Joe Budden Accuses Drake Of Spreading Kendrick Lamar AI Tracks

Like most hip-hop fans right now, Joe Budden has a lot of questions about the explosive beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar right now. Moreover, a big point of contention for fans is where these Kendrick A.I. leaks are coming from, which some believe are real diss tracks. However, close listens show that something’s up, and one TikTok producer in particular came forward to explain how he made that “diss” using artificial intelligence technology to replicate K.Dot’s voice. Furthermore, the Slaughterhouse MC thinks that the Toronto superstar is actually behind these leaks and A.I. verses, as he’s been accused before of using online bots and other methods to troll and harass his enemies on social media.

“To address some of that stuff we talked about earlier with all of this A.I. stuff,” Joe Budden began. “Don’t kill me, I’m just a messenger here. I have it on good information that that’s just Drake. Drake is responsible for the Kendrick leaks, A.I. leaks, Drake and the bots.” “That makes sense,” his co-host added. “He plays the bot game, he plays the Internet game. There’s been issues with other rappers where they got thousands of bots. There was a time where, if you said Pusha T’s name, your mentions would get flooded with bots that have nothing… ‘Pusha T is really half-lizard.’”

Joe Budden’s Theory On Drake Being Behind Kendrick Lamar AI Diss Tracks: Listen

“Pusha T has accused Drake of this, salamander or some s**t,” Joe Budden continued. “Meg has accused Drake of this. People have accused Nicki of this, I think, in the past. You can’t even accuse somebody of these things if you don’t know that game. Right? So these are people that understand that game.

“This would explain Drake every day posting, ‘Come out. Is it today? Is today the day? When are we gonna hear this?‘” he concluded. “Sounds like he’s just trying to take some of the luster off of whatever is coming. And he’s playing Internet games and A.I. games to do it. Apple’s son.” For more news and the latest updates on Joe Budden, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar, come back to HNHH.

Drake Taunts Kendrick Lamar Camp: “They Have Nothing To Drop”

Drake has been doing lots of typing since he dropped “Push Ups.” The rapper has trolled several of his enemies on Instagram, but the one he’s been most adamant about targeting is Kendrick Lamar. K. Dot’s lack of social media engagement had led Drake to target those close to the rapper. This include Lamar’s manager, Anthony Saleh, and Lamar affiliate DJHed. Drake taunted the latter after an IG post made note of the fact that Lamar hasn’t responded to the “Push Ups” diss. Not yet, at least.

The whole thing started as a string of tweets from DJHed. The music industry veteran criticized Drake for not putting “Push Ups” on streaming services. “The Canadian ‘responded’ after over a decade of being dared to come outside,” he wrote. “Still has yet to claim said ‘response.’ He’s now taunting Ant in an attempt to garner a reaction.” Ant, in this case, is the aforementioned Anthony Saleh. DJHed ended his tweet by insulting the quality of Drake’s music. “If you enjoy microwaved meal that’s on you,” he asserted. “We prefer cooked food on this side.”

Drake Suggests K. Dot Doesn’t Have A Diss Ready

DJ Akademiks posted the tweet on his Instagram, which led Drake to respond. The rapper dismissed DJHed’s claims and clowned Lamar for not having a response ready. “Use me as a ‘they have nothing to drop’ button,” he wrote in the comments section. It hasn’t been long since Drake released “Push Ups,” but the constant trolling, coupled with controversy surrounding Lamar’s fake AI diss, has made it seem longer. DJHed kept it moving by pointing out Drake’s reluctance to drop “Push Ups” on streaming. “‘B2B’ is up, ‘Duppy’ is up,” he wrote back. “Your ‘Push Ups’ song is not…”

DJHed’s reply is only partially correct. “Back to Back,” Drake’s 2015 diss against Meek Mill, is indeed on streaming. So is the Meek diss that preceded it, “Charged Up.” DJHed is incorrect in stating that “Duppy Freestyle,” however, Drake’s 2018 diss against Pusha T, is streaming. The song is not available on Apple Music or Spotify, so there’s a precedent for Drizzy keeping his disses “unofficial.” DJHed reposted the exchange on his IG with one final dig. He told Drake not to wait until the numbers come out before he “claims” his diss track, implying the rapper is only concerned about chart performance.

Regardless of who’s right, the next move from Lamar’s camp is going to be crucial.

Drake Posts Photo Of Kendrick Lamar’s Manager With OVO Merch

The trolling continues. Drake impressed the hip-hop world with his diss “Push Ups,” and has kept the momentum going by clowning his enemies on Instagram. He posted a Drumline meme to mock Metro Boomin, a screenshot to make fun of Rick Ross, and now he’s turned his attention back to his main foe: Kendrick Lamar. Drake posted a photo of Lamar’s current manager, Anthony Saleh, in an unflattering situation. It’s never good to be seen rocking the merch of a rival, and yet, that’s exactly what Saleh did. The photo sees the manager carrying a bag emblazoned with Drake’s OVO logo.

Drake rubbed salt in the wound by adding a caption. “We getting in our bag or nah?,” he mockingly asked Saleh. The caption is a double entendre, referencing both the metaphorical bag that Lamar needs to be in to respond to “Push Ups,” and the literal OVO back that K. Dot’s manager is carrying. It’s worth noting that the year the photo was taken is unclear, and likely predates Saleh’s union with Lamar. Saleh became Lamar’s manager in 2021, shortly before the rapper launched his company pgLang.

Saleh may not have the fame of other hip-hop managers, but he executive produced Nas’ self-titled album in 2008. He also negotiated multi-million dollar endorsement deals for the Queens rapper.

Drake Keeps Pushing Kendrick Lamar For A Response

Drake has repeatedly made Anthony Saleh a target on social media. On April 16, the rapper posted a photo of Saleh on his IG Story with turtle emojis. “Wonder if today is the day,” he wrote, referencing his impatience for a Kendrick Lamar response track. Drake’s fixation on Lamar’s management extends to the aforementioned “Push Ups,” where he clowned Lamar for signing a bad deal. Drake claims the Compton emcee split half of his earnings with Top Dawg Entertainment, which inspired the “drop and give me 50” line in the song’s chorus.

A snippet of an alleged Kendrick Lamar diss leaked on April 15. Fans debated whether or not the leak was real, but TikTok producer Sy The Rapper eventually claimed credit for making the song. Lamar hasn’t yet responded to “Push Ups” in an official capacity. Until he does, he can expect Drake to continue to pester him and Saleh on Instagram.

Drake Trolls Kendrick Lamar With Picture Of His Manager, Ponders When Diss Track Will Arrive

Drake is easily one of the biggest trolls when it comes to the hip-hop world. Overall, he came up in an era where internet trolling became the norm. Consequently, he knows how to maneuver spaces such as Instagram. Furthermore, whenever he gets into a feud, you can be sure that he is going to find clever ways to get under people’s skin. It is the price of doing business whenever you come after someone like Drizzy. As it turns out, Kendrick Lamar is beginning to find this out the hard way amid his beef with the megastar.

Over the weekend, Drake dropped his response to “Like That” in the form of a leaked track called “Push Ups.” Overall, the song was a success, with fans praising the bars throughout the joint. Now, the ball is in Kendrick’s court, and there is no diss in sight. A song actually leaked online, although it was eventually called AI. Drizzy and OVO have been refuting this fact, claiming that Lamar is just upset that the song didn’t get the reception he hoped for. This morning, the Canadian is continuing his social media assault on Lamar, this time with an Instagram story containing a photo of the rapper’s manager, Anthony Saleh.

Drake Won’t Stop

As you can see, Drake added some text to the image, saying “wonder is today the day” with some turtle emojis on either side. Clearly, he is trying to say that Lamar is taking too long with his response. This is a bit ironic, considering Drizzy took three weeks to respond to “Like That,” while Kendrick has only been given a couple of days in the aftermath of “Push Ups.” There is no telling if Lamar will respond, but there is no doubt that the pressure is on and the clock is ticking.

Let us know what you think of the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, in the comments section down below. Do you feel as though Drake is doing too much right now? Will Kendrick respond today or is he chilling? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Lupe Fiasco Claims Drake Is A Better Rapper Than Kendrick Lamar

Lupe Fiasco has never been afraid to share his opinion. The Chicago emcee has plenty of hot takes, and he delivers them the same passion as the rhymes on his albums. His latest take, however, may baffle the same genre purists who hold him to such a high standard. During a recent chat with Ae Verb, the “Paris, Tokyo” writer declared that Drake was a better rapper than his Big Three nemesis, Kendrick Lamar. He also claimed that Lamar is not as “dangerous” as his reputation suggests.

The clip currently circulating online starts with Ae Verb asking whether Lupe Fiasco preferred Drake or Kendrick Lamar. Lupe did not hesitate in naming the 6 God, and his reasoning was simple: he has bars. “You know I ain’t capping when I say that,” he added. “I would give it to Drake. I think Kendrick’s a better technically skilled performer but I don’t think he’s a better rapper.” The conversation shifted to Lamar, at which point Lupe asserted that the Compton superstar was slightly overrated when it came to his battle credentials. “So you ain’t never heard Kendrick and felt like he was one of the most dangerous rapper?”, Ae Verb asked. Lupe’s response was swift: “No.”

Lupe Fiasco Beefed With Kendrick Lamar In 2018

Lupe Fiasco has had quite a bit to say about Kendrick Lamar as of late. When their 2018 feud resurfaced in the wake of the Drake and K. Dot disses, Lupe made it very clear that he did not bend the knee to the younger artist. “I wasn’t apologizing to him lol,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I was sorry about the entire shindig because it was such a waste of time and energy… Keep my name clean. I fear no rapper of any kind or on anytime… K Dot solid but y’all need to chill.”

Lupe kept the aggression intact for his recent Coachella appearance. In the middle of his set, he called out every other rapper in the game and vowed to “smoke” them if they wanted beef. “I don’t give a f**k how many records you sold,” he promised the crowd. “If you want smoke, I swear on my muthaf**kin soul I will walk through n***as. I will chew n***as up. I will body muthaf**kas.”

Lupe Fiasco Is Hungry For Rap Beef Amidst Big Three Battle

Lupe Fiasco is still going strong. The Chicago emcee may be a twenty-year veteran in the rap game, but his skills are sharp as ever. He’s also experiencing a resurgence in popularity, as evidenced by his recent performance at Coachella. Lupe ran through his classic hits, and then paused his set at one point to make a bold announcement. Drake and Kendrick Lamar may be the top of the food chain in terms of relevance, but Lupe asserted that he would demolish any current rapper in a battle.

It gets better. Lupe Fiasco not only promised to demolish any rapper who stepped to him, but made it clear that he wants it to happen. He’s ready for the smoke. “I don’t give a f**k how many records you sold,” he told the Coachella audience. “If you want smoke, I swear on my muthaf**kin soul, I will walk through n***as. I will chew up n***as, I will body muthaf**kas. Lupe then ups the ante by calling out artists like Tyler, The Creator and Bad Bunny. “I don’t care,” he added. “I do this s**t for real.”

Lupe Fiasco Promises To “Chew Up” Any Rapper

It’s not a stretch to connect Lupe’s comments with the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef. Lupe has had heated exchanges with Lamar in the past, and he even tweeted about the Compton rapper on April 8. The competitive streak carried over to X (formerly Twitter), where Lupe quote tweeted his Coachella performance and doubled down on his promise to destroy any and all rappers.

“Had to add my little comment to the current narrative” Lupe wrote. “Folks been sideways on socials and in the media at me all week like I won’t casually rap these boys and girls into the shadow realm. Either spawn in and smoke it up or let me finish watching these cybertruck reviews.”

The cybertruck line is a reference to Lupe Fiasco’s latest single, “LLC.” The Chicago rapper absolutely skates on the track, taking others to task for being being false prophets and mocking those who take his skills for granted. “Hawaiian lectures in Madagascar raps,” he spits. “Should I get the Cybertruck or bring a gas car back?” Only time will tell if there’s a rapper brave enough to give Lupe the beef he wants.

Drake Disses Metro Boomin (Again) With “Drumline” Meme

Drake is ready for war. The 6 God spent weeks taking disses from the likes of Future and Metro Boomin, but he silenced the critics when he dropped “Push Ups” on April 13. He took on Future first, but he saved his most disrespectful bars for the aforementioned producer. “Metro, shut your h*-a*s up and make some drums, n***a,” he exclaimed before the chorus. The bluntness of the line, coupled with Drake’s aggressive delivery, made it one of the song’s high points. Fans were quick to agree that Metro doesn’t really have a leg to stand on lyrically, despite the fact that he used to rap.

Drake is seemingly aware of the impact his “drums bar had, and has decided to double down. The Toronto rapper took to Instagram on April 15 to upload a clip of the 2002 film Drumline starring Nick Cannon. Drumline in a teen drama set amidst the world of competitive band drumline, which perfectly aligns with Drake’s dismissive line about Metro. The rapper didn’t even bother tagging anyone in the post. He knew followers would understand who the clip was making fun of, and he was right.

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

Drake’s Drumline meme was reposted by the likes of DJ Akademiks and The Shade Room. Akademiks added gas to the fire by including the caption: “Drake posts how metroboomin finna respond to his diss song.” Metro hasn’t responded to the post, nor has he commented on the diss record from which the “drums” line originated. The only social media post the producer made in relation to Drake, and the battle of the so-called Big Three, was April 13.

Metro tweeted a photo of himself next to Future and The Weeknd with the caption “The Biggest Three.” The implication, of course, being that the trio who are firmly against Drake are actually more popular than him. Metro has been busy as of late, dropping a mixtape and two collab albums with Future over the last month. He even tweeted about how excited he was to get some rest. Given the current state of things between him and Drake, however, the Atlanta producer will likely stay busy.

Drake’s Response Ties The Score: What Comes Next In The 20 Vs. 1?

The numbers game could only work among a certain crowd of rappers, specifically those who rely on popularity to disguise their wealth or lack thereof. However, when it comes to the core of rap’s competitive side, the underdog never has as much to lose in the first place. But there’s an equal battleground between Drake and Kendrick Lamar who’ve both achieved great commercial success while asserting their dominance in the field for a decade-plus. Sure, for Drake, it’s more of an anomaly when he decides to really rap his ass off but as Complex’s Jordan Rose once pointed out, the Canadian star needs formidable opponents for his bars to stick. Fortunately, the tentatively titled “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50)” sounds exactly like the “old Drake” we’ve longed for.

What first began surfacing as a speculative “AI response” was later confirmed to be a reference track by Akademiks. It was muddied, and distorted and the production sounded flat. But its rawness added a sense of urgency and nostalgia for those who recall digging for music in the prehistoric days before streaming services and social media’s accessibility. The supposed official version landed on Akademiks’ desk before circulating through the DJ circuit on Saturday. Fans unpacked the lyrics – some more nuanced than others – before deliberating the winner of round one.

In terms of the main card event between Drake and Kendrick, “Push Ups” tied things up. “Like That” undoubtedly packed enough punch to ripple across the airwaves for weeks and affirm its position at #1 for a third week in a row now. The fact that a diss track toward Drake debuted at the top spot must have struck a nerve with Billboard’s Artist of the Decade recipient. It proved that he couldn’t just craft a hit song to win this beef nor would the court of public opinion simply lean in his favor with the help of some memeworthy responses. The stakes were high and the Boy needed to roll up his sleeves. Unlike J. Cole’s “7 Minute Drill,” Drake knew that he couldn’t just deliver a one-size-fits-all diss track to put his detractors on notice. If calling Kendrick short began weighing on J. Cole’s soul so heavily, imagine how the escalation of this feud would’ve made him feel in the long run. That said, “Push Ups” was a measured response to feed into a beef of this magnitude.

So, years after “The Story Of Adidon” cemented itself in the pantheon of hip-hop diss records, it became clear that it would take much more than lyrical warfare to take Drake down. Unfortunately, when ranking Drake’s current list of opponents, only a few of them have the potential to cause damage. Kendrick, of course, became target numero uno on “Push Ups,” though Drake admittedly kept his response PG. He pointed out their comparative feature streaks; Kendrick having worked alongside Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift at the early stages of his career in an attempt for more commercial success that, in some sense, slightly dilutes an otherwise flawless catalog. The short jokes, though expected, were hilarious. The possible mention of Kendrick’s wife (“I be with some bodyguards like Whitney”) might warrant a response akin to Pusha’s (the Clipse rapper stated that this was what triggered his infamous response to “Duppy Freestyle) but perhaps the most shocking aspect of the feud surrounded Kendrick and Top Dawg’s relationship and the allusion to publishing splits. Many have speculated that there had been a strain between TDE’s flagship artist and its founder over the years, causing Kendrick and Dave Free to launch pgLang, but for Drake to suggest that it may have been a result of bad business sheds an interesting light on the overarching narrative surrounding the California-based label, in which some have believed they’ve been holding back their artists from releasing music. The fact that SZA even got a shout-out on the record might indicate something is brewing behind the scenes at TDE that we might only find out about down the line. Still, these aspects of “Push Ups,” paired with “They make excuses for you ’cause they hate to see me lit,” feel mildly contradictory, considering that similar claims could be leveled against him in both the speculations surrounding his contractual obligations to Cash Money and the fact that his rabid fanbase has been jumping through hoops and moving the goal post over the past few weeks to defend his spot.

But beyond the speculation of Drake’s claims towards his main target, “Push Ups” sufficiently mentioned every one of his foes who have aligned themselves with Future and Metro Boomin, safe for ASAP Rocky. Though the former faces Drake’s wrath within the first bars of the song, it’s Metro Boomin who will now be the victim of Drizzy’s infectious songwriting. As the producer urged everyone to “pick a side” in the past few months, Drake shuts him down immediately with one bar: “Metro, shut yo hoe ass up and make some drums.” It’s unclear why a producer who has never released a song as a rapper decided to pick up a rap feud but Drake’s energy toward Metro was on par with the petty Twitter/X jabs.

While the issues with Rick Ross ultimately surround French Montana (though it might be a little bit more deep-rooted, considering Tia Kemp previously detailed animosity between Ross and Drake), it’s the tension between Drake and The Weeknd’s XO camp that could be the centerpiece of this feud. The Weeknd’s co-managers, Salxco founder Wassim Slaiby and XO co-founder Amir “Cash” Esmailian, have reportedly been at odds with Drake since the After Hours singer turned down a deal with OVO. However, Drake’s shot at his fellow Torontonian paints a broader picture of the feud that potentially traces back to Slaiby and Esmailian.

Claim the 6ix, and you boys ain’t even come from it/ And when you boys got rich, you had to run from it,” Drake raps before he accuses Cash of “spendin’ Abel’s bread, out here trickin’” on rappers such as Future. If you didn’t know, Slaiby and Esmailian got their start in Ottawa, ON where they established CP – the label that initially propelled the careers of Belly and Massari. The two later relocated to Toronto where they met The Weeknd and built an empire rooted in the local scene. Unlike OVO, which has spent the better part of the 2010s developing Toronto talent, Salxco has garnered a wide roster of artists outside of Canada including Metro Boomin. Meanwhile, Cash’s alliance with Future became more noticeable in recent years. After Drake’s song dropped, Cash shared a photo of himself with Future on Instagram in what seemed to be a reaction. It appears that The Weeknd and Metro Boomin inherited a feud that has little to do with them in the grand scheme of things. They might have personal vendettas against Drake but it’s the ones that Metro and The Weeknd answer to in the metaphorical food chain who seemingly share some responsibility in the fallout.

In the immediate aftermath of the song’s leak, the showdown that we’re all waiting on is Drake vs. Kendrick. As of now, the ball is in Kendrick’s court. While Metro Boomin and Future will likely continue to leverage this feud to push the sales behind their second studio album, We Still Don’t Trust You, the two rappers, along with The Weeknd, do not have the credentials to engage in a rap beef. As for Rick Ross, his feud with Drake will likely be forgotten by the end of the week. “Champagne Moments” largely relied on salacious rumors to rattle the Internet. The online taunts, though entertaining, won’t be enough to keep up the momentum, especially as the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar heats up. Everyone else inserting themselves into this situation will fade into background noise.

Ultimately, “Push Ups” is an adequate response for the moment but surely, it doesn’t have enough “bark with the bite,” as Drake stated, to make Kendrick Lamar stand down in any capacity. Though a snippet of a rumored response track to “Push Ups” surfaced this morning, which Daylyt (along with other sources) stated was AI, the brief preview sounded underwhelming compared to the bomb Drake dropped on “Push Ups.” Sure, the snippet addressed the J Cole situation as suitably as Drake did. However, Drizzy isn’t J. Cole – he’s a whole other beast in this particular realm. After all, Drake told everyone they needed to cut his head off if they wanted the crown.

DJ Akademiks Offers Fair Warning To Drake Amid Kendrick Lamar Beef

Out of the many shots that Drake had for Kendrick Lamar on his leaked “Push Ups” diss track, one in particular instilled fear in the hearts of even the most hardcore OVO fans. “I be with some bodyguards like Whitney,” he rapped on the cut, referencing his security detail and Whitney Houston’s role in the film The Bodyguard. However, the real notable aspect of this bar is that K.Dot’s partner’s name is Whitney Alford, and the common interpretation is that The Boy is claiming that she cheated on him with his bodyguards. As DJ Akademiks recently explained on his livestream, this is a very dangerous game for him to play again considering how this worked out for him the first time.

“Drake… you did the same thing twice now,” DJ Akademiks pointed out. “You mentioned Virginia Williams or whatever, Pusha T’s wife. And you saw that n***a took the gloves off, and we saw what happened. You mentioned Whitney, and Kendrick Lamar’s wife’s name is Whitney. You have to be prepared for anything! There is no, ‘Oh, nah, I can’t believe you said that.’ No! ‘Cause you’re talking crazy already, too. This is a knock-them-out slugfest, this is no holds barred, this is, ‘I don’t care what that n***a says!’ He could expose…”

DJ Akademiks’ Warning To Drake Over Mentioning Kendrick Lamar’s Wife

Furthermore, this is a hot topic of debate for rap fans now, especially those who remember the savagery of Pusha T’s “The Story Of Adidon.” Still, DJ Akademiks still thinks that Drake has the leg-up right now, and that Kendrick Lamar is “on the clock” to respond quickly with a retort. Many continue to debate over whether either MC can really beat the other, considering the wildly different lanes they occupy. Also, it seems like no matter what happens in this beef, neither fanbase will ever be able to reconcile with the other.

Meanwhile, who do you think will “win” this showdown? Does the Whitney bar pose a grave threat to the 6ix God now or is the Compton lyricist the more affected target? Drake Gets Support From Uma Thurman Amid Beef With Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Future, & More

Drake is currently taking on the entire rap world. Overall, it started with the song “Like That” where Kendrick Lamar proclaimed the big three did not exist. There were some shots at Drizzy, and the megastar took exception to that. In a leaked track called “Push Ups,” the Canadian came through with some especially scathing bars. However, it was not the knockout blow that some fans felt he needed to come through with. As it stands, the only person to reply has been Rick Ross, who came through with a diss track called “Champagne Moments.”

In the midst of these feuds, Drake took to his social media page, where he likened himself to Uma Thurman’s iconic character from Kill Bill. Well, it seems like Thurman is keeping tabs on these things. In the Instagram post below, you can see that Thurman reached out to Drake on IG, with a picture of her old outfit from the movie. “Need this?” she wrote. Clearly, it seems like Thurman has Drake’s back in all of this. How she heard about all of this, remains a mystery. Although it is still a cross over that fans will enjoy.

The artist has few friends left in the industry, and his back is against the wall. Now, it will be up to some of the other artists involved to respond. All eyes are presently on Kendrick Lamar, who supposedly has been waiting four years to release a vaulted track. Only time will tell if that even exists.
