Tyrod Taylor Accuses Draya Michele Of Costing Him Money By Refusing To Leave LA Home

It goes without saying that Draya Michele has a lot going on these days. The model welcomed her third child with Jalen Green earlier this year, just months after they were first romantically linked. Regardless, she decided to take legal action against her ex Tyrod Taylor in June. She accused him of breach of contract and more. She alleged that he purchased an LA home in 2022, according to TMZ Sports, and allowed her and her children to live there.

Allegedly, he verbally agreed to let her buy it from him eventually and said any improvements she made to the home would go towards its final price. She proceeded to put $300K towards the home, only to have him allegedly later refuse to sell it to her. Earlier this month, The Neighborhood Talk reported that Taylor had called the police on Draya various times, trying to get her evicted from the property. Per In Touch Weekly, he filed an eviction lawsuit against her, which she alleges she had no knowledge of.

Tyrod Taylor Continues To Go After Draya Michele Over Los Angeles Home

Now, according to legal documents obtained by the outlet, Taylor is accusing Draya of staying at the property rent-free. He’s asking a judge to move forward with the eviction. He claims his company has already obtained a writ of possession, and alleges that every day Draya remains there is costing the company money.

“Since approximately June 2024, I have been carrying the payment of the mortgage and upkeep expenses on the subject property. The approximate monthly amount associated with these expenses is $19,843.00,” the filing alleges. “Every day that Draya remains in possession is another day that my company is deprived of possession, must continue to incur expenses, and is unable to list and sell the property.” At the time of writing, the judge has yet to rule on Taylor’s request.

New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor reportedly tried to get police to evict his ex girlfriend, Draya Michele, from the Los Angeles home he bought for them. Moreover, there are a lot of conflicting claims here, primarily the idea that they had an arrangement in which Michele would rent out and eventually purchase the property. But it seems like once she started dating Houston Rockets hooper Jalen Green, Taylor changed his mind and allegedly filed an eviction lawsuit against her. However, Michele claims that he never properly served her, so she suffered a default judgement. As you can probably tell, it’s all pretty complicated right now. Moreover, the two addressed this situation on their sports talk show It Is What It Is, roping in the highly publicized relationship between Draya Michele and Jalen Green. Draya Michele’s Ex Boyfriend Tries To Evict Her From Their L.A. Home

Draya Michele and her ex boyfriend, Tyron Taylor, did not end on good terms. The model ended her relationship with the former NFL star recently. There was an attempt to work out a civil living situation, in which Michele would rent out the L.A. property that Taylor bought for the both of them. Taylor, however, is not thrilled with this arrangement. The Neighborhood Talk reports that the former NFL star has tried to call the police a dozen times on Draya Michele. His intention? To get her evicted from the property.

The plan, per In Touch Weekly, was for Draya Michele to rent and eventually purchase the L.A. property from Tyron Taylor. Things quickly took a turn for the worse, however, when Michele started a relationship with Jalen Green. Shortly after Michele and Green’s relationship went public, Taylor apparently changed his mind. He allegedly filed an eviction lawsuit against Michele, without telling her. Draya Michele entered a default judgement as a result, claiming that she was never properly served. Taylor’s rebuttal is that he sent the eviction notice via mail, and is therefore not responsible for her lack of awareness.

Draya Michele’s stay has not been a comfortable one, as a result. The model claimed that she got a call from a nanny while away on business in November. She stated, via court documents, that sheriffs were called to the property and telling the nanny, as well as her children, that they had to leave. “The sheriffs were at the subject property to lock the occupants out of the subject property,” Michele added. Michele contacted her lawyers, who sprung into action and prevented the lockout. The model claims that it was only after this encounter that she learned of Taylor’s eviction notice.

Draya Michele claimed she originally tried to purchase the property for $2.8 million. Taylor countered, allegedly, with $3.2 million, which the model accepted. Michele stated that she has paid $19,000 per month in rent, in addition to spending $270,000 on home renovations. She accused her ex of failing to uphold his end of the deal. Taylor, on the other hand, has denied any wrongdoing. His lawyers reported that Michele has only been able to produce an “unsigned lease, an unsigned purchase agreement, and emails evidencing at most negotiations.” There’s clearly more to come in this property saga.

According to Govan, Arenas allegedly told her he received oral sex from a Philly woman in a car following a brief split. Later, when Draya first appeared on Basketball Wives, Govan claims she befriended her. Ultimately, however, Govan learned that Draya was allegedly the woman Arenas hooked up with.

“When I found out, it was because I was going through some papers at the house, and I saw that he had given her $25,000 and brought her to LA,” Govan explained. “I remember finding the paper, I remember calling my friend and telling her to pick up the kids for me… And I remember going to where she was filming in Hollywood… I remember showing up and I was not supposed to be filming, and I walked past everybody, and I beat the f**k out of her.”

Draya Michele Clears Things Up

Now, Draya has taken to her Instagram Story to defend herself. In a series of posts, she insists that Govan’s timeline isn’t accurate. “I didn’t mess with anyone’s husband,” she wrote in part. “Let’s be clear that no one was married. Let’s also be clear that the interactions I Had with him were years before I was on the show. I did not know her then. And I also did not know her when I agreed to be on the show or her sister. I didn’t even know either of them were going to be on the show so to say the word friend is a huge stretch.”

As of late, Draya Michele appears to have been occupied with her new boyfriend Jalen Green, as well as their newborn daughter. Evidently, however, that hasn’t stopped her from taking her ex Tyrod Taylor to court. Reportedly, she recently filed a lawsuit against him in which she accuses him of failing to hold up his end of a deal they allegedly made on a house together.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ Sports, he purchased an LA home in August of 2022 and allowed Draya and her children to live there. Allegedly, he verbally agreed to let Draya buy it from him eventually, and that any improvements she made to the home would go towards its final price. She went on to make an offer of $2.8M, and when he countered with $3.2M, she accepted. Draya then claims to have put $300K into work on the home, while under the assumption that it would go toward what she agreed to pay.
