There’s a whole lotta drama online between Cardi B and BIA. For well over a year, the pair has exchanged subtle jabs online. On May 31, their tension was officially transferred to wax.

Cardi B fired off at BIA in her guest verse on GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’sWanna Be” remix. Today (June 2), BIA responded with a track of her own, “Sue Meee.” The night before its release, BIA teased a shady unreleased song on Instagram Live.

Shortly after gaining wind of BIA’s lines, Cardi B took to her page to clap back and even threatened to take legal action over BIA’s accusations of adultery and supposedly spreading a fake sex tape.

“I’m a sue you and you got to come with receipts,” Cardi said. “And not social media receipts, court receipts. I will get every little f*cking red penny that you ever f*cking make b*tch. Every money that you make off your publishing. So find something safe to do.”

BIA laughed off Cardi’s legal plan in the caption of her upload. “Sue me,” she wrote. “That’s not hip hop 😂.”

Cardi B claimed that BIA took to her private Instagram page to post a story, saying she isn’t afraid to face litigation: “Good luck you think I’m Tasha K.”

“Girl. Ask Tasha K. She couldn’t even lie on my p*ssy,” replied Cardi.

Just when you thought the wave of rap feuds were over, another duo has reentered the fray. Cardi B and BIA’s ongoing beef is sizzling.

After several subliminal online spats, yesterday (May 31) Cardi B took to the booth with a direct jab at BIA via her verse on GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be” remix.

Following the track’s release, it appears BIA subtly responded to the call on. “B*itches is wack,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “B*tches is trash. I should hang b*tches right over my knee, the way I be puttin’ my belt to the ass 😂😂😂.”

Days before, it seems that BIA shaded Cardi B over her use of songwriters on her records. “The quality of features I have, shows how much of a fan I am of real writers ✍🏽,” she wrote.

“Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me / She did one had no idea / Thought she was on the shelf Ikea / Hope she talk like that when I see her / B*tch please don’t nobody wanna be her (BIA) / Cheap lookin’ ass ho, weak lookin’ ass ho / Great Value me lookin’ ass ho / Girl, these bitches be pussy

Megan Thee Stallion Was Forced To Reschedule Her Tour Stop In Atlanta Now Fans Are Blasting The Mayor

Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour is supposedly two hours of unfiltered fun. Unfortunately, fans in the greater-Atlanta area can’t share their thoughts on the show just yet.

Yesterday (May 31), the “Big Ole Freak” rapper was forced to cancel her scheduled concert in the city.

“Unfortunately, we will need to reschedule tonight’s show at State Farm Arena due to the massive water main break that The City of Atlanta is experiencing 🥺,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Upset by the news, ticket holders took to the social media platform to express their frustrations with Atlanta’s elected officials, including Mayor Andre Dickens, for the alleged lack of care placed on the city’s infrastructure.

“@CityofAtlanta, hurry up 😩😩,” wrote one user.

“It would be nice if the Mayor’s protocols prioritized new water infrastructure instead of a ‘Cop City,’” chimed another.

“Mayor Dickens will crumble,” penned another.

“The country’s infrastructure is just falling apart cause this kinda thing is happening more and more regionally smh” wrote one user. “I hope my ATL moots are able to get clean water, and it’s not too hot down there.”

“This why Atlanta will always be on my opp city list,” penned another. “They knew she was announcing the album tonight and had to come up with something quick to sabotage her!”

The concert originally scheduled for May 31 has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 2. All refund details were sent out via the point of purchase. However, the show, slated for tonight (June 1) in Atlanta, will go on as previously planned, according to Megan’s latest Instagram post.

Did Cardi B Diss BIA On GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Wanna Be’ Remix?

The much-anticipated Cardi B-featuring remix of “Wanna Be” is here, and on the track, she’s out for blood.

Did Cardi B Diss BIA On GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be” Remix?

Towards the end of Cardi’s song-opening verse, she raps, “Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me / She did what? Had no idea / Thought she was on the shelf, Ikea / Hope she talk like that when I see her / B*tch, please, don’t nobody wanna be ya.”

The beef between Cardi and BIA seemingly started earlier this year, after Cardi released “Like What (Freestyle).” The song samples Missy Elliott’s 1999 single “She’s A B*tch,” as does BIA’s 2023 song “Fallback.” Some online pointed out the similarity and BIA subtly stoked the flames by acknowledging it. Shortly after, Cardi tweeted, “B*tches make a fool of themselves every single time [crying laughing emoji].. ima show ya something when I release this song tho.”

As for what Cardi’s saying on the “Wanna Be” remix, the line about being “on the shelf” is seemingly a dig at BIA’s relative lack of chart success despite having been active as a rapper for over a decade, with three singles hitting the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Also, when Cardi says “don’t nobody wanna be ya,” it would appear that “be ya” is meant to be a reference to BIA.

GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, And Cardi B Join Hot Girl Forces On The ‘Wanna Be’ Remix

The hottest song of the summer just got even better. Last month, Memphis rapper GloRilla dropped her Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape, which featured the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration, “Wanna Be.” Tonight (May 24) Glo and Meg have shared the remix to “Wanna Be,” which features a new verse from a fellow heavy hitter, Cardi B.

The three first teased the remix during the New York City stop of Meg and Glo’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, during which, Cardi made a surprise appearance. And of course, the three delivered.

Both Meg and Glo’s verses remain the same as their verses on the original version, but Cardi packs a punch with verse of her own.

On Cardi’s verse, she opens the song unleashing the heat, stacking up bars full of clever wordplay and warnings to the opps.

“These b*tches be boring, corny / Pop out, new bag with jewelry / Throwing ass all on my story / I make a photographer horny,” Cardi raps on her verse.

Granted, the original version of “Wanna Be” was already a hit, but Cardi joining in makes her the Blossom to Meg’s Bubbles and Glo’s Buttercup. The Powerpuff Girls of rap are running the game this summer.

You can listen to the “Wanna Be” remix above.

GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion And Cardi B Crush The “Wanna Be (Remix)”

“Wanna Be” was destined to be a smash hit. GloRilla’s cold-blooded flow sounded incredible over the throwback snap beat. Megan Thee Stallion played off GloRilla’s delivery but upping the aggression and ensuring that the song never lost momentum. There wasn’t much that could be done to improve on the original version. Yet, GloRilla and Meg found a way. The two superstars went out and grabbed Cardi B, the superstar who broke out before either of them, to hop on the remix.

There’s always a question of predictability when it comes to a remix. GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion use the same verses as the original, but their placement is what keeps things exciting, as Cardi B kicks off the song with a charismatic sixteen. Cardi recently confirmed that she won’t be putting out an album in 2024, so it’s nice to get on her record whenever possible. She matches the energy of the original two while giving “Wanna Be” her own special touch.

Cardi Steals The Show From GloRilla On “Wanna Be (Remix)”

Cardi might even steal the show. She brings a series of different flows and catchy vocal inflections to the table. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper has the element of surprise, given that fans haven’t gotten a chance to hear her on the beat, and she really uses it to her advantage. It’s a testament to GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion that they manage to keep up once its their turn. There’s also a fun motif where the rappers make reference to Hollywood actors. Cardi B name drops Matthew McConaughey, while Megan Thee Stallion tributes another Magic Mike star, Channing Tatum.

Summer is still young, but at this point, it looks like if the Song Of The Summer race ended today, the title would go to Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso.” Still, there’s time to change that, and it might come from the hip-hop world: GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion dropped “Wanna Be” back in April, but now the track is getting a fresh coat of paint via a remix featuring Cardi B.

Cardi confirmed the news on social media today (May 29), announcing that the remix is set for release on Friday, May 31.

This came after the three teased the song on Megan’s Hot Girl Summer tour, on which GloRilla serves as opener. When the trek his New York City’s Madison Square Garden on May 21, Cardi B hit the stage for a few songs. While there, after Meg and Glo ran through “Wanna Be,” Glo teased an announcement before revealing that a Cardi-featuring remix of the song was incoming (as NME notes).

Cardi, meanwhile, recently shared her thoughts on pornography, in response to Candace Owens’ call to ban it, saying, “Ommmggg why yall so against porn ? Is it that bad for yall ? I enjoy it but I don’t know I guess is like a 6 time a year thing .I personally don’t feel no connection or addiction to it just a little quick one two ….NOTHING LIKE REAL INTIMACY!”

An Atlanta Investor Accuses GloRilla Of Stealing $150K In A Recently Resurfaced Lawsuit

GloRilla is racking in big bucks as the opening act for Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour. But with money, comes increased problems. On Friday, May 24, an accusation surrounding the “Yeah Glo!” rapper’s business practices resurfaced.

During an appearance on The Morning Hustle, Aristotle Varner Jr. (publicly known as Aristotle) of Aristotle Investments, claimed to have taken a huge financial loss after GloRilla allegedly “ran off with six figures of his money.” Initially, viewers doubted his statements, until a previously filed lawsuit against the entertainer surfaced.

Spade TV shared a portion of the filing to their official Instagram page. In the court document, Varner claimed to have paid GloRilla $150,000 in 2022 to upload a collaborative post on Instagram, to attend an in-person meet-and-greet, and film a 30-minute interview on Instagram Live with his wife, Asia.

Although, GloRilla did post to her Instagram page, Varner alleges the other items have not been met. Prior to his appearance on The Morning Hustle, Varner took to his Instagram page to discuss the situation with his followers.

“Whatever Sexyy Red do, we must support,” he said. “We can not let GloRilla win ‘Queen Ratchet.’ She took my money… I paid [her] $150 racks for something to happen. All that stupid ass, ghetto ass, two hit wonder ass b*tch had to do was show up for 5 minutes on a Zoom and do a 30-minute live with my wife… This b*tch ditched up and took our money.”

Watch Varner’s broadcast below.

GloRilla doesn’t seem to have issued a public response to Varner’s accusation.

Angel Reese Is Hip-Hop’s Favorite WNBA Rookie

A month after being drafted with the seventh overall pick to the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese is living her best life. The WNBA rookie has become hip-hop’s favorite of the 2024 draft class, receiving support from Latto, who sat courtside for Reese’s debut game, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla, joining the latter two on stage during the Chicago stop of their Hot Girl Summer Tour over this past weekend. This was, of course, after being featured in Latto’s “Put In Da Floor Again” video with Cardi B after her junior season at LSU.

The love for Reese among rappers was noted by fans on X (RIP, Twitter.com), who pointed out how she has generated much more buzz among that demographic than many of her peers in this much-hyped WNBA rookie class.

Meanwhile, on-court, Reese has lived up to the billing, averaging 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, an assist and a steal over her first two games in the league (both against the Dallas Wings, splitting wins between the two teams). Reese also attended the Met Gala in New York when her team played there in the preseason, proving she has the versatility to look just as good off the court as she has on it.

Megan Thee Stallion Invites Natalie Nunn On Stage Just A Few Months After Nicki Minaj Beef

Hip-hop beef has absolutely dominated both discussion about and consumption of the genre throughout 2024 so far. The main focus in recent weeks was an all-out war between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The pair spent weeks going back and forth highlighted by a tightly wound eruption of one diss song after another over an eventful weekend. While that beef was going on, Quavo and Chris Brown were also engaged in a series of disses that sparked multiple songs aimed at each other. But it’s worth remembering that the year of beef was kicked off back in January by Megan Thee Stallion.

Earlier this year, Megan Thee Stallion dropped the second single from her snake-themed new album, “HISS.” The song was an absolute slam aimed at nearly any adversary Megan has ever had. While the track discusses numerous different people, everyone seemed to hone in on one line in particular. A hilarious reference to Megan’s Law was a diss at Nicki Minaj, poking fun at her husband’s criminal history. That sparked a short response from Minaj in one of the most universally maligned diss tracks in rap history “Big Foot.” Despite the fact that the beef was relatively short compared to Drake and Kendrick, it’s still on fan’s minds. That was most definitely the case when Megan had a particular special guest on stage recently. Check out the video below.

Megan Thee Stallion Brings Out Natalie Nunn

Video is making the rounds online of Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla performing alongside Natalie Nunn. The video had fans calling back to Nicki Minaj because the rapper name dropped Nunn in a song from her new album last year. In the comments, fans speculate that the move was a deliberate attempt on Megan’s part to take shots at Nicki once again.

What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla bringing out Natalie Nunn during a recent performance? Do you think the move was specifically done to take shots at Nicki Minaj? Let us know in the comment section below.
