SOURCE SPORTS: Former No. 1 MLB Draft Pick Matt Bush Arrested On DUI Charges, Fleeing The Scene Of Accident

It has been reported that 2004 Number 1 overall Draft Pick in the MLB Matt Bush was arrested in Arlington, Texas this past weekend on charges of driving while intoxicated as well as evading and causing an accident that resulted in bodily injury.

Arlington Police reported that officers initially attempted to pull over Bush after he was spotted “driving erratically” in his Lincoln Aviator on Friday evening. Police claim Bush managed to evade them by speeding away. Shortly after, Bush ran a red light at a nearby intersection, causing a multi-car accident. Even then, the 38-year-old former baseball star tried to run away from the scene on foot, but a group of Good Samaritans pinned him down until police could detain him.

After refusing to conduct a sobriety test, Bush was arrested and charged with one count of DWI, one count of accident involving injury and one count of evading.

Bush was drafted No. 1 overall by the San Diego Padres in 2004, but was plagued by numerous off-the-field issues before his professional career even began. In March 2012, while playing in the minor leagues, Bush was arrested after running over a motorcyclist’s head with his SUV and was sentenced to 51 months in prison.

When Bush finally made his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers in 2016, he appeared in a total of 217 games with the Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers, who traded for Bush in August 2022. Bush made 12 appearances for the Brewers during the 2023 season, posting a less than mediocre 9.58 ERA, ultimately being released by the team in July 2023.

YG Arrested For Misdemeanor DUI After Allegedly Parking His Car On A Curb

Authorities have arrested YG for a misdemeanor DUI offense in Burbank, California, according to TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources. Police allegedly spotted him parked up on a curb and standing outside his vehicle on Tuesday morning. In a picture from the scene of the arrest, YG sits on the curb with his arms crossed while speaking with an officer.

YG’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ that he’s still gathering more information on the situation and is focused on his client’s health for the time being. Law enforcement sources also told the outlet it’s unclear if the rapper was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He didn’t take a breathalyzer test on the scene, but did give up a blood sample.

The legal trouble comes after YG dropped his latest project, JUST RE’D UP 3, back in August. The project sees him collaborating with Babyface Ray, G Herbo, Larry June, Lil Yachty, Mozzy, Saweetie, Tee Grizzley, and Ty Dolla Sign over the course of 19 songs. He also made headlines for leading a peace walk through Compton with members of the rival gangs, Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus, that same month. “It’s a good day — it’s a good day in Bompton right now!” he said at the event. He also posed for pictures with The Game, who added: “For me, this sh*t bring tears to my eyes homie. To see this much red and sh*t. Westside Bompton, n***a, every hood. Everybody good. Ain’t no bullsh*t. Ain’t nobody feel no tension. This sh*t make a n***a happy. That’s what it do for me. I don’t know what it do for you.”

DaniLeigh’s DUI Hit-And-Run Arrest Footage Surfaces: “I’m A Singer!”

In May of last year, DaniLeigh was arrested near Miami Beach for a hit-and-run. Reportedly, she hit a 17-year-old victim who was riding a moped, leaving him with various injuries. She was charged with a DUI causing serious injury, as well as three additional charges. She pleaded no contest to two of the charges in February and was sentenced to five years probation. Her other two charges, leaving the scene of a crime and another DUI charge, will be dismissed if she completes her probation.

Now, bodycam footage of her arrest has surfaced online, revealing exactly what took place only moments after the hit-and-run. In it, she argues with an officer while being taken away in handcuffs. “I’m a singer, you can’t arrest me,” she explained. “Okay?” the officer responded, sounding unimpressed.

Obviously, this wasn’t very persuasive to the police, and she was taken to jail anyway. At another point in the footage, DaniLeigh is seen sitting on the curb as an officer reprimands her for laughing despite the seriousness of the situation. Interestingly enough, Quavo even popped up briefly at this point, though it’s unclear exactly why he was there. “Yeah that’s Quavo, the Migos,” she told one of the cops. “Those are my boys.”

Reportedly, DaniLeigh took a Breathalyzer, which proved that her blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit. Her alleged victim reportedly suffered a lacerated kidney and a fractured spine. Shortly after the incident, he filed a civil lawsuit against her. Jeremy Robinson Hit With DUI Arrest

For those who may not know, Jeremy Robinson is the on-again-off-again partner of Tamar Braxton. Overall, the two have had a bit of a tumultuous relationship over the years. From called-off engagements to reconciliations, these two have certainly gone through it all. However, fans haven’t always been fans of the relationship. Many have given their two cents, with some asking for Tamar to leave the man alone, once and for all.

Recently, Robinson found himself in the midst of a pretty massive controversy. According to The Shade Room, JR was arrested in George for allegedly Driving Under the Influence. This is a very serious allegation that can put other people in harm’s way. In the report, it states that Robinson was hit with three misdemeanors in the process. Willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer and driving under the influence of alcohol were among the charges. Having said that, Robinson was quickly released on bond after his arrest.

In the comments section over at The Shade Room, many were unimpressed with Robinson’s alleged actions. “Sir you’re a lawyer you should know better, stop driving drunk,” one person wrote. “There’s no excuse for driving while intoxicated, i don’t feel bad for him at all especially after that young football player died because of a drunk driver,” said another. Overall, this is not a good look, especially for someone who is a lawyer by trade.

Justin Timberlake’s Mugshot Released After Drunk Driving Arrest

Justin Timberlake has had a rough week. The pop icon was arrested for driving under the influence on Monday, June 17. He was pulled over by New York police after reportedly speeding through a stop sign and swerving on the road. The arresting officers told TMZ that Timberlake had red eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, despite claiming that he only had one martini that evening. The “Sexyback” star reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test, which led to him being placed in handcuffs and hauled in.

Justin Timberlake spent Monday night in a Sag Harbor jail cell. The mugshot that he took supported the concerns of the arresting officers. It also lined up with the description of the singer as having bloodshot eyes. He very much looks under the influence, despite his attempts to keep a serious expression. JT was bailed out Tuesday morning by his attorney, Ed Burke, Jr. TMZ confirmed that that the singer has a court date set for his DWI charge on July 26. Timberlake, who remains one of the best-selling artists of all time, has admitted to partying a bit too hard in the past. He talked about his vices during an interview with Observer Music Monthly in 2006. “I don’t show up drunk to functions,” he explained. “The drugs that I do have been in my own private time. I’ve never been arrested — though that’s not to say that I won’t.” The “Mirrors” singer also admitted that he tries to keep his more salacious moments out of the public eye. “I get completely plastered,” he added. “[I’ve been] caught in places with my pants down. It’s just that I make sure there are no cameras around.” Evidently, Timberlake’s lucky streak ran out.

New York Post revealed that Justin Timberlake’s arresting officer did not recognize him. He was oblivious to the fact that he’d pulled over a superstar, and a source recounted an exchange between them. “Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour,’” the source claimed. “The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour.’” The tour in question is tied to Justin Timberlake’s new album, Everything I Thought It Was. An album that’ has’s performed decently well on the charts, but has been panned by critics across the board.

GloRilla Does Field Sobriety Tests In Bodycam Footage From DUI Arrest

Earlier this week, GloRilla’s lucky streak came to a screeching halt when the femcee was arrested and booked for driving under the influence. Reportedly, the femcee was pulled over for making an illegal U-turn at a red light in Georgia. Upon approaching her, however, an officer could smell marijuana and alcohol coming from her car. Now, bodycam footage of her arrest has made its way online, showing her doing various field sobriety tests.

In the first video, GloRilla is seen chatting with an officer through her window, repeatedly telling her that she’s “cool” when asked about how many drinks she’d had that night. She then asked the officer whether or not she knew who she was, which she didn’t. At one point in the video, she told the officer she had a gun in the backseat of her car registered under her name, though it wasn’t listed in the police report.

After exiting the vehicle, GloRilla inquired about her rights as they pertained to refusing a breathalyzer test. They told her that she had the right to refuse, and the female officer pointed out that GloRilla’s breast was exposed, which she then fixed. Eventually, she agreed to some field sobriety tests, which she’s seen doing in the footage. While Glo appeared to do pretty well, officers clearly weren’t convinced, as she was taken into custody.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though GloRilla’s reaction to the arrest has fans impressed either. Earlier today, she shared a photo of herself on Twitter/X holding a bottle of Taylor Port. GloRilla Has Wardrobe Malfunction During DUI Arrest In Georgia

GloRilla likes to have fun. Her biggest hits, “Wanna Be” and “Blessed,” are about dispatching the haters and living life to the fullest. Unfortunately, the “Blessed” rapper appeared to have too much fun during a recent stop in Gwinnett Country, Georgia. TMZ reported that GloRilla was arrested on Tuesday, April 16 on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was also charged with an unrelated traffic charge and possessing an open alcoholic beverage container.

GloRilla was pulled over at 4 AM ET on Tuesday morning, according to local police. She made an illegal U-turn at a red light, and was subsequently pulled over. The officer who filled out the arrest sheet stated that the rapper’s car smelled of alcohol and marijuana, but she refused to divulge how much she’d had of either. She then insisted that she was fine to drive, which led the officer to administer a field sobriety test. GloRilla failed each part of the test, per TMZ, and refused to take a breathalyzer afterwards. It was during said refusal that the arresting officer claimed that GloRilla suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Her breast slipped out of her dress, which she was unaware of until she was explicitly told.

GloRilla was taken into custody around 6:12 AM ET, and subsequently released on bond. This is not the first time she’s run into trouble with the law. She admitted to serving jail time over an unspecified crime during an appearance on Cornbread TV. GloRilla neglected to reveal the details of the crime. She did, however, shoot down the rumor that she served three years in prison for stealing boxes of cereal from KMart. The rumor became so popular that the rapper actually mocked fans on X (formerly Twitter) for believing it.

“You hoes really sat y’all ass up there & believed I went to jail for 3 years for stealing cereal,” she tweeted in 2023. “Dats why you ho*s hearts be in y’all a*s today because y’all believe whatever a n***a tell you,” she wrote. “Dats da reason you N***as be taking care of kids dats not y’all’s till they 12 because you believe whatever a ho [sic] tell you!”

GloRilla has yet to publicly address her DUI charges.

Don Toliver Arrested For DUI: Report

Don Toliver was arrested for driving under the influence near the San Fernando Valley, on Tuesday morning, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol cited by TMZ. Officers say there were clear signs of impairment and that they gave him a citation on the scene rather than bring him to the station. Law enforcement sources for the outlet say police turned him over to another party who was present and sober. He was also fully cooperative throughout the incident. Further details are unavailable.

The arrest comes less than a month after Toliver and his partner, Kali Uchis, welcomed their first child together. In a joint post on Instagram sharing the news, the couple wrote: “You are everything we could have hoped for & more. Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. May our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.”

Despite the pregnancy, fans can still expect new music from the couple. Toliver confirmed he’s got an album in store for the summer during a recent Instagram post. “Album This Summer. It’s mine. HardStone Psycho,” he wrote.

Uchis also said she’ll be hard at work on new music during an interview with ABC News in January. “I think just being a working woman in general is hard,” she said. “There’s so much pregnancy discrimination. I don’t want to be a stereotype of like, ‘Oh, I’m just gonna stop working now.’ It’s just reminding myself like I don’t owe it to anybody.
