Zendaya Speaks on ‘Euphoria’ Season 3: ‘It’s Beyond Me’

Zendaya Reportedly Set to Earn $1M for Each Episode of 'Euphoria' Season 3

Regarding Euphoria returning to HBO, even Zendaya has no idea about the future of the popular Gen Z show.

Zendaya told Variety during the Los Angeles premiere of her new sports romance thriller, “Challengers,” that she has no say as to when production will ratchet up again. She’s credited as an executive producer, but it’s still not her call. She said: “I am not in charge. But, of course, if it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course. But it’s beyond me.”

Zendaya’s ambiguity comes just weeks after HBO officially announced that season 3 of Euphoria would be postponed. The Warner Discovery network made it clear that they are committed to shooting a new season in the future, but they were also committed to supporting the series stars’ pursuit of other opportunities while they figure things out about Euphoria.

On that note, Hollywood’s Euphoria cast is hot right now. Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard, starred in 3 films in the past six months alone, to varied levels of success. Hunter Schafer, who plays Zendaya’s romantic interest, starred in last year’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, a box-office blockbuster. And, of course, Zendaya starred in Dune: Part 2 and has many other high-profile projects coming up; it’s safe to say Euphoria or not; Zendaya and company are doing just fine.

Simone Biles ‘Broke Down’ After Viral Interview With Husband Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles admitted on the “Pivot” podcast that the intense backlash her husband, Jonathan Owens faced after his interview went viral took a toll on her mental health.

ICYMI, it all started when, back in December 2023, the NFL player stirred up controversy when he seemingly honestly claimed that he did not even know who Biles was, the most celebrated American gymnast of all time, before they began dating. Then, he took it further when was asked how he was able to get close to the Olympic gold medalist, Owens had the gaul to say he was more of a “catch” than him snagging the olympian. He tried to mansplain his answer by saying “I always say that the men are the catch,” the 28-year-old NFL player said.

Social media users were livid that he implied that he was a bigger catch than Biles, who was sitting there during the interview. How bad was it? It’s all in context. Can you blame him for being confident, or was he just being arrogant? You be the judge.

Biles said on the Call Her Daddy podcast that Owens “never said [she] wasn’t a catch.”

“He said he was a catch,” the 27-year-old exclaimed. “Because he is! I’ve never met a man like him.” She seemed to support her man even now.

After she went on social media, things took a turn. “I thought everything was OK, and then I go on Twitter and everybody’s like, ‘Divorce this man. He’s mean!’” Biles recalled. “I’m like, ‘He’s the sweetest. He praises the ground that I walk on.’ Truly, I’ve never met a man like him … he truly goes out of his way to do anything for me.”

Eventually, the social media chatter took a toll on her. “I thought it was hilarious at first and then it hurt my feelings,” she said. “One night I broke down and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this? You don’t know him. You don’t know who he is and if anybody’s met him, you know he’s the sweetest guy, will do anything for anybody.’”

She continued, “That really hurt that they were talking about my husband like that. For me, it’s like, talk about me all you want, but don’t come for my family, never.”

Biles was hurting. It got deep, but she wore a brave face. Despite the internet trying to tell Biles to divorce her man, the union is still going strong. “I mean, in Paris I think they will do a beautiful job and he doesn’t travel overseas too too much,” she said. “He had to get a passport — he never had a passport before,” she went on to say. “I’m excited for him to see the Olympics because football’s not in the Olympics and he always says it’s the hardest sport, it’s universal. So, why is it not in the Olympics?” she said joking.

The couple began dating in 2020 and got married three years later. What more can you say? Haters are going to hate.

SOURCE SPORTS: WNBA Draft Sets Record-Breaking Viewership

Caitlin Clark Drafted to Indiana Fever, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardso Form Duo in Chicago

According to ESPN, the WNBA Draft on Monday night shattered records, drawing an unprecedented average of 2.45 million viewers. The event reached its peak viewership at 3.09 million, marking a historic moment for the league.

This remarkable audience turnout reflects a significant surge in interest, with viewership more than quadruple compared to the previous year’s draft, which garnered 572,000 viewers. The last record draft stood at 601,000 viewers in 2004, notably featuring UConn’s Diana Taurasi as the top pick.

Monday’s broadcast marked the highest viewership for any WNBA telecast since 2000 when NBC attracted 2.74 million viewers for a Memorial Day matchup between the New York Liberty and the now-defunct Houston Comets. The impressive numbers underscore women’s basketball’s growing popularity and appeal, signaling a bright future for the sport.

In a historic moment at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Caitlin Clark, the two-time Naismith College Player of the Year, was chosen as the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm®. This selection marks a pivotal moment in the young athlete’s career, representing a significant milestone for both Clark and the Indiana Fever.

Clark, a standout guard from Iowa, showcased her exceptional talent throughout her collegiate career, leading her team to consecutive NCAA Division I women’s basketball championship appearances. With remarkable averages of 31.6 points, 8.9 assists, and 7.4 rebounds per game, she dominated Division I basketball, securing her place in history as the all-time leader in total points and three-pointers made.

Following Clark’s selection, the Los Angeles Sparks chose Cameron Brink of Stanford as the second overall pick. Brink, a formidable center-forward, boasts an impressive resume, including accolades such as the 2024 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year and the 2024 Lisa Leslie Award.

The team of analysts from CasinoenligneGuru became interested in how the popularity and activity of Caitlin Clark on social media changed after she became a national sensation, entering basketball history as the most productive player in the NCAA Division I history (both in women’s and men’s leagues) and winning the hearts of spectators by leading the Iowa Hawkeyes team during the March Madness 2024 tournament. Currently, she is in the WNBA draft and is on her way to becoming a professional in her sport and personal style.

According to calculations made, on March 30 of this year, the number of followers on Instagram @caitlinclark22 was 1,355,482, but today, after 3 weeks, this number has grown to 2,041,969! This impressive surge in popularity amounts to a new 700,000 fans and supporters!

The Chicago Sky rounded out the top three picks by selecting Kamilla Cardoso of South Carolina, a towering center who played a pivotal role in her team’s national championship victory.

However, one of the standout moments of the draft came with the Chicago Sky’s selection of Angel Reese. Reese, a 6-3 forward from LSU, was instrumental in leading her team to the national title in 2023. Her dominance on the court was unparalleled, as evidenced by her NCAA-record 34 double-doubles during the championship season. Reese’s selection marks a significant addition to the Sky’s roster, adding a dynamic player with a proven track record of success.

Returning down memory lane to the MySpace and Juicy Couture era, Sexyy Red has unveiled the video for her latest Billboard-charting single, “Get It Sexyy.” Produced by Tay Keith, the track has already amassed millions of streams and debuted impressively at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Directed by Des Gray, the video captures the essence of the early 2000s, reminiscent of BET’s “106 & Park” playlist. Sexyy Red channels the era’s vibes, sporting tall tees and putting her spin on classic internet dance challenges. Notably, internet sensation Soulja Boy makes a cameo, contributing to a catchy dance routine akin to “Crank Dat.”
