DJ Khaled made his runway debut as a model at Hugo Boss’ fashion show. He was in the spring-summer fashion show, which took place outside the One Herald Plaza in Miami. There was an aquatic theme to the show with walls of water and a runway that seemed to be floating. Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction at Hugo Boss, explained the theme in a press release. “One of the underlying motifs that inspired the collection is the exquisite tension that lies between contrasting elements, such as solid and fluid states; land and sea; opaque and transparent; past and present.” Khaled had a dark blazer on top of a white shirt and dark slacks.
In addition to DJ Khaled and Naomi Campbell, there were plenty of other famous models on the runway. Some examples include Pamela Anderson, Precious Lee, Ibtihaj Muhammad, Ezra Frech, Caleb Williams, and the recently retired image architect”/celeb stylist Law Roach. Despite his long history in the fashion scene, just like Khaled, it was his first time on the runway.
Despite the slippery look of the runway, nobody appears to have fallen during their walks. However, DJ Khaled does escort Naomi Campbell to the finish line as the only escort of the event. From the behind-the-scenes footage that Khaled dropped on his Instagram, it appears that the escort was something always planned. It was not a last-minute ploy to cover up some of the issues that were present during the shooting. Vogue Magazine explained that not everything went exactly as planned. There were strong winds that night and the fountains were acting up a little as well. However, nobody was hurt. After the show was over, they all celebrated a job well done.
There is no way that DJ Khaled could have done this before he lost weight. In 2019, he lost over 40 pounds due to his dieting with Weight Watchers. His motivation for the weight loss was not for himself, but rather for his family. “I have to love myself to take care of the people that I love,” Khaled said. “It’s not a priority, it’s the only priority.” It is good that he can enjoy the opportunities that come with less weight now.

Big Gipp continued to explain that Khaled owes a lot to T-Pain following the success of “All I Do Is Win.” He suggested that Khaled more or less figured out how to put together a hit record by observing others without actually putting in the groundwork. He added that the next step for Khaled would be to develop relationships in the industry in order to get others to rap on his records. “The first time that I really got to popping was because I got a relationship with T-Pain and he gave me a hook, and after that hook my career took off,” Gipp described Khaled.
“When they say play your biggest records, I hear nothing another n***a voice,” he continued, before reiterating that Khaled didn’t write but he produced the record in a fashion similar to a record label, rather than a producer. “But don’t be telling me you the best at what? DJ Khaled had a sweet message for Rihanna ahead of her Super Bowl halftime show later today (February 12). Moreover, the We The Best mogul spoke to Page Six at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party at the Arizona Biltmore. While he celebrated Super Bowl weekend along with dozens of A-list stars, he’s more excited for the grand event than anything else.
