Eminem And His Daughter Hailie Went To Detroit Lions Game

Over the weekend the Detroit Lions played the Carolina Panthers at Ford Field in Detroit. The home team ended up winning elevating the Lions to an impressive 4-1 record on the season. With the team off to their best start in a long time, fans are re-emerging to cheer on the team. That included Eminem and his daughter Hailie Jade who were in attendance over the weekend. Both took to Instagram to both share photos of themselves at the game and also comment on their experience.

“football, family & seemingly ranch,” Hailie captioned her Instagram post which featured a series of pictures and videos from the game. The “seemingly ranch” comment is a reference to the Taylor Swift mania that is sweeping over the NFL right now. Since she began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce she’s attended a few of the team’s games. A tweet about her eating “seemingly ranch” during a game caught fire and became promotional material for the NFL itself. Check out Hailie’s entire Instagram post below.

Eminem also took to Instagram recently to shoutout a recent Lil Wayne lyric. “Bro Wayne just said “got a bunch of zeros like a bag of new funyuns!!” F*CK why didn’t I think of that????” he tweeted last week. The lyric comes from a new song Lil Wayne just released alongside YG and Tyga called “Brand New.” That caused his tweet to become a hub for followers to share their own favorite Wayne lyrical moments.

Recently, Eminem became one of the top 10 best selling artists of all time. He passed classic rock legends Led Zeppelin to become the only rapper on the all time total sales list. It came after he hit an astonishing 207,262,000 total sales throughout his entire career. What do you think of Eminem and Hailie sharing photos from a recent Detroit Lions game? Five NFL Players Suspended For Betting Offenses

The NFL has always had a somewhat awkward relationship with sports betting. As more and more states have legalized the practice, the NFL has cautiously opened itself up to the lucrative industry. In 2021, the league announced agreements with four sportsbook operators. However, the NFL has been careful not to officially endorse any one operator through an official partnership. Sports betting revenue hit $7.5 billion in 2022.

However, an area where the NFL has held firm is betting on the part of its players. Like most professional sports leagues in the US, the NFL forbids players from betting in any capacity. The most notable casualty of this is Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who was suspended for the 2022 season for betting on games during the 2021 season. That suspension led to Ridley’s release from the Falcons, as well as criticisms that the NFL was harsher on gambling than issues such as sexual assault.

Four Lions, One Commander Handed Suspensions

On April 21, the NFL officially suspended five players for betting-related offenses. Wide receiver Quintez Cephus and safety C.J. Moore, both of the Lions, and defensive end Shaka Toney of the Commanders received indefinite suspensions for betting on NFL games. Wide receivers Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill, also both of the Lions, were suspended for six games each for placing bets not related to the NFL. The Lions have since reported that Cephus and Moore have been released from the team. Toney remains on the Commanders at the time of writing.

Williams is the biggest name of the five who were suspended. The twelfth overall pick in the 2022 Draft, Williams spent most of the season rehabbing from an ACL tear sustained in the 2022 College National Championship game. However, he was expected to be a major part of the Lions’ offense this season. Of the other Lions suspended, Cephus was a 2020 fifth-rounder who has played in 22 games over the last three seasons. Moore went undrafted in 2019 but has made 48 tackles in 56 games for the Lions. Berryhill went undrafted in 2022 and made four appearances for the team last year. Shaka Toney was a 2021 seventh-rounder who appeared in 26 games for the Commanders.

Aaron Rodgers Brutally Roasted By Lions TikTok Account

Aaron Rodgers is a quarterback who has been heavily criticized over the last few years. Much of this has been due to the fact that he refused to get vaccinated. He lied about his immunization status, and it has led to a whole lot of roasting on social media.

Overall, Rodgers has had a fairly off year with the Green Bay Packers. Just a few weeks ago, this team had no shot of making it to the playoffs. They had suffered multiple bad losses that had Rodgers looking old. However, in recent weeks, they had picked up the pace and needed a win against the Lions on Sunday to make it to the playoffs.

In the end, Rodgers and the Packers actually came up fairly short. They lost 20-16, and now, they will not be in the postseason. Instead, the Seattle Seahawks will get their spot. Overall, it is unfortunate for Rodgers, who felt like he had some revenge to get on those who doubted his teammates.

Lions Destroy Aaron Rodgers

Previously, Rodgers had some interesting comments about the Lions and their record. He made it seem like they aren’t a team he needs to worry about. Of course, that did not sit right with the team, who promptly roasted him on social media after Sunday night’s tilt.

In the clip below, you can find a TikTok in which Rodgers and his statements are obliterated by the Lions’ social media team. The sounds that are used are quite humorous, and overall, it has to be nice if you’re a Lions fan.

Unfortunately for the Lions, they will not be going to the playoffs this year either. They finished with a 9-8 record, however, the Seahawks won on Sunday which put them over the edge for the final Wild Card spot.

As this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks This Season comes to a close, Detroit native Eminem took on the task of checking out the Detroit Lions training camp as they gear up for their 2022 season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

As Em greeted the players and staff of the Lions, Head Coach Dan Campbell let Mr. Mathers know, “Nobody represents this city like you do.”

Eminem Could Play ‘Any Position’ For The Detroit Lions, He Jokes On The ‘Hard Knocks’ Finale

The 2022 season of Hard Knocks with the Detroit Lions concluded last night. The five episode series showed head coach Dan Campbell’s team trying to find an identity and establish a winning culture after a disastrous 3-13-1 previous season. Campbell’s message to the team throughout the season was about having “Grit,” something that means a lot to the workhorse city of Detroit. And it’s hard to think of someone who embodies that grit, passion, and ability to rise up to the top, quite as much as arguably Detroit’s most famous export, Eminem.

So on the season finale, Eminem visited the Lions’ training camp facility and looked to be having a lot of fun in the process. He joked about throwing a football on the street as far as he can, but realizing that it only goes 10 yards. He told quarterback Jared Goff that he was much taller than he expected him to be.

He also volunteered his services to the team, saying, “Any position, I’m good. Actually, any position, I’m great.” He passed the ice baths and a running back Jamaal Williams told him all he needed was a 90-second dip to soothe achy muscles. To that, Em replied, “F*ck that. That’s 90 seconds too long!” He even treated the team to a lunch of his “Mom’s Spaghetti.”

Eminem had clearly been watching this season of Hard Knocks as he referenced rookie phenom Aidan Hutchinson’s rendition of “Billie Jean” in front of the entire team. But what really stood out was that Em was humble, present, and gracious enough to take photos and shake hands and chat with everyone he met. The mutual respect was most evident when he met the Lions head coach and Campbell (who is a massive human and dwarfed the rapper) gave him a hug and said, “Nobody represents this city more than you do. It’s a pleasure to have you out here.”

The NFL announced at its annual meeting Monday that the Detroit Lions will appear on the HBO show “Hard Knocks” this summer. The five-episode series, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at training camp and the preseason, is scheduled to run Aug. 9-Sept. 6.

“We are excited about the opportunity to showcase the City of Detroit and the amazing culture we are building at the Lions,” said Detroit Lions Team President and CEO, Rod Wood. “HBO Sports and NFL Films are the best of the best and we know they will be excellent partners in sharing our story with football fans around the world.”

This will be the Lions first appearance on Hard Knocks. The Lions, coming off a 3-13-1 season and four straight last-place finishes in the NFC North, were an attractive selection this year in part because of head coach Dan Campbell. The team will look to build on a strong end of season showing and look to get the Lions back into playoff contention.
