Zoe Saldana will be returning as Neytiri as will Sam Worthington as Jake Sully. Sigourney Weaver will be taking on a new role, while Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, and more have also joined the cast.
During a recent Directors on Directors conversation with Denis Villeneuve for Variety, Cameron explained that the crew is shooting both the second and third films simultaneously to save money.
“We mixed the schedules for ‘2’ and ‘3’ together, based on the types of scenes and the environments,” Cameron said. “I said, let’s just treat it like it’s a six-hour miniseries and we’re only going to go to Frankfurt once. We’re going to shoot all the scenes from ‘2’ and ‘3’ at the same time. That was more or less the motif.”
Check out the new trailer below and be on the lookout for Avatar: The Way of Water when it hits theaters on December 16.

Azealia Banks Claims Lady Gaga Asked Her To Beef With Nicki Minaj
Azealia Banks has returned to Twitter following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the platform, and it hasn’t taken her long to get back to her usual business of airing out other celebrities who engage in shady practices. While past rants have seen her target Kanye West, this time around, the “212” hitmaker spilled the tea on Lady Gaga, who allegedly has some issues with Nicki Minaj.
As VladTV reports, Banks’ gossip came out after fans suggested that she should collaborate with the “Just Dance” singer on a future song. “No. That woman has zero respect for Black women,” she wrote on Monday, May 9th.

“I cannot ever respect her for literally asking me to beef with Nicki Minaj on her behalf, I refuse and send a less incendiary song, insinuates that we’re gonna spill Nicki’s *human blood* (f*cking eye roll),” she continued.
In another post, the 30-year-old called out Gaga for allegedly mocking the late Aaliyah and doing an R. Kelly collab “out of spite.” She tweeted, “To slight the multi-decade Queen of Reinvention (Madonna), the everlasting iconic Queen of Effortless style, grace, beauty, RESILIENCE, and class (Aaliyah), openly admit to trying to distract Beyoncé during rehearsal, while sis is literally a less iconic Ace of Base tribute act.”
“The gays have been falling for her hodgepodge pseudo bs for years,” Banks slandered the House of Gucci actress before throwing in some Lana Del Rey shade as well. “Like her deep deep jealously and hatred for Nicki Minaj and the sneaky shit she was saying and trying to do behind the scenes was just gross,” the Harlem native concluded.
“If I want to beef or pop shit about Nicki I will do so on my own accord. I will never do a white woman’s bidding for her. TUH.”

Pusha T Says Kanye West & Drake Don’t “Make Good Music Together”
Pusha T says that Drake and Kanye West don’t have a single good song together, despite collaborating numerous times throughout the years. The It’s Almost Dry rapper discussed Drake and West’s relationship during a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast.
When asked about the two rappers overcoming their beef in 2021, Pusha remarked, “I felt like it was good for them. They play an industry game. I feel like that’s gon’ work for them and what they do.”

He continued: “I don’t even think they make good music together. That’s the wildest part. There ain’t even a hot record. Name it.”
When prompted with their More Life collaboration, “Glow,” Pusha responded, “What?”
Pusha added that he’s quite happy with where he’s at in his career: “I know exactly what my lane is. I know exactly what I’m doing, I know exactly who I want to be with, who I want to make records with. There’s absolutely no value in that for me.”
Both Pusha and Drake have had their own beef with each other over the years; however, Pusha left off any disses aimed at the Toronto rapper from his latest album. In an interview after its release, he explained that their disdain for each other feels “so old” by this point in his career.
