Fivio Foreign Recalls Mistaking Nicki Minaj Song For A Shoutout

Fivio Foreign recently discussed his viral video from last year in which he mistakenly thought the hook of Nicki Minaj’s song, “Everybody,” was a shoutout to him. He reflected on the mishap during an interview with The Breakfast Club on Thursday. Fivio and Minaj previously collaborated on the track, “We Go Up,” in 2022.

“It sound like she said ‘Fivi’ right?” he laughed, referencing a point in the song where Minaj says “body.”. “Nah, somebody told me that. [They were like], ‘Look, she says Fivi!’ But you know what it is? I ain’t really listen to the whole song. I was just hearing that part. They was like, ‘The sample is going viral on TikTok.’ I’m like, oh sh*t. [But then] I listened to the song and I saw the title and I’m like, ‘Oh sh*t. Aight.’ But I knew it before I posted it, but I was like, I’m still gonna post it.”

Nicki Minaj & The Barbz Get “Everybody” To Chart Amid Megan Thee Stallion Beef

Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Hiss” has certainly been making waves, but the Barbz have made sure that Nicki Minaj hasn’t lost out on any of the spotlight. For those who don’t know, Meg threw quite a bit of shade Nicki’s way on the song, seemingly calling out her husband for being a registered sex offender.

This has resulted in a massive feud between Meg and Nicki’s fiercely loyal fanbases online. Amid the debacle, Nicki has liked some shady Tweets aimed at Meg, and is already in the process of readying her response, “Big Foot.” She even recently called on her fans to get her Pink Friday 2 track with Lil Uzi Vert, “Everybody,” to re-enter the charts.

Nicki Minaj Believes In Fans

“Barbz, the decision is yours,” she wrote earlier today alongside a post about the track. Barbz in the comments quickly came through with screenshots of their purchases and demands for others to buy the song. Shortly after, Nicki shared a Tweet about the song nearing the top 10 on iTunes, encouraging them to continue. “Oh that was quick barbz! I believe in you,” she wrote. “Let’s go.” On the other side of things, Meg recently took to Twitter to promote “Hiss,” urging fans to “run it up.”

She just recently unveiled the song’s accompanying music video, which is receiving a ton of praise online. Nicki continues to promote Pink Friday 2 on Twitter, boasting about the album’s success. She also recently dropped a list of Meg’s flaws. “Every album she’s ever released= flopped. Paid media all the time. Fraudulent awards = flopped. Horrible ACTOR that can’t cry on cue don’t try to act bookie it’s a chop. Pathological & manipulative liar. Using ghost writers & still SUCK,” she wrote. Kanye West “Vultures:” Backstreet Boys Never Gave Full Permission For “Everybody Sample”

Kanye West is previewing his new album with Ty Dolla Sign right now. Overall, the album is called Vultures and it promises to be a huge release right as the year comes to a close. In fact, it is supposed to come out on Friday, December 15th. This is an ambitious release date given the fact that Ye is known for delaying his albums. However, last night, he held the listening party for the album, and there were a ton of huge features. For instance, we heard tracks from Lil Baby, Freddie Gibbs, and yes, North West.

One of the songs that seems to be getting a lot of attention is the intro track “Everybody.” This is a song that contains a pretty obvious sample of “Everybody” by the Backstreet Boys. Since debuting the song, many fans have thought about just how expensive this sample must have been. Well, it turns out that Kanye doesn’t even know. According to TMZ, Ye was never given full clearance for the sample. Simply put, he probably will not be able to release this by Friday.

Kanye West – “Everybody”

Overall, things could absolutely change by then. However, it is going to take a lot of convincing to get this cleared. After all, it is an iconic sample, and Ye is not someone that a lot of people want to be associated with. Moreover, with the album dropping in just three days, the pressure is on. It could very well be a situation where Ye just scraps the song entirely. Ultimately, this would be a huge detriment to his album and a significant portion of its marketing. Only time will tell whether or not Kanye will eventually get that stamp of approval.

Let us know what you think of the Kanye West album so far, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always keep you informed on your favorite artists. Not to mention, we will keep bringing you new songs, daily.

Kanye West Previews Single With Backstreet Boys Sample, Timbaland Confirms Producer Credit

Kanye West has shared another preview for a track from his upcoming collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign. “Everybody” was briefly previewed in a video shared by West, which showed the rapper standing imposingly on a balcony as the track played. The brief clip shared confirms that the song includes a prominent sample of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys that melts into an enticing beat.

Elsewhere, Timbaland also confirmed that he has served as a producer on the album. “One of my best body of work,” Timbaland wrote on Instagram while showing a hand-written tracklist. The reveal came soon after Dolla Sign revealed the tracklist in full himself. Of particular note, the album appears to include “New Body“, the track the pair recorded with Nicki Minaj and never released. However, it remains to be seen if Minaj remains on the track.

Kanye West Continues To Cause Controversy

However, the rollout of the new album has not been without controversy. People have taken issue with West’s choice to use the double-headed eagle motif to promote the album. On the surface, the symbol merely appears to be the same motif used on the Albanian flag and one that appears in iconography as far back as the Bronze Age. However, it also bears a similarity to the Reichsadler, an imperial eagle design used throughout German history. Of course, that also includes usage by the Nazis during their 13-year control of the country.

Not helping matters for West is some of the other content that has emerged surrounding the album. An alleged snippet of a new song appears to see Ye make reference to his history of anti-semitism. “They say I’m anti-Semitic. But I just f-cked a Jewish b-tch. I just f-cked a Jewish b-tch,” Ye can be heard rapping in the leaked bar. It’s unclear what the context of the line is within the larger song. However, it’s just more proof that Ye is intent only doubling down on his controversial behavior.

Blueface Claims All Men Cheat

During a recent interview with RapTV, Blueface made some strong claims about all men cheating on their partners. On Wednesday (April 19), the “Bleed It” MC stood by every single man being unfaithful to their partners, as it’s just in their nature. However, he also made some interesting distinctions between romantic fidelity and loyalty to your partner, which for him is Chrisean Rock. According to the 26-year-old, there’s a difference between sleeping with other people and making sure your main partner is better in more important areas. If you cheat but make sure your partner’s doing well financially and mentally, it seems like Blue considers that to be much more important.

“Let me break it down for you,” Blueface remarked around the 22:36 mark of the interview. “Every man you’ve ever been with has cheated on you. Whether they are gonna tell you, whether you find out after, before whenever. They have stepped out of the relationship. Even the guy you with now. He’s cheating on you. I guarantee it. It’s just a manly thing. Men are hunters. We go hunt. We not gon’ tell you everything we knocked down, everything we hunted. Be realistic. I don’t think cheating and loyalty are in the same bracket. It’s a moment of vulnerability. I think loyalty is more of, ‘I’ma always make sure you straight.’ Mentally, financially. I could be with a b***h right now. If I make sure you straight, I consider that loyalty.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, he also spoke on warming up to the idea of Chrisean actually being pregnant with his child. However, he still wants her to get a DNA test for the baby, although he said it with much less skepticism than he has before. “Hell yeah,” he replied the host asked him if about getting genetic confirmation. “It’s an eight out of 10 chance [it’s my baby]. Those are pretty good odds. It’s a 80 percent chance. I’ma be realistic with myself.”

Meanwhile, Blueface is anticipating his boxing match with TikTok star Ed Matthews later this month. Between social media promotion and talking smack to Matthews online, he seems quite excited to step into the ring. Still, many wonder whether these latest comments on cheating will get a response from Rock. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Blueface.
