Drake Gets Roasted For Debuting New Hairstyle In Duck Face Selfie

Drake’s social media antics never fail to capture the attention of both fans and critics alike, and the Toronto rapper’s latest Instagram story post is no exception. Last night, he shared a new selfie, sporting his signature duck face and debuting a new hairstyle. As far as his hair goes, he’s kept it simple compared to some of his other recent styles, ditching the braids entirely. This, of course, has prompted plenty of commenters to reference Kendrick Lamar’s line about braids on his Drake diss track “Euphoria.”

“‘What is it, the braids?’ Got to him,” one Instagram user in Worldstar‘s comments section writes. “Kendrick got this man to cut his whole hair off,” someone else jokes. Others are more concerned with Drake’s pose. “Why he always tryna kiss me thru the phone,” a commenter wonders. Some even speculate that he must be trolling. For now, whether or not that’s true remains unclear, but this is far from the first selfie of its kind.

Drake Shows Off Shorter Hairstyle In New Photo

Earlier this month, for example, he hopped online to post a mirror selfie. In it, he’s seen rocking braided pigtails and a similarly pouty facial expression. He got roasted for that one as well, though it clearly didn’t stop him from getting back on the Gram. It looks like Drizzy could have far bigger things to worry about these days than selfies, however.

Last week, he told his followers that he put $355K on Mike Tyson winning his boxing match against Jake Paul. “I’m late but I’m here money on the liiiiiiiiine for today,” he captioned his post. “And tmrw @stake I need some dubs.” Sadly, both he and Mike Tyson took major losses on Friday. He’s yet to comment on the lost bet, which was just one of many he’s lost so far this year.

Drake Gets Ripped To Shreds After Debuting Pigtails

Nowadays, Drake is someone who receives backlash for nearly everything he does, at least on some level. This includes his music, behavior, fashion, and more. It even includes his hair, which he frequently experiments with, trying out new styles and accessories. Recently, for example, he took to his Instagram Story to share a new mirror selfie. In it, he sports some braided pigtails.

As expected, his look has earned big reactions from social media users. Unfortunately, most of them aren’t feeling Drizzy’s latest hairstyle. They’re roasting him in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section as a result, making it clear that they do not approve. “He just don’t get it,” one Instagram user writes. “He pissing me off,” someone else says.

Drake Roasted For New Hairstyle

Luckily for Drake, not everyone is going after him over his new look. Many commenters are coming to his defense, and arguing that he must be trolling. “I think he just do this to piss people off,” one of them speculates. “He’s trolling for sure,” another insists. It looks like Drake has far more to worry about these days than his hair, however, as the Toronto rapper has big things in the works. He has a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR coming soon, which they both teased recently.

“Finito party people,” PARTYNEXTDOOR captioned an Instagram post last night. “Everybody, thank you, reloading…” Drake took the opportunity to respond, building even more anticipation for the eagerly awaited project. “$$$ THAT TIME,” he commented simply. The album does not yet have an official release date, but it’s safe to say that fans won’t have to wait too much longer. What do you think of Drake’s new hairstyle? Are you a fan? Does he deserve the roast he’s getting online for it or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Drake’s New Hairstyle Is Not Going Over Well On Social Media

Drake is facing tons of backlash on social media for a mirror selfie showing off his new hairstyle on social media. It features two braided pigtails with light blue bows, reminiscent of an iconic look from Snoop Dogg in the 2000s, as pointed out by HipHopDX. He finished the outfit by matching a denim shirt with blue jeans and an oversized leather jacket.

“His obsession with wanting to be a teen girl is so weird,” one user wrote. Another replied: “Just when I thought my day couldn’t get any worse.” Other users referenced Kendrick Lamar’s feud with the Toronto rapper. One fan posted: “When I see him stand by Sexxy Red I believe he sees two bad bitches,” while another wrote: “Kendrick hurt this guy so bad he’s transitioning.”

Fans aren’t the only ones who have been theorizing that Drake is hurting. After he gave a speech about dealing with fake friends and betrayal during an appearance at a club in Toronto earlier this month, Charlamagne Tha God remarked on The Breakfast Club that Lamar has him in shambles. “I thought that Kendrick’s execution of this battle was flawless, the strategy, the songs, everything, but I didn’t think that it had that much of an impact on Drake. Drake hurts. Oh my God. He is hurt,” Charlamagne said. He also brought up Drake allegedly going on an unfollowing spree on social media, adding: “You can’t go on an unfollow spree then go on a stage and cry about not having no real friends or whatever that was about.”

Beyonce Opens Up On Dealing With Psoriasis

Beyonce discussed her battle with psoriasis during her new interview with Essence ahead of the release of her new hair care line, Cécred. In doing so, she reflected on her father applying various treatments to her scalp when she was a child.

“I have many beautiful memories attached to my hair,” Beyonce told the outlet. “The relationship we have with our hair is such a deeply personal journey. From spending my childhood in my mother’s salon to my father applying oil on my scalp to treat my psoriasis— these moments have been sacred to me. The conversations and debates in the salons and barbershops create a sense of community for the people who look to it as a retreat from their everyday lives. For them, it’s a place to feel beautiful and vent, laugh, share secrets and pass down wisdom. It’s the most consistent community gathering we have. It’s so important that it’s a sanctuary.”

So I took the end of my name, Cé, and made it the beginning of the word sacred to create Cécred. From my mother’s salon, daily rituals with my father, and years of experience in developing a hair care line, the journey has been just that: Cécred.” The full interview with Essence will hit shelves on February 27th.

Celebrating the rapper finally getting his U.S. citizenship, Drake rapped on his new album, For All The Dogs. “Savage got a green card straight out of the consulate/ Where I go, you go, brother, we Yugoslavian.” Drake also brought out 21 in Toronto, earlier this month, to perform on the It’s All A Blur tour. The change in hairstyle comes after 21 and Drake decided to submit their 2022 collaborative album, Her Loss, for Grammy consideration. The move comes despite Drake’s repeated boycotting of the event. “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after,” he wrote on Instagram in 2020. “It’s like a relative you keep expecting to fix up but they just can’t change their ways.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Drake and 21 Savage on HotNewHipHop.

Drake’s New Hairstyle Gets Him Roasted On Twitter

Drake was recently seen hanging out with fellow artist Talameshia, debuting a creative new hairstyle. The Canadian performer rocks some luscious curls, which he styled with several rainbow-colored hair clips. Talameshia shared a photo of the two of them together on her socials, captioning it, “Just some Houston lightskins with our curls poppin.”

The post has left social media users questioning Drake’s new look. Unfortunately, for the most part, fans aren’t feeling it. “This is only allowed because of his status,” one social media user writes. Another says, “it’s a NO for me dawg.” Though most users are full of jokes about his new ‘do, some of his fans are coming to his defense.

Drake Rocks Rainbow Hair Clips

“That’s my man and I’ma stick beside him,” one commenter writes. It’s clear that in many people’s eyes, Drake can do no wrong. It’s also safe to say that the Grammy-winning artist is unfazed by the criticism. Regardless, he continues to spark controversy for even the slightest things, recently prompting a major debate over his apparent mention of Megan Thee Stallion onstage. The performer was giving his friend in the audience a shoutout, and her name also happened to be Meg. Social media users called him out, claiming he was dissing the “Hot Girl Summer” songstress. Some even dug up their old beef, and things escalated from there. The clip was so controversial that eventually, the Meg Drake was actually referring to, MegYuup, chimed in. The photographer clapped back at a user claiming he was being messy. “Pls don’t start,” she wrote. “He was CLARIFYING for the slow ones in the back such as yourself.”

Megan Thee Stallion Debuts New Hairstyle In Sultry Photo Dump

Megan Thee Stallion’s been on somewhat of a social media tear recently, having fun on her pages and looking great while doing so. Moreover, in her newest Instagram post, the Traumanize artist shared a lot of steamy new pics of herself in a blue bikini and rocking a fresh new hairdo. Of course, she had to go blue to match her fit, and the vibrant shade goes all the way down her straightened hair and bangs. This would mark the second time in about a week that the Stallion showed off a new look, and last time, she was rocking the blue as well. Is this just impeccable color coordination, a new favorite tone, or is the next album going to be blue in some way?

Regardless, there’s been an understandable halt to new music news from Megan Thee Stallion given her legal trouble with Tory Lanez. Fortunately, it seems like she’s now moving past that as much as she can without haters and naysayers stepping in her way. Overall, she spoke many times about how the whole ordeal was quite the difficult and frustrating process for her. That trial is seeing more resolution in the courtroom ahead of Lanez’s sentencing date, so maybe now is the best time for the 28-year-old to enjoy her life and take a break from high-pressure career moves.

Megan Thee Stallion Boasts Blue New Look

Instead of jumping straight into a new single or album rollout, the Houston native has been showing off a lot on social media. For example, her TikTok account has been blowing up as of late, whether for her bikini dances or for her vlogs breaking down the exciting goings-on in her daily life. Still, it hasn’t stopped fans from begging for new music, which she expressed a will to focus on once she’s fully healed from her personal matters. The game sure does miss her right now, but it just means that whatever Megan Thee Stallion next will likely be that much more special.

Meanwhile, the “NDA” MC’s latest vlog featured her escapades during Paris Fashion Week. Specifically, she attended Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton show, went to the gym beforehand, and obviously stunned fans watching from beyond the screen while doing so. If lack of new music means that Megan is having fun and enjoying herself before hopping back in, then we’re happy to be patient. That being said, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Megan Thee Stallion.

Frank Ocean Fans React To Edited Pic Of His New Look

An edited photo of Frank Ocean with long hair surfaced online, earlier this week, prompting plenty of reactions on Twitter as well as a debate over whether the look is even real. The excitement began when a Frank Ocean fan account tweeted the picture, claiming that the singer shared it with his “close friends” on Instagram.

“This man only comes back when he need a reup on money .. then he disappears again for 4-5 year.. rinse & repeat,” one fan wrote in response to the picture. Another added: “Frank Lion boutta drop a Reggae album,” one fan wrote, playing on Snoop Dogg’s reggae alias Snoop Lion,” making reference to Snoop Dogg’s R&B alias Snoop Lion. Others immediately doubted whether the picture is real: “No way y’all actually believing this.”

The rumored new hairstyle for Ocean comes as fans anticipate new music from the elusive singer. On a poster shared with one of his recent merch drops, Ocean explained that for the last several years he’s been interested in releasing singles as opposed to albums. That stance has since changed. Presenting the case of a fictitious “recording artist,” Ocean wrote: “The Recording Artist attempts to explain to the major music label the singles distribution model as opposed to the long-form album model. The Recording Artist believes the latter to be outdated, and that releasing singles is more suited to modern consumption habits where people curate their own playlists which are then shared within private circles. The meeting does not appear to be productive.” Ocean concludes by suggesting he “has since changed his mind about the singles model.” He adds that he’s once “again interested in more durational bodies of work.”

In the nearly seven years since the release of Blonde, Ocean has only released singles. These include “DHL,” “In My Room,” “Dear April” and “Cayendo.” Check out fans’ reactions to his alleged new look below.
