Diddy To Remain In Jail, More Charges Still On The Table

Diddy and his legal team attended Manhattan federal court on Thursday (October 10) for their latest hearing, and it was a big one. Not only did the defense accept the judge’s offer for a May 2025 trial start date, but prosecutors also suggested that they could add more charges to the Bad Boy mogul’s original indictment given their still-ongoing investigation. Both teams agreed to refrain from speaking to the press moving forward, although the judge did not impose a gag order. Also, the prosecution denied defense attorney Marc Agnifilo’s claims that they leaked grand jury information to the press and are engaging in an unfair “takedown of a successful Black man.”

Back to the possible additional charges, though, this lines up with previous reports that a grand jury spoke to a sex worker allegedly linked to Diddy. However, perhaps the biggest update in the case is that the judge did not receive his third bail appeal, so they did not rule on it this time around. This means that Sean Combs will remain behind bars, and it’s unclear when the court will be able to rule on this bond attempt.

Despite all these developments, we imagine that the accusations against the prosecution that they allegedly leaked grand jury information might remain a contentious point in court. The Diddy case has so many civil allegations and federal accusations tied to it that the discourse against both sides is quite vocal. However, it’s impossible to make a full judgement call until we have a verdict from a court of law. As such, folks are still taking stock of pre-trial court developments more than anything else, especially when it comes to the specific charges against him.

Meanwhile, Diddy reportedly received an emotional prison visit recently from his twin daughters and his mother, so his family remains connected to him. With this latest hearing, we don’t know if the court will follow up on these matters and progress the trial forward sooner than we expect. But at least we have some new dates on the calendar to specifically look out for and be attentive to for new updates.

Last month, the Bad Boy founder was arrested in New York City and has since been behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He’s been hit with various charges related to alleged racketeering and sex trafficking and could end up serving serious time if convicted. According to his former bodyguard Gene Deal, however, these aren’t the only alleged crimes he should be exposed for.

During a recent episode of the Paperwork Party Podcast, he chatted with The Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace. Their conversation was brief, but during it, Wallace seemed to express her support for Deal. He then went on to gush about the interaction and the fact that she seemingly co-signed his efforts to expose Diddy. It’s speculated that he was referring to theories that Diddy was allegedly involved in Biggie and 2Pac’s murders, per AllHipHop.

“Did you hear that?” he asked. “She just said she be watching me. Go ahead and do what you do. Did you hear that? All muthaf*ckas that don’t give a f*ck about n***a, you just heard it from Big’s mama. Yeah.” Their conversation took place just a few months after Wallace weighed in on footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016, which was released earlier this year.

“I’m sick to my stomach,” she told Rolling Stone at the time. “I’m praying for Cassie,” Wallace also added, “I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video], I pray that he apologizes to her […] I hope that I see Sean one day and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him. Diddy Reportedly Gets Emotional Jail Visit From Twin Daughters & Mother

Last month, Diddy was arrested in New York City and hit with charges of alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. He’s been at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn ever since. Following the arrest, sources told TMZ that Diddy was mostly concerned about his seven children’s wellbeing. At the time, they claimed that he was eager to speak with them amid his legal issues. It was unclear if or when he’d have the ability to do so.

Now, the outlet reports that he received a visit from two of them last week. Reportedly, his twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie traveled all the way from California to see him, joined by their grandmother Janice Combs. The source adds that the visit was incredibly emotional, suggesting that it could have prompted the mogul’s mother’s recent remarks about his legal battle.

She spoke with Local 10 News last week, proclaiming her son’s alleged innocence. “I come to you today as another that is devastated and profoundly saddened by the allegations made against my son, Sean Combs,” her statement reads. “It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies. To bear witness to what seems like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”

Diddy Investigation: Former NYPD Detective Alleges That Mogul Could Expose Celebrity Friends

The Bad Boy founder was arrested in New York City last month and has since remained behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He’s been hit with charges for alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. This development has prompted a great deal of speculation about what the outcome of his case will be. During a recent interview with NewsNation‘s “The Scoop,” for example, former NYPD detective Derrick Parker shared his theory on what could happen.

Parker, also known as the Hip Hop Cop, investigated the NYC hip-hop scene in the 1990s and early 2000s. “I don’t see (Combs) getting out. I think with so much of the outcry of the victims in this case, he may either make a deal where he becomes King for a Day, where he tells everything he knows about someone else that might be bigger than what he’s doing for a deal,” he stated.

Derrick Parker Discusses Diddy’s Case

“I think anybody will rat if they’re getting put into a certain position where you’re looking at R. Kelly time,” he added. “R. Kelly’s doing 20 to 30 years on two separate cases in jail. That was two cases, right? (Combs) has got 100. And the problem he also has is the outcry of all these witnesses, it’s hard for a jury, I think, to listen to all these people come forward.” As for who Diddy could allegedly expose, he suspects that Jay-Z could allegedly be on the list. “Jay-Z and Diddy were pretty close,” he alleged.

“A lot of people went to these parties. It’s not just Jay Z. There are other more important people that are at these Freak Off parties that are very, everybody’s very scared right now,” he also alleged. According to AllHipHop, the former Bad Boy producer is accused of being part of “Combs Enterprise.” This is described by the outlet as an alleged criminal organization accused of various illegal activities.

The activities alleged sex trafficking, alleged drug-related offenses, and more. Lil Rod and his lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, accuse Stevie J of allegedly carrying guns for Diddy and also allegedly recruiting women for prostitution. These allegations come to light after Blackburn contested Diddy’s motion to dismiss Lil Rod’s lawsuit earlier this week.

At the time, Lil Rod also threatened to expose Diddy’s alleged co-conspirators if the lawsuit wasn’t settled. “Plaintiff has opted not to name these individuals in this opposition to the motion to dismiss,” Blackburn wrote. “If, in their reply, the defendants decide to foolishly ‘look a gift horse in the mouth,’ then plaintiff will gladly supplement this opposition memo. And provide the court with the identities of the individuals.”

During a press conference earlier this week, Buzbee explained that these individuals accuse Diddy of sexual assault and abuse. 25 of the individuals claim to have been minors when they were allegedly victimized by Diddy. Erica Wolff, an attorney representing Diddy, denied these allegations on his behalf earlier this week.

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Wolff told Rolling Stone. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. Diddy Puts Together A New Legal Team Following Third Bail Attempt

Diddy has been denied bail twice, but that’s not going to stop him from finding a solution. Previously, the embattled mogul had his attorney offer up $50,000,000 which included the sales of his and his mother’s homes in Miami. In that same bail package was limited travel between Florida and New York for essential matters. After shutting down that proposal, Diddy and his legal team appealed and did so with a second option. He was willing to sacrifice not having any female visitors besides his family members and other vital contacts such as property caretakers.

There would also be no contact with witnesses, co-conspirators, daily logs would be taken of visitors each day, and he would do daily drug tests. The court voted no on that, so what does Diddy have up his sleeve this time? Well, according to a report from TMZ, he is adding to new pieces to what he hopes will be the defense team to get him out of jail before trial. One of those fresh faces is Anthony Ricco, who we previously reported on after the Bad Boy Records boss filed another appeal for Judge Andrew Carter’s decision to deny their requests for a release under any circumstance.

Diddy & His Legal Team Seek Appeal After Court Denies His Release Request

The court previously denied Diddy release from jail on bond on two separate occasions in his sex trafficking case, but it looks like his legal team will continue to fight for it. Moreover, according to court documents obtained by journalist Meghann Cuniff, his lawyers filed a notice of appeal on Monday (September 30) concerning Judge Andrew Carter’s decision to deny their requests for a release under any circumstance ahead of his trial. In addition, Cuniff also reported that a new member joined Sean Combs’ legal team recently: an attorney by the name of Anthony Ricco. We will see in due time whether this appeal is a successful attempt.

According to court documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo stated that they couldn’t do much more to get him out of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, which Agnifilo described as “horrific” after failed bail attempts and a failed request to move him to Essex County. “Following the September 18, 2024 court appearance, the court ordered a status update from counsel concerning any request related to the location of Mr. Combs’ detention,” the attorney expressed. “At this point, there is no request from counsel that the court take any action.”

Furthermore, the court allegedly denied Diddy’s bond due to supposed victim intimidation and bribery. Prosecutors claim that he “used his considerable wealth and influence to make victims rely on him financially, for example, by paying for their rent or their cars or by offering them career opportunities. The bail package proposed by defense counsel is insufficient because it fails to adequately protect others from the defendant’s violence, impose measures to prevent and detect obstruction, or prevent the defendant from accessing his vast resources.”

“He’s going to clear his name and we’re going to stand by his side as he does,” Diddy’s lawyer told reporters previously, per CNN. “We believe in him wholeheartedly. He came here to turn himself in. Why doesn’t the government want him to turn himself in? Because then they can’t ask for detention. All we can do is show good faith. He got on a plane and he came here. They arrested a guy who came here to turn himself in.”

Tokyo Toni Alleges Diddy Is Being Framed During Controversial & Defensive Rant

A lot of celebrities have expressed their appalled reactions to the Diddy scandal as more accusations and developments in his federal case emerge. But not everyone has the same level of sympathy for his alleged victims, or feels the same abhorrence over his supposed actions. Tokyo Toni, for example recently took to her social media to defend the Bad Boy mogul, suggesting that the famous world is being hypocritical and selectively outrage while also mocking accusers. Not only that, but she even blamed them for what allegedly happened to them.

“Free Puffy, free Puffy,” Tokyo Toni said on Instagram Live concerning Diddy. “We know what’s happening, the real ones. Yeah, free Puffy, get him on out of there, y’all. Why is everyone mad at Puffy? *laughs* Every celebrity in the world, in the United States, points their fingers to a man that they know been did this five, ten, 15 years ago. What a set-up. And they for some reason still can’t snatch it. Good. Any girl that got ‘R-P”d shouldn’t have been there. Oh, well. Shouldn’t have been there. You shouldn’t have been there. ‘Puffy r**ed me!’” she added in a mocking voice. “So nobody saw you leaving? You involuntarily walked [in], they just grabbed you and snatched you and threw you in the back? Same with R. Kelly.”

Earlier this year, R. Kelly (who was convicted on similar charges to the ones that Diddy faces) also came forward to defend him. “I don’t believe none of this s**t,” he shared, calling the whole thing a “federal conspiracy.” “You could tell me about Puffy, you could tell me about anybody.

“You could tell me on the news, the weather, the sky is blue, I’m not gonna believe the s**t,” R. Kelly continued regarding Diddy. “‘Cause I’m in it now, and I know what they did.” He alleged that the courts “hunted” them and other celebrities for their lavish wealth and success. “The s**t is crazy,” Kelly went on. “Motherf***ers out there laughing and making comedian jokes and doing all the other s**t on the radio and everything else, but they a** could be next. Suge Knight Theorizes That Diddy Could Experience Violence In Prison

It’s no secret that Diddy is dealing with a lot right now. Earlier this month, the Bad Boy founder was arrested in New York City following months of shocking allegations and lawsuits. He’s been hit with several charges, and could reportedly receive a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted. Currently, he’s in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, and his lawyer Marc Agnifilo recently told TMZ that he has a positive mindset.

According to Suge Knight, however, Diddy could be in for a rude awakening during his prison stay. Last week, Knight spoke with NewsNation about the mogul’s legal battle, making it clear that he’s not at all happy about his incarceration. Moreover, he speculated that he could experience violence behind bars if another inmate decided to hurt him for notoriety.

“I’m not going to cheer for a Black man going to prison or any human being going to prison,” he explained. “I mean, one of the things is this: I don’t care who you are. Prison and jail is a negative environment. Somebody can do something to him and get a name for themself, they gonna actually do it. Or if they can do whatever they feel they gotta do to prove themself.” Knight isn’t the only person with this outlook on things, however.

Recently, 1090 Jake sat down with VladTV and shared a similar theory.
