Today’s solar phenomenon was overshadowed by a stellar announcement as global superstar Missy Elliott unveiled her history-making debut headline tour, OUT OF THIS WORLD — The Missy Elliott Experience.

The tour, featuring Hip-Hop legend Busta Rhymes, multi-Platinum-selling superstar Ciara, and mega-producer Timbaland, marks a milestone in Elliott’s groundbreaking career.

“This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts.’ Being the FIRST female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour,” shares Elliott. “Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family! So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!”

Produced by Live Nation in association with Mona Scott-Young of Monami Entertainment, the 24-city run will kick off on July 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. It will then traverse North America, stopping in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and more, concluding on August 22 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

In true Missy Elliott fashion, the tour announcement was accompanied by an OUT OF THIS WORLD visual spectacle crafted by her longtime collaborators, including director Dave Meyers, stylist June Ambrose, and creative director Hi-Hat.

Tickets for the tour will be available through various presales starting April 9, with general on-sale beginning April 12 at 10 a.m. local time on Missy-Elliott.com. Verizon customers will have exclusive access to a presale through Verizon Up, while VIP packages offering premium tickets and fan activations will be available via vipnation.com.

Clark, playing her final game for the Hawkeyes, showcased her scoring prowess with 30 points on 10-of-28 shooting. However, South Carolina’s relentless defensive effort limited her effectiveness, ultimately tipping the scales in favor of the Gamecocks.

“I wanna personally thank Caitlin Clark for lifting up our sport, she carried a heavy load,” Coach Staley said. “When she’s the number 1 pick in the WNBA draft she’s gonna lift that league up as well. So Caitlin if you’re out there you are one of the GOATS.”

The Gamecocks’ dominance extended beyond the scoreboard, as they asserted control in various aspects of the game, including rebounding, second-chance points, and bench scoring. South Carolina’s relentless defensive effort limited Iowa’s offensive opportunities and paved the way for their triumph.

With a remarkable season culminating in an unbeaten national championship, South Carolina solidified its status as a powerhouse in college basketball. The victory not only secured Coach Staley a significant bonus but also highlighted the team’s resilience and determination to achieve greatness on the court. Beyoncé is back on top of the Billboard 200 chart. Queen Bey’s reign over music continues as Cowboy Carter leads the Billboard 200 while holding the Top Country Albums chart.

Act II pulled in 407,000 album equivalent units for the first week, instantly becoming the biggest first-week total of 2024.

The album had 300.41 million on-demand streams, becoming the biggest streaming week for Beyoncé ever. She was also the first Black woman to hold the Top Country Albums chart.

Cowboy Carter is now Beyoncé’s eighth No. 1 album.

Themed “EVOLVE,” the event spotlighted women who have excelled in their fields while embracing personal growth.

With over 100 guests in attendance, the serene ambiance of blooming flowers and pastel colors set the stage for the occasion. Special performances by Nina Taylor and China Shadae added to the festivities.

Honoring women from various industries, including Essence Magazine, Amazon, and SocialWorks, WEMADE recognized achievements in entrepreneurship and career longevity. Monica Brown of “The Camp” and Bridgette Flaggs of Soule’ Chicago received the “MADE Maven” Award for their contributions.

Live performances, sponsored products from black-owned brands like EVN Skincare and Pear Nova, and drinks from TOST Beverage added to the event’s vibrancy. In a series of photos shared on her Instagram account, Sexyy Red showcased her transformation, rocking a chic black pixie wig paired with a white sports bra and red shorts. The photoshoot comes in response to derogatory comments labeling her as “ugly” and “hideous” on social media platforms.

Despite the negativity, Sexyy Red has been making major waves in the music industry. Presenter Stevie Wonder gave the Renaissance diva the award, and she came on the stage wearing nothing short of a country chic outfit with vintage black leather.

As Page Six reported, the Italian “fashion house’s iconic gold Medusa-logo hardware, cinched with a duo of blingy belts and finished with a cowboy hat.” Check out the pics below. The jackets had fringe trimming, and the matching pants were laced with studs.

Beyoncé didn’t stop there, as she was iced out. Page Six reports that her gear was topped off with double-row earrings from Zydo diamonds ($167,600) and a ring that costs around $19,000.

Act II: Cowboy Carter has been out since this past weekend, but Beyoncé has been rocking the cowboy look since early February around the Grammys, where she had a cowboy hat and Louis Vuitton to fit the occasion.

Megan Thee Stallion has officially announced her highly anticipated Hot Girl Summer Tour, which will kick off on May 14 in Minneapolis. Produced by Live Nation, the 31-city trek will feature special guest GloRilla, marking Megan’s inaugural headlining tour in arenas across the globe.

The tour will include domestic stops in major U.S. cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Houston and international performances across Europe, including shows in Scotland, England, France, Germany, and Ireland.

Tickets for the tour will be available starting with a Citi presale on Wednesday, March 20, followed by additional presales throughout the week. The general on sale will begin on Friday, March 22, at 10 am local time.

As the official card of the Hot Girl Summer Tour, Citi card members will have exclusive access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program. VIP packages, offering premium tickets and exclusive perks, will also be available for purchase.

The tour announcement follows Megan’s recent success with her latest single, “HISS,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February. This marks Megan’s third No. 1 hit, reaffirming her position as a dominant force in the music industry. Megan’s innovative agreement with Warner Music Group also allows her to maintain independence while accessing the company’s global resources and services.

Beyoncé Reveals 'Cowboy Carter' as 'Act II' Album Title

Beyoncé’s new country album Cowboy Carter is a bonafide hit on Spotify.

Here’s the rundown: Cowboy Carter is Spotify’s most-streamed album of 2024. But get this: that’s in just a single day since the highly anticipated release this past Friday. The streaming numbers are pretty nuts. Cowboy Carter has already been streamed 76.13 million times.

Here’s the comparison for context. Beyoncé’s last album, Renaissance, garnered 43 million streams, so Cowboy Carter almost doubled that total. 

TMZ also reported that this is the first time a country album has earned that accolade this year on Spotify. Cowboy Carter is also the biggest debut on Spotify from a Black female artist, well, ever.

Before the album broke records on Spotify, “Texas Hold ‘Em” had already been streamed over 200 million times. Insane.
