Master P Explains How To Avoid Legal Scandals Like The Indictment Against Diddy

Even though Diddy faces the brunt of the accusations against him alone, his federal indictment and slew of lawsuits also provoked a lot of tough conversations about celebrity culture and complicity. Some see this situation as a product of one man’s alleged behavior, others think that more famous people are involved, and a few believe that the nature of industry and power dynamics always keeps the root for this abhorrence alive. But some stars are making it clear that they did not give in, according to them. For example, Master P recently spoke to WGNO-TV / ABC26 / WNOL38 about how he avoided the path that Sean Combs allegedly went down.

“Because I realized I had the same friends I had when I started out,” Master P said of the Diddy scandal, positing that he eschewed clout-chasers during his rapid rise in favor of his circle before the fame. “I think a lot of these people don’t realize that a lot of these people want to be your friend once you make it. Tokyo Toni Alleges Diddy Is Being Framed During Controversial & Defensive Rant

But not everyone has the same level of sympathy for his alleged victims, or feels the same abhorrence over his supposed actions. Tokyo Toni, for example recently took to her social media to defend the Bad Boy mogul, suggesting that the famous world is being hypocritical and selectively outrage while also mocking accusers. Not only that, but she even blamed them for what allegedly happened to them.

“Free Puffy, free Puffy,” Tokyo Toni said on Instagram Live concerning Diddy. “We know what’s happening, the real ones. Yeah, free Puffy, get him on out of there, y’all. Why is everyone mad at Puffy? *laughs* Every celebrity in the world, in the United States, points their fingers to a man that they know been did this five, ten, 15 years ago. What a set-up. Earlier this year, R. Kelly (who was convicted on similar charges to the ones that Diddy faces) also came forward to defend him. “I don’t believe none of this s**t,” he shared, calling the whole thing a “federal conspiracy.” “You could tell me about Puffy, you could tell me about anybody.

“You could tell me on the news, the weather, the sky is blue, I’m not gonna believe the s**t,” R. Kelly continued regarding Diddy. “‘Cause I’m in it now, and I know what they did.” He alleged that the courts “hunted” them and other celebrities for their lavish wealth and success. “The s**t is crazy,” Kelly went on. “Motherf***ers out there laughing and making comedian jokes and doing all the other s**t on the radio and everything else, but they a** could be next. Cam’ron Claims He Rejected Key To NYC After Diddy Returned It Amid Scandal

On his It Is What It Is sports talk show with Mase, Cam’ron recently claimed that he turned down an offer from New York City Mayor Eric Adams to receive the key to the city. This was apparently before Adams received a federal indictment over corruption-related charges, for which he pleaded not guilty. However, it was also after the mayor gave the key to Diddy in September 2023. You probably recall that the Bad Boy mogul returned the key in May of this year after his various sexual assault allegations poured in (plus the Cassie assault video), leading up to his current federal indictment.

As for how Cam’ron revealed this, he remarked on the matter after Mase threw some shots at his ex higher-up Diddy, which led Cam to bring up Eric Adams’ situation. “You know what’s crazy?” he asked. “This is word to everything I love. Last month, they called me to see if I wanted the key to the city. I said, ‘I don’t want to be involved with nothing.’ I said, ‘That ain’t really up my alley right now, I’m cool with the key to New York City, man.’”

During their conversation, she alleged that she’d been contacted about the “sale of one of the Diddy tapes.” She also alleged that the tape in question featured an even higher-profile celebrity than Diddy.

“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood being shopped around. But one particular person contacted me to shop a particular video,” Mitchell-Kidd alleged. “I can tell the video was pornographic. This was in his Atlanta home, and it does seem like the person isn’t looking into the video. To me, it doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped.”

Katt Williams already clowned Diddy as a snitch, and he’s far from done with his comedic onslaughts on the disgraced music executive. Moreover, during a recent stand-up comedy set, he targeted the 1,000 bottles of baby oil that federal authorities reportedly found during raids on Sean Combs’ properties. But Williams’ real ridicule was for Puffy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo. He claimed that his client “buys in bulk” like any other U.S. citizen, bought them from a nearby Costco, and should not be scrutinized so heavily for his possessions. “His dumb a** lawyer says, ‘He probably got it at Costco,’” the comedian joked. “Costco hit right back: ‘We don’t even sell baby oil.’”

This is – apparently – true: Costco did reportedly reach out to TMZ via a spokesperson to claim that none of their locations sell baby oil, and the outlet seemed to confirm this by checking their online storefront. “Back when I was a kid in the late ’70s, they were called threesomes,” Diddy’s lawyer added to TMZ. “I don’t know where the number ‘1,000’ came from. I can’t imagine it’s thousands [of bottles of baby oil and lube]. I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”

“For years, Sean Combs used the business empire he controlled to sexually abuse and exploit women, as well as to commit other acts of violence and obstruction of justice,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams claimed against Diddy as part of the federal indictment against him. “He is charged with racketeering and sex trafficking offenses. If you have been a victim of Combs’ alleged abuse – or if you know anything about his alleged crimes – we urge you to come forward. This investigation is far from over.”

Meanwhile, Agnifilo recently provided an update on how Diddy’s feeling about all this. “His state of mind is actually remarkably positive,” he remarked during TMZ‘s recent documentary. “His resolve is strong, he’s engaged, he’s focused on his defense… He’s come to terms with the fact that this is where he is for now.” The attorney also added that his client has the strength to move forward by focusing on his defense. Kid Cudi’s Car Fire Detailed In New Arson Report After Diddy Denies Involvement

The federal case against Diddy, plus a slew of other allegations, implicates at least a couple of other music industry figures as part of its investigation. Many other celebrities emerged in it thanks to social media, although many references to them claim that they are victims or witnesses, not perpetrators. Such is the case for the accusation that Sean Combs ordered the arson of Kid Cudi’s car back in 2012 for allegedly having a relationship with Cassie after she broke up with the Bad Boy mogul. Her lawsuit is what first brought this allegation forth. Now, according to a Rolling Stone report from Friday (September 27), the Los Angeles City Fire Department issued a new arson report of the incident, which took place on January 9, 2012.

Moreover, the publication reports that Kid Cudi’s Porsche was set ablaze by an “incendiary device” at his Los Angeles home. The L.A. City Fire Department concluded that the fire began at 10:53AM local time and caused an approximate amount of $100,000 in damages. In addition, the report claimed that this fire was “intentional,” although it did not mention any suspects. Rolling Stone further elaborated that this appeared in a 2012 report to the fire department, and that a woman reportedly spoke to officials at the scene of the crime. Cudi stated to The New York Times back in November that the allegations Cassie brought forth concerning his car explosion and Diddy’s alleged orchestration of it are “all true.”

Not only that, but reportedly, police and fire departments have documented reports of the incident that conclude it was intentional. Moreover, according to News Nation, one of Sean Combs’ sexual assault accusers’ lawyers, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, claimed that unspecified sources contacted her about “sale of one of the Diddy tapes.” Not only that, but this supposed recording allegedly features a “more high-profile” celebrity that she did not name, in addition to Combs.

Mitchell-Kidd also offered more harrowing alleged details of her client’s supposed experience with Diddy in 2018, stating that she filed a police report at the time. “She reached out to me a few weeks ago,” she remarked. “She called me and told me about her assault and her escape, she was at a friend’s house who had industry ties. And Diddy decided to come to the house.” The attorney also claimed that her client found out that he planned to subject her to sex trafficking.

“It led to [someone serving her] a drink,” Mitchell-Kidd alleged. “She started to feel woozy. Combs sexually assaulted her with an inanimate object. […] And then directed another gentleman to sexually assault her while he watched and pleasured himself.” She claimed her client escaped from the situation, and that a neighbor witnessed this. However, it’s important to note that he and his legal team have denied almost all the accusations thrown against him in the past, and that these are unverified claims. Moreover, Radar Online reportedly spoke to a supposedly knowledgeable source that accused Sean Combs of luring underage girls to his alleged “freak-off” parties, which are the subject of the federal investigation against him. The alleged source claims that he seduced singer Good Fridae to attend one of these parties when she was 16 with food and substances.

Furthermore, Good Fridae’s alleged testimony claims that Diddy’s behavior toward her extended to other underage girls. According to her supposed recollections (as this seemingly came from another source), his associates chased her down a Toronto hotel hallway in 1990 when she tried to get away from the alleged “freak-off.” Also, the singer claims that security stopped her when she tried to leave after speaking to the U.S. Sun. “He stood in front of the main door and he grabbed my shoulders, and he’s like, ‘You’re not going anywhere,’” she was quoted as saying, although it’s unclear what man she’s talking about.

Furthermore, Good Fridae allegedly claimed that she wanted to leave to find her friend, and felt uncomfortable with how older men approached her and asked her to “do things with them.” Afterwards, she reportedly saw Diddy leave one of the “freak-off” rooms, which caused her to have a panic attack. Fridae alleges that his security already told him that she was trying to leave, which is why she alleges that he ran at her with an upset facial expression.

“I ran to press the elevator button, hoping it would come, so I wouldn’t have to run down 20 plus flights of emergency exit stairs,” Good Fridae allegedly recalled. As for how they met, she and Diddy reportedly crossed paths while she was in a girl group. After he allegedly invited Fridae and she said she was only sixteen, he supposedly responded with “Oh it’s okay, I don’t check IDs at my parties.” The Bad Boy mogul continues to deny the many accusations against him and will combat them in court.
