Lil Troy is reportedly fighting for his life after suffering a heart attack, last Tuesday. Legendary Geto Boys rapper Willie D shared the news on his social media pages over the weekend. On Instagram, he wrote, “Lil Troy Suffers Heart Attack.. Fighting for His Life,” while sharing a link to a YouTube video where he spoke at length about the situation. Willie began with the positive news being that he’s still alive.

“The bad news is, he’s not out of the woods,” he added. “I spoke to Troy this morning. He is alert, but he’s still in the hospital, where he’s been since Tuesday of last week. Family, we gotta do something about this health crisis that we’re having. We are losing too many soldiers. As I said in the opening, thank God Troy is still with us. But, so many more, including recently Fatman Scoop and BeatKing, who didn’t make it.” From there he brought up the health issues plaguing Scarface. “We gotta do better with taking care of ourselves fam,” he said. Willie went on the reveal Troy was already suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. “He was just getting winded trying to put on his shoes,” Willie explained.

Troy previously made headlines for escaping a near-death situation in 2021, when his 18-wheeler burst into flames on the highway. “Yesterday I had the scare of my life and the blessing of my life,” Troy posted on Instagram at the time. “My truck caught on fire while I was driving on the freeway and I was blessed that I was able to get out of traffic and pull over and get out the truck with no nobody getting hurt. GOD IS good.” He also told ABC13: “If you notice, I hit the highway, making money the fly way. You know what I’m saying? Truck driving is the new way.”

Irv Gotti concerned fans this week when Wack 100 alleged that he suffered a stroke, news that he then confirmed shortly after. However, it looks like he’s not wasting much time with this recovery, and is getting right back to his work in quite rapid fashion. Moreover, a representative for the Murder Inc. executive recently spoke to The Shade Room and provided the public with an update on his status. Apparently, he’s doing just fine and is now working on a DMX biopic, which is exciting news for fans of this era. Hopefully these two narratives of recovery and development don’t impact each other in a negative way.

“I’m getting older. That’s all. Only thing worse than getting old is not getting old,” Irv Gotti shared through his representative on Wednesday (August 28). In addition to the DMX film announcement, the rep also expressed Gotti’s disappointment with how Wack 100 revealed this private information publicly. “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago,” the rep had told TMZ on Wednesday. “He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”

Despite 50 Cent’s clowning (over romances unrelated to this stroke), Irv Gotti has previously spoken on his struggles with diabetes. “It’s rampant with Black people,” he said on Drink Champs last year. “What it does is, it starts deteriorating your body. No, [it’s not under contol]. I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes forever; it’s hereditary. When my [blood sugar] gets too high, shot [of insulin]. It’s reversible but you gotta change the way you eat, all that. But you know what’s f***ed up with diabetes? So anything that you’re gonna like or tastes good, horrible for you. Now what’s some nasty s**t? Broccoli… you supposed to eat some leaves or s**t like that.”

Meanwhile, Irv Gotti has also denied sexual assault claims against him. “Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies,” his representative stated.

He discussed his health during an interview with Sway In The Morning, last Friday, to promote his new film with Will Smith, Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The rumors have been running rampant throughout the press tour.

“There’s a rumor out there that I had a stroke. Man, and that’s totally not true,” he insisted on the show. “So, I just wanna clear that up. But I thank everybody for the concern and the love, and just thank you. But Marty’s all good.” From there, Smith joined in to joke: “There’s also a rumor, and I wasn’t gonna bring it up, that you’re a clone. That was the one that I heard. That you’ve been cloned.” In the comments section, fans defended the legendary actor. “Martin said he’s alright then let him be! “I truly appreciate all the love and support fr gain I’m human and I go thru sh*t just like everybody else which is why I’m so open about my life,” she began. “Because I know I feel alone but we are never alone,” Broadus added, “Someone is always going thru damn near the same. Still [at the hospital] hoping to be home soon.” She went on to share photos of some of the sweet gifts she’s received from loved ones, as well as a couple of visitors who came to cheer her up.

Broadus was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of six, and has taken a plethora of medications for it nearly her entire life. In a 2023 interview with PEOPLE, she described switching to an “all natural” approach, stepping away from medication and towards things like herbs, teas, exercise, and more. “I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself,” she explained. “I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. This occurred shortly after Buffalo Bill’s cornerback Damar Hamlin went through a similar thing. The sports community and the rest of the world surrounded the James family with tons of support during the rough time.

Luckily and thankfully, Bronny’s surgery went smoothly. He was back in the public eye just a few days later. Back in August, we got word on what caused this to happen. According to the medical professionals who attended to Bronny, it is an anatomically and functionally significant Congenital Heart Defect. These happen at birth, according to the CDC. “They can affect how blood flows through the heart and out to the rest of the body. CHDs can vary from mild (such as a small hole in the heart) to severe (such as missing or poorly formed parts of the heart).”

After many conflicting reports about his status, his daughter revealed in mid-May that he had been out of the hospital for several weeks. However, for the time being, Foxx continues to recover mostly in private. Even so, he has been spotted out and about.

However, Foxx has begun to make public appearances in recent weeks. He has been seen at TopGolf as well as playing pickleball. Furthermore, John Boyega gave a positive update from the premiere of They Cloned Tyrone. “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” Boyega said. “He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.” He continued: “I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes.
