Kim Kardashian Says That She “Hated” 2018 White House Visit

Kim Kardashian says that she “hated” the way she felt while visiting the White House in 2018. Kardashian reflected on the trip during her recent appearance on the Angie Martinez IRL Podcast.

“I hated how I felt when I went into the White House for the first time and I didn’t know half of anything that they were saying – like all of the clemency talk, and all the attorney lingo and everything that they were talking about,” she said. “I literally was sitting there, like texting my attorney that was next to me.”

Kardashian went to the White House to meet with then-President Donald Trump on behalf of Alice Marie Johnson. Trump later commuted Johnson’s sentence. She had been handed a life sentence in 1996 over nonviolent drug charges.

“I was to the point where I didn’t even know like all of the abbreviations in the White House, so they were like okay this person at the DOJ, and I was like ‘What is the DOJ?’” she continued, before adding, “And my attorney was like, come on Department of Justice and she kept texting me all this stuff but I was never too embarrassed to ask.”

Kardashian added: “I think that sometimes like you go into something and you like I should know all this stuff.”

The White House eventually invited Kardashian back to further discuss clemency.

Kardashian recently studied to receive a law degree. She says that her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, would be proud of her efforts.

Stephen A. Smith Calls Republican Party “Embarrassing”

Stephen A. Smith is someone who does not mince words. If he has something to say, he will vocalize it, for better or worse. This is especially true when it comes to the political sphere. For instance, Smith even has a new show called “Know Mercy” where he delves into politics.

Overall, his political views are very much down the center. Sometimes, he sides with Democrats and other times with Republicans. In that sense, he is very much a classical liberal. Whether or not you believe that is a bad thing, is very much up to you, the reader.

Stephen A. Fires Shots At Republicans

Recently, however, Smith took some heavy shots at the Republicans. This is all because of the recent reports surrounding Trump’s reelection campaign. Smith feels it is disturbing that the party can’t find a different candidate. Overall, it is hard to disagree with what Stephen A. is saying here, even if you love Trump.

“You’re trying to tell me that Biden is going to be 82 years old in 2024, in all likelihood running for reelection, and y’all can’t find someone other than Trump,” Smith asked. “You have any idea how embarrassing that is? It’s embarrassing.”

Making comments like this will always be polarizing, especially in today’s climate. However, Smith is sticking to his convictions, and he does not care whom he offends with what he has to say. Whether it be sports, politics, or whatever else, you know that Stephen A. is going to come with the fire regardless of the topic.

As always, you can let us know what you think of Smith’s latest rant, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Donald Trump’s Facebook Reinstatement Faces Pressure From Democrats

Democrats are reportedly increasing pressure on Meta to keep Donald Trump off of Facebook. The news comes as the company is deciding whether to reinstate the former President’s account.

Facebook originally suspended Trump’s account after the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the Capitol. The platform could welcome him back as early as next month.

Democratic lawmakers fear Trump’s return to the platform would threaten public safety by the spread of misinformation.

Kayla Gogarty, deputy research director of Media Matters for America, says that his presence would increase “extremism” and “problematic content.”

“On Facebook, he has a very large reach,” Gogarty told Insider. “Based on his current patterns, we’re seeing him amplify extremism, problematic content that has been linked to real world violence.”

Gogarty continued: “So if Meta allows him back on, it’s essentially giving Trump a green light to push election misinformation again, dangerous rhetoric and extremism to millions of users who would not otherwise have access to it.”

While he’s been inactive on Facebook, Trump has migrated his presence to Truth Social. As for whether his behavior online has changed, Media Matters reports that nearly half of Trump’s posts and reposts in the week following the 2022 midterm elections pushed election fraud conspiracies.

“His activity on Truth Social speaks to his potential activity if he’s allowed back on some of these more mainstream platforms, like Facebook,” Gogarty further said.

Trump’s potential Facebook reinstatement comes after Elon Musk allowed him back on Twitter. In doing so, Musk conducted a poll among users on the platform. Despite this, Trump has opted to stay on Truth Social.

Jan. 6 Committee Votes To Accuse Donald Trump Of 4 Crimes

The Jan. 6 select committee has formally voted to accuse Donald Trump of four crimes. The committee argued that the former President provided “aid and comfort” to the mob attacking the Capitol in 2021.

They also stated that Trump could be charged with obstructing Congress’ Jan. 6 joint session, conspiracy to make false statements to the National Archives, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

“Faith in our system is the foundation of American democracy. If the faith is broken, so is our democracy,” select panel chair Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) said. “Donald Trump broke that faith. He lost the 2020 election and knew it, but he chose to try to stay in office through a multi-part scheme. This can never happen again.”

The final meeting went down on the two-year anniversary of Trump’s Dec. 19, 2020 tweet, in which he called for a “wild” protest against the election results. The committee says the post was a key inflection point for the ensuing riot. Later Trump urged his supporters to “fight like hell” to convince lawmakers to vote against certifying Joe Biden’s victory.

Despite the committee’s decision, they have no power to prosecute Trump, as that will come down to the Department of Justice.

“I’m convinced that now that our committee has released our information, they will take the information that we’ve shared with them and proceed with the investigation,” Thompson also said of the DOJ’s decision.

Trump Calls Brittney Griner Release “Unpatriotic” & “Stupid”

As people celebrate Brittney Griner returning home, Donald Trump isn’t a happy camper. The former president previously made his lack of support for Griner’s case clear, but now that she’s been released from a Russian prison, he is issuing new statements. Griner was arrested earlier this year after being found with a small amount of cannabis oil while traveling through a Russian airport. The case gained international attention as Griner went to trial. When she was sentenced to nine years in prison, her supporters championed causes centering on her release.

“What kind of a deal is it to swap Brittney Griner, a basketball player who openly hates our Country, for the man known as ‘The Merchant of Death,’ who is one of the biggest arms dealers anywhere in the World, and responsible for tens of thousands of deaths and horrific injuries,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He also stated: “Why wasn’t former Marine Paul Whelan included in this totally one-sided transaction? He would have been let out for the asking. What a ‘stupid’ and unpatriotic embarrassment for the USA!!!”

The former president’s MAGA supporters have also co-signed his take on social media. Meanwhile, his opposers have brought up his controversial moments in politics pertaining to the release of prisoners under his tenure.

Additionally, Griner’s wife, Cherelle, spoke out when news of the WNBA star’s release was shared.

“Over the last nine months, you all have been so privy to one of the darkest moments of my life,” said Cherelle. “And so today I am just standing here overwhelmed with emotions, but the most important emotion that I have right now is just sincere gratitude for President Biden and his entire administration. He just mentioned this work is not easy and it has not been.”

Cruz has two daughters, ages 14 and 11, with his wife Heidi Cruz.

“There were no serious injuries,” the rep continued. “The family requests the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.”

NY Attorney General Announces $250M Civil Lawsuit Against Donald Trump

Trump Lawsuit

The New York Attorney General announced a civil lawsuit against former President Trump. Including, the Trump Organization and three of his adult children for alleged widespread fraud involving false financial statements related to his company and inflating his net worth.

NY AG Letitia James says this is the result of a three-year investigation, alleging Trump and his family falsified business records, stretched asset valuations, and committed bank and insurance fraud.

“Mr. Trump’s Statements of Financial Condition for the period 2011 through 2021 were fraudulent and misleading in both their composition and presentation,” according to filed documents.

“Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars.” James said at a news conference. “Mar-a-Lago generated less than $25 million in annual revenue. It should have been valued at about $75 million, but it was valued at $739 million.”

Speaking to reporters, James said “Nobody is above the law.”  She added what Trump allegedly did wasn’t a mistake made in good faith.

The AG explained that even if Trump moves to Florida, he’ll still have to answer the allegations made against him by New York authorities.

The lawsuit seeks a $250 million judgment that would also ban any member of the Trump family from leading a business in New York State.

During a deposition last month, the former President pleaded the Fifth Amendment.

Trump’s lawyers say the lawsuit is merely a way for James to advance her political agenda.  They also accuse her of an “abuse of authority,” “racism,” and add they’re looking forward to defending Trump.

Jamie Foxx’s Donald Trump Impersonation Is Worth Every Second Of Your Time

We’ve all seen our fair share of Donald Trump impressions, but Jamie Foxx might’ve just taken the cake. Foxx appeared on the Rap Radar Podcast with Snoop Dogg to promote their new action-comedy vampire movie, Day Shift, which is out now on Netflix. And in the midst of it all, Jamie Foxx might’ve just given Saturday Night Live’s James Austin Johnson’s Donald Trump impression a run for it’s money.

“I love Snoop D-O Double-G. Great person,” Foxx said in his Trump voice. Then host Brian ‘B. Dot’ Miller asked him if he loves Death Row Records and Foxx just went off and nailed Trump’s hip-hop wannabe-isms: “I love Death Row Records. I love Death Ro…” and as co-host Elliott Wilson started laughing, Foxx says, “Excuse Me. Excuse me, fake news. I love Death Row.” And added that his favorite Death Row record is, “All of them.”

If you close your eyes while listening to Jamie Foxx doing the bit, it’s pretty eerie how much he really sounds like Donald Trump. Foxx eventually can’t help himself and starts laughing at how ridiculous he sounds saying the exact things that Trump would say, like “They tried to give me the virus” and “I beat the virus.” Just another day in America y’all.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Home Searched by the FBI

Donald Trump Reportedly Teases 2024 Presidential Run at CPAC

Forme President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, was searched by the FBI on Monday. In a statement to his base, Trump revealed the FBI searched the home, broke open a safe, and more.

Sources revealed to The New York Times the search was focused on documents that Trump took with him as he departed the White House. He is allegedly in possession of classified documents. Trump had delayed returning a separate 15 boxes of material, citing a threat of action caused him to act. Those boxes included documents, gifts, letters, and more.

The escalated investigation into Trump comes as he toys with announcing a second presidential run. Trump is also the target of a criminal inquiry in Georgia, civil actions in New York, and the insurrection at the Nation’s Capitol.

In order for the search warrant to be approved, the FBI needed to convince a judge that evidence of a crime could be found at Mar-a-Lago. In addition, approval from top officials at the FBI and Justice Department are believed to be needed in order to search the home of a former president.

The FBI has not yet charged Trump with a crime.

“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump said. “Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries.”

President Biden and his aides revealed they found out about the search on Twitter.

John Legend Reveals He Is No Longer Close To Kanye West Due To Ye’s Support Of Donald Trump

In 2018, Kanye West felt like a completely different person. It was difficult for many to grasp what the Graduation rapper had become, especially after proclaiming “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” ten years earlier on national television. As a result, many fans and collaborators distanced themselves from the superproducer. One peer in particular, John Legend, recently spoke about how Ye’s political beliefs related to Donald Trump caused a chasm in their friendship.

CNN’s The Axe Files host David Axelrod spoke with the “All Of Me” artist and inquired as to the state of his relationship with West, Daily Mail reports. Legend replied, “We aren’t friends as much as we used to be because, I honestly think because we publicly disagreed on his running for office, his supporting Trump. I think it became, uh, too much for us to sustain our friendship, honestly.”

The R&B artist continued, sharing that the Yeezy founder took issue with his lack of support during Ye’s presidential campaign: “I wasn’t alone in that, but, you know, he was not happy about that. And we really haven’t been close since then.”

West and Legend previously worked together on “Selfish,” “Number One,” “They Say,” “Blame Game,” and many other records.

West has yet to comment on what Legend said.
