Stephen A Smith Gives His Advice To Deion Sanders’ Sons

Deion Sanders has been in the midst of some controversy during the college football off-season. After a disappointing season in his first year at Colorado, Sanders has been deflecting blame and lashing out at players who have left the program. He has been accused by former players of destroying his players’ confidence. After the news hit of his players’ comments, Deion started going after them on social media. Joining Deion on his social media crusade against their detractors are his sons Shedeur and Shilo Sanders. This activity on social media has made pundits like Stephen A. Smith question their decisions.

Publicly criticizing former players is not a good look. It’s even worse when your sons join you in this behavior. Colorado has experienced a mass exodus of players. Sanders primarily recruits from the transfer portal and has yet to make any significant recruiting moves. The priority should be on a successful season, as the consequences of failure could be severe for everyone involved. Stephen A. Smith’s advice for the Sanders brothers and their use of social media is crucial in this context.

Stephen A. Smith Warns Deion Sanders Kids

Stephen A. Smith tells Shilo and Shedeur that, first and foremost, they will always have his support because of their father. Stephen A. considers Deion Sanders a brother, and that’s why he wants them to listen to his advice. The ESPN personality lets the Sanders boys know that how they are communicating and coming across on social media is unbecoming because they haven’t earned anything yet like their father. He understands they are protective of their father but reminds them that how they defend him and communicate is important. He reminded them that they represent Colorado and their father, so what they say holds weight.

Stephen A. also reminded Shedeur of how he celebrated last season by showing off his expensive watch. He said the young quarterbacks celebrated when they won, but they lost more than they won last season. Overall, the Deion Sanders Colorado situation is turning into a mess. It is looking more and more likely that they might not have a better season than they did last year. Ultimately, we can count on the Sanders family placing blame on any and everyone but themselves.

Deion Sanders Mocks Former Player Who Transferred Out Of Colorado

Deion Sanders is under a lot of fire this offseason. The Colorado head coach is experiencing a mass exodus of players leaving his program. The Buffaloes acquired six players this off-season through the transfer portal this spring, but twenty-three of Deion Sanders’ 2023 additions have left the program. Now Sanders is firing shots at transfers. He has now mocked a former Buffalo on Twitter. Sanders is constantly defending himself on social media, so it’s no surprise he has taken a shot at a former player.

Sanders has run off most of the Colorado roster that had scholarships upon his arrival. The upheaval of the roster was dramatic, and Deion was seen as alienating and dismissive of his players. This spring, he lost starters like left tackle Savion Washington and important players like wide receiver Tar’Varish Dawson. Sanders’ 2023 class included standout recruits, including cornerback Cormani McClain and running back Dylan Edwards. Deion took shots at Jaheim Ward, who transferred from Colorado to Austin Peay, on Twitter.

Deion Sanders Mocks Jaheim Ward

While many athletes and fans have a connection with Deion Sanders’ approach at Colorado, it is undeniably not for everybody. Xavier Smith, a former Colorado safety, has criticized the coach’s style. When Sanders was moving players about on his first Buffaloes squad, Smith was “cut” by Colorado, but he recently told The Athletic that Sanders handled the matter poorly. Smith said of Sanders, “He was destroying guys’ confidence and belief in themselves. The way he did it, it could’ve been done with a little more compassion.”

Sanders’ son Sheduer responded to the quotes on Twitter, saying, “Ion even remember him tbh.” Sanders also tweeted. “Bro had to be very mid at best.” Now, Deion Sanders has mocked Jaheim Ward player’s quote, tweeting his stats at Austin Peay. Deion and Shedeur are defending their program. Overall, they need to respond after a disappointing season. Jaheim Ward is defending himself, firing back, saying he had more past deflections than Coach Prime’s son.

In a recent YouTube video, Pilar Sanders, the ex-wife of former NFL star Deion Sanders, aired out grievances against him, accusing him of neglecting their daughter Shelomi’s basketball career. Shelomi, a talented athlete, recently decided to transfer from the University of Colorado to Alabama A&M, prompting Deion’s disapproval.

Pilar criticized Deion for allegedly interfering with Shelomi’s college recruiting process, pushing her to follow him to Jackson State and then to the University of Colorado, where she ended up riding the bench. Despite Shelomi’s desire to transfer to a school where she could play, Deion publicly criticized her decision.

The video, shared on Pilar’s YouTube channel, highlights the ongoing tensions between the former couple, shedding light on their strained relationship and its impact on their daughter’s aspirations. Watch Pilar’s candid response to Deion’s remarks in the video below

‘Elevate or Terminate,’ Deion Sanders Is the University of Colorado’s New Head Coach

If you thought Deion Sanders was jumping ship any time soon to take his coaching talents to the NFL, guess again, think again. He recently reaffirmed his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes.

Sanders stood firm in his dedication to the Buffaloes’ program following an eventful spring game where his star sons, Shedeur and Shilo, showcased their skills on the field. There has been some speculation about a potential NFL move to join his sons, but Sanders clarified that his focus remains steadfast on leading the Buggaloes to success. After the scrimmage, Sanders addressed the media. Sanders emphasized his commitment to the team, especially with both sons poised to enter their final collegiate seasons. Notably, Shedeur, in particular, is receiving plenty of attention as a potential top quarterback prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Despite the lure of the NFL and ongoing recruiting efforts, Sanders assured recruits and their families about his focus on the Buffaloes program in the immediate future. With promising commitments from the class of 2025, including two recent additions, Sanders remains optimistic about the program’s future and is ready to guide incoming players to success.

“I tell them the truth,” Sanders said at the presser. “I tell them I’m a father, not a baby daddy. I don’t follow my kids. I pave roads for my kids. I build generational wealth for my kids. I lead my kids. I don’t follow my kids. So I do not plan on following my kids to the NFL. I have work to do here.” Sanders added “I absolutely love it here, and I would never think a young brother from the South would really love it in this part of the country but I really do. … The fan base that we have here … I just want to really bless you with a tremendously successful team. I really do. That’s my heart.”

After a disappointing but improved season where the Buffaloes finished a 4-8, Colorado distributed 28,424 tickets for Saturday’s game. That was still the second-largest crowd for a spring game in school history. Colorado branded the weekend with a Black & Gold theme, supported by a talent show earlier in the week and even a concert featuring Lil Wayne slated for Saturday.

Before the game, Sanders thanked the crowd for braving the elements as the weather was not ideal. He made a top-class statement honoring 99-year-old Superman Peggy Coppom: “Our goal is, we’re going to get you to a bowl game, lady.” He finished with more confidence and his positive outlook. ”I love what we’re building in this locker room, and if you’re not a part of that thought process or that desire, you don’t fit. So now you see the gallop to the portal, you see that, but even with those guys, I wish them the best.”

Ryan Garcia Shows up for Colorado’s Spring Football Game, Rap Concert

Ryan Garcia Shows up for Colorado's Spring Football Game, Rap Concert

While most of Colorado is talking about the Denver Nuggets’ dominance over the Lakers in the NBA playoffs, Ryan Garcia and Deion Sanders are reminding the state that Jokic and Murray still have to share the spotlight.

Ryan Garcia braved the cold and rainy mountain weather to show up at Colorado University’s spring football game on Saturday and then joined the team in the facility afterwards as a guest of head coach Deion Sanders.

Garcia was seen mingling with the staff and players at the spring game and then afterward joining the team at their facility while rocking a Colorado jersey and shaking Sanders’ hand before showing off some boxing moves with the Buffs’ head coach. Sanders proceeds to give Garcia a hug and congratulate him on his recent success while the two talk about the influence of Jesus in their lives. In the video, Garcia says: “It says in the Bible, any time you’re going to boast about anything, boast about the Lord.”

However, the real performance came when Garcia performed in front of a sold-out crowd in Colorado, not just rapping his song, “Blessed, Highly Favored,” mixing in push-ups with his performance.

As for his trip to the Rocky Mountains, Garcia seemed to be pleased, taking to X to share his excitement about his performance and also joking about joining the team, posting:

“Getting signed to Colorado im eligible

Pretty cool let’s see if I pull this off

LETS GO”

The Colorado Buffaloes begin their season on August 29 against North Dakota State. While it is doubtful that Garcia will actually be on the roster, it will be interesting to see what Coach Prime does in his second season as the head coach of the team.

Deion Sanders Has Surprising Reaction To Daughter Deiondra’s Pregnancy With Jacquees

Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees announced last month that they are expecting a child, and received a whole lot of well-wishes as a result. While their relationship’s path was quite turbulent, it seems like they’re in a great place right now and ready to move forward with this heartening new chapter in their lives. Moreover, this announcement elicited a lot of different reactions of social media, but a lot of folks were waiting on Deiondra’s father, Deion Sanders, to share his two cents on the matter. In an interview with PEOPLE published Wednesday (April 10), the football and baseball legend shared some surprising thoughts.

First off, he admitted that there’s “not one thing” that excites him about becoming a first-time grandfather soon, and that he’s still letting the news sink in. “I haven’t digested that whole thing yet,” Eli Manning’s co-signee told the publication concerning his daughter’s pregnancy with Jacquees. “I’m proud of my baby that she’s at least waited until her thirties to give me this gift of life.” Also, Deion Sanders revealed that his top priority is to make sure that “she’s straight emotionally and psychologically as well.”

When Deiondra shared the news of her pregnancy, she stated that it was “not planned nor expected,” and had the following to say about her relationship with Jacquees. “I’m not having my baby to keep a man. I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to.” “God is overly good!” he captioned a post of some sonogram pictures. “Colossal Blessings on the way!! LOOOOOK AT MY BABY!!! 18 weeks and 5 days!!! Lord I thank you!!”

Meanwhile, this follows Deion’s initial reaction to this announcement on social media. “PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I’m YOUNG. I Love u baby and I’m glad u said u ain’t having a baby to keep a man. You’ve always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY. Eli Manning Has Simple Response To Deion Sanders

Eli Manning had a hall of fame career in his time with the New York Giants. However, playing in New York wasn’t always a for sure thing. Well, it was for Manning and his team. The former Ole Miss star had his sights on playing in the Big Apple, even though the San Diego Chargers held the number one overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. But in the end Manning stood his ground and ended up playing his entire career in New York. A move that Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders has even mentioned to his team.

When discussing the future of his top players, Sanders mentioned that if things don’t go the way he would like, maybe his players would pull an Eli. If the situation doesn’t feel like a fit, Sanders seems sure that Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders and DB Travis Hunter could create their own future just like Manning did twenty years ago. To hear Sanders’ comments, check out the video posted below.

Eli Manning Agrees With Deion Sanders Latest Take

However, pulling this off is easier said than done. At one point, during all the talk of the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, many believed that Caleb Williams, who is the favorite to be the number one overall pick, might pull the same thing about not being a part of the Chicago Bears organization. However, those rumors have all but been squashed since the Bears traded starting quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It would take a confident player with a great support system to pull off a move like Manning. However, the potential of two players doing it in the same draft class seems nearly impossible. But, in a world where this actually works out for both guys, would that help Sanders in his recruiting efforts? Telling potential recruits that he can help them land in a perfect situation in the NFL would be a great selling point for any head coach. Deion Sanders Already Knows Where He Wants Shedeur Sanders To Play: “Certain Cities Where It Ain’t Gonna Happen”

Deion Sanders says that his son, Shedeur Sanders, and teammate Travis Hunter, will only play for certain teams in the NFL. Appearing on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, the Colorado head coach discussed his plans for each of his star players’ future NFL careers. For Shedeur and Hunter, he expects: “Top-4,” in the draft and hinted at a scenario similar to Eli Manning.

He explained: “Anywhere from 1-4, one of them is gonna be 1. One of them is gonna be 1, and the latter one would not go behind 4. Now, all this is subjective because I know where I want, kind of want them to go — and let’s not forget Shilo (Sanders). But I know where I want them to go. So, there’s certain cities where it ain’t gonna happen. It’s gonna be an Eli.”
