Russell Wilson Charity Allegedly Only Donates A Fraction Of Its Earnings
Russell Wilson is someone who has been hit with quite a bit of criticism over the last little while. Overall, the criticism has come thanks to his poor play out on the football field. For the most part, Wilson was not good this year with the Denver Broncos. He was a shell of his former self, and it had a lot of people questioning his future in the league. However, Wilson is getting a new coach in Sean Payton, and many believe this could turn him around. Although, there is certainly no guarantee that this will, in fact, be the case.
Now, however, Wilson is facing some new allegations that have to do with his work off of the field. As many of his fans already know, Wilson has been praised for his “Why Not You Foundation.” Just a couple of years ago, Wilson was named Walter Payton NFL Man Of The Year thanks to this effort. That said, a new investigation USA Today is shining some light on how the organization is allegedly using its funds.

Per the report, Wilson’s charity is only donating 24.3 cents on the dollar. This is less than one-fourth, and certainly not what many fans were bargaining for. These numbers were reported between 2020 and 2021, although it seemed like the charity was doing slightly better at allocating funds when it first began. “Form 990 federal tax returns from the nonprofit’s inception through 2021 show it reported $7.5 million in revenue and $7 million in expenses during its first eight years of existence,” the investigation reads. “Less than half of the money — $2.8 million, or 39.6 cents of every dollar spent — has gone to charitable activities, all as grants to other nonprofits.”
Wilson has yet to respond to these allegations. He is someone who has taken his image very seriously. Consequently, we are sure he will have something to say about this soon. Rick Ross Invites Rod Wave To Kick It In Million-Dollar Super Bowl Skybox
In just a few days, millions of people will tune into the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles—and with Rihanna taking over the halftime show, it’s a game no one wants to miss. Of those hoping to be watching from the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona is Rod Wave. He didn’t have a bit of shame as he joked about how expensive skyboxes were for the Super Bowl.
“Man, I know one of y’all Rap n*ggas, somebody tryin’ to go to the motherf*ckin’ Super Bowl,” he said in a video. “Skybox, n*gga is $1.2 million, n*gga. I don’t f*ck with these n*ggas, but if you wanna go half…” He then laughed at the suggestion and was joined by his team, who were in the background.

DJ Akademiks reposted Rod Wave’s clip, and it earned a response from Rick Ross. It’s expected that Rozay would enjoy the Super Bowl from one of the luxury suites, and he said that’s just where he’ll be. He invited Rod to join him and his team—an invitation that we can only assume was accepted without hesitation.
“Keep ya $ come to mine,” Ross commented. “And I got @wingstop in 26 person suite, great field view – Rozayyy.”The Wing Stop jokes poured in, but even so, not everyone gets a personal invitation from the Rap mogul. Michael Irvin Taken Off Super Bowl Duties After Woman Issues Complaint
Michael Irvin is one of the most beloved analysts over at the NFL Network, as well as ESPN‘s First Take. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and overall, he brings a ton of energy to each broadcast. This week, Irvin has been in Arizona where he was supposed to begin coverage for the Super Bowl. In fact, he was there on Monday to conduct interviews with players and coaches ahead of the big game. Now, however, it appears as though he is being stripped of his duties.
According to TMZ, this is because a woman has launched a complaint over Irvin’s alleged conduct. As the outlet reports, Irvin had an interaction with a woman in the lobby of the hotel he’s been staying at. Subsequently, the woman issued a complaint about his behavior. After reviewing the complaint, the NFL Network decided to pull Irvin from their broadcast, entirely. Following this decision, Irvin offered a statement to the Dallas Morning News.

“When I got back after going out … I came into the lobby, and I talked to somebody,” Irvin explained. “I talked to this girl, I don’t know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds. It was just a friendly conversation. ‘What’s up?’ I don’t even know. … I am totally perplexed.” Additionally, Irvin went on to say that he didn’t break a single law. He has no idea what he could have done wrong, and overall, he is just “perplexed.”

Stephen A. Smith is someone who gets paid a whole lot of money to speak out about the wide world of sports. Typically, Smith has been known to give some pretty out-there hot takes. However, this is ultimately what makes him entertaining. Smith is well aware of how sports entertainment works, and he always does his best to be interesting. Smith went on to say that it would have to be Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders as they played both football and baseball at the highest level.
Jackson and Sanders are two people who have always found themselves on top of these lists. They both showcased incredible abilities in their respective sports, so it should come as no surprise that Stephen A. would pick them. As for Brady, he’s probably not too upset with Smith. Aaron Rodgers Claims He Is Going To An “Isolation Retreat”
Aaron Rodgers is certainly one of the most interesting players in the entire NFL. Overall, the 39-year-old has fancied himself a unique thinker. One could even make the claim that he is exactly like the Kyrie Irving of the NFL. However, Rodgers typically plays when asked, so right there you have a difference between the two. As you can see in the clip above, Rodgers is claiming that he has plans to do an “Isolation Retreat.” Essentially, these retreats put you in a house filled with complete darkness and no distractions. “You’re not locked in. You can leave. If you can’t do it, you can just walk out the door. But, it’s a darkness retreat,” Rodgers said. “I’ve had a number of friends who have done it and had some profound experiences and it’s something that’s been on my radar for a few years now and I felt like it’d be awesome to do regardless of where I was leaning after this season. So, it’s been on the calendar for months and months and months. And it’s coming up in a couple weeks.”
Rodgers made sure to say that if you are feeling too anxious, you can choose to leave the house. However, it is clear that Rodgers has every intention of completing this new mission. Tom Brady Believes He Can Still Play
Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL, and he has made it clear that he will not be coming back. Overall, this was a huge decision that not everyone was expecting. For instance, some felt like it was a given that he would end up going to the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Brady decided that football was no longer in the cards for him and that he would rather relax. In fact, Brady is so set on relaxing that he is only starting his Fox Sports deal in 2024.
Subsequently, Brady will be spending time with his kids, while also working on his Let’s Go podcast. Recently, Brady even got to interview Bill Belichick on the show. It was an amazing conversation that was emotional for both men. Additionally, Brady got into his retirement and how in his mind, he can still play football at a high level. Tom Brady Offers Massive Update On His Future
Tom Brady retired from the NFL last week, and now, he has all the free time in the world. Today, he decided to post a thirst trap, and overall, people are feeling as if Brady is already bored. However, it doesn’t seem as though Brady is rushing to cure that boredom. He has made it painfully clear that he has no plans for the immediate future. From dating to his professional life, Brady would rather just chill at home than really go out and do anything significant. After dedicating 23 years of his life to the NFL, it is very hard to blame him.
As many fans already know, Brady is set to make $37.5 million per year, over 10 years with Fox Sports. This will ultimately have him in the booth doing color commentary like Tony Romo. This is a job that is perfect for Brady, although it is clear that he is no intentions of starting soon. In fact, Brady recently gave Colin Cowherd an exact timeline of when he intends to take the job.

As he explained, he is doing this because he wants to be fully committed. “One thing about my career, whether that was when I was drafted by the Patriots or signed in free agency with the Bucs, I wanted to be fully committed,” Brady said. “I never wanted to let people down — I think my biggest motivator was that. So, even in the future I want to be great at what I do and that always takes some time and strategizing and learning and growing and evolving.”
Overall, it is hard to blame Brady for this. Being a broadcaster is a whole lot of work, and you don’t want to resent your job because you didn’t take enough time off. After all, he is 45 years old and had played in the league for 23 years. Having said that, it was about time he hang up the cleats for good. Antonio Brown Accuses James Harrison Of Giving Him CTE
Antonio Brown has accused former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison of giving him CTE. Reflecting on his health during a recent Instagram Live video, Brown claimed that Harrison used an illegal helmet throughout his career.
“I wanted to tell you guys that I think James Harrison gave me CTE,” Brown said. “James Harrison had an illegal helmet for over 20 years in the NFL, and he hit me one time. And, ever since he hit me, I’ve been super aggressive. So blame James Harrison for my CTE.”
Harrison later responded to the accusation on his Twitter page with a video of Idris Elba choking on Hot Ones. “Me realizing why I had 150 text messages this morning,” Harrison wrote. He has yet to respond any further.
It’s unclear when exactly the alleged hit would’ve taken place. It could have been during practice while both Brown and Harrison were on the Steelers. It also could have gone down when Harrison left for the Bengals in 2013. Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict also famously collided with Brown helmet-to-helmet in 2016, resulting in one of the more brutal hits in recent memory.
Brown’s behavior has become quite erratic in recent years. In 2022, he faced allegations of “domestic violence and battery” stemming from an incident at his home in Florida. He also allegedly assaulted a moving truck driver in 2020. In January 2022, Brown stormed off the field during a Buccaneers game, never to return to the team. He had become visibly upset on the sidelines beforehand.
Since the incident, Brown had yet to join another NFL team. On the other hand, Harrison retired after the 2017 season. He is widely considered one of the best linebackers of his era. He won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2008. Additionally, he helped lead the Steelers to Super Bowl victories in the 2005 and 2008 seasons.
