Stephen A. Smith Predicts The Super Bowl

Stephen A. Smith and the entire First Take crew have been in Arizona for the Super Bowl. This year’s game is going to be between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, this promises to be a truly fantastic matchup. The Chiefs come in as the underdogs even though they have the talents of Patrick Mahomes. On the other side, the Eagles have Jalen Hurts, who is beginning to get the superstar treatment. Regardless of who you are rooting for, it is clear that this will be an amazing game.

As for Smith, he has been able to give all sorts of hot takes as it pertains to the big game. Although he is mostly a basketball guy, he definitely knows a lot about football. Additionally, he has spent time in the Philadelphia market, which means he is the perfect person to talk about this Eagles team. On this morning’s episode of First Take, Smith was front and center on the panel. Overall, he was in a jovial mood, and he was ready to give his prediction on whom he believes will hoist the Lombardi trophy.

Stephen A. Makes His Pick

Earlier in the shoe, Stephen A. said that if it is a high-scoring affair, then the Kansas City Chiefs will take it. However, when it comes to his actual prediction of how things will play out, he is taking the Eagles. As you can see in the clip above, the majority of the panel is going with the Eagles as well. They were the best team in the NFL from the jump this year, and now is their time to finish it all off. Whether or not they will be able to overcome Mahomes is a completely different story.

The Super Bowl is set to go down on Sunday, and there is no doubt that this is one of those matchups for the ages. Hopefully, we get a good game, and not the stinker we got last time the Chiefs made the big game. Let us know who you think is going to win, down in the comments below. Joe Montana’s Negative Feelings Towards Tom Brady Revealed

Joe Montana used to be the greatest quarterback of all time. Overall, he has four Super Bowl titles and he acquired those rings in a short amount of time. Furthermore, he went to four Super Bowls, which means he never lost in the big game. It was a true testament to just how great of a player he was, especially under pressure. However, Montana is no longer the GOAT of football. That title now belongs to Tom Brady who has seven Super Bowl titles to his name.

As soon as Brady got his fifth title, it became clear that Tom Brady deserved to be the number one guy. After all, he had more touchdowns than Montana at the time. Moreover, he has thrown for more yards and has way more completions. While they did play in different eras, it became clear that Brady was the guy you would want in a game to win it all. That said, one can imagine there is a bit of resentment from Montana towards Brady. This could be characterized in the same vein as what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar feels toward LeBron James.

Joe Montana Still Reeling

According to reporter Wright Thompson, that resentment is, indeed, real. When Wright was asked about how Montana feels about Brady passing him in Super Bowls, the answer was simple: “he hates it.” Thompson went on to say that it all has to do with some jealous feelings about no longer being the GOAT. Montana is just that competitive and wishes he was still the one on top. “He’s less jealous of the rings, than he is of the fact he gets to watch someone else gets to live the life that got ripped from him,” Thompson said.

Now, Brady will get to enjoy being the GOAT in retirement. Unless Patrick Mahomes performs some miracles, Brady will not be dethroned for a very long time. However, you can’t help but feel for Montana, who probably wishes he could have stayed in San Francisco for just a few more years. Damar Hamlin became one of the biggest stories in the entire sports world back in January. This was after a devastating hit that stopped Hamlin’s heart on the field. Subsequently, the medical staff had to act fast. Overall, they did just that as they gave him 10 minutes of CPR before taking him to the hospital. Hamlin was eventually put into a coma where doctors were able to perform tests. Eventually, he made a miraculous recovery that stunned NFL fans. Now, Hamlin is a symbol of hope for so many. Furthermore, he is a demonstration of just how talented our medical professionals truly are.

On Thursday night, Hamlin was in Arizona for all of the Super Bowl festivities. During the week, the NFL typically hosts its NFL Honors event, which hands out all of the year’s awards. “Every day I am amazed that my experiences could encourage so many others across the country and across the world,” Hamlin said. “Encourage to pray, encourage to spread love, and encourage keep fighting no matter the circumstances. Sudden cardiac arrest was nothing I would have ever chosen to have been a part of my story, but that’s because sometimes our own visions are too small even when we think we’re seeing a bigger picture. My vision was about playing in the NFL and being the best player I could be. But God’s plan was to have a purpose greater than any game in this world.”

Moving forward, Hamlin has been told that he will be able to play football again. However, as it stands, Hamlin has yet to express any interest in doing so. Michael Irvin Sues Accuser For $100 Million: Details

Michael Irvin is going through a bit of a bizarre situation right now. As we reported earlier this week, he was accused of misconduct following an interaction he had at the Renaissance Hotel in Arizona. Subsequently, the NFL Network took him off of their Super Bowl coverage. Additionally, ESPN has been apprehensive about allowing him to make appearances. What makes this even weirder is that law enforcement isn’t aware of the allegations. No one even knows what Irvin is specifically being accused of.

However, we do know that his interaction was with a hotel staffer, according to TMZ. Following the interaction, the woman then made a complaint to the NFL. Reports indicate that there were witnesses on hand who can testify that Irvin did nothing wrong. Regardless, Irvin is now taking legal action against the hotel and has filed a $100 million lawsuit. Based on the verbiage throughout the lawsuit, it is clear that Irvin is baffled by the allegations brought upon him.

“Rash and thoughtless actions can have severe consequences. Marriott [parent company of Renaissance Hotels] apparently did not appreciate these simple truths when, in a rush to judgment, its employees and management inaccurately and inflammatorily accused Mr. Irvin of misconduct to the National Football League,” the lawsuit says. Moreover, Irvin’s attorneys are chalking this up as another example of cancel culture. Whether or not that is true, still remains to be seen. No matter what, this whole situation is bizarre, and many are still looking for answers.

For now, Irvin will remain off the air as it pertains to the upcoming Super Bowl festivities. The big game is going to be taking place on Sunday, and Irvin will not be doing any pre-game predictions. Hopefully, this situation gets some more clarity, sooner rather than later. Let us know what you think of this debacle, in the comments below. Patrick Mahomes Fooled By Reporter Who Said Rihanna Loved Him

We are just days away now from the biggest annual sporting event in the United States. This year’s Super Bowl LVII will take place on Sunday (Feb. 12) in Glendale, AZ. Being played in State Farm Stadium, the game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Each of these franchises has won this game once in the last five years. For Philly, this is their first trip to the game since 2018. For the Chiefs, this is their third appearance since 2020.

But, as big of a matchup this seems to be, it might not even be the main attraction. Every year the big game is able to recruit superstars for their halftime show. This year, though, may end up being one of their biggest yet. Rihanna will be this year’s performer, as her preparations are being aided by JAY-Z and his company Roc Nation. After she graces the nation’s biggest stage this weekend, she also plans to embark on a headlining tour soon after. With this big of a moment ahead of us, even some of the players in Sunday’s game are excited.

Patrick Mahomes Gets Duped

During the media day press conferences for the Super Bowl this week, Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a trick played on him. When bringing up Rihanna’s highly anticipated performance, a reporter mentioned how much Rihanna adores Pat. “Rihanna came out and said that you are the greatest quarterback ever. Hearing that, how does that make you feel?” he asked Mahomes. Excitedly, Mahomes replied by saying his family is probably looking forward to seeing Rihanna more than seeing him play. “It makes me feel great. She’s gonna crush it at halftime, I have family members that I think are more excited about the halftime show than they are the game. So whatever Rihanna says is like the gospel. I’m glad she went with me for that honor.”

However, the reporter immediately rescinded his statement, admitting that he was playing a prank on Pat. “She didn’t, Im just messing with you,” he said. Disappointed, Mahomes replied, “Aw, man. You got me up here smiling and smirking.” Regardless, Pat does not need the validation of celebrities to know his worth. He is undoubtably one of the best QBs in football. On the flip side, Rihanna is one of the best performers and musicians of her generation. She will surely remind the world of that this weekend, as sources have said she “can’t wait to kill it” out there.

Deion Sanders Delivers Tom Brady Hot Take

Deion Sanders is someone with a great understanding of the game of football. He has been around elite-level players for decades and that will continue at Colorado. Overall, Sanders is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of football. His work in the 90s is always revered and although he doesn’t have seven rings like Tom Brady, he is still an upper-echelon Hall of Famer.

Speaking of Tom Brady, the quarterback recently retired from the game of football. This decision was a bit of a shock to some people, however, others felt like it was time for him to quit. Overall, 23 years in the league is a long time to play. Moreover, with seven Super Bowls to his name, he had certainly done enough. Moving forward, he will get to be an analyst for Fox Sports in 2024. It’s a job that suits him well and fans are looking forward to seeing him on TV.

Deion Sanders Speaks

Going back to Sanders, he was recently asked an interesting question about Brady. Essentially, reporters wanted to know if he thinks anyone will ever win seven rings again. Simply put, Sanders thinks it is impossible, according to Yahoo! Sports. His reasoning is due to the fact that players don’t take pay cuts to help the roster like they used to. “The reason it won’t happen for quite some time is that … we are at a financial state that I don’t believe that a guy is going to be as humble as Tom Brady and work with his team and take less (money), Sanders said. “This culture wants every darn dime they can get. You have to sacrifice some things to get to be in that position and I don’t think this culture is ready to make those sacrifices.”

Sanders definitely makes an interesting point here. Teams with high-paid quarterbacks have had some issues as of late. Meanwhile, the teams with low-paid young QBs are starting to see sustained success. If Mahomes and the Chiefs win the Super Bowl on Sunday, then the trend will officially be reversed. Let us know what you think of Sanders’s comments, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Drake Shares His “Psychotic” Super Bowl Bets

Drake is among those who are hoping to cash out this weekend following the Super Bowl. As it is every year, sports commentators and fans alike offer their predictions for who will win the big game. This year, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It’s undoubtedly going to be an exciting game and it seems like there’s an influx of individuals who are hoping to win big on Sunday night.

As sports betting reached a new high with Stake, Drake became the spokesperson for the online casino. Though it’s unclear what type of deal he has with the company, Drizzy’s frequently reveals his bets for a variety of sports. Last year, he lost out on $1M during the World Cup. The Canadian artist bet on Argentina to defeat France, which they did. However, a technicality surrounding overtime led Drake to lose out on seven figures. However, his luck appears to have been better in recent times.

Drake Banks On Kansas City Chiefs

Though some might argue that the Drake curse still lingers in the world of sports, the “Rich Flex” rapper clearly has no problems revealing which teams he supports. On Thursday afternoon, Drake revealed his bets for the Super Bowl which amount to over a million dollars. The rapper has $700K on the Kansas City Chiefs winning the game – including overtime – while banking on Patrick Mahomes to score the first touchdown. After winning a mill off of Chiefs during their game against the Bengals, Drake evidently has the utmost faith in Kansas City.

“My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake,” he captioned the post. “Pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets because there is none,” he added. If all of his predictions are right, then Drake is certainly getting to the bag. Surprisingly, Drake didn’t reveal whether he bet on Rihanna’s setlist for the halftime show. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if she ends up performing “Work” at some point. Drake appearing on stage with her to perform the song, however, seems highly unlikely. Check out Drake’s predictions above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
