Kid Cudi Teases Fans With Snippet From 2019

Kid Cudi is one of the most influential artists of his generation. If it weren’t for Cudi, we wouldn’t have the likes of Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, and pretty well all of the melodic artists that seem to do huge numbers today. Having said that, Cudi has had a few ups and downs throughout his career, however, the last few years have certainly been kind to him as he is putting out some of the best material of his life.

There are plenty of old Cudi snippets that can be found on his social media page, and many of these snippets have never actually been released. If you are a super fan of a particular artist, then you know just how legendary certain snippets can be, and some instances, even the artists themselves are pretty self-aware.

Gunna’s Legal Team Claims He’s Innocent & Slams Prosecution For Using Lyrics Against Him

Gunna’s lawyers have come forth with a statement claiming their client’s innocence and have slammed the prosecution for planning to use lyrics against the rapper regarding the 56-count indictment leveled against members of YSL, earlier this week.

“Mr. Sergio Kitchens, known as Gunna, is innocent. The indictment falsely portrays his music as part of a criminal conspiracy,” says his attorneys in a statement.

The legal team is comprised of Donald F. Samuel, John A. Garland, and Kristen W. Novay. They went on to praise the rapper for his contributions to the local community.

“Mr. Kitchens has been an advocate for his community, and it is our privilege to advocate for him,” they added.

Among the lyrics that were listed in the indictment are 2016’s “Slime Shit,” on which Young Thug is accused of rapping, “I’m in the VIP and got that pistol on my hip, you prayin that you live I’m prayin that hit, hey, this that slime shit.”

Defending the decision to use music as evidence, Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis said in a press conference: “I believe in the First Amendment. It’s one of our most precious rights. However, the First Amendment does not protect people from prosecutors using [music] as evidence if it is such.”

Gunna surrendered to police custody on Wednesday and is facing one count of Conspiracy To Violate the RICO act.

Jack Harlow Finds Out Brandy & Ray J Are Siblings & Twitter Has Thoughts

Jack Harlow is the talk of the timeline right now. On Friday, he released his latest album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, and it seems that everyone has an opinion on it.

The rapper continued on his press run for the album which included a recent stop at Hot 97. During his appearance on Ebro In The Morning, he sat down with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Styles for a deep dive into his career and his recent album. The interview didn’t necessarily center solely around his latest project, though. At one point in the interview, the hosts begin playing Brandy’s “Angel In Disguise” but Jack clearly wasn’t familiar with her catalog. In fact, it seems like he was generally unfamiliar with her.

As the song played, the hosts asked Jack to guess the song and the artist. His first guess was Aaliyah and he was swiftly shut down before they offered him a few clues. Laura said that the artist once had a TV show before Rosenberg said, “Her brother is the reason why a lot of people are famous.” Ebro chimed in, “her brother had an amazing sex tape.”

None of these clues really helped. “Who’s Ray J’s sister?” Harlow asked with a genuine look of curiosity on his face. “Brandy & Ray J are siblings?! Nobody’s ever told me that in my life.”

As expected, the Internet had plenty of reactions to Jack Harlow’s response. Check out a few of the best ones below.

Here’s How Much Money LeBron James Has Made Over The Last Year

LeBron James is the best basketball player of his generation, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that he is compensated like the best as well. He makes a pretty good salary with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he has a lifetime deal with Nike that is going to be worth close to $1 billion by the time it runs its course. He also has a ton of other big endorsement deals which only help to increase his net worth.

In a new report from Sportico, it was revealed that over the last 12 months, LeBron was the highest paid athlete in the entire world. Of the top five athletes, three of them were soccer players, including Cristiano Ronald, Lionel Messi, and Neymar. The last athlete in the top five was boxer Canelo Alvarez.

As for the amount that LeBron made, well, it’s a lot. As the outlet reports, LeBron made $127 million in just 12 months compared to Messi who made $122 million. Of course, both of these amounts are extraordinarily high, however, it is still impressive for LeBron to top the list considering how basketball isn’t an international juggernaut like soccer is.

Either way, LeBron is someone who continues to stack up generational wealth, and there is a very good chance he makes this kind of money next year as well. If he does, we will probably see him top the list, yet again.
