these endeavors, a lot of folks think that there was no better “investment” that the N.W.A. legend did than supporting the biggest rapper of all time: Eminem. It seems like he agrees with this statement at least a little bit, because he expressed on the program that he thinks Marshall Mathers is the best to ever pick up a mic.

‘My Name Is,’ that’s the first thing that happened,” Dr. Dre begins. “I put the beat on, and he just did that, right away. No, we’re in the studio, and I hit play on it. *imitates drum beat* And he just went, ‘Hi! My name is!’ It happened that fast, no bulls**t. And then, we went from there, and that was the beginning of this relationship. I think he’s the best MC ever. Point blank, period. Of course, there are going to be arguments about that because he’s a white guy. You know? I don’t think anyone that’s rapping can touch Eminem on that microphone.”

Dr. Dre Praises Eminem As The GOAT: Watch

Moreover, this prompted heavy debate on social media discussion forums, for both the reasons that Dr. Dre predicted and others. Many called out that he’s obviously biased in favor of Eminem, whereas others pointed to other rappers like Nas, Jay-Z, or his own former partners Ice Cube or Snoop Dogg as better lyricists and spitters. Regardless of where you fall on this debate, it’s pretty undeniable that the Detroit star has a permanent place in these discussions. So do many other rappers, like the ones we’ve already mentioned, but there’s a unique cultural perspective on the Slim Shady debate in particular.

Meanwhile, both artists are making continuous strides in their careers that are keeping up their relevance and impact. Sure, sometimes it’s because of petty rap beef, but we can’t ask for everything to be perfect. All we can ask is that you chime in on this take down in the comments section below. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Eminem and Dr. Dre.

Future Supports Gunna In Tweet But Then Deletes It, Disses “Rats” In Snippet

Future and Gunna used to be pretty frequent collaborators, but just like with every other MC in the mainstream game, that relationship soured following the latter’s plea deal in the YSL RICO case, bringing about accusations of snitching. However, it seems like he’s starting to re-enter the rap world and its higher echelons following a highly successful 2023. Moreover, Wunna released his new single “Prada Dem” this week, which is a collaboration with Offset. Turns out that this might be more of a contentious, consequential, and possibly door-opening collab than what we originally thought.

Furthermore, Future actually co-signed Gunna’s new song, taking to Twitter earlier this week to promote “Prada Dem” (interestingly, he only tagged Offset). Yet shortly after, he deleted this message from his social media, leading many differing fanbases and opinions to either lament, celebrate, or criticize this move. It’s a tad ironic that this is still a prevailing narrative because the Drip Season rapper actually denies claims of being a rat on this new single. “I set the trend, I’m a trendsetter/ I’m not a rat, still getting cheddar,” he raps on the cut, something that his “pushin p” collaborator might not agree with.

Future Tweets & Deletes Support For Gunna

Not only is this assessment due to this tweet and delete, but it’s also due to a recent snippet that Future posted titled “Type S**t.” It’s rumored to be a collab with Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti that might land on Metro Pluto’s upcoming two albums or on Carti’s new material. That part is a bit unclear because of how everyone involved has teased the song, as well as the producer’s earlier claim that his Fewtch collab projects (or maybe just one of them) won’t have features. The reason why this is relevant here is due to some bars that people think might target folks like Gunna.

I don’t hang with rats, that’s some new type s**t / Get a n***a whacked on new type s**t,” the DS2 legend raps on the cut. Do you think this collab will land on an upcoming project, and is it really a shot at his fellow Georgia artist? After all, how many times have we heard hip-hop artists talk smack about the general concept of snitching? However you may feel, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below.
