Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign, And Polo G Have A Field Day In The Luxurious ‘Headshot’ Video

After releasing his new song on Friday Lil Tjay returns today with an irreverent video for the propulsive “Headshot” featuring fellow New Yorker Fivio Foreign and friend Polo G. The three drill influenced rappers play William Tell at an opulent mansion, firing old-fashioned pistols at a group of butlers with apples on their heads. All three display much better marksmanship than most rappers do in real life, turning their targets to applesauce and leaving the domestic help unscathed. Tjay also communes with a giraffe, while the fountain outside is filled with models lying on pool floats.

Tjay’s year got off to a bumpy start after getting a video shoot searched and eventually getting arrested shortly after Christmas last year. After being booked on possession of guns and marijuana, he was released on bond. Getting back to work on his upcoming follow-up to 2020’s State Of Emergency, he released his video for “Calling My Phone” featuring Atlanta singer 6lack before apparently hunkering down to complete his album.

Meanwhile, each of his “Headshot” co-stars have also kept busy. Polo G just released his “For My Fans (Freestyle)” video in which he raps to the instrumental tracks for “Beat Box,” “Whoopty,” and “No More Parties,” while Fivio Foreign is a few months removed from his “Trust” video with the late King Von.

Calboy Stays True On New Single “Miseducation” With Lil Wayne

Chicago rapper Calboy has lost six close friends to gun violence in the last year alone, including KJ Balla. The 2020 XXL Freshman has remembered his brothers on his recent release Long Live The Kings, and he’s continuing to show respect with the release of his new Lil Wayne-featured single “Miseducation”.

The title of the song references Calboy’s love of Lauryn Hill’s album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, speaking about his own struggles with street justice and politics. The song is written from a third person’s perspective, marking one of the biggest moments in the 21-year-old’s life with Lil Wayne extending his co-sign.

The song premiered on Monday alongside a poignant video directed by Shomi Patwary.

CHeck out the new release below and let us know if you’re feeling it.

Quotable Lyrics:

Poppin’ off will get you popped for real, you know you not for real
You faker than some shiny white veneers
And if it’s smoke, it’s just a fire drill
I’ve been lying still, in the jungle even lions chill
I make a giant kneel
I heard Heaven need some volunteers

Kehlani Slams Kaalan Walker For Claiming She “Aborted” Baby: “Blatant Lies”

This week, actor Kaalan Walker decided to air out some alleged dirty laundry he had with Kehlani on his public Instagram story. “Of course my heart is broke from how you handled the situation with our child Kehlani… I wish you would have told me the truth instead of lying to me and aborting our child without me knowing.” These are some pretty heavy and serious accusations, but Kehlani took to Twitter in a series of now-deleted tweets where she blasted Kaalan as a liar.

“People are very aware of my following, and the eyes on me,” she reportedly wrote. “over the years i’ve watched people make up so many things to get a reaction out of me, to get eyes on them. i’m not making a single lie, or obsessed liar poppin.” She continued in another tweet, “people BEG me to speak on lies made up on me. people will call my phone and say aren’t you going to say something. truths might make me wanna have a back and fourth. blatant lies? have fun in your fantasy land it’s nothing i could say to control your crazy. it’s above me.”

While her tweets didn’t mention Kaalan personally, she took to the comments on an Instagram post that had screenshot her tweets, to discuss his sexual assault allegations, as she allegedly knows his victims. “I know his victims personally. i was asked personally and privately to back them up because multiple large platformed people/celebrities had literally left them on READ. if speaking up for abused women makes me ‘getting in someone’s business’ if it makes me ‘messy’ then i’ll absolutely be that.” Kehlani goes on to say that she doesn’t get any “clout” for inserting herself into such a traumatic situation, as she has also been a victim in the past.

Kehlani currently has one daughter, baby Adeya, who is 2 years old. Check out Kaalan’s original accusations and Kehlani’s response below.

Post Malone Embraces Country Roots With Two Covers

It’s no secret that Post Malone has experienced massive success operating in a hip-hop adjacent realm. Yet many of his fans recognize that his influences extend far beyond said realm, stretching deep into genres like rock and country. Though his eclectic tastes have led to a few unflattering accusations, it has also yielded positive effects for the melodist, who often surprises listeners with his versatility.

Over the weekend, Posty was part of a large lineup of Texas artists who held it down for Matthew McConaghey’s WE’RE TEXAS: GIDDY UP TO GIVE BACK fundraiser, an event focused on “providing safety and critical resources to those affected by the devastating winter storms,” as per the official YouTube description. Given the focal point of the event, Post opted to shy away from some of his more hip-hop-inspired sounds, instead embracing his country roots with a pair of classic covers.

Following a video message from the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin, Post Malone closed out the show with a laid-back take on Brad Paisley’s 2002 jam “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)”, followed by Sturgill Simpson’s “You Can Have The Crown.” While it might not be the Posty you know and love, it’s still nice to see him embracing the spirit of the event, representing his childhood home of Texas with guitar in hand. Check out the two-song set from Post Malone at the 02:04:15 mark, and show some love to his versatility in the comments below.

Polo G Mixes Things Up With His ‘Beat Box’ Freestyle, Adding ‘Whoopty’ And More

Now that seemingly everyone and their momma has rapped over SpotemGottem’s “Beat Box” beat, you could argue the trend has reached its peak and it’s all downhill from here. However, it looks like Polo G has found a way to mix it up and keep the party going for just a little bit longer. The Chicago journeyman’s “For My Fans (Freestyle)” video, in which he goes in on “Beat Box,” also includes beats from more contemporary hits like CJ’s “Whoopty” and Coi Leray’s “No More Parties.”

The three-part video, directed by Ryan Lynch, follows Polo and his crew as they roam the city, doing the dances from the songs’ various viral challenges — i.e. the Junebug on “Beat Box” — and has Polo switching up his delivery to match the respective beats. On the first, he’s got an aggressive, yell-rap style that plays with the aggressive 808s of “Beat Box,” then a mellower flow over “Whoopty,” until finally, he shows off his hum-rap on “No More Parties.”

Polo is just the latest rapper to try his hand at rapping over the “Beat Box” instrumental. Previously, DaBaby, Deante’ Hitchcock, and Mulatto all rapped to the track, with DaBaby’s and Mulatto’s videos causing minor controversies. DaBaby was censured by JoJo Siwa fans for name-checking the teen pop star, while Mulatto sparked a back-and-forth with Renni Rucci that had fans buzzing on Twitter.

Pooh Shiesty Teases King Von Posthumous Collaboration

Pooh Shiesty has quickly become one of the most promising young rappers to emerge out of Memphis, one of the hottest rap cities in 2021. The New 1017 representative has had the game on lock with his debut mixtape Shiesty Season and it looks like he’s applying pressure for the rest of the year too, announcing a new collaboration that may come as a surprise to his fans.

Taking to Twitter, Pooh Shiesty started teasing his next release, hinting that it could feature none other than O’Block’s very own, the late King Von.

“Shiesty x Von bout that time,” tweeted Pooh Shiesty this weekend. The post garnered a lot of attention, with people commenting their thoughts under it. For the most part, people are seemingly confused about the nature of this collaboration, wondering if Von would have worked with Pooh if he were still alive. Others are simply excited for this song to see the light of day.

Following the release of the Only The Family compilation album Loyal Bros, which featured multiple posthumous King Von verses, there has been a renewed spark in people asking for more Von drops. During a recent interview with VladTV, Von’s former manager Track revealed that the rapper still has about 300 unreleased songs in his drive. It seems as though one of them has gone to Pooh Shiesty.

Are you excited for Pooh Shiesty x King Von? We’ll keep you posted with more information as it becomes available.

Montrezl Harrell Reportedly Generating Trade Interest

Montrezl Harrell has been a solid pick-up for the Los Angeles Lakers so far this season. With Anthony Davis and LeBron James out of the lineup with injuries, guys like Harrell are expected to pick up the play and help keep the team competitive down the stretch. While this may be the case, it seems like it hasn’t stopped players like Harrell from being subjected to various rumors surrounding the trade deadline.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Charlotte Hornets have actually reached out about potentially acquiring Harrell. As Fischer explains, the Lakers have entertained the offer and are willing to do anything at the deadline, if they feel it benefits the team. Of course, with multiple injuries on the roster, the Lakers might be better suited towards keeping the team together, as is.

“Charlotte has also called the Lakers about Montrezl Harrell, Los Angeles’ bruising center, sources said, and the reigning champions appear willing to entertain offers,” Fischer wrote.

This week is going to be an exciting one for the NBA as the trade deadline officially goes down on Thursday, March 25th. You can expect there to be a lot of movement throughout this period, so be sure to keep it locked to HNHH as we promise to bring you all of the most relevant information.

Lil Tjay, Polo G, & Fivio Foreign Connect For “Headshot” Video

Lil Tjay recently connected with Polo G and Fivio Foreign for their new posse cut “Headshot,” an up-tempo track that saw inspired performances from all parties involved. Unsurprisingly, the trifecta came through to prolong the song’s life-cycle, dropping off some extravagant new visuals earlier this morning. Clearly, Tjay has been enjoying the benefits of a bigger budget, a fact that’s made abundantly clear within the opening shot.

Set at a luxurious manor, a well-dressed butling team puts in work to ensure the grounds are up to the trifecta’s pristine standards. As such, though the clip itself is hardly the most original, it’s certainly appealing in a visual sense due to the vibrant colors and picturesque setting. All the while, Tjay, Polo, and Fivio flex accordingly, engaging in high-stakes target practice and racing remote-control boats to their heart’s content. There’s even a giraffe on deck for good measure, strolling about the grounds as Tjay fires off his up-tempo verse.

Be sure to check out the new music video from Lil Tjay, Polo G, and Fivio Foreign, and don’t be surprised to see this one rising in numbers as the weeks go on.
