Cordae & Anderson .Paak’s “Two Tens” Collab Tops Our Latest “Fire Emoji” Update

Last weekend, A$AP Rocky made a triumphant return to our Fire Emoji playlist. Now, though, it’s Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s turn to show hip-hop lovers how it’s done.

Their “Two Tens” collaboration landed on streamers earlier this weekend, concurrently earning the top spot on our Spotify roundup. Aside from boasting impressive lyricism from both artists, it also found J. Cole sitting in the producer’s seat alongside Dem Jointz.

Our next selection is another joint track, “Tally” from midwxst and Denzel Curry. Following that comes the remix of Flo Milli’s TikTok-viral You Still Here, Ho? single, “Conceited.”

For the latest edition of the fire, braggadocious bad bitch anthem, the Alabama native worked with quickly rising star Lola Brooke, as well as Maiya The Don.

As far as solo efforts go, this weekend brought a good number. Bouba Savage’s work on “WIN A LOT” caught our ear, as did two new titles from EST Gee. Both “IF I STOP NOW” and “BLOW UP” can be found on Fire Emoji, with just one noteworthy collaboration separating them.

That joint single comes from Ray Vaughn and Ab-Soul, who previously made waves with his Herbert album. The new release, “Sandcastles” has quickly become a fan favourite for various reasons.

Amping audiences up for their forthcoming SremmLife 4 project is Rae Sremmurd. The sibling duo kept the party going this New Music Friday with “Sucka Or Sum,” which is due to appear on the long-awaited album.

Finally, we hear from KayCyy and BabyTron on their “MOTOWN” song, followed by our last selection of the week – SleazyWorld Go’s “Robbers and Villains.”

Further down, you’ll find new arrivals from names like Trippie Redd, Headie One, Ice Spice, and Gucci Mane.

A$AP Rocky’s New Single Is On “Fire Emoji” This Weekend

Over the past few weeks, our Fire Emoji playlist has delivered heat from artists such as Moneybagg Yo, French Montana, and NBA YoungBoy. This weekend, the hot new arrivals continue to pour in. This is thanks to new projects from names like Ice Spice and Trippie Redd, not to mention a ton of exciting singles.

At the top of our latest roundup comes two titles from the “Miss the Rage” hitmaker’s MANSION MUSIK album. “FULLY LOADED” with Future and Lil Baby made the cut, as well as “KRZY TRAIN” featuring Travis Scott.

Elsewhere on our update, you’ll hear a posthumous feature from Juice WRLD, who lent his talents to “KNIGHT CRAWLER.”

It’s been nearly five years since A$AP Rocky delivered his Testing album. The father of one looks to be preparing for his next project’s arrival lately. His “Same Problems?” single landed earlier this week.

“Don’t bite the hand that feed you / I don’t hear or see no evil / Dilatin’ like my pupils / Means I already peeped you,” the New Yorker rhymes on the first track from Don’t Be Dumb.

Holding things down for the UK rap scene with a Fire Emoji-worthy title is Headie One. On “Martin’s Sofa,” he markedly samples Flatbush Zombie’s “Palm Trees” track while reflecting on his previously dangerous lifestyle.

Of course, our playlist wouldn’t be complete without some love for female rap stars. Firstly, Gloss Up and GloRilla connected for their “Bestfrenn” collaboration, following a string of successful joint tracks for the Memphis native.

Additionally, Ice Spice made her mark on Friday (January 20) with her Like..? EP. The entire six-track project is worth listening too, but we’re shouting out the Bronx baddie’s “Gangsta Boo” with Lil Tjay.

Moneybagg Yo & GloRilla’s Collab Brings The Heat To Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Our first Fire Emoji update of the year began with a new joint from Ice Spice, “In Ha Mood.” This weekend, we’re continuing to show love to our rising female artists. Specifically, we have a shoutout to GloRilla’s new collaboration with Moneybagg Yo – “On Wat U On.”

Both Southern-hailing rappers had an impressive run in 2022. Their latest work proves that the trend will likely continue into the new year. More new music and other projects are on the way from them both.

Another joint track we love comes from 21 Lil Harold and 21 Savage with “Ain’t On None.” The former rapper dropped off his After The Curse album on Friday (January 13). It comes complete with other appearances from Young Nudy, G Herbo, and Nardo Wick.

He certainly had a dramatic week with Big Scarr’s family throwing shade at him on social media. However, that didn’t stop Gucci Mane from bringing the heat. His latest release comes in the form of the Fire Emoji worthy “King Snipe” with Kodak Black.

“I’m that n*gga that smack all the smackers so I am the biggest stepper, five-five,” the Florida native spits on the first verse. “I’m a hot boy, my bitch the coldest, yeah, opposite attract / You got one time to raise your voice in here, then I’ma get the strap.”

Following that comes Armani White and Denzel Curry’s work together on “GOATED.” as well as Swizz Beatz and Jadakiss“Hustle, Repeat” alongside the Godfather of Harlem.

Our final Fire Emoji selection for your weekend streaming comes from ALLBLACK and Curren$y, who dropped off “Pelicans” this Friday.

Further down, you’ll hear previous releases from names like French Montana, Popcaan, NBA YoungBoy, and more.

Ab-Soul, Russ, & Big Sean “GO OFF” On Our Latest “Fire Emoji” Update

Christmas is rapidly approaching. However, before they settle in for the holidays, some of your favourite artists continue to share new music. Surprisingly, December has seen some strong contenders for AOTY, namely from entertainers like Metro Boomin and SZA. This past Friday (December 16), even more heat arrived, aptly adding to the already impressive roster you’ll find on our Fire Emoji playlist.

Of this weekend’s many albums, arguably the most highly anticipated comes from Ab-Soul. The TDE artist dropped off HERBERT yesterday. It came along with an admission that he survived a suicide attempt during the project’s recording process.

Titles we’ve picked from the record include “GO OFF” with Russ and Big Sean, as well as “FOMF.” Additionally, “GOODMAN” with Punch, “NO REPORT CARD,” and “GOTTA RAP” are receiving plenty of love.

Another big release in the hip-hop world was Young Dolph’s posthumous album, Paper Route Frank. The entire thing is obviously worth a listen, though the title you’ll find on our Fire Emoji roundup is “Thats How” with Key Glock.

After that, we wear from Lil Durk and Future’s “Mad Max.” The superstar dup collaborated on the track for the former’s Only The Family – Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros 2 compilation project.

Other guest appearances on the 23-song-long tracklist come from Kodak Black, King Von, Icewear Vezzo, and Trippie Redd, just to name a few.

On The Alchemist Sandwich the renowned producer connected with several noteworthy artists. Of the 10-track project’s two new titles, we’ve selected “Clip In A Tray” as the more Fire Emoji-worthy.

NBA YoungBoy is continuing his tradition of being one of the most consistently releasing rappers in the game. This weekend, he connected with D-ROK on “Military” for Rich Gang.

Our final new title is a collaborative effort from Chief Keef and Wiz Khalifa – “Rider.”

Moneybagg Yo Drops Off A “Quickie” For Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Metro Boomin held things down for us on our Fire Emoji update last weekend with his HEROES & VILLAINS album. This Saturday (December 10), Memphis’ Moneybagg Yo is taking the lead with his new “Quickie” single.

On the new track, the 31-year-old samples Lamont Dozier’s “Prelude.” Throughout the song he cleverly raps, “Came from different planets, then, one day, we intertwined / We relate on different levels, we got compatible signs.”

Following that we have a collaboration from A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s new album. “Water (Drowning Pt. 2)” with Kodak Black caught our attention – not to mention all the praise it’s been getting from fans.

Next, we have Bslime’s “Whippin It” featuring Young Thug. Currently, the YSL founder is eagerly awaiting his January 2023 RICO trial along with the rest of the world.

Lil Durk came through with a solo single earlier this week. On “Hanging With Wolves” the Chicago native shows out in his usual style. Afterward, we hear from Icewear Vezzo and Future on their link up from the former’s Paint the City (Gangsta Grillz) tape in tandem with DJ Drama.

Another standout from A Boogie’s Me vs. Myself project is “Bounce Back.” Additionally, we’ve been loving Kay Flock and BIG30’s joint release, “Outta Luck.”

Holding things down for the female rap stars this weekend is Connie Diiamond. After sharing a series of successful singles over the past few weeks, she’s made her mark with “Winter Bae.”

Sha EK’s “41 Ways” and Rolling Loud’s first single from their compilation album appear after that. For the festival’s part, they recruited Rae Sremmurd and Duke Deuce to create “Finger Food.”

Next, we have “Paraphernalia 2.0” from BigKayBeezy and G Herbo and “Fam Without Blood” by Skiifall.

Our final pick for our weekly playlist comes from SZA’s SOS album, “Smoking on my Ex Pack.”

Kodak Black Reminds Us “[He’s] So Awesome” On Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

It was a huge weekend for new hip-hop releases, and our latest Fire Emoji playlist update clearly reflects that.

At the top of the Saturday (October 1) roundup comes a selection from Freddie Gibbs’ new $oul $old $eparately album, “Zipper Bagz,” following the Indiana native’s appearance last weekend with the James Blake-produced tune, “Dark Hearted.”

As far as collaborations go, Smino and J. Cole stole the show with their “90 Proof” joint track, although Quavo and Takeoff also caught our attention with their “Nothing Changed” effort.

Kodak Black has been steadily sharing new music all throughout 2022, and his most recent arrival comes in the form of a braggadocious solo single called “I’m So Awesome.”

“Flex on these n*ggas, I make it look easy / I’m draggin’ my nuts, they be all on my Fiji / Drippin’ on these bitches, they eatin’ my spit up / Ran out of gas, I’ma need me a fill up,” the Florida native raps.

Other standout selections from Gibbs’ album include “PYS” featuring DJ Paul and “Gold Rings” with Pusha T, while from YG’s new I GOT ISSUES project, we picked “No Weapon” in collaboration with Nas as our favourite.

Closing out our list is two more joint tracks – the first from DDG’s It’s Not Me It’s You (“9 Lives” with Polo G and NLE Choppa), and the second from Kid Cudi’s Entergalactic (“Somewhere to Fly” featuring Don Toliver).
