Tay-K Says He “Feels Like A Hamster” In Prison

Tay-K sent out several tweets regarding his alleged treatment behind bars.

The “Hard” rapper shared a series of tweets on Tuesday night where he described poor treatment in prison in brief. “I’m at war within,” he wrote on Tuesday.

“I feel like a hamster in here,” he continued. “they’re literally treating me like a ferret in here rn.”

Tay-K has been particularly active on Twitter in the past few months. He shared some bars while also updating fans on his well-being and his thoughts. At the beginning of January, he said that he wanted “1 chance at adulthood.”

He further explained that race played a significant role in the judge’s decision to try him as an adult. “I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16,” he wrote.

At this time, he said that he wouldn’t have faced such a severe sentence. Instead, he likely would’ve faced a lesser punishment of having to complete a rehabilitation program.

“They woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood,” he continued.

Afterward, he pointed out that his co-defendant, a white girl of the same age, didn’t face any time.

“she ended up getting 10 years of probation without no deal…that girl @ home rn,” he added.

Following the trial, a judge sentenced Tay-K to nearly 100 years in prison. A jury found the rapper guilty of his role in Ethan Walker’s murder. Police identified Walker as the victim of a home invasion. A judge later ordered Tay-K to serve 55 years for the murder. Additionally, the court ordered another 30 years for aggravated robbery; and 13 years for two additional counts of aggravated robbery.

We will keep you posted on any more developments related to Tay-K’s case.

King Von Allegedly Placed $100K Hit On FBG Duck, FBI Witness Says: Report

King Von allegedly put a $100K bounty to kill FBG Duck, according to newly released FBI documents.

Chicago Scene 88 obtained the newly released documents from an interview with a witness. The unnamed individual identified numerous people allegedly involved in Duck’s death. The witness spoke to officers on August 18th, 2020, weeks after Duck’s death.

Though many of the names have been redacted, the witness alleged King Von initially placed a $50K hit on FBG Duck. He then upped the reward to $100K.

The witness also alleged that King Von purchased “custom made necklaces for ‘O Block GDs’ responsible for the murder of WEEKLY.” Additionally, the FBI documents also revealed the person they interviewed identified the alleged shooters. The witness said Marcus Smart, better known as MuWop, carried out “several murders on behalf of O-Block Black Disciples.”

Another document that emerged identified the weapons used in the murder of FBG Duck, which is linked to dozens of other murders in Chicago.

Following the paperwork’s release, fans dug up an old tweet from King Von where he stated that he and Duck squashed their feud.

“Me and Duck settled Our differences right before he passed,” he tweeted after Duck’s passing. “We was talking bout bringing everybody together as a whole n changing da community for the better. Imma still stand on dat shit. Every step of the way imma be thinking of u. Even doe u dissed my dead homies and family.”

FBG Duck’s mother later shut down these claims, calling them lies.

There isn’t confirmation surrounding the authenticity of the documents at this point but HNHH will keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding the case.

Tory Lanez’s Lawyer Suggests There Were Mistakes Made During Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Trial

Tory Lanez recently hired a new lawyer to his team, Jose Baez, who famously defended Casey Anthony and Anthony Hernandez. Baez wasn’t on board during Lanez’s trial in December, which ended with a guilty verdict on all three counts. However, it appears that he’s hopeful that he could appeal.

Baez briefly detailed his role on Tory’s team, as well as the possibilities of an appeal with TMZ. He explained that he wished he “had come in sooner as opposed to later.”

“Unfortunately, this is the way that it is, but he’s got me now and I’m certainly willing to give him everything I have and hopefully, we’ll get the best result possible for him,” he said.

Baez added that Tory seems to be adjusting to life in jail better than expected. Still, there are things he hoped would’ve gone the other way during the trial.

“In all of that, there are things that certainly in the trial he wished had gone the other way,” he said. “He’s trying his best to adjust to everything. In light of the fact that he’s never been in this situation before, it’s really a tough process to go through.”

Baez hasn’t appeared in court on Tory’s behalf yet, therefore he couldn’t publicly comment on the case. However, he suggested that there are flaws in the case that could warrant an appeal. He said that the court it is a “human system” that determines the outcome of each case. “There’s mistakes in trials all the time,” he said.

“Now, when you have a high-profile case, there’s a lot more things to worry about,” he explained. Baez added that this creates more concerns for the judiciary, defense lawyers, and prosecutors to ensure a fair trial.

“So all players are now playing with additional work and need to be protecting those safeguards to ensure that there’s a safe trial to begin with,” he continued. “And I have to tell you, 9 out of 10 times, we get it wrong. So I would say that there’s probably a significant chance that there are numerous errors that are within the system and within this case that should be explored, and see if perhaps the results would have been different should it gone the other way.”

Greta Thunberg Carried Away By German Police During Protest

German police carried Greta Thunberg out during a protest against the expansion of a coal mine. Per The Guardian, police detained several protesters, including Thunberg during the protest.

Police said Thunberg sat by the edge of the Garzweiler 2 mine. The location of the protest is roughly five miles away from Lützerath, the village undergoing destruction for the coalmine expansion.

“Greta Thunberg was part of a group of activists who rushed towards the ledge,” a spokesperson for Aachen police said. “However, she was then stopped and carried by us with this group out of the immediate danger area to establish their identity.”

Police detained Thunberg and led her to a vehicle, where she sat alone.

Thunberg joined the protest on Friday. However, police managed to get the majority of protesters out of the building over the last few days. The famed environmental activist was among the few who continued to protest until Tuesday.

Thunberg’s detainment comes a few short weeks after her online spat with Andrew Tate. The controversial media personality attempted to antagonize Thunberg by flaunting his numerous supercars. The back-and-forth is what many believe led to his arrest.

“Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” he wrote.

Former NFL Star Jerrell Powe Arrested For Kidnapping

The internet has been buzzing this week with news regarding sports stars’ controversies, and Jerrell Powe was an unlikely addition. The former NFL star played for Ole Miss before being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. He would move on to the Houston Texans and also played for the Washington Commanders before being released in 2015. Powe officially retired in 2017.

He has kept a low profile over the years without returning to the spotlight. However, several news outlets reported Powe was arrested in Mississippi in connection to a kidnapping.

Ice Spice Stopped By Police, Man Arrested For Possession Of A Weapon: Report

Her planned music video shoot with Lil Tjay may have been delayed, but Ice Spice made the most of it. The rising artist was recently captured filming the visual to her single “In Ha Mood”; however, that wasn’t the reported initial plan. Spice and her team were in her hometown of the Bronx, waiting to meet with Tjay, when news of the rapper’s arrest circulated.

However, according to the New York Post, Tjay wasn’t the only person stopped by police. Ice Spice was also questioned while in a car with a man.

The report states that Spice, real name Isis Gaston, was involved in a separate incident with authorities around the same time as Tjay. She and a 34-year-old man named Markus Grisham were pulled over by police. During the stop, Grisham was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

The “Munch” hitmaker wasn’t detained or charged, said the New York Police Department.

Lil Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio, told TMZ that her client was sitting in a parked car when they were also questioned.

Cardi B’s Strip Club Attack Takes Her Back To Court, Rapper Skipped 15 Days Of Community Service

Cardi B got off relatively easy in court when it came to her infamous 2018 strip club brawl. Last September, the mother of two and her co-defendants pleaded guilty to two misdemeanour charges. At the same time, they saw the dismissal of ten other counts – two of which were felonies.

As a punishment, the Invasion of Privacy artist’s sentence requires she complete 15 days of community service. In a statement following her day in court, Bardi said, “Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions.”

Unfortunately for her, the New York native was unable to walk the walk. After failing to finish her sentence, Cardi B found herself in Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday (January 17). As per usual, she looked incredibly glamorous, sporting a tight white dress, oversized fur coat, and matching Dior sunglasses.

It remains unclear exactly what the 30-year-old said to the judge. However, it’s possible Takeoff’s recent passing is part of the reason she was unable to fulfill her commitment. In the weeks since the Migos member’s untimely death, she’s been doing her part to take care of her husband, Offset, and their kids.

Thankfully for Cardi, she was given one last chance to get her community service done. According to Daily Mail, she has until March 1 to get her days in, or she could face jail time.

In a statement to the outlet, the entertainer’s lawyer, Drew Findling shared his client’s thoughts on the situation. “Personally and professionally, Cardi is dedicated to community service and charitable endeavours,” he said. “She therefore appreciates the court giving her until March 1st to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”

In other news, Cardi B sat down with Jason Lee as the first guest on his new podcast. They got candid about everything from her past with plastic surgery, to how she reacted to the news of Takeoff’s death in December.

Lil Tjay’s Attorney Questions If Police Had The Right To Search Vehicle: Report

There was an unfortunate run-in with the law yesterday after Lil Tjay was arrested. The New York rapper was reportedly in the Bronx with his team when he was pulled over for a traffic stop. According to reports, Tjay was on his way to film a music video with the city’s rising hitmaker, Ice Spice. However, after his vehicle was searched, police allegedly located a firearm.

Videos of Tjay being escorted to a police vehicle have surfaced on the internet. Bystanders recorded the incident, and one person even shouted out to the rapper, asking him if he was okay.

Following the widespread initial reports, TMZ returned with an update. The outlet was said to have spoken with Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio. The lawyer is no stranger to taking on high-profile clients.

Florio reportedly doesn’t believe that those officers legally searched Tjay’s car. The rapper was said to have been a passenger “with several other people,” not the driver. Further, Florio added the car was legally parked on the street and didn’t warrant police attention.

Because Tjay posted on social media about filming the “Gangsta Boo” music video with Ice Spice, Florio suggested police were on the prowl. That hasn’t been confirmed, but the investigation is ongoing.

Last summer, Lil Tjay faced a harrowing ordeal after he was shot seven times during a botched robbery. It took months for the rapper to recover, but he is doing much better and has returned to his career full force.
