Stephen A. Smith Hilariously Apologizes To Dak Prescott’s Dad

Stephen A. Smith is known for having some wild hot takes. Additionally, sometimes he makes some large grandiose predictions that do not exactly work out in his favor. Well, that is exactly what happened on Monday as he told Dak Prescott’s father that his son would throw two interceptions.

Subsequently, Smith was proven wrong as Dak threw zero interceptions on Monday night. Furthermore, he came through with a whopping five touchdowns. This gave the Cowboys a 31-14 victory that fans are going to remember for a very long time.

Stephen A. Reacts

In the video clip down below, you can see that Smith ate his words this morning. Marcus Spears ordered him to apologize on the air, and that is exactly what he did. Overall, it was a pretty hilarious moment, especially as Smith seemed apprehensive about giving the apology.

Moreover, Smith gave a more fleshed out analysis of the Cowboys later on First Take. As you can see, Stephen A. was pretty shocked in terms of how the Cowboys played. He did not expect them to bury the Bucs in such a fashion. Needless to say, he was very impressed with what he saw.

“Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys. … I expected [them] to implode … They shocked me,” Smith said. However, Stephen A. is making sure that fans temper their expectations as the Cowboys will play a strong 49ers team next Sunday.

The Cowboys are a team who have always choked under the pressure, at least over the last 20 years. Now, however, they have a great opportunity to show people that they can contend for a Super Bowl.

Let us know if you think they will defeat the 49ers next weekend, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

Ed Reed Apologizes After Ranting About His Own School

Ed Reed was recently hired as the new head coach of the Bethune-Cookman football team. Bethune-Cookman is an HBCU that has been in need of a revamped football program. After having a horrible record last year, Reed has been brought in to inject some energy.

However, it seems like Reed is already upset with some of the resources he has been dealt. While speaking on a Livestream, Reed made some disparaging remarks about HBCUs and the issues they face.

“I see it all too clearly. All of our HBCUs need help,” he said. “And they need help because of the people who’s running it. Broken mentalities out here. I’m going to leave you with that. I gotta get in the office.” Reed also claimed that he was doing work that wasn’t part of his job description. Subsequently, this led to him threatening to leave.

Ed Reed Speaks

Consequently, Reed was criticized by many for his comments. Videos of his rant went viral, and there were some who felt like he shouldn’t be the team’s coach. Overall, Reed understood the weight of his comments, and he apologized for them on social media.

“In regards to my social media and comments about the University, staff and other institutions, I would like to sincerely apologize to all BCU staff, students and alumni for my lack of professionalism,” Reed said. “My language and tone were unacceptable as a father, coach and leader. My passion for our culture, betterment and bringing our foundation up got the best of me and I fell victim while engaging with antagonists on social media as well. I am fully aware of the hard working folks at our school who are also fighting to make things better and more financially sound. I am encouraged from my communication with my AD and our administration and understand it’s a work in progress. My passion is about getting and doing better and that goes for me too.”

Reed is not the first person to criticize HBCUs. Of course, Deion Sanders has done that as well over the past few months. Regardless, it seems as though Reed will remain as the team’s head coach until further notice.

Russell Gage Taken To Hospital Following Scary Hit

Russell Gage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went through an incredibly scary moment on Monday night. Of course, the Buccaneers were taking on the Dallas Cowboys in their Wild Card matchup. Late in the game, Tom Brady threw a pass into the middle of the field, and Gage was the target.

Subsequently, Gage went down on the ground to get the ball, but it bounced off of his hands. From there, a Cowboys player came in with a late hit and hit Gage’s neck with his arm. Overall, it appeared to be a very scary injury that looked pretty awful on TV.

Russell Gage Gets Treatment

According to TMZ, Gage was taken to the hospital for his injury. On TV, Gage was down on the field for several minutes. Consequently, his teammates gathered around on the field and offered him some support. While it was nowhere near as awful as the Damar Hamlin situation, there was still quite a bit of concern.

As per head coach Todd Bowles, it has been confirmed that Gage has a concussion. However, it is unclear what other injuries he may have. For now, they want to take a good look at his neck to see if it may be broken. Thankfully, Gage appeared to be moving his legs and fingers while on the field.

Dak Prescott Explains What Tom Brady Told Him After Huge Win

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys proved a ton of doubters wrong last night. For years now, the Cowboys have been seen as playoff chokers. Prescott has also been hit with this label as his record coming into last night was 1-3. However, Prescott changed the narrative with five touchdowns. Four were from passing, and one was from running it in himself.

This win now makes it so that the Cowboys will face the San Francisco 49ers next weekend. Of course, this is going to be a matchup for the ages. The Cowboys are very much expected to lose, however, they seem to have hit their stride. At this point, it is anyone’s game.

Dak Prescott Reacts

Following the match, Prescott spoke to reporters about what took place on the field. Overall, he was overjoyed about his team’s effort. Furthermore, he discussed what Tom Brady told him after the game. As you will see, it was a great message.

“He just said that I played well,” Dak Prescott said. “I told him good job, he told me good job. I just shook his hand. [Brady’s] obviously a guy that I have the ultimate respect for. He’s won more than anyone has in this league. He’s been the epitome of how to play this game for years and how to take care of your body. So much respect for him.

“But that’s about (our) defense. The way they went out there and took care of business. This isn’t some Dak versus Tom Brady matchup. That was Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Our defense played their asses off and gave us an opportunity to score more points than they did.”

While Prescott and the Cowboys might find it difficult in the next round, there is no doubt that they have some momentum. If they find a way to take advantage, there is a good chance they go all the way to the Super Bowl.

Skip Bayless Reacts With Glee After Cowboys Blowout

Skip Bayless is perhaps the biggest Cowboys fan on TV, aside from Michael Irvin. Every time Bayless is on Undisputed, you can hear him deliver some unique takes about his Cowboys. Overall, he comes across as a homer, and it never fails to make Shannon Sharpe laugh.

On Monday night, Bayless was sweating from the comfort of his home as the Cowboys took on the Buccaneers. Bayless understood that this was a huge game for the franchise, and somehow, they delivered. The Cowboys knocked off Tom Brady by a score of 31-14. Subsequently, Bayless was quite the happy camper.

Skip Bayless Reacts

Immediately after his big win, Bayless took to Twitter where he gloated about the situation. Of course, this could have been a disaster for Skip. Had the Cowboys lost, Bayless would have received Sharpe’s full wrath. However, Bayless will now get to gloat on this morning’s show.

“FINALLY: The Dallas Cowboys win their first road playoff game in 30 years. I was there that day – Jan. 17, 1993 – at Candlestick,” Bayless wrote. “Thank you, Dak Prescott, for playing the game of your life at GOAT.” Needless to say, Bayless was more than happy about what took place last night.

Additionally, Skip made sure to react to the pitiful performance from Cowboys kicker Brett Maher. Maher missed his first four point after attempts, which was simply ridiculous. Eventually, he made the last one, and thankfully, it had no real impact on the outcome of the game. Now, however, the Cowboys might need to find a new kicker.

As for Bayless, this was a great night for him that he will never forget. We just pray for Shannon Sharpe this morning as he will be facing a different kind of beast.

Tom Brady Hints At His Future Following Loss To The Cowboys

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got destroyed by the Dallas Cowboys last night by a score of 31-14. The score could have been a lot worse, however, Brady was able to throw a second touchdown near the end of the game to stop some of the bleeding.

Overall, it was not Brady’s best effort as a member of the Bucs. Although, it should be said that the Cowboys defense showed up to play. They were phenomenal through the vast majority of the match, and Dak Prescott also showed out with the game of his life.

Tom Brady Speaks

After the game, Brady addressed the media and made some interesting comments. Of course, he can decide to retire after this season. Additionally, he could just go to another team. However, based on his comments below, it seems as though he is likely to move on from the Bucs.

“I just want to thank you guys for everything this year, I really appreciate your effort,” Brady said. “I know it’s hard for you. I know it’s hard for us players to make it through and you guys have a tough job and I appreciate all that you guys do to cover us and to everyone that watches and big fans of the sport are very grateful for everyone’s support. I love this organization, it’s a great place to be.”

If Brady were to move on, it seems likely that he would go to either the Miami Dolphins or the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders seem the most likely place for him to go, however, considering Tua is already established in Miami.

Rob Gronkowski Reveals Which Team He Almost Signed With

Rob Gronkowski is easily one of the best tight ends to ever play in the NFL. He broke numerous records during his time in the league. Additionally, he won four Super Bowls with the likes of Tom Brady. Overall, he could very well go down at the GOAT at his position.

Recently, Gronk has been teasing fans with a return to the field. He is constantly talking about what it would take to get him to come back. Furthermore, he has been talking about the likes of Josh Allen and how he would be down to play with him someday.

Rob Gronkowski Makes A Revelation

As it turns out, he wasn’t so far off from playing with Allen. While speaking to Travis and Jason Kelce, Gronk revealed that the Bills called him up last summer. In fact, he was thinking of making it happen. However, he ultimately decided against it as he wanted a bit more money. Not to mention, he didn’t have that drive to play football.

“I was like, ‘Ahh. Tom [Brady] retired, I’ma check out some other teams,” Gronkowski explained. “I was actually in talks with the Buffalo Bills a little bit. They wanted me to come up there.”

If Gronk does want to make a comeback, there are plenty of teams out there who will take him. However, it does seem like his best option is the Bills. They have the quarterback and they have the ability to get him that fifth Super Bowl. Although, the team just needs to back up the Brinks truck.

Let us know where you think Gronk should go, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world. We’re sure Gronk will continue to give us plenty to talk about.

Stephen A. Smith Trolls Cowboys Fans With Epic Monologue

If you are a big Stephen A. fan, then you know the kind of relationship he has with the Dallas Cowboys. Overall, this distaste for the Cowboys mostly extends to the fanbase. As many already know, Cowboys fans are fairly delusional about their team. They always think their team is going to win the Super Bowl, although they rarely make it past the Wild Card round.

Tonight, the Cowboys will be going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what should be a good matchup. This is going to be a make-or-break moment for Dak Prescott, who needs a big playoff win on his resume. If he loses, however, pundits like Stephen A. Smith are going to eat him for lunch.

Stephen A. Makes His Mark

Today, First Take was being hosted in none other than Tampa Bay, Florida. Since the Bucs won their division, they are hosting this game, despite having four fewer wins than the Cowboys. In true Stephen A. fashion, he decided to make an exceptionally fashionable entrance at the game.

In the clip down below, you can find Smith wearing a Cowboy hat all while riding the escalator. There were plenty of Cowboy fans in attendance for the live show, and he made sure to taunt them with some anti-Cowboys rhetoric. Of course, Michael Irvin was right behind him as he attempted to stop the madness.

If you are a Cowboys fan, you are probably feeling extremely nervous right now. The team never wins games that they are supposed to, and this could be another example of that. Hopefully, for Cowboys fans, Stephen A. has nothing to gloat about on Tuesday.

Let us know who you think will win on Monday night, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from the sports world.

Ravens’ Rumored Plan For Lamar Jackson Revealed

Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Unfortunately, however, he has had to deal with some serious injury issues. Ultimately, a knee injury kept him out of the team’s Wild Card game on Sunday. Consequently, the team lost by just a touchdown. Had Jackson been there, it could have been a different story.

Of course, Jackson is currently dealing with a contract dispute. The Ravens superstar wanted more guaranteed money than the Ravens were willing to spend. Now, heading into the offseason, the Ravens have a dilemma on their hands. Effectively, they need to make some big decisions in regard to Jackson.

Lamar Jackson Franchise Tag

Subsequently, there is a ton of reporting being done in regard to Jackson. For instance, Ian Rapoport was on Good Morning Football this morning where he spoke about the Ravens’ plans. Overall, the Ravens want to keep Jackson and will offer him a long-term deal.

However, if Jackson doesn’t like the guaranteed money aspect, there is a good chance that he will decline. From there, the Ravens will just hit him with the franchise tag, as they would rather not lose him.

In a report from Peter King, however, it was noted that the Ravens could use a different kind of franchise tag. This tag would allow other teams to offer Jackson a deal. From there, the Ravens can either match it, or let him walk for some draft compensation.

Per Peter King:

I think it’s going to be hard for Jackson to get a long-term contract without significant protection for the team. Which means, to me, a significant likelihood that the Ravens may use the non-exclusive franchise tag for Jackson. If he agrees to a contract with another team, the Ravens could match it or be awarded two first-round picks (or a different deal the two teams could negotiate) if the Ravens do not match it.

Based on these reports, it is clear that the Ravens know they need Jackson. Whether or not they will throw the proper money at him, remains to be seen.
