Kodak Black Is Baffled By Donald Trump’s Claims About Haitian Immigrants

Donald Trump really tested the limits of his supporters’ patience during the Presidential Debate. The former President claimed that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio are eating cats and dogs. This is a statement that didn’t come with any evidence. It has subsequently been disproven, and has already been identified as a low point in Trump’s campaign. Kodak Black has been a vocal Trump supporter for years, but even he was confused by what he heard. Especially given the rapper’s Haitian heritage.

Kodak Black addressed Trump’s comments during a concert. “That sh*t crazy,” he noted. “That sh*t true? Man, I ain’t gonna lie, homie, I’m a muthaf**king Trump supporter.” The more the rapper spoke on the matter, though, the more he seemed conflicted. Kodak Black even vowed to pay a visit to Ohio to see whether Trump’s claims were true. “I gotta see this sh*t. I ain’t smelling that,” he claimed. “I ain’t see no Haitian eat no cat, homie. When y’all show me a Haitian eating a cat, then y’all can say that sh*t.”

Kodak Black has been singing the praises of Donald Trump for several years. In 2023, the rapper explained why he found Trump appealing during an episode of Drink Champs. “He a Gemini like me,” Kodak explained. “His birthday two days after my sh*t. And that boy, like, he be vibin’ out here too.” Kodak Black also claimed that Donald Trump was the best thing for the United States in a 2022 tweet. “We need Trump in office forever, man,” he asserted. “Just like how them Chinese and Russian and Korean motherf*kers have their president. Trump the best thing for America.”

The rapper’s tone was noticeably more skeptical during his recent stage rant, however. Instead of claiming that Donald Trump was benefiting the country, Kodak expressed doubt over what he said and how it reflected on his own people. His doubt did not mean he was switching over to the Democratic Party, however. “I feel like we f**ked anyway,” he told the crowd. “I ain’t with that Kamala Harris sh*t either. What the f**k going on in America?” Kodak may not have the answers, but he’s asking the right questions.

Famous Dex And Diego Money Link Up For “Dex & Diego Wave Bros, Pt. 1”

Famous Dex and Diego Money make “wavey” music. It’s groove-based, and reliant on catchy flows more than dense lyrics. These two rappers know what sounds good, so it should come as no surprise that they manage to preserve this baseline catchiness on their first joint EP. Dex & Diego Wave Bros, Pt. 1 is not a particularly clever title, but the duo manages to make up for it with a batch of brief, punchy songs. The first song, “Bentley Truck,” is a hypnotic slice of Autotune pop-rap in which Diego Money takes center stage. Famous Dex sounds eerily like Lil Yachty at points, but it still works.

There’s a decent amount of versatility on Dex & Diego Wave Bros, Pt. 1. “Balenciaga” is a slowed down banger with slurred deliveries from both Famous Dex and Diego Money. “Dex & Diego 2” is a standout thanks to the squelching synth line that anchors the beat. “Got Dat Sh*T on Me” is the most generic cut here, as the two rappers rip off dated flows over an instrumental you’d swear you heard at least a dozen times over the last decade. Fortunately, Famous Dex and Diego Money recover with the standout closer, “Wrist.” The vocals are mixed oddly low, but it’s hard to deny how catchy the duo sound over the watery, dare we say, wavey instrumental.

Lil Reese Wanted By Texas Police After Allegedly Assaulting Ex Girlfriend

Lil Reese Allegedly Punched And Choked His Ex

The Houston Police Department confirmed that the woman had red marks on her throat when she filed her report. There were also fingernail scratches observed at various spots on her neck. Lil Reese’s legal representation has not responded to these claims, or the warrant that has been sworn out for his arrest. This is not the first time the Chicago rapper has been embroiled in a legal matter, though. Lil Reese was shot in the neck and critically wounded at an intersection in Country Club Hills, Illinois in 2019. Two years later, the rapper was grazed by a gunshot in a Chicago parking garage.

Reese was also arrested in July in relation to a rape case. TMZ reported that the rapper was taken into custody in Los Angeles, but he was cleared a month later. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office told the outlet that they decided not to pursue the case due to an insufficient amount of evidence. Reese was dismissive of the accusation when he discussed the matter on Twitter. “Some of these h*es be strictly for the streets,” he wrote. “You gotta just kno [sic] they ain’t wifey type.”

Diddy’s Lawyer Names Cassie As An Alleged Witness In Federal Case

Diddy’s federal case is taking shape. The hip hop mogul was formally charged with sex trafficking and racketeering on Tuesday, and was subsequently denied bail. He will be held until his trial gets underway. In the meantime, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, will speak on his behalf. Agnifilo voiced his frustration with the court’s decision to deny Diddy bail. He also alleged that Cassie, Diddy’s former girlfriend, will serve as a witness in the upcoming trial, according to The Jasmine Brand.

Cassie will allegedly be among the women who will testify against Diddy, according to Agnifilo. There is a possibility that the singer will take the stand during the case, but nothing has been confirmed. It’s telling that Diddy’s lawyer confirmed Cassie’s involvement in the case. At the same time, he attempted to tear down her character. Marc Agnifilo alleged that Cassie was actually the one who incited violence leading up to the incident in which Diddy assaulted her in a hotel hallway. The lawyer alleged that the singer hit Diddy in the head with a cell phone. He also claimed that Cassie’s infidelity lead to the confrontation in the first place.

Cassie’s involvement in the Diddy case has been alluded to for several months. TMZ reported that the singer was in contact with federal officers prior to the mogul’s arrest. She also reportedly worked with investigators as far back as April. A source close to Cassie told People Magazine that she feared for her life in the lead up to Diddy’s arrest. “It was terrifying in a very real way,” the source explained. “There have been so many people protecting Diddy for so long. It’s not an exaggeration to say her life was in danger through all this.”

The same source told People that Diddy’s arrest has helped Cassie at ease. Especially considering the fact that the mogul was denied bail. “It’s been really, really hard for her,” they asserted. “She was very hopeful that justice would come.” Cassie herself has thanked the fans and the music world for their support in light of her Diddy claims. “This healing journey is never ending,” she noted in a written statement. “But this support means everything to me. Thank you.”

Dolly Parton Doesn’t Think Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Was ‘Shut Out’ From The CMA Awards, Despite Receiving No Nominations

Dolly Parton is arguably the Queen of country music. So, when Beyoncé decided to creatively venture into the genre, she was sure to tilt her brim to her classic “Jolene.” Despite the homages to country greats, rising stars, and critical acclaim, Cowboy Carter was notably missing from the CMA Awards nomination list.

While the BeyHive are fuming over the “snub,” Dolly Parton feels differently. During an interview with Variety, Dolly Parton said she doesn’t believe Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album was intentionally ignored.

“Well, you never know,” she said. “There’s so many wonderful country artists that, I guess probably the country music field, they probably thought, well, we can’t really leave out some of the ones that spend their whole life doing that. But I didn’t even realize that until somebody asked me that question.”

Dolly went on to praise the project, saying: “But it was a wonderful album. She can be very, very proud of, and I think everybody in country music welcomed her and thought that, that was good. So I don’t think it was a matter of shutting out, like doing that on purpose. I think it was just more of what the country charts and the country artists were doing, that do that all the time, not just a specialty album.”

Dolly isn’t Beyoncé’s only Cowboy Carter collaborator to subtly address the matter. Although Shaboozey secured his own collaboration, he went on to thank Beyoncé for pushing the genre forward.

“That goes without saying,” he wrote. “Thank you, Beyoncé for opening a door for us, starting a conversation, and giving us one of the most innovative country albums of all time!”

Beyoncé hasn’t issued a response to the nominations list.

Nicki Minaj And Kenneth Petty Accused Of Dodging $500K Settlement Payment

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty never seem to make headlines for the right reasons. Minaj continues to be one of the most successful rappers in the world. Whenever Minaj’s husband gets involved, though, the results are complicated at best. The trend continued on September 17. Minaj and Petty were put on blast by a security guard who claimed they assaulted him. The guard won a settlement against the couple, but is now claiming that Nicki Minaj and Petty have yet to pay up.

The incident dates back to 2022. Thomas Weidenmuller, the security guard in question, filed a complaint against Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty in January. He claimed that he got into an argument with Minaj due to the way she was treating a female staff member. Weidenmuller then alleges that the rapper threw one of her shoes at him. The security guard says things only got worse from there. Kenneth Petty allegedly attacked Weidenmuller at the urging of his wife. The security guard initially sought $700K in damages. He agreed, however, to $500K as a default judgement when the celebrity couple failed to respond to the suit.

Weidenmuller may have gotten a court ruling in his favor, but Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have not cooperated. The Jasmine Brand reports that the couple are allegedly dodging the $500K settlement they have been ordered to pay. Weidenmuller has waited for Minaj and Petty to make good, but he has decided to file a memo highlighting their alleged dodging. The security guard filed both a memo of costs and a writ of execution against the couple in September. These filings have increased the amount that Minaj and Petty will ultimately have to pay. Prior to the filings, they owed $503,318. After, they owe an increased total of $526,110.74.

Ironically, Nicki Minaj recently made headlines for allegedly being owed money. The rapper took to the comment section of a DJ Akademiks TikTok to put JAY-Z on blast for his Tidal dealings. Minaj was one of the superstars who signed on to be a partial owner of Tidal in 2015. She claimed that she was never paid a cent, though. “I didn’t even get one red penny,” Nicki Minaj announced. “No one promoted it more than me outside of Beyonce. Lol chi.”

Lil Reese Is Reportedly Wanted For Allegedly Assaulting His Ex-Girlfriend, According To An Arrest Warrant

Lil Reese is reportedly a wanted man, and it has nothing to do with fans’ demand for more music.

According to TMZ, authorities are on hunt for the “All That Haten” rapper after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend. The outlet’s report accused Lil Reese of “punching and strangling” a woman believed to be his former partner.

Near the top of the month, Lil Reese was spotted in popular Houston, Texas nightclub, The Pinkhouse. While there, witnesses claimed to have spotted the two in close quarters. A bystander alleged that near 6:30 am, Lil Reese attempted to make romantic advances toward the woman but was “rejected several times” after which he “grew enraged.”

However, before the woman could de-escalate the situation Lil Reese allegedly became violent. A report obtain by the outlet claimed that Lil Reese “punched” the supposed victim “in the right cheek.” Then he allegedly “applied pressure to her neck with both arms.”

Fans of the alleged victim supposedly called the establishment’s security for assistance separating the two. Once the police arrived, they claimed to have “observed fingernail scratches and redness along the victim’s throat.” Ultimately, this served as enough for an arrest warrant. Houston Police Department have not yet made an arrest in the matter as they claim to not know where Lil Reese is currently.

Back in May 2021, Lil Reese was arrested in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois for domestic violence.

At this time, Lil Reese has not issued a public statement regarding the incident.

Aubrey O’Day Celebrates “Win For Women” After Diddy’s Arrest

Aubrey O’Day was ahead of the curve. The singer worked under Diddy for several years as part of the group Danity Kane. Since her time with the group ended, however, O’Day has been one of Diddy’s most vocal critics. She made it very clear that the Bad Boy mogul was far more sinister than his public persona suggested. She has seemingly been proven right, at least in the court of public opinion. Diddy has gone from hip hop icon to disgraced public figure in a matter of months. Diddy was arrested on September 16, and Aubrey O’Day could not have been happier.

The singer took to Twitter to celebrate Diddy’s arrest. “The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter,” she wrote. She also broadened the significance of the Diddy arrest to include all of the mogul’s alleged victims. “Women never get this,” the singer noted. “I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me.” Aubrey O’Day concluded her Twitter statement with an even more optimistic note. “Things are finally changing.”

Aubrey O’Day Felt “Vindicated” For Diddy’s Alleged Victims

Aubrey O’Day has prided herself on speaking out against Diddy over the last decade. She even claimed that the mogul tried to buy her silence by giving her a chance to buy the publishing rights to her music. O’Day recounted the offer during the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy. She claimed that it was less about publishing rights than keeping her from leveling accusations at Diddy and his associates in the future. Aubrey O’Day alleged that the contract she was offered included a “full release against all claims against Diddy and many other players.” Needless to say, she did not sign it.

In fact, Aubrey O’Day predicted that the publishing offer was the quiet before a legal storm. “It asked me to not have access to my experience and my story anymore,” she explained. “Then, I realized something really bad is coming.” The “really bad” is seemingly underway. Diddy has been denied bail, meaning he will be held behind bars until his trial gets underway. If convicted, according to BBC, the mogul will be facing fifteen years to life in prison.
