maxresdefault 3

Kanye West won’t be performing at the GRAMMYs despite being nominated five times. Reported reasons include his social media antics, some of which target the show’s host and comedian Trevor Noah.

Hearing about the cancellation, Noah hit Twitter and delivered a statement: “I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye.”

Ahead of the cancellation, Noah spoke on The Daily Show about YE’s recent actions toward his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “Over time, Kanye has become more and more belligerent in how he tries to get Kim back,” Noah said. Later in the segment, Noah added, “There’s an element of a woman saying to her ex, ‘Hey, please leave me alone.’”

Following Noah’s segment, Kanye called the host a “koon,” leading to an Instagram suspension and the subsequent cancellation of his GRAMMY performance.

Kanye West has yet to speak on the cancellation, but The Game has.

50 Cent and STARZ are still going at it. As fans inch closer to the end of the first season of his Power Book IV: Force series, 50 Cent is unhappy that he will not have a product on TV for the next six months.

“I have 4 more episodes of FORCE, then I don’t have anything airing on STARZ for six months so y’all know the vibes,” 50 said. “FORCE is the highest rated premier of any show on the network. when they take too long to green light it, it pushes the production time line back. after tonight’s episode there are 3 left, April 10 it’s a wrap. Then 6 months till i have anything new.”

After 50’s statement, fans showed up in support:

“When I see the hurt and the pains of other people on Bad Boy, that motivates me to say something, so I don’t be deemed as a person who just made a bunch of money and turned a blind eye,” Ma$e said. “I’m not going to be like the rest of the people around Puff that don’t tell him he’s wrong. I’m not gonna be like the ‘yes’ men around him that see him ruining people lives and never tell him he’s wrong. More people on here will tell me I’m wrong, but won’t say anything to him.”

He added, “They’ll judge my beliefs, they’ll judge my Christianity, and they’ll say nothing to Puff. They’ll say nothing about it’s a concert for Biggie, and Biggie own daughter couldn’t get in. They don’t say nothing about that. But all of his friends got 50 and 60 tickets. We’re done with your games.”

On the new single, Ma$e made Diddy a direct target:

“Yeah, I’m just a Harlem nigga reppin down a Vegas strip with my own suge
You from Mt. Vernon nigga, go and rep your own hood
I’m not hating on your Billi worth
Right now, I’m only saying what you really work
You aint no architect
You just a nigga who know how to market death”

– Mase on “Oracle 2”
