The people have been waiting. A couple weeks ago, Drake decided to diss Kendrick Lamar with “First Person Shooter,” and onlookers have been anticipating how Lamar would fire back. Finally, Lamar did today (April 30) with “Euphoria,” in which he goes all out on Drake for six minutes.

There’s so much about this song to dissect, but there’s one lyric fans have been looking at that prompts the following question:

Was Kendrick Lamar Supposed To Be On Drake And J. Cole’s “First Person Shooter?”

“Euphoria” certainly has some believing that’s the case. On the track, Lamar raps:

“I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk
I hate the way that you dress
Surprised you wanted that feature request
You know that we got some sh*t to address.”

This comes after earlier this month, Joe Budden indicated that he heard Lamar was originally supposed to be on the song.

Meanwhile, the song is full of other barbs, including, “You not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of bеing accepted / Tommy Hilfiger stood out, but FUBU nеver had been your collection,” and, “My first one like my last one: it’s a classic, you don’t have one / Let your core audience stomach that; didn’t tell ’em where you get your abs from.” Uproxx’s Aaron Williams breaks down some of the best ones here.

Gillie Da Kid Labels Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Corny,” Says Drake & Chris Brown Are Up

Gillie Da Kid isn’t a fan of Kendrick Lamar’s new diss track, “Euphoria,” on which he takes aim at Drake amid their ongoing feud. The Million Dollaz Worth Of Game host voiced his first impression of the song in a video posted to social media on Tuesday. While filming himself in his car, Gillie explains that he thinks the track is corny and that Drake is up 2-0 in the beef.

“I f*ck with Kendrick but that sh*t was corn on the cob man,” Gillie said. “You know what’s crazy man? The light-skinned n****s is winning three to nothing. Drake up two to nothing. Chris Brown up one to nothing. Just take me back. I remember in the late eighties light skin n****s ran everything up to the late eighties. Then Nino Brown pistol-whipped every light-skinned n***a in New Jack City. Then they had it bad all the way up to Steph Curry and Chris Brown and Klay Thompson and Drake. Now the light-skinned n****s doing what they want.”

On the track, Lamar goes off on the Toronto rapper, accusing him of being a “scam artist,” implying he’s a bad father, and much more. At one point, he brings up Drake’s previous feud with Pusha T. He raps: “I don’t like you poppin’ sh*t, that sh*t for real, I inherit the beef / Yeah, f*ck all that pushin’ P, let me see you push-a-T / You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me?” At another point, he brings Drake’s race into the conversation. “How many more fairytale stories about your life ’til we’ve had enough?” Lamar raps. “How many more Black features ’til you finally feel that you’re Black enough?”

Drake Seemingly Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Diss

Drake got dissed today as Kendrick Lamar finally offered up his response to “Push Ups.” Overall, “Euphoria” is taking the world by storm in a big way. It is all that people want to talk about today. Every other story in the hip-hop world has been put on the backburner. Throughout the song, Kendrick takes some serious shots at Drake, and although some feel like the bars aren’t hitting, others believe this might be the greatest display of raw hate we have ever seen. Wherever you may stand on this topic, there is no doubt that things are getting interesting.

Since the release of the song, fans have been wondering whether or not Drake has heard it. Moreover, there are some who are contemplating whether or not Drizzy is going to drop the song anytime soon. Well, it seems as though Drizzy may have offered up a response. In the tweets below, you can see that Drake has been liking some Instagram posts. In one of these posts, the caption is simply, “That’s it?” Of course, this points towards Drake not being overly impressed with what K. Dot had to offer.

However, in another post from DJ Akademiks, there is a tweet from Daylyt where he puts Drake on the clock. Drizzy went on to like this as well, which hints that he could very well be looking into a response, sometime soon. For now, however, fans are just going to have to wait. It took each artist three weeks to respond, so we could be on that timeline yet again. Only time will tell if this escalates any further than it already has.

Kendrick Lamar’s Name Mix-Up In New Diss Track “Euphoria” Goes Viral

Earlier today, Kendrick Lamar added yet another captivating chapter to his beef with Drake that first began last month. Drake’s response track “Push Ups” just debuted in the top 20 of the Hot 100 earlier this week. Kendrick saw an otherwise uneventful Tuesday morning as the best time to surprise drop a response track to the song called “euphoria.” The track is more than six minutes and features almost exclusively on tearing Drake down through a variety of different disses. While there are numerous cutting bars and name drops fans have honed in on, one particular mistake has also gotten quite a bit of attention.

In one lyric from the song, Kendrick makes quite a hilarious mix up. “Am I battlin’ ghost or AI? N*gga feelin’ like Joel Osteen, Funny, he was in a film called “AI,” And my sixth sense tellin’ me to off him” a lyric from the song reads. Subsequently, attentive fans noticed right away that he says the wrong name in the track. He’s making a reference to Haley Joel Osment, who acted in the films AI and The Sixth Sense. It’s a sharply written bar referencing Drake’s use of AI to recreate Tupac and Snoop Dogg’s voice in his second Kendrick diss track. Unfortunately, Kendrick confuses Osment for controversial televangelist Joel Osteen. Fans who noticed the mistake quickly took to social media to point it out.

Elsewhere in the song, Kendrick makes no mistakes about who he’s discussing. He brings up Sexyy Red to make jokes about Drake’s sexuality. He brings up Gunna and references his snitching allegations. And he also mentions Pusha T, who Drake famously beefed with in 2018. Additionally, Kendrick even queried some from Push’s “Story Of Adidon” diss by taking shots at Drake’s fatherhood.

What do you think of Kendrick Lamar confusing Haley Joel Osment with Joel Osteen in his new diss track “euphoria?” How much do you think the mistake discounts the particular line it was included in? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kendrick Lamar Drake Diss: Gunna Responds To Being Name-Checked

Today, we got a Kendrick Lamar Drake diss. The song is called “Euphoria,” and overall, it has set the hip-hop world on fire. Overall, this is what fans were expecting from a Kendrick diss track. It had been three weeks since the release of “Push Ups,” and fans were getting a bit worried. However, Lamar came through with a track that was well worth the wait. Fans and critics are still analyzing the bars, while also picking out their favorite verses. Clearly, Kendrick still has a grip on the culture, even if he isn’t always dropping albums.

On this new track, Kendrick throws some stray bars at quite a few people. In fact, there is one moment on the song where Lamar even talks about Gunna. “We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly fade, you should keep it that way/I know some shit about n****s that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint,” Lamar raps. It is a bar that comes a bit out of left field, and fans were curious about what Kendrick really meant here. That said, it appears as though Gunna has heard the track. He even offered up his reaction to the line on Twitter.

At the end of the day, this feud is much bigger than him. Kendrick and Drake have been preparing for this moment, for ages at this stage. YNW Melly Name Drop On Kendrick Lamar’s Drake Diss Gets Fans Out Of Their Seats

Earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar dropped a bomb. After a week or so of waiting for a response to Drake’s “Push Ups” diss track, Lamar chose an otherwise innocuous Tuesday morning to go fully scorched earth. He dropped the 6-and-a-half minute song “euphoria” which is entirely focused on taking shots at nearly every single element of Drake’s life. It’s a pretty thorough diss track but some particular points on it still stand out.

Fans immediately latched onto some of the most jaw dropping moments like Kendrick bringing up Drake’s friendship with Sexyy Red to make jokes that he’s not into women. Kendrick also lit into the “Rich Baby Daddy” for his approach to fatherhood, which Pusha T also focused on in his legendary “Story Of Adidon” diss back in 2018. Yet another attention grabbing moment comes when Kendrick mentions YNW Melly. “Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish guy, the crown is heavy / I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly” one lyric from the song reads. Melly is currently on trial in the midst of a years long legal battle fighting double murder charges in Florida. Check out some fan reactions to the particularly savage bar below.

Kendrick Lamar Taunts Drake By Making Callback To Pusha T Beef On Surprise Diss Track

Kendrick Lamar is done sending warning shots like he did on his “Like That” verse. This time he is bringing out weapons of mass destruction. After leaving many wondering where he was after back-to-back responses from Drake, he has come out nowhere to tell The Boy he is done playing around. Just hours ago, Kendrick Lamar put out a new diss track “euphoria” on his YouTube page exclusively (for now hopefully). On the six-minute clap back, he addresses “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” with beat switches and ruthless shots. Across the track, Lamar calls Drake a scammer, a fake Black person, a dead-beat dad, and plenty more.

It seems K-Dot wanted to make it clear this time that the ball is now back in Drake’s court. That appears to be true, especially with bars like these. “Yeah, f*** all that pushin’ P, let me see you push a T / You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me?” Lamar raps. This is a direct reference to Drizzy’s long-standing feud with King Push. Many view as one of his biggest L’s in his career and one that he still holds to this day. The Story Of Adidon was a vicious attack on Drake’s character and life choices, which is a similar approach that Lamar took as well.

Kendrick Lamar Came For Drake’s Life On This Diss Track

Essentially what Kendrick is saying here is that he needs to address that beef first before stepping to him. He also makes a clever reference to the time that Drake featured on Gunna’s “P power” and the song “pushin P.” Drake also used that popular catchphrase on his Her Loss track “Rich Flex.” “I’m steady pushin’ p, you n****s pushing PTSD.” This is a serious response from Lamar, and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out once again as the saga continues.

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar referencing Pusha T on his new diss track “euphoria?” Was this the coldest bar on the song, why or why not? How long do you think we will have to wait before Drake responds to this? Who has the leg up in this battle right now? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding the Kendrick Lamar diss track, and Drake. Kendrick Lamar Claims Drake Sent A Cease & Desist Over “Like That” In New “Euphoria” Diss Track

It’s been more than a month since Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That” sparked the biggest rap beef of 2024. Kendrick Lamar’s verse took shots at both J. Cole and Drake and it’s been an avalanche of developments ever since. That started when Cole hit back with a diss track of his own slipped into the tracklist of a mixtape called Might Delete Later. The project lived up to its name when Cole apologized for the diss and removed it from streaming services just a few days later. That was followed by Drake’s own response “Push Ups” which just hit the top 20 of the Hot 100 earlier today.

Now Kendrick Lamar has given everyone a big reason to keep talking about the beef. That came when he dropped his new song “euphoria” earlier today. It came as a midweek surprise to fans that had begun to think he may not be responding at all. The song is over 6 minutes long and fans immediately began dissecting what it had to offer. That included roping Sexyy Red into the equation and calling out Drake’s parenting directly. But another detail grabbing people’s attention has to do with the original song that started the entire affair, “Like That.” Check out what Kendrick had to say about it below.

Kendrick Claims Drake Tried To Stop “Like That” On “Euphoria”

In the new track, Kendrick delivers a lyric about Drake filing a cease & desist order over “Like That.” Fans have interpreted that he’s talking about the “Like That” remix made by Kanye West. The remix leaked onto the internet earlier this month and featured West becoming the most recent rapper to take shots at the “Rich Baby Daddy” hitmaker. If Kendrick is to be believed, it seems like Drake may have tried to shut this remix down as soon as possible.

What do you think of Kendrick Lamar claiming Drake sent a cease & desist order over “Like That” and Kanye West’s remix of it? Do you think “euphoria” firmly won the beef for Kendrick Lamar? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kendrick Lamar Calls Drake An Absent Father On Nuclear Diss Record “Euphoria”

For three weeks now, fans have been waiting on the Kendrick Lamar Drake diss. Following “Like That,” Drake dropped off “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Overall, both of these diss tracks were pretty harsh, and fans were curious of Lamar would even respond. With people like Kanye West and Rick Ross joining the fray, it felt like Kendrick wasn’t interested in the feud anymore. In fact, some were saying that it was a power play for Lamar to not even respond, and just stay silent.

Well, today, Kendrick decided to say “screw all that.” As many of you already know, he dropped off the song “Euphoria” which is a six-minute verbal assault that has left fans reeling. Some are already declaring Lamar the winner, and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. For now, however, fans are diving into some of the lyrics. One bar, in particular, has stood out as it showcases what Kendrick thinks of the job Drake is doing as a father. In fact, Lamar believes Drake doesn’t really even raise his son at all.

Kendrick Lamar Goes Off

“Why would I try to call around and try to get dirt on you? You think my life is rap?” Kendrick said. “That’s ho shit. I got a son to raise. But I can see you don’t know nothin’ ‘bout that.” Overall, bringing kids into a beef can be a huge catalyst for either a surrender or an escalation. Either way, fans are very curious about how this is going to play out. Only time will tell whether or not Drake responds.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria”: Production Credits For The Drake Diss Revealed

Kendrick Lamar finally responded to Drake’s “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” disses with a song of his own on Tuesday afternoon. On “Euphoria,” the Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers rapper labels Drake a “scam artist,” implies he’s a bad father, and more. The lack of a full promotional period for the song has fans left wondering who produced the track. The answer to that question would be Cardo.

Lamar and Cardo have collaborated numerous times over the years, including on untitled unmastered’s “untitled 07 | levitate,” Damn’s “God,” and more. Cardo has also worked with Drake several times over the years as well such as on “God’s Plan” and “Laugh Now Cry Later.”

As for the lyrics of “Euphoria,” Lamar holds nothing back while going in on the Toronto rapper. “Fabricate stories on the family front, ’cause you heard Mr. Morale / A pathetic master manipulator, I can smell the tales on you now / You not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of bеing accepted,” he raps towards the beginning of the track. Elsewhere, Lamar brings up Drake’s previous feud with Pusha T. He raps: “I don’t like you poppin’ sh*t, that sh*t for real, I inherit the beef / Yeah, f*ck all that pushin’ P, let me see you push-a-T / You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me?” At the time, many felt Pusha won his battle with Drake following the release of his diss track, “The Story of Adidon.”
