Slim Jxmmi Gets Called Out By Ex After He Gets On Live & Tries To Leave With Newborn

In September, a disturbing report surfaced with allegations against Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi. At the time, it was stated that the rapper allegedly punched his then-pregnant girlfriend, Kee, in the mouth, knocking her tooth out. The rapper’s mother came forward to defend him by calling Kee “toxic,” but Slim Jxmmi and his ex are once again going viral after he went Live. The video shows Jxmmi making a swift exit with their newborn in his arms as Kee screams for him to give her back her son.

Kee shared her version of events that led up to the altercation on her Instagram Story. “Since my baby’s father wants to go viral, I will clear some things up,” wrote Kee. “He came to my hotel room last night with intentions on making a live of me to try and clear his name. and make me look like I’m the bad person. he’s sending out the live trying to get people to watch it because no blogs have posted it. so he wants it to be seen.”

“My son is a month old, and Jim has seen him 3 times. I left where I live (Los Angeles) and went to where I had support because I had a Csection and he was refusing to help me in LA,” she continued. Kee claims that Slim Jxmmi argued with her via text before showing up at her hotel. “As soon as we met there, he went on live, so yes I tried taking my son and leaving my hotel room.”

She added that she had proof that following their son’s birth, she pleaded with him to help her because she was “exhausted” and still recovering from her surgery. “He would respond with ‘he’s not even two weeks old, he doesn’t need my attention right now,'” Kee recalled. “‘All he does is eat, sh*t, and sleep’ so yes, I stopped contacting him and left LA. I wasn’t going to keep asking for him to see him.”

After leaving L.A., Kee accuses Slim Jxmmi of threatening her, but later she decided to travel to Atlanta so he could spend time with the baby. “I want my son to know his dad, I got a ticket and came,” she said, adding that she’s been in the city for three days and Jxmmi spent a total of 12 hours with their baby. She claims that he put on a show for Live viewers to make it seem as if she was trying to keep the child from him.

“He was telling my ONE MONTH old son his mommy is a hoe and a thot. I’m neither. he is telling my son this on his live. so yes you damn right I’m trying to leave with my baby.” Kee added that the footage will be used in court to explain “why he cannot see my son legally anymore until he  gets help.” Swipe below to check out all the posts and footage of the infamous Live.

Eddie Murphy Rejected Ryan Coogler’s “Coming 2 America” Pitch Starring Michael B. Jordan

Next week, we’ll finally get to see what all of the Coming 2 America hype has been about. Thirty years after the release of the first classic film starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and a cast of acclaimed performers, the world will receive the sequel. Making a second movie was something Murphy and Hall had promised each other would never happen, but they couldn’t pass up the possibility all these years later. Rick Ross even rented out his palacious estate for production and it’s said that he landed himself a bit part in the movie, as well.

As the March 5 premiere date looms, Eddie Murphy shared that there was another Coming to America sequel pitched by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler. Unfortunately, Coogler’s vision didn’t mesh well with what Murphy had in mind and ultimately, he rejected the idea. “[Coogler] had an idea for Michael B. Jordan to play my son and he would be looking for a wife,” Murphy told The New York Times. “I was like, then the movie would be about the son, it’s not our characters, we already did that. It didn’t come together.”

Social media culture has often been criticized for its mass hysteria, Cancel Culture, and mob mentality, but Murphy admits it was seeing Coming to America tributes online that made him give the idea of a sequel a second thought. “The way the story ended was kind of like, ‘And they lived happily ever after,’” Murphy said. “Then all this time passed and the movie became this cult thing.”

“Catchphrases from the movie start working their way into the culture,” the actor continued. “Stores turning themselves into McDowell’s [where Prince Akeem worked.] I see Beyoncé and Jay-Z dressed up like the Zamunda characters for Halloween.” Do you think they should have had a film with Michael B. Jordan? Make sure to stream Coming 2 America on Amazon Prime Video on March 5 and check out the trailer below.

Columbus Short Claims Britney Spears’s Parents Called Him N-Word During Their Fling

The “Free Britney” movement gained new steam following the release of The New York Times‘s Hulu docuseries about her conservatorship. An episode was keenly dedicated to Britney Spears’s rises and falls during her decades-long reign in the music industry, including the head-shaving meltdown that reportedly occurred following an argument with ex Kevin Federline as she was being harassed by the never-ending flashing cameras of the paparazzi. In 2003, actor Columbus Short worked with Spears as a dancer and producer, and according to him, they had a brief fling at the time.

Last year, Short released his autobiography Short Stories where he reportedly detailed a racially-charged incident involving Spears’s parents. Short alleges that while touring in Rome, he and Spears had sex. “I was next to [Britney] while she was on the phone with them crying while she had it on speaker.” He said that he heard someone on the line say, “Why are you f*king that n*gger?” Short added, “Britney looked at me so apologetically, knowing I’d heard it. I shook my head and didn’t say anything, because what was there to say?”

It was a story that Short rehashed earlier this month while on Inside Hollywood. “I wasn’t shocked when it happened. Look where they’re from … they’re from Louisiana. The way it came out was so effortless, like that’s how they speak,” said Short. “I wasn’t shocked and I wasn’t hurt by it, I was just like, ‘Wow, this is, okay, I know who I am around here.’… Because they have Black bodyguards doesn’t mean behind closed doors they don’t use that word.”

“After that I felt like maybe [Britney] was using me to piss them off for some reason. I think she is a really sweet person that was tormented in a position on a high level that I can’t imagine,” he added. “I liken it to Princess Diana. She was the pop princess. Britney couldn’t go nowhere—her world [was] completely controlled in this bubble. There would be times that she would act out, and I don’t blame her. She was trying to find her way… I love Britney to this day… I feel bad for her. I wish the world knew the Britney I knew.”

After Short’s comments circulated, Brtiney’s mother Lynne Spears adamantly denied the incident ever occurred. “I want to be very clear. Those terrible words are not remotely in my vocabulary,” she told Page Six. “I would never say that to anyone, much less my daughter. Ever.” You can watch his interview with Inside Hollywood below.

“Gorilla Glue Lady” Tessica Brown Blasts LisaRaye McCoy, Says Da Brat & Fiancée Reached Out

Now that she’s learned a valuable lesson about hairspray versus super glue as haircare products, Tessica Brown has struggled with her newfound fame. Brown quickly became a viral sensation after she posted a video to TikTok claiming that her hairstyle hadn’t moved in a month because she used the super adhesive Gorilla Glue on her hair, causing a firestorm of social media responses. Her GoFundMe amassed tens of thousands of dollars and reports alleged that she planned on suing the company, but Brown would come forward to deny claims that she used the opportunity as a money-earning front.

Brown’s case has become a hot topic for pop culture commentators, and she has heard a few of the remarks made by LisaRaye McCoy that rubbed her the wrong way. “I don’t care how ghetto you are or how slow you are that you can’t even read or whatever and any of all of that,” LisaRaye previously stated. “You know better. You should have asked somebody.”

In a sit-down interview with The Neighborhood Talk, Tessica Brown called out the actress. “LisaRaye, they say she had a lot to say,” said Brown. Then, she mentioned McCoy’s role on The Player’s Club. “You don’t even know me. You’re judging me? You know, I like—you gon give us Diamond? You know what I’m saying?”

However, McCoy’s sister Da Brat and the rapper’s fiancée, Jesseca DuPart, apparently were kinder with their response. “But her sister, Da Brat, and her girlfriend, oh they sent me a whole box of Miracle Drops. Everything off their product line.” Swipe below to hear Brown speak about the actress and answer a few more questions about what it felt like being criticized by the entire world.

Saba And Femdot Seek Longevity In Their Optimistic Video For ‘Lifetime’

Chicago rapper Femdot earned his first big moment in the spotlight in 2019 thanks to his album ’94 Camry Music. Soon enough, his name started to appear more often, appearing on collaborations with Taylor Bennet, Pivot Gang, and more. Femdot returned last November with the tracks “Back Home” and “Lifetime,” featuring Saba. More than three months after sharing the two songs, Femdot and Saba reconnect in a video for the latter.

The rappers’ “Lifetime” collaboration details their hope for career longevity. Together, the Chicago rappers make it clear that want more than fifteen minutes of fame, and in the video they come together in a quiet field to look out to the horizon with the hope that their wishes become a reality.

The new video is the latest piece of content to arrive from Saba in what we hope leads to a new album. After going more than a year without a solo release, the rapper returned towards the end of 2019 with “Mrs. Whoever” and “Something In The Water” alongside Denzel Curry. Two months later, he returned with more music thanks to “So And So” and “Areyoudown? Pt. 2.” So who knows, maybe there will be more.

Yella Beezy Affidavit States He Had 5 Guns In Car When Arrested: Report

Love was in the air during Valentine’s Day weekend as people celebrated the holiday of love, yet Yella Beezy found himself on the wrong side of the law. The Dallas rapper, real name Markies Conway, was questioned by police in his hometown after they claim that they noticed Beezy’s vehicle had window tinted too dark. He pulled out of a strip mall and according to a recently released arrest warrant affidavit, Beezy failed to make a complete stop at a nearby intersection.

According to a report made by Dallas News, Yella Beezy was the only person in his vehicle during the traffic stop. The rapper was reportedly asked to roll down his window to speak with authorities and it was then that he told them that he couldn’t because his car windows were bulletproof. Beezy exited the vehicle and when police ran a check on his name, they found that he was a documented gang member and the affidavit states that an officer could see a firearm out in the open.

Not only was Beezy’s vehicle searched, but officers at the scene called in a drug-sniffing dog that allegedly showed that it had identified some trace of substance in the car. A search reportedly uncovered the guns listed below, and according to the report, Beezy admitted to owning the weapons. Because he’s a documented gang member with authorities, he’s reportedly not allowed to have handguns in his vehicle.

A Beretta PMX containing 19 rounds of ammunition. The gun had been reported stolen in Frisco.
An FN Herstal Five-Seven that had 21 rounds of ammunition.
A Sig Sauer P365 with 11 rounds of ammunition.
A Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard that had six rounds of ammunition.
A Springfield Armory Saint AR-15 pistol with a 54-round drum of ammunition. The gun had a wrist-brace that made it possible to fire the weapon with one hand.

In response, TMZ reports Beezy’s team alleged that the guns were registered, also reportedly stating that they believe the entire incident was a set-up.
