Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem’s “The Hillbillies” Is A Must-Hear On Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Fire Emoji time is here once again, and this Saturday (June 10) we have a beautiful balance of male and female artists for you to check out. Coming in at the top of today’s round-up is Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar, who dropped off a surprise single, “The Hillbillies” earlier this week. They tapped Tyler, The Creator to join them in the accompanying visual, and while the Goblin artist doesn’t provide any bars, he did show off his dance moves – along with the location for his next edition of the annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival.

Another collaboration we’ve been loving is J Hus’ “Who Told You” featuring Drake. It arrives just weeks before the Canadian is set to head out on tour with 21 Savage. Following that comes the City Girls’ work on “I Need A Thug,” which received mixed reaction online, but was only a warm-up for what they delivered to us on New Music Friday. Elsewhere, Joyner Lucas and NBA YoungBoy joined forces for “Cut U Off.”

Sexyy Red is still riding the high of her “Pound Town 2” collaboration with Nicki Minaj at the end of May, but the rising rap diva isn’t done impressing us yet. Her Hood Hottest Princess project landed yesterday, and we’ve picked “SkeeYee” as the tracklist’s must-listen title. Aside from that, we also suggest Doe Boy and G Herbo’s collaboration with Future and Roddy Ricch on “TRY & SEE.” The fully loaded song appears on the first lyricist’s new BEEZY album, along with other noteworthy features.

Babyface Ray is making waves with his All Star Team LP, which we’re highlighting the title track from, and Rob49 made an impressive return on “Woedy” with Birdman. Finally, Yung Miami and Caresha’s aforementioned NMF drop, “Pinata” is the perfect pre-game party banger for summer. Stream all the latest additions exclusively on our Fire Emoji Spotify playlist. Latto & Cardi B “Put It On Da Floor Again” For This Week’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Now that June is here, the smell of summer is wafting clearly through the air, and on our Fire Emoji update. At this time, many of our favourite artists are trying to get ahead of things by dropping off the song of the season to ensure it gets maximum exposure at the clubs and on the radio over the next few months. So far, one of the biggest standouts is Cardi B and Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again,” which finds the mother of two spitting one of the strongest verses we’ve heard from her in a minute.

Of course, there’s also the latest headline-making single from Gunna too. Titled “bread & butter,” the nearly four-minute-long track includes alleged disses aimed at Lil Baby and Lil Durk, however, the YSL artist has denied throwing shade at the former. As for fire collaborations, the latest from Moneybagg Yo and Future (“Keep It Low”), as well as Dave and Central Cee (“Sprinter”) both have our Fire Emoji seal of approval.

Following that comes LUCKI’s “NO BAP,” Saba and NO ID’s “hue_man nature,” and another joint from Bagg’s Hard To Love project, “Still.” Machine Gun Kelly is applying serious “PRESSURE” with his hot new single, and Metro Boomin’s skills continue to shine on the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack. While the full 13-track release is obviously a must-listen, our personal favourite is “Annihilate.” On that, the producer links up with Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, and Offset, all of whom come through with insect-themed bars.

Kid Cudi continues to step back into the spotlight with “PORCHE TOPLESS,” and Flo Milli doined forces with Trina and Maiya The Don to give us a shemix of “No Love.” Beneath that you’ll find more from Metro Boomin, as well as French Montana and Kodak Black’s “I Can’t Lie” collab. Stream this week’s full Fire Emoji update exclusively on Spotify above. Are there any new arrivals you think we should’ve added? Let us know in the comments, and check back on Sunday to find more release recommendations on our R&B Season playlist.

Symba Is The “Top G” On Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist Today

We’re midway through another weekend, making it the perfect time to deliver our latest Fire Emoji playlist update. At the very top of our list today comes a collaboration from Belly and Rick Ross on “Cocaine Spoon” from the former’s new Mumble Rap 2 project. The 11-track effort is just one of several that made its debut on New Music Friday (May 19), also boasting guest appearances from NAV, Gucci Mane, and Gil Scott-Heron.

Carrying the torch for female rappers is Connie Diiamond, who impressed us yet again with her latest single, “What They Do.” We also have quickly fallen in love with Aminé and Kaytranada’s joint effort, KAYTRAMINÉ. If you don’t have time to check out the full album, we suggest starting with “Master P” as a sampler, which is sure to lure you toward other titles on the tracklist. Following that comes Jay Worthy’s latest, “The Plug,” on which he connected with an iconic trio – Roc Marciano, Kokane, and Ab-Soul.

Ahead of the arrival of his highly anticipated LP next weekend, Lil Durk has given us another single. Earlier this month and J. Cole connected on “All My Life,” and now, he’s worked with EST Gee on “Spinnin’.” While Toosii found success all alone on “Favorite Song” earlier this year, he tapped Future to appear on the “Toxic Version” this weekend, which fans of the duo are already loving. Elsewhere in the news, Hendrix has said he’s hard at work on Dirty Sprite 3, much to hip-hop head’s delight.

Finally, we have a solo offering from Symba, called “Top G.” The hot new single came shortly after the lyricist shared his thoughts on Ja Morant’s ongoing situation with the NBA, which has warranted plenty of celebrity reactions over the past few days. Stream this week’s full Fire Emoji update exclusively on Spotify above. Did we leave out any of your New Music Friday favourites? Lil Durk & J. Cole’s First Collab, “All My Life” Is A “Fire Emoji” Playlist Stand Out: Stream

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the massive slew of new music that arrived this weekend, you’ll be happy to know that our Fire Emoji update is highlighting our personal favourites for your streaming consideration. Coming in at the top of the list is, unsurprisingly, Lil Durk and J. Cole’s first-ever link-up on “All My Life,” which is set to appear on the Chicago native’s highly anticipated project later this month. Following that comes several other joint efforts, such as A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “MVP” featuring G-Eazy, and CHASE B’s “Ring Ring” assisted by Travis Scott and Don Toliver.

As they continue to prepare their long-awaited Pink Tape for us, Lil Uzi Vert lent their talents to the remix of Veeze’s “GOMD.” Elsewhere, Killer Mike and Eryn Allen Kane came together for “MOTHERLESS” and Deante’ Hitchcock joined forces with Shamba to create “Zodiac.” Of course, there are several solo singles that have caught our attention for Fire Emoji too, namely from Rican Da Menace and NBA YoungBoy.

The former, a quickly rising starlet, showed out on her latest effort, “No Problems,” this New Music Friday. As for the Louisana lyricist, he turned out his third full-length effort of 2023 with Richest Opp. If you have time to check out just one title from YB’s mixtape, we suggest you pick “Bitch Let’s Do It,” though “F*ck The Industry Pt. 2” also contains plenty of noteworthy disses. Finally, our last two titles of the week see several heavy hitters working together.

Jay Worthy and Roc Marciano dropped “Wake Up” together and closing things out today is MARCO PLUS and Chris Patrick’s “Lift Me Up,” which is sure to bring the energy you’ve been craving to your own playlist. Lil Baby’s New Single, “Go Hard,” Sets The Tone For Our Latest “Fire Emoji” Playlist

The first New Music Friday of May has certainly brought with it plenty of evidence that our favourite lyricists aren’t coming to play this month. From must-hear new projects landing by DaBaby, Destroy Lonely, and Conway the Machine to singles arriving via Belly, IDK, and Lil Baby, we’ve got plenty to get into on this weekend’s Fire Emoji playlist update. Leading the way is the latter, Atlanta-based artist, who dropped off “Go Hard” this past Wednesday.

Besides new music from the My Turn hitmaker, we also selected a must-listen joint from Conway’s WON’T HE DO IT project. Our personal favourite is “Brooklyn Chop House” featuring Fabolous and Benny The Butcher, though we also spotlighted “Brucifix” on our new releases panel. Following that comes a collaborative effort from JELEEL! and Chow Lee, called “CONFETTI!,” as well as a solo effort from Belly, “Ambiance.”

As for other noteworthy joint titles, “Pissy” from Gucci Mane, Nardo Wick, and Roddy Ricch comes to mind, along with “Pinot Noir” from IDK, Jucee Froot, and Saucy Santana. We also heard SleazyWorld Go tap Polo G for “Off The Court,” and Lil Uzi Vert makes serious waves with their work on Snow Strippers’ “It’s A Dream.” From DaBaby’s CALL DA FIREMAN EP, we’ve been loving his “SELLIN CRACK” collaboration with Offset. Finally, from Destroy Lonely’s highly anticipated If Looks Could Kill album, we’ve picked two songs for your streaming consideration.

The first, “superstar,” appears midway through our list. At the very end, you’ll find our other choice – “money & sex – bonus” with Ken Carson. Of the 26 titles on the 21-year-old’s project, it’s the only one he included a feature on, letting his captivating presence, lyrical abilities and confidence carry him through the rest on his own. Jack Harlow Leads The Way On Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update With Tracks From “Jackman”

As April comes to a close, we’re rapidly approaching the halfway mark of 2023. While we’ve yet to hear from some of our favourite artists, others have been proudly showing out over the past four months, fueling the industry and bringing joy to their fans with new singles and albums. One name, in particular, who hip-hop heads were pleasantly surprised to hear from this weekend is Jack Harlow, who delivered ten featureless rap-heavy tracks on his Jackman album. As expected, a selection of titles from the project have landed on today’s (April 29) Fire Emoji playlist update.

At the top of our list is “They Don’t Love It,” which is currently sparking an online debate surrounding the Kentucky native. While he proudly declared himself “the coldest white boy” since Eminem, many Twitter users argue that Mac Miller, among others, is more deserving of the title. Another noteworthy song from his third studio album is “Gang Gang Gang,” which finds Harlow chiefly flexing his improved pen game. Apart from the 25-year-old’s latest, we’ve also picked collaborations from Rich The Kid, Fivio Foreign, and Jay Critch (“Still Movin’”), as well as Conway the Machine’s “The Chosen” with Jae Skeese.

Our sole new female Fire Emoji single comes from New York’s Lola Brooke, who brought plenty of nostalgia with her “Just Relax” single. Along with that came an accompanying music video, during which the 29-year-old got to turn up at a lit house party with her friends. Elsewhere, Boosie Badazz, Kodak Black, and Jeezy formed a trifecta for the remix of “Rocketman.” Finally, we selected Just Juice’s joint effort with Logic and Trippie Redd, “Sweeter Scars,” for your weekend listening consideration.

Swizz Beatz & Lil Wayne Light Up This Week’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

After another round of impressive New Music Friday arrivals yesterday (April 21), we’re back with our weekly Fire Emoji playlist update. Today’s lineup is one of our longest in a minute, and it kicks off with two new arrivals from NBA YoungBoy’s Don’t Try This At Home project. The first is “What You Say,” featuring Post Malone and The Kid LAROI, and following that comes a solo effort from the Louisana native called “Choppa Docter.” Prior to releasing his project, YB also shared collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Mariah the Scientist as singles.

Armani White delivered serious heat in the form of “SILVER TOOTH.”` with A$AP Ferg this week. The song is perfect to add to your S/S 2023 playlist and is just the start of what’s to come from the Def Jam artist later this year. Belly is another name we deemed Fire Emoji-worthy today, thanks to his work on “American Nightmare.” Of course, we would be remiss not to mention Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz’s work together on “This Sh*t Right Here” from the latter’s new Hip Hop 50: Vol 2 project.

The release recommendations don’t stop there. Tee Grizzley and Skilla Baby’s joint effort, “B&E Pt. 1” has also been deemed a must-listen, as well as a headline-making hit from one of our favourite rising female rap divas. Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor” has been stirring up plenty of attention online after she teased it during her first weekend performing at Coachella. Coi Leray accused the 777 artist of body shaming her with her lyrics, though she’s since admitted to over-reacting about the situation.

For our final Fire Emoji selection of the weekend, we’ve picked Moneybagg Yo’s “Motion God.” The single arrives amid criticism coming toward the southern star over the steep prices at his new restaurant, which he expertly clapped back recently. Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj’s “Princess Diana (Remix)” Lands At The Top Of Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

If the bright, springtime sunshine isn’t quite hot enough for your liking yet, we suggest you turn things up a few degrees by streaming our latest Fire Emoji playlist update. As always, we’ve returned this Saturday (April 15) with some of the week’s hottest releases for your consideration and listening pleasure. Kicking things off, unsurprisingly at the top of our list once again, is Ice Spice. The 23-year-old recently connected with Nicki Minaj to remix her “Princess Diana” track, which has had social media markedly singing the rap divas’ praise since its arrival.

Following that comes a solo effort from Kodak Black, called “No Love For A Thug.” It marks the Florida native’s first individual release of the year, arriving after his work with Gucci Mane on “King Snipe.” We were also impressed by the latest from Baka Not Nice, “Took A Trip,” which earned the lyricist a co-sign from Drake along with positive reviews from many listeners so far.

From NLE Choppa’s follow-up to his 2019 Cottonwood EP, we’ve hand-picked a joint effort with Polo G and G Herbo called “DISABILITY CHECKS.” Aside from those two, the Memphis native’s Cottonwood 2 also finds him collaborating with impressive names such as 2Rare, Lil Wayne, Lola Brooke, Fivio Foreign, Kevin Gates, Rick Ross, Queen Naija, and more. Elsewhere on our Fire Emoji update, two impressive collaborative efforts close things out, the first coming from Rick Ross, Fat Joe, and The LOX.

That trio came together to create “The Game,” while Tee Grizzley and Skilla Baby are making waves with their latest. They called it “Dropped The Lo,” and it arrived on New Music Friday (April 14) via 300 Entertainment. Stream our full Fire Emoji update exclusively on Spotify below. Juice WRLD Brings “The Light” To Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

On last weekend’s Fire Emoji update, we chiefly heard new arrivals from artists like EST Gee, Lil Keed, 03 Greedo, and Skillibeng, among others. Today’s roster is arguably equally as impressive, kicking off with yet another must-hear from frequent studio teammates, Hit-Boy and Nas, called “The Tide.” The two artists trade bars on the already beloved new track, which is a part of the former’s new Surf Or Drown project.

Across the 11-song tracklist, Hit-Boy expertly connects with names like Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Jay 305, and Devi Morrison. He also offers up two solo titles, “Big Hit Intro,” and “Composure Pt. 2,” proving that his skills take him much further than just producing. Following that on Fire Emoji comes another long-awaited collaboration – “Palisades, CA” from Larry June, The Alchemist, and Big Sean.

HNHH Fire Emoji Playlist

As fate would have it, today (March 25), is the latter rapper’s 35th birthday. It’s been some time since we’ve heard the father of one release anything on his own, so this new joint effort is being greatly appreciated by fans. As for solo titles on our playlist, Juice WRLD is holding it down with another posthumous single, “The Light,” reminding his fanbase of the joy he brought to their lives during his tragically short time on Earth.

More collaborative singles that caught our ear for this week’s Fire Emoji update include Internet Money’s “I Remember” featuring Roddy Ricch and Kodak Black as well as NLE Choppa and Lil Wayne’s new heat, “AIN’T GONNA ANSWER.” For female rap lovers, BIA came through with an incredible Timbaland single on New Music Friday, called “I’M THAT BITCH.”

Finally, JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown’s SCARING THE HOES project earned two spots on our playlist. So far, both “Fentanyl Tester” and “God Loves You” have surfaced as fan favourites, though more are sure to come as the album’s streams increase.

EST Gee Drops “BALL LIKE ME TOO,” Single Gets Our “Fire Emoji” Seal Of Approval

Following this New Music Friday (March 17), albums from Money Man, T-Pain, and the late Lil Keed have all been making waves. We also heard from GloRilla and Childish Gambino, as well as new singles from Tamar Braxton, Usher, and Diddy. A select few of these arrivals ended up on our weekly Fire Emoji playlist update, kicking off with “BALL LIKE ME TOO.”

The song comes from EST Gee’s new MAD project and finds him effortlessly rapping on the featureless track. Though he carried that one on his own, the 28-year-old did recruit friends like Young Scooter, Boosie Badazz, and Kada to help him out. They appear on titles like “SLAM DUNK,” “HOTBOYS,” and “KADAS SONG.” Thus far, listeners are also loving “The ONE & ONLY” as well as “PRAY YOU DIE IN SURGERY.”

HNHH Fire Emoji Update

Next up on our Fire Emoji update is the Phatnall Remix of GloRilla and Lil Durk’s “Ex’s,” which the rising rap star surprised fans with yesterday. Her Anyways, Life’s Great… EP arrived in late 2022, and she’s since shared plenty of hot singles to remind listeners that she’s coming in hot with her debut album down the road.

Following the sole female appearance of the weekend comes a posthumous song from Lil Keed’s new album. “All I Wanna Know” is just one of the 20-track project’s features from Young Thug, who was incarcerated shortly before the YSL rapper’s untimely death last year. His other bars can be heard on “Big Bag,” which also includes an appearance from Dolly White.

03 Greedo reminded the world that he’s “Bacc Like [He] Never Left” on his most recent song. Skillibeng also came through with a solo track, which he catchily titled “Short Skirt.” For those who prefer their songs sped up, the Jamaican artist also unleashed a faster version on DSPs.

Our final two Fire Emoji selections of the week are collaborative efforts. The first comes from JELEEL! and Armarni White, and is called “GNARLY!” – it’s every bit as awesome as the name makes it sound. Secondly is JPEGMAGIA’s “Lean Beef Patty,” on which he teamed up with Danny Brown to make more music magic.
