Snoop Dogg Launches Iconic Auction Featuring Memorabilia, PlayStations, and More

Snoop Dogg and Son Announce their own Fornite game studio to promote diverse creators

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg is giving fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of hip-hop history. The Long Beach native has teamed up with memorabilia-authentication and auction company The Realest to auction off an eclectic collection of items, with the event running from today until June 2.

According to Variety, Snoop’s auction features an array of iconic memorabilia. Items up for grabs include autographed photos, PlayStations, jackets, and jerseys. Producer and radio host Scott “DJ Skee” Keeney, the founder of The Realest, emphasized the uniqueness of the collection, telling Variety, “The items he is putting up are iconic. Everything from lyrics, awards — like ‘Pimp of the Year’! — unreleased tapes, outfits, sample toys, photos, scripts, concert riders, even a Snoop-authenticated smoked blunt in a crazy display case and ashtray.”

In addition to these standout items, the auction will feature autographed scripts from “The Boondocks” TV show, master recording tapes (though without the publishing rights), and a custom-boxed Death Row Records chain autographed by Snoop Dogg himself. Reflecting on the significance of the auction, Snoop noted, “This is sh*t that we have, but we didn’t know it was worth something.”

The auction’s diverse catalog underscores the growing market for hip-hop memorabilia, which has proven to be highly lucrative in recent years. Variety highlights that auctions involving hip-hop artifacts often yield substantial profits. Last year, for example, a mic thrown by Cardi B was auctioned for charity, and a rap book of Drake’s was sold the year prior. Notably, Drake himself purchased one of Tupac’s rings and Pharrell’s chain, the latter becoming a focal point in his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

DJ Skee views this auction as more than just a sale; it’s a new revenue opportunity for artists. “Items like setlists, stage equipment, outfits, signage, and more are things that fans desire but can’t find. It helps to build a new revenue stream for artists,” he explained.

For fans and collectors, this auction represents a rare chance to own memorabilia directly linked to one of hip-hop’s most enduring figures. As the event unfolds, it not only celebrates Snoop Dogg’s career but also highlights the broader cultural and financial significance of preserving and honoring hip-hop history.

Shyne Denounces Association with Diddy: ‘There is No Place for Violence Against Women’

Shyne is distancing himself from Diddy. Hitting Instagram, Shyne denounced any connection to the Bad Boy mogul.

“I vehemently denounce the repugnant behavior of Sean Diddy Combs captured on the video in which he is seen physically assaulting Mrs. Cassie Ventura-Fine,” Shyne wrote.

“There is no place for Violence against Women anywhere on the planet. As a father of a precious daughter, a global citizen and the next Prime Minister of Belize I want absolutely nothing to do with people who engage in this pattern of diabolical behavior.”

Diddy issued an apology on Instagram for his 2016 assault Cassie seen in hotel security camera footage. In response, Cassie’s lawyer released a statement.

“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” said attorney Meredith Firetog. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

2016 footage from the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles shows Diddy beating Cassie in the hotel’s hallway.

In the video released by CNN, Diddy is seen running down the hotel hallway in a towel to catch Cassie as she attempts to leave in an elevator. Diddy throws Cassie to the floor by her neck, followed by kicks, stomps and an attempt to drag her down the hall by her hood.

Cassie attempted to use a hotel phone only to be pushed to the ground by Diddy again. Later in the video, he throws a vase at the singer.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, released the following statement: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

The video is available below. As a warning, the video is graphic and displays physical assault.

This video arrived just days after Diddy posted a new message on Instagram. In the post, captioned “LOVE,” Diddy shared an image that says, “Time tells truth.”

A federal rade on Diddy’s properties in March, led to the seizure of electronic devices in both his Los Angeles and Miami homes.

According to ABC, Homeland Security executed the raid by order of a Manhattan federal court, seizing devices in an investigation of sex trafficking as a result of civil lawsuits against the music mogul from four women.

Diddy and his legal team released a statement following the raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes. In a statement, attorney Aaron Dyer stated that federal authorities used “military-level force” to execute the raid.

You can read the full statement below:

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.

This unprecedented ambush—paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence—leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

On Nov. 16, 2023, Cassie filed a now-settled lawsuit against Diddy in federal court, accusing the media mogul of rape and abuse that began a decade ago when she was just 19 years old. The “Me and You” singer was previously signed to Diddy’s label Bad Boy Records, meeting him back in 2005. Since then, she alleges he took control of her life and accused him of acts of sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual battery, sexual assault, and more.

In light of recent events, Cassie is hopeful Diddy will finally get the justice he deserves.

Her attorney issued a statement to Good Morning America following the raids of his home: “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”

Tyra Banks Hopes for ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Revival: “Maybe One Day”

Tyra Banks to Host and Executive Produce 'Dancing With the Stars'

Tyra Banks, the iconic supermodel and creator of “America’s Next Top Model,” has expressed her ongoing desire to revive the groundbreaking reality competition series. Despite her enthusiasm, she acknowledges that the decision is ultimately out of her hands.

“It’s not us,” Banks explained to E! News at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue launch party. “It’s the powers that be. I’m not the biggest boss in the room, so it’s not my doing. Maybe one day.”

It’s been over six years since Banks last stood before hopeful contestants, clutching the coveted photo that would determine their fate in the competition. During its original run, “America’s Next Top Model” became a cultural phenomenon, propelling numerous models to stardom and redefining beauty standards in the fashion industry.

The show, which debuted in 2003, saw Banks not only as the host but also as an executive producer and judge, guiding contestants through grueling challenges and transformative photo shoots. Over 24 cycles, the series showcased diverse beauty, creativity, and the fierce determination required to succeed in modeling.

While fans of “ANTM” continue to reminisce about the show’s dramatic moments, innovative photo shoots, and Tyra’s memorable critiques, the possibility of a revival remains uncertain. Banks’s comments suggest that despite her efforts, the show’s return is dependent on decisions made by higher authorities in the television industry.

The legacy of “America’s Next Top Model” is a testament to Banks’s vision and influence. The show not only entertained but also inspired discussions about beauty standards, diversity, and self-confidence. For many, it was more than just a reality show; it was a platform for empowerment and change.

As Banks continues to explore new ventures and projects, her hope for an “ANTM” revival reflects her commitment to the show’s mission. “America’s Next Top Model” may not be back on screens just yet, but Tyra Banks’s passion for discovering and nurturing new talent ensures that the spirit of the show lives on.

[WATCH] Cam’ron CNN Interview Goes Left After He Was Asked About Diddy’s Assault Video

Screenshot 2024 05 21 at 9.42.20 AM

Sports host and former Roc-A-Fella rapper Cam’ron appeared on CNN yesterday(May 20) for an interview about the disturbing 2016 video of Diddy assaulting Cassie in the InterContinental Hotel in L.A. and to say that the sit down did not go as planned by the news giant is an understatement.

Newsnight host Abby Phillip didn’t take waste time questioning the Dipset founder about Diddy and whether or not Cam noticed the man in the surveillance video to which Cam sharply responded, “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What do you mean my experiences?” The interview seemed to take the most unexpected turn when Phillip asked Cam about the Bad Boy mogul’s disgraceful apology video, where Diddy said he was sorry for his actions, but he did not apologize directly to Cassie because their settlement doesn’t allow him to say Cassie’s name in public.

Cam, in a frustrated tone, replied to Phillip, “The apology ain’t for me to decide, it’s for Cassie. He ain’t do nothing for me. What I think about it don’t matter.” In the middle of their banter, Cam takes down a shot of PinkHorsePower, a sexual enhancement drink popular in NYC bodegas, with Cam proudly boasting he was going to get “some cheeks” after downing the shot.

Phillip didn’t make things better when she asked if the rap industry protected DIddy from being held accountable for his heinous actions. In the most embarrassing manner for the network, Cam asked, “Who booked me for this joint?”

Happy Heavenly Birthday Notorious B.I.G.! 10 Memorable Biggie Verses

HappyBirthdayNotoriousB.I.G.!(R.I.P.)MemorableBiggieVerses

Today, “the greatest rapper of all time” was born; Brooklyn’s own Christopher Wallace, better known as the Notorious B.I.G. Smalls had the game on lock before an unknown suspect gunned him down on March 9, 1997. His music, however, lives on.

From his debut single, “Juicy,” to charted success through his collaborations with protégé group, Junior Mafia to the infamous East Coast/West Coast beef, and his individual feud with West Coast rapper, Tupac, Smalls’ triumph is legendary and continues to resonate with fans.

The rap slayer had numerous hits in his catalog and even more memorable lines. There were several times, however, Smalls was ruthless and aggressive, although as fans we may have been unaware if there was an underlying issue or a diss record target, but we definitely rapped along with his merciless storytelling lyrics. In honor of the Notorious’ 46th birthday, here are 10 most cutthroat Biggie Smalls lyrics.

  1. Dead Wrong

“Relax and take notes, while I take tokes of the marijuana smoke. Throw you in a choke – gun smoke, gun smoke. Biggie Smalls for mayor, the rap slayer, the hooker layer – motherf*cker say your prayers. Hail Mary full of grace; smack the b*tch in the face, take her Gucci bag and the North Face off her back. Jab her if she act funny with the money, oh you got me mistaken honey.”

  1. Machine Gun Funk

“Sticks and stones break bones, but the gat’ll kill you quick, especially when I’m drunk off the liquor.”

  1. Respect

“Now I’m thirteen, smokin’ blunts, makin’ cream, on the drug scene, f*ck a football team. Riskin’ ruptured spleens by the age of sixteen. Hhearing ‘ the coach scream at my lifetime dream, I mean I wanna blow up, stack my dough up. So school I didn’t show up, it f*cked my flow up.”

  1. Kick In Ya Door

“So, Jesus, get off the Notorious penis, before I squeeze and bust. If the beef between us, we can settle it with the chrome and metal sh*t. I make it hot, like a kettle get, you’re delicate, you better get, who sent ya?”

  1. Party and Bullsh*t

“But all we wanna know is “Where the party at?” And can i bring my gat? If not, I hope I don’t get shot. But I throw my vest on my chest ’cause n*ggas is a mess. It don’t take nothin’ but frontin’ for me to start somethin’.”

  1. 10 Crack Commandments

“Number nine, shoulda been number one to me: if you ain’t getting bagged stay the f*ck from the police. If n*ggas think you snitchin they aint tryna listen. They be sitting in your kitchen, waiting to start hitting.”

  1. Suicidal Thoughts

“When I die, f*ck it I wanna go to hell. Cause I’m a piece of sh*t, it ain’t hard to f*ckin’ tell. It don’t make sense, goin’ to heaven wit the goodie-goodies. Dressed in white, I like black timbs and black hoodies. God will probably have me on some real strict shit. No sleepin’ all day, no gettin my d*ck licked.”

  1. Notorious Thugs

“Armed and dangerous, ain’t too many can bang with us. Straight up weed, no angel dust, label us Notorious. Thug ass n*ggas that love to bust, it’s strange to us. Y’all n*ggas be scramblin, gambling. Up in restaurants with mandolins, and violins. We just sittin here tryin to win, tryin not to sin. High off weed and lots of gin. So much smoke need oxygen, steadily counting them Benjamins.”

  1. Who Shot Ya?

“Who shot ya? Separate the weak from the obsolete. Hard to creep them Brooklyn streets. It’s on, n*gga, f*ck all that bickering beef. I can hear sweat trickling down your cheek. Your heartbeat sound like Sasquatch feet. Thundering, shaking the concrete….

I burn, baby, burn like Disco Inferno. Burn slow like blunts with yayo. Peel more skins than Idaho potato. N*ggas know, the lyrical molestin’ is takin’ place. F*ckin’ with B.I.G. it ain’t safe.”

  1. Freestlye at MSG

“I got 7 Mac-11’s. About eight 38s. Nine 9s. 10 Mac Tens. The shit never ends. You can’t touch my riches. Even if you had MC Hammer and them 357 b*tches…..Oh my God I’m dropping shit like a pigeon. I hope your listening. Smacking babies at their christening.”
