Users Online Are Relentlessly Clowning ‘BMF’ For The Show’s ‘Off-Brand’ Casting Of The Late Tupac In Its Latest Episode

50 Cent’s original series, BMF, is all about the rise and fall of the Black Mafia Family. The public remembers the real-life enterprise as ‘Blowin’ Money Fast,’ thanks to its many references in rap music. But its latest episode shows that writers are the ones speedy through materials. Users online have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to call out the show for what they believe to be a historical inaccuracy and a questionable casting decision.

In its latest episode, “Sanctuary” (Season 3, Episode 3), the series’ main character, Meech (played by Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., yes, that’s his actual father) so, happens to run into the late Tupac (played by Mason Douglas). The episode’s description explains that the encounter, seemingly inspired by true events, would’ve taken place at the Jack the Rapper Weekend in 1993.

However, users online couldn’t help but clown the series for the ‘off-brand’ portrayal of the rap legend. Others called about the series from time jumping, making the encounter highly unlikely.

Check out a few of the responses below.

“‘BMF’ can’t be serious with this TEMU version of Tupac,” wrote one user.

“Boy, what da f*ck LMAO,” penned a user.

“And people thought it couldn’t get any worse than Anthony Mackie’s version of Tupac,” laughed one user.

“3Pac,” joked another.

“TUPAC NOTSHUR,” added another.

Some users attempted to defend the scene by verifying the event details. “For everyone confused, Meech is attending the 1993 Jack the Rapper convention; that’s why Tupac is bald. They briefly show us the Wu-Tang Clan and Kid n Play, too,” explained one user.

But others were going for the breakdown. “It’s supposed to be 1990/91 in the show, though, not 93. Season 1 was 89. Timelines aren’t matching up, and that’s where the confusion is stemming from,” replied a user.

BMF is exclusively available on Starz. To watch the latest episode, click here.

Kodak Black Endorses Donald Trump

Kodak Black has vocally endorsed Donald Trump. However, the rapper went well beyond simply stating his voting preference. “We should have Donald Trump in office for 20 years,” Black declared. Of course, this is not the first time that Black has linked up with the former President. Trump gave Black a presidential pardon, though that action did little to curtail Black’s run-ins with the legal system.

“I’m mafioso, bruh. He a Gemini just like me. His birthday three days after my sh-t. And that boy, he be vibing out here too [in Florida]”. Black told Drink Champs last year. Furthermore, Black said he wouldn’t hesitate to give Trump $1 million if the former President asked for it. He’s not the only rapper to endorse Trump as of late. Earlier this week, Money Man also threw his hat behind the embattled former President.

Donald Trump Promises “Bloodbath” If He’s Not Elected, Campaign Tries To Backpedal

Elsewhere, Trump once again threatened the end of democracy in the United States if he does not win the general election in November. “Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories. If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country,” Trump said in a speech in Ohio. Trump’s comments were riffing off previous ones he had made about the Chinese auto industry.

However, Trump’s campaign has attempted to mitigate his comments. “Biden’s policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and autoworkers,” campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told NBC. However, it’s not the first time Trump has alluded to ending democracy in November. In previous speeches, he has warned of a violent rebellion if he does not win. Meanwhile, leaked documents have shown Trump’s plan to essentially install a military dictatorship if he is elected.

Blueface’s Mom Addresses Domestic Assault Allegations, Says He Never Planned To Get Serious With Chrisean Rock Or Jaidyn Alexis

Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold recently spoke on his volatile relationships with Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock, his alleged and documented domestic abuse as dealer and receiver, and his supposedly non-committed intentions with these partners. “John not about to put his hands on no female, on no woman, unless you hit him to the point where he have to,” she began on Instagram Live. “We all watched that, y’all gon’ play dumb ’til kingdom come. That we watched Rock damn near beat his a** on the street corner before he returned fire. We gon’ find out, we gon’ find out.

“‘Cause John got some females he done dealt with for a long time that ain’t never put their hands on him, and he ain’t never put his hands on them,” Karlissa Saffold continued concerning Blueface. “You got some women out here that love the man more than they love themselves. They’ll just swing on a man until he have to defend himself. Why would you do that? He ain’t tell not one of y’all he wanted to be with y’all.

Blueface’s Mom Speaks On His Relationships & Domestic Abuse: Watch

“If we go Google right now, did John say he wanted to be with Chrisean, it’s gon’ pop up from day one that he said no,” Blueface’s mother claimed. “It’s gon’ pop up that he told Jaidyn, ‘I’m not ready to be serious.’ Ever since he was 16 years old. ‘I like you a lot, but I’m not ready to be serious.’ So when a man tell y’all that, when a man tell y’all that, take that with a grain of salt! He don’t like you like that, he not ready for that. He may not be ready for that.

“Hell, his daddy ain’t even ready for that,” she concluded. “My husband said he wasn’t ready. He knew he wasn’t ready ’til he was almost 40. Some men just ain’t ready! That’s what it is. You have to respect that. You can’t beat him up to do it, you can’t punch him to do it, you can’t get mad at him to do it, you can’t make no man be ready until he ready.” For more news and the latest updates on the world around and adjacent to Blueface, stay posted on HNHH.

Diddy Posts Up With His Daughters On Instagram For Rolling Loud L.A.

Diddy, his family, and his team have been pretty low-key ever since a wave of sexual assault accusations and lawsuits against him arrived at the tail end of 2023. With little public appearances, statements, or other acknowledgements since this massive story broke into the pop culture sphere, they’ve been waiting out the storm. Still, that doesn’t mean that they completely disappeared from the public eye, as social media accounts are still active. Moreover, Sean Combs posted a picture of him with his eldest daughters, twins Jessie James and D’Lila and Chance, on his Instagram account recently. They all donned black or grey outfits and put on smiles and duck faces for the snap.

Furthermore, this is probably a picture from Rolling Loud Los Angeles over the weekend, as footage emerged of the Bad Boy mogul’s twin daughters at the Nicki Minaj set on Friday (March 15). Not only that, but Diddy, his son, and some members of his team attended Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES “performance” for the festival. Considering how both he and the Chicago artist are in a lot of public hot water right now, this show of solidarity and support is curious. It’s also notable thanks to their previous clash over the latter’s “White Lives Matter” T-shirts from all the way back in 2022.

Unfortunately for Diddy, it doesn’t look like things will get any easier for him. For example, recent reports on his charter school paint a dark picture of understaffing, high teacher turnover, and frequent violence. “He was supposed to be an inspiration to those children, coming from what you might consider the hood. He was not,” one parent shared with The Cut. “I thought if Diddy is funding and attaching his name to something, it would be run very tightly. That he was going to give our kids what he didn’t have at that age,” another added.

Meanwhile, with possible settlements on the horizon, we still don’t know to what extent these situations will go. However, what we can hope for is that the family doesn’t suffer for the father’s alleged crimes if authorities do take action against him. For now, it’s a waiting game. On that note, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Diddy.

Post Malone And Quavo Treated The 2024 Rolling Loud California Crowd To A Surprise Performance Of ‘Congratulations’

It’s been a bumpy road to 2024 Rolling Loud California. From accusations of racist business practices to booking mishaps, the multi-day event was off to a rough start. However, since it kicked off on Thursday, March 14, everything’s been smooth sailing (not counting the Kanye West debacle).

Yesterday (March 16), Post Malone closed out the day with a head-banging set of his biggest hits. As an added bonus, Malone treated the sold-out crowd to a surprise performance of his hit song, “Congratulations,” alongside his collaborator Quavo. The former Migos member crept up onstage to deliver his verse as the audience grew hyped with the instrumental blaring overhead.

Initially released in 2016, “Congratulations” was produced by Metro Boomin and appeared on Malone’s Stoney album. Since it was shared, the record has gone on to earn diamond certification by the RIAA, selling over 14 million copies.

In 2022, during an appearance on the Full Send podcast, Metro revealed that the collaboration wasn’t actually planned but a result of a scheduling conflict.

“He called me, and so I came to the studio one day,” he said. “The same day, I was supposed to pull up on Quavo, on the same night. So, he called me while I was [working] with Post and said, ‘Where are you? What are you doing?’ So, I pulled Post to the side and said, ‘Man, you ever did a song with Quavo?’ He said, ‘Nah, but that would be dope though.’”

Years later, the song continues to rack up massive streaming numbers.
