Cardi B Speaks On Her Real Net Worth & Her Issues With Making Music Today

Cardi B’s on quite the press run recently, as it looks like she will finally drop her long-awaited sophomore studio album sometime soon. After all, she’s dropped a couple of singles, high-profile features, and remixes in the last few months, most recently of which was the track “Enough (Miami).” But the Bronx superstar also has a lot to look back on when it comes to her career, and a lot of explaining to do when it comes to her relationship with music. Moreover, during a recent interview on 360 With Speedy, she reflected on her financial success and what her issues are with music today. “Uh… Jesus Christ,” the 31-year-old answered when asked about whether her reported $80 million net worth is accurate. “I made a lot of money, I made a lot of money.

“I feel like I’ve actually passed almost doing $80 million,” Cardi B went on. “Like, I make a lot of money, I make a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot of money. But I also got a lot, a lot of bills. Like you said, your family, right? I take care of all these -– I’m helping a lot, I’m not gonna say I take care. I help a lot of my friends and I help a lot of my family and everything. I have no choice [but to help]. How can I say no and I’m buying Birkins? I don’t like [helping] when I feel like they’re playing with me. Because it’s like, ‘Alright, if you’re so broke, if you’re really going through some s**t, I just seen you outside.’ I remember when I was broke, I was never outside.

Cardi B Speaks On Being Worth More Than What The Internet Says

“Like, I just seen you buy some designers,” Cardi B continued. “Even when I was a stripper and I had times that I struggled, I was not buying none of that s**t. So it’s just like, when I feel like I’m being played with, it’s like, ‘Alright… Don’t play with it.’ No, [I don’t say no]. Barely. Sometimes, it’s like… that s**t don’t make no sense.” “I have a couple of problems with music,” she added later in the conversation. “I feel like I don’t like nothing. That’s one of my things. Because I record a song, I love it, two days later, I’m over it. To be honest with you, I don’t really like anything that’s out right now. I listen to music that came out 8, 10, 20, 30 years ago.

Bardi On Her Issues With Music Today

“Maybe I’m just so into breaking things down now,” Bardi shared. “You know, where you overanalyze everything, your music and other people’s music, that I don’t know what I like anymore. Also, it’s just not as fun anymore. Like, when you go to the booth, or when you record, you’re just having fun, you creating. Now, it just be feeling like it’s a pressure. When I did… I call it ‘C**ty,’ because we named it ‘C**ty’ originally. I was having fun, I had fun recording it, I had fun doing the video. When it came out, Jesus Christ, I was like, ‘Damn! Hold up, I just came back, y’alls going too rough on me!’ I gotta get that off my mind because that’s what f**ks s**t up.” For more on Cardi B, stay up to date on HNHH.

Cadance Owens Calls Lizzo “Problematic” And Accuses Her Of Gaslighting

As part of her interview with Joe Budden, Candace Owens called out Lizzo for gaslighting people. Owens’ issues with Lizzo stem from the response to Lizzo twerking her bare backside at an NBA game. Owens said she had the right to call out Lizzo’s behavior as “problematic”. However, she felt “gaslit” when Lizzo defended herself by saying that it was a “you problem” if you took issue with her behavior.

Of course, Lizzo twerking at an NBA game is the least of her “problematic” behaviors. After all, the singer is currently fighting a fairly nasty sexual harassment lawsuit. Furthermore, Owens is sort of the queen of telling people that their opposing viewpoints are “their problem”.

Candace Owens Claims The US Education System Is Responsible For The Decline Of Rap Music

However, Lizzo wasn’t the only musician Owens went after. Owens blamed the US education system for the decline of rap music, citing Ice Spice‘s “Think U The Sh-t (Fart)” as an example. “I just don’t need to hear about Ice Spice’s farts, I just don’t. I don’t want to hear about it. We used to produce really good music and it’s gone down the drain. I think even that is international. I think it’s because it’s a part of the, ‘Let’s slowly make it modify the education systems so that Black people can’t read and, at the same time, feed them with a pipeline of garbage,’ and you will wake up one day, and what surrounds you will be garbage,” Owens declared.

Owens might want to sit this one out, given her support for PragerU, a right-wing “educational” platform infamous for its wild propaganda-ized and inaccurate videos. However, it’s not the first time Owens has gone after that specific Spice track. “If you’re wondering whether or not it’s a good song, what do you think? It’s called “Think U The Sh-t (Fart)”. Now I think we can all admit that we’ve fallen as a society. I mean, I wouldn’t say that was Mozart or Beethoven, but I’m not all of these mainstream media publications that routinely run to defend this kind of music similar to what they did with ‘WAP’ the most disgusting and filthiest lyrics I’ve ever read. They will then sit down and write an article trying to convince you that what you just heard was magical and they did this with this Ice Spice song,” Owens ranted.

Kanye West Outlined Several Reasons Why ‘Vultures 1’ Sounds ‘Better Than Other Albums,’ Most Notably, Its Stripper-Inclusive Budget

Ye’s (the artist formally known as Kanye West) out-of-the-box thinking has been a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it has made the “Carnival” musician a decorated, highly-revered producer in rap. By the same token, it has cost him several relationships with brands and fellow recording artists.

Even still, his latest collaboration album, Vultures 1, with Ty Dolla Sign, has achieved massive feats on the music charts. In a now-deleted interview with Big Boy TV, Ye spoke about the business end of recording the project. While chatting with host Big Boy, he stressed the duo’s decision to take the direct-to-consumer route, influencing the project’s budget.

However, when Ye outlined the line items of Vulture 1’s expenses (which, of course, have a designated affordance for strippers, amongst other things), viewers couldn’t help but find the humor in the creative demands.

“A part of the reason why it’s so much better; obviously, we have super mega talents, but it costs a lot to make this album too,” he said. “We were in Saudi [Arabia] and Italy. Flights, car service, and strippers… you know it was expensive.”

Big Boy sarcastically added without missing a beat: “You gotta have that. It’s the lifestyle.”

Vultures 2 is currently in the works. As of today (March 16), it is unclear when fans should expect it.

Dwyane Wade Unbothered By Painted Nail Hate

Dwyane Wade has expressed how little he cares about the hate he gets for his painted nails in a new interview with High Society. “My father has always been a man who would take care of himself. My uncles took care of themselves. I wanted to be one of them sharp-dressed men who smelled good, who stayed clean-shaved, and all that. I’ve been getting my nails painted since 2007,” Wade said.

Furthermore, he also noted that his fashion decisions were a conscious choice. “I’m all about scanning details of people, because it shows you a lot about how people care about themselves. Me and my body, we love putting on clothes,” he said. “It’s not something I play around with. It’s a part of my personality, it’s a part of my lifestyle. So I’m not just wearing clothes. I put that sh-t on,” he continued.

Dwyane Wade Recalls Yelling At LeBron James During 2011 Finals

Elsewhere, during a podcast appearance last November, Wade recalled yelling at LeBron during their 2011 Finals run. The infamous moment occurred during Game 3 of the matchup against the Mavericks, with the series tied at 1-1. “I knew our relationship. I knew I could talk to Bron, because he could talk to me the same way. We ain’t sensitive. […] In that moment in Dallas it was coming down to me and him, and I didn’t feel like he was playing to the level he needed to for us to win. That moment may not have been for that finals, but the next finals, and the next finals, and the next finals,” Wade told the Point Forward podcast.

Miami would win Game 3, but drop the next three games to lose the series. After this, the clip of Wade getting in LeBron’s face went viral. However, it also appeared to change LeBron. His stats improved across the board and the Heat would win back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014.

Wizkid Rants About Not Being An Afrobeats Artist While Updating On Next Album

Wizkid just finished his next album, as he let fans know on Friday (March 15) via the Instagram social media platform. But apparently, before this new phase of his career begins, he wants to set the record straight on some important matters concerning his artistry and his image. “Album done! [eagle emoji] See you soon b***hes!” the “Loju” singer began. “And pls Abeg if u like Pakurumo wizkid don’t download this new album… in fact delete me from ur playlist and your life! [heart emoji] [eagle emoji] And if u like afrobeats pls don’t download my album! I am not a f***ing afrobeats artiste! Don’t call me that h*e! I am not Afro anything b***h!”

Overall, there were a lot of divided reactions to this rant online, with some criticizing his assessment and others defending his perspective. On one hand, the Nigerian superstar shouldn’t be boxed into a single genre or style, and not all of the music he makes necessarily falls under the umbrella of Afrobeats. On the other, Wizkid is definitely one of the biggest names associated (however lightly) with the genre. After all, he became the first African artist to get three platinum songs, and folks will immediately tie his success into that of the larger genre, even if simply calling him an Afrobeats artist might not accurately convey the full picture of his artistry right now.

Whether or not you agree with this rant, it’s hard to deny all the work the 33-year-old has put in to expand his artistry beyond what the market pushed onto him. In fact, plenty of business executives, industry workers, and fellow artists have tried to take credit for the growing popularity of African artists worldwide. But none of that matters without the artists themselves. As such, Wizkid is free to make whatever kind of music he wants and define how he wants the music world to perceive and celebrate him.

Meanwhile, what do you think about these comments and assessments, especially with the debate around them in mind? Is the More Love, Less Ego unquestionably an “Afrobeats” artist? However you may feel, let us know in the comments section down below. Also, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Wizkid.
