Nevertheless, he spoke from his own perspective and viewpoint when it comes to his struggles with toxic partnerships, addressing the dangers of gender standards regardless of how folks will respond to his point of view.

“I was in a domestic violence relationship, but we men, so we don’t know that,” Joe Budden posited. “We don’t know that if somebody just gets up and starts [saying], ‘Hey, you got a text I didn’t like. I’m burning all your clothes.’ That’s domestic violence… I had an incident one time where me and a lady broke up, and I took the phone back that I bought and was actively paying the bill for. Charges. Charges brought up. I didn’t know that [was stealing] so that was a lesson like, ‘Oh, okay. If there’s a dispute, you can’t tough the phone, even if you bought or got it.’”

Regarding Joe Budden’s accusations, his ex-partner Esther Baxter claimed that he caused her to have a miscarriage by allegedly sitting on her stomach during an altercation. Also, his ex Tahiry Jose called him out for supposed hypocrisy when he condemned the video of Diddy assaulting Cassie. “FOH, who??? The irony. This is so triggering!!!” she expressed on social media. “I remember joey throwing me down a flight of stairs dragging me back into the house & me having to talk him into letting me go. Keke Palmer & Darius Jackson Appear To Drop Domestic Violence Cases: Report

Keke Palmer and her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, have reportedly dropped their domestic violence cases against one another, according to The Jasmine Brand. The two were scheduled to appear in court on July 16, 2024, but the outlet notes that the hearing is no longer on the docket. Palmer initially filed her lawsuit in 2023 while providing testimony, pictures, and footage as evidence to detail the alleged abuse.

In her initial filing, she claimed that Jackson “trespassed” into her home on November 5, and “threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.” In turn, the court awarded her a temporary restraining order. She also got sole custody of their son, Leodis “Leo” Adrellton.

Bishop TD Jakes addressed the topic of domestic violence during his latest sermon on Sunday after CNN published footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016. While he didn’t mention Diddy’s video by name, he alluded to images that have been “floating over the news all week.”

Slim Jxmmi Accuses Baby Mother Of Domestic Violence, Leads To Arrest

Slim Jxmmi recently ran into some relationship trouble this past January that hopefully has gotten better since, although that’s unconfirmed. Moreover, TMZ reports that law enforcement responded to a call at his Doral, Florida home on January 22 for a domestic disturbance, according to a police report of the incident. There, the Rae Sremmurd rapper told officials that the mother of his child, Kiara Danielson punched him in the face during a fiery disagreement. Apparently, it started as a spat over social media activity that had him beckoning her to leave the house. When Danielson refused, the Mississippi MC tossed her belongings out of the home, and that’s when she allegedly attacked him three times.

However, her side of the story, according to the police report, is that she tried to film Slim Jxmmi during this fight. When he reached for it, Kiara Danielson allegedly grazed his eye, and she accused him of grabbing her during the tussle. While the “Kilo” artist had a scratch on his face, his baby mama had no visible injuries. As such, police concluded that she instigated the altercation, and arrested her for domestic violence.
